Not a bad class. Attendence is manditory, and expect to participate in class. Group project at the end of the semester. A nice lady too. Shes better than most accounting teachers, and is a real person.

The best prof i have encountered at RCC. Very helpful, and will accomadate those who really want to succeed. Also puts a unique and comical spin on lectures.

Worsham is THE BEST accounting teacher. Her classes are fun!! She tries hard to make the students understand accounting. Very friendly and smart.

She requires a lot from students. However, she does not just go by your point total. She goes by the classes point total to get your grade. If the whole class fails a test than she grades on a curve so you don't fail. There is a lot of work for her online classes, though.

its not an easy class. You really have to pay attention. If you get lost, get help right away or you will fall behind. She is very nice and is willing to help you as much as possible.

Great teacher. She knows a lot about accounting and makes the lectures interesting. Lots of group work in her class. She gives extra credit in class and study guides for her tests. She was really helpful. Definitely take her for accounting.

Hard class with extra hard tests. She is very helpful to those interested in learning. Gives extra credit for class work and makes final optional if you like your grade. Just make sure you study and don't fall behind. Very challenging class. AWESOME teacher

INTERNET COURSE.Decent course for the internet. Not something I would reccomend for most. I came away with a "B", and plenty happy with that. She explained what was up from the beginning due dates and everything. She was understanding of system problems...when it really was the system. She was very organized, if you r not u may want to reconsider

This was an online class and it was very hard. Very demanding. Prof. Worsham was awesome. Always responded to emails and phone calls. Treated the class fairly. I learned a lot and would take her again for ACC 1B. She seems really nice.

Great teacher!! The material was sooo hard, but she tried her best to make it as easy to understand as possible. Tutoring was very helpful. She gives extra credit that saved me! I was overjoyed that I got a B!

Took her once, failed the class. My own fault, took her again and aced it. Gave quite a bit of extra credit, never got an A on a test (close though), but an A in the class overall. Great teacher, highly recommended. STUDY! If you study, you will pass the class easy!

Patti is amazing. In her words "pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever" this class is difficult because the material is difficult but she makes it understandable and even interesting. She completely empathizes with her students struggling with accounting and shes there to help. Get a solid B and youll be happy to see it turn into an A. I<3 u

Super hard class but Worsham was really helpful. Felt badly for her, think some people gave her a hardtime. Wasn't her fault. Horrible book. She always emailed me back when I had questions and went beyond what others prfoessrs would do to help me. Wuld defintley take her again. Very nice and helpful.

Super hard class, but Patti is available for help and wants to see her students do well. Don't take this class if you are looking for an easy class to use as an elective. The book is horrible and hard to understand.

Excellent professor, made class interesting, and accessible to all students with fun anecdotes and references. Will go out of her way to help you. Looking forward to taking 1B and ACC 38 with her.

Professor Worsham is THE BEST professor i've ever had. I'm an average student....maybe even a below average student, but Professor Worsham helped me so much and so amazing. i've never had a professor ever care so much about students, clarity is on spot and coolest professor, funny too. class is so hard though so watch out. NEED BOOK

She was great I advise you to take her! She just tells it how it is, but don't go in thinking you can just sit there! Very entertaining as well.

Great Teacher. I took her hybrid 1a class. She is very nice and helpful i plan to take hybrid 1b. No busy work was given and made every effort to help the class pass.A+++++

I took this class online, helpful and willing to meet in person for additional info. Necessary to stay on top of work assigned. Not an EASY class by any means, but Prof. Worsham is helpful to those willing to learn.

Professor Worsham is a wonderful teacher. When it comes to accounting, you have to get into the material. Your outcome depends on your experience with the book problems, and Professor Worsham is always there to help. She provided the class with a SI to help tutor and prepare us for exams. She really cares about the students.

Professor Worsham is super cool. She is very laid back and jokes around with her students, however this class is fairly difficult. In order to learn you have to actually do the work. Sometimes she moves a little fast but she is very helpful when you ask for it. She truly cares about her students and wants you to do well. Overall awesome teacher!

Yes the class is hard, there's no denying that. You have to read the book and do the work. If you put the effort into the class you have the potential to do well. She started giving quizzes at the beginning of each class (it actually helps!). She is always willing to help and makes it interesting. Oh! And ask her some time to tell you about Hector!

I love her!!!although the class is hard and demanding she really cares about her students. I took the 8 weeks course so take caution but overall she is awesome.

Professor Worsham is the best! accounting is hard already. I passed and there is a 75% fail rate the first time you take it. She cares about making sure you pass and gives extra credit. I will take her for accounting 1B. TAKE HER

Love her. Took the class online in half a semester. Learning acc online is hard let alone in half a semester (just a warning). You HAVE to read. If you don't understand (which you won't at first) email her, she's great at explaining. Just read, do the homework, and do decent on the tests and you can get an A. She was generous with her curve.

Prof. Worsham was helpful and is good about getting back to emails fast. Book is hard but electures and video problems were good. Class was hard but had to take it since business is my major. Wish I had taken her for 1Abecause she's good at explaining things.

Hardest class I've ever taken. Watch her lectures she has them on her website. They helped me and were funny (she says a semester of learning accounting is like being pregnant). If you email Her she gets back to you right away. Will call you too, she did this with me on a Sunday. Dedicated to her students. Hope to take her for 1B.

Accounting is an extremely hard class, but Patti really helped you to understand what you were doing. She answered questions, and was always available if you needed her. She gave extra credit which definitively helped with the course. She's fair and really wants her students to pass the class.

I thought ACC 1A was hard. Hated 1B but had to take it for my major. Online tutorials and videos saved me. Patti is good at getting back to emails and her step by step answers were helpful. I'd take her again but so glad to be done with this class.

I had the same experience as others here. Took her online during the winter. A full semester of work in 6 weeks. So much reading. Lots of homework. Tests were hard but she tells you what to study. Way better then others who teach this. Second time taking this. Have her now for 1B.

Great professor! I took this online and there were a few times I thought maybe I should not have done that. Accounting is tough, but this professor had just the right work load(not too heavy) so that you had time to actually study the subject. She responded to e-mails very quickly and effectively. Generous curve on final which is taken on campus.

The only one to take for Accounting. Hard class but her lectures are good. She's funny and helpful. I went to her office hours for help and she was really nice. Just be ready to work a lot for your grade.

Best teacher I've ever had. I took this class online and managed to get a C (I have no clue how) and received an official B with her curve. She is so friendly and very encouraging to an already difficult subject. I want to take the second half but honestly do not understand the material, I could not focus. VERY RIGOROUS SUBJECT!

Took this prof for ACC 1A and 1B so I knew her style. Payroll accounting was so much easier then the other accounting classes. Homework, quizzes, tests, and project. She answers her emails really fast and I appreciated her helping me quickly. Wish she taught business classes because she is awesome.

Online summer semester - Prof. Worsham responds to emails and answers questions. She's not afraid to correct her mistakes. She'll take your time into consideration. She credits the class points for errors on the quizzes. She cut down the length of an assignment so that her students would have more time to study. She is very fair to her students.

Highly recommended. Accounting is a difficult subject but Professor Worsham is extremely helpful and wants you to pass. All of the assignments are listed out for you in the beginning of the semester along with their due dates so you can get started immediately. Her online videos explain everything you need to know but if you still have questions,

Great teacher who really cares about helping her students pass. Homework is rare and easy. Lectures are very clear and helpful. Not much extra credit. Quizes and Exams are hard so take the time to study. First 4 weeks are tough but as long as you get down the first 4 chapters its gets much easier. Hoping i can take another class with her.

Best prof. at Norco College. Hardest class I've ever had but Worsham made it fun. Don't bother trying to take anyone else- just take her.

Took Acc 1A in class my very 1st semester, received a C. This was probably one of the hardest courses I ended up taking out of my 2.5 yrs at rcc, but I loved her! Great lectures( so attendance was key) quick email responses and she really tries to help you understand. I took her ACC1b online and got a B knowing what to expect easier 2nd time around

A very difficult class, but professor Worsham in a way forces you to learn the material. Read the book, take notes, ask questions and use the resources on cengage and you will do just fine.

Hardest class I've ever taken. A semester in 8 weeks was really hard. She explains stuff really well. Be ready to work cuz she moves fast and if you don't keep up you won't get caught up. This class was HARD. Government / non-profit accounting is way harder then ACC1A but Mrs. Worsham was really helpful. I emailed her a lot- I mean a lot - and she always got back with me and showed me how to solve problems I had trouble with. The book was boring and hard to read and there no videos to help. She was great and I'll take her again.

I'm a business major so I had to take this class. Second time taking it. First professor I had didn't teach us anything, he just read PowerPoint slides. Worsham is amazing. She works problems in class and never does PowerPoint. You learn by doing lots of problems with her. She's really patient and good at teaching.

Hardest class I've ever taken. Not sure about that other comment but I thought Prof. Worsham was good. Watch her videos she has a lot of them that she made. Also lots of videos in the homework. Book is hard to read but the videos got me through this. Worsham is also good if you have questions. Went to her office hours and she helped me a lot.

She's good. If you have take accounting take it with her because I've had terrible professors for accounting. There's lot of work but if have questions she will help you. She explains things well (my other prof didn't) and she's easy to get a hold of. Glad to have this one behind me.

Amazing! This was a really hard class and I thought I wasn't going to pass. She was really understanding when I emailed her that I was worried about my grade. She applied a curve at the end that bumped me up to a passing grade. I was so happy. Take her. She's hard but nice and cares about her students.

Hardest class I have ever had. I'm a business major not an accounting major and i hate accounting. Tests are hard, lots of homework but Prof. Worsham was really at breaking things down for you and she's easy to get ahold of. Other professors take forever to get back to you, if they ever do. Worsham is fast at emailing. Take her. Best one out there.

I'm a business major and had to take this class. Second time taking this class but first time with Worsham. She's good at getting back to you with help and gives good explanations. Really fair. She wants you to pass and helps you. Nice and cares about her students. I would take her again for ACC 1B

This class starts off like a slow ascend until you reach the end of chapter 2 and you realize the true roller coaster of things that will make your mind want to give up . But Patty will grab you by the chin and tell you exactly how to attack the problem and explains it so well that next time you feel confident enough to tackle the question.. AA++

An overall nice teacher that encourages you to contact her when things go awry. Lectures did not encompass everything which led me to taking notes from the textbook instead. Still, an understanding teacher that cares about you grasping this seemingly foreign subject.

Definitely my favorite professor. Not an easy class but if need help with something she will help you. Just don't miss assignments because she won't let you make it up.

Class is hard so I'm glad I took this in person with her. She does the homework with you which helped a lot. The book is hard to read but she breaks down the chapters making them easy to understand. You can go to her office before class and she will go over your quizzes with you. She's really nice and genuinely cares and has empathy for you.

Accounting 1A was online and easy to follow. The instructor answered questions quickly, gave plenty of time for tests, and made everything clear. There are a few discussion posts where you need to connect your answers to the textbook chapters, but they're manageable. I definitely recommend taking her—she's great!

THE BEST! So happy I got her for ACC1B to. I wasn't sure how I would do in the class as it was an 8 week course, but she explained everything very clearly. She is also very sweet when it comes to being confused. if you email her, she responds very quickly, and she will help explain it better for you. I could not recommend this professor enough.

Professor Worsham was awesome! Super friendly, always answered questions really fast, and made the class easier to understand. The curve at the end really helped me out since I missed a few assignments. You can tell she really cares and she wants you to do good in class.

Prof Worsham was really nice and always quick to respond to messages, which made the class feel personal. Class was easy to follow and super manageable, even with my busy schedule.
