Anderson was great. He gives take home tests that you can work on with classmates and he is willing to answer phone calls past one in the morning! Early classes could put you to sleep though.

I love this teacher. He is so helpful and clear and will make sure you pass his class.

The rating is somewhat deceptive. You can get an A easily, but he's too easy. It's hard to learn anything because he gives it all to you. By test time, you don't know how to figure out the problems (many of which he doesn't go over) for yourself.But he does stuff to boost your grade.

He's an awesome professor. He is very helpful, straight forward tests, weekly homework, but very informative. He doesn't let you slip through the cracks. Always willing to help you when you ask. Sit in the front, you will get more out of it.

Class was a joke. Anderson is a nice guy but he makes it soooooooo easy that you don't learn anything and it sucks. If you are an Accouting or a Finance major do not take him... Deal is not much better either...

Very friendly professor. Dry teaching style, but loves to teach students. This class is better for non-accounting business majors. Stan Deal (another great prof) would be better for accounting majors. Always available in his office and probably at APU sporting events (he's at all of them)

He's a nice guy, but he is just way too boring. I couldn't help falling asleep during most classes. Weekly h/w isn't fun, he lectures all class on his meticulously put together power-point. Take him if u want, but i'd bring a laptop...or a pillow

I took Anderson for Accounting I and loved him. I thought I would again for Org. and Mang. but I was wrong. He is so boring early in he morning. He just goes through powerpoints and 80 pg. packets. I have learned nothing about management and it feels like im in accounting all over again.

Easy A. No homework really. Half the tests are take home, half are in class. He knows what he is talking about and explainst the subject well. He is pretty interesting and does an OK job of keeping my attention

Anderson is such a rad guy. The class was not hard in general. The in class tests were pretty tough, but there were a lot of take home ones which really help the grade. He has the sweetest head of hair you'll ever see also. He really wants everyone to do well so you can get help from him anytime. Anyways take Anderson for sure

Great Professor. He uses powerpoint to teach his class. you follow along with the lesson so that you learn with the class. its great for visual learners. uses real world situations and examples to explain his lesson.

I took first year accounting at a JC and hated it, but took 2nd year with Anderson and loved it. He makes it really easy to understand and doesn't bore you with theory. He just tells you how to do it and you do it. Little homework and test are easy if you study a little.

A-Dog! I have had him for accounting one and two and he made the topic of accounting actually interesting. He wants you to succeed and is very reasonable with everything. Take him and he will be one of your best teachers. Also DO NOT buy the book its $100+ bucks and we never touched it.

Anderson is amazing! I was dreading taking accounting and after his class I actually considered changing my major! If you pay attention and do the exercises you will get 100%s on all your tests. Do the final peachtree early and get tons of extra credit! Take Him!!!

Anderson is my favorite Business professor thus far. He is very clear and makes class fun. He has lots of office hours and is more than willing to help you out if you need tutoring. I was dreading taking accounting, but it has turned out to be a good class.

He cares about his students and their success and puts in countless hours helping them reach their goals, even if that is furthered by just getting to know them on a personal level. Accounting in itself is dry, so despite him always trying to make it interesting, sometimes it's a bit boring. The tests are easy if you attend class and do the hw. Extra credit available too

Very good professor. He is the best for ones that knows little about accounting but want to explore a career or degree in accounting. He guides you step by step to understand the accounting circle and regulated practices. The class packet is very help and get you familiar and confident with the concept you learn.

Anderson is great!! I had NO previous experience in accounting whatsoever, & he helped take a foreign subject & make it familiar. Also he really cares about making sure the class is on the same page as him. While he lectures, he constantly asks the question "Everybody ok with that?" This just goes to show his sincere concern for his students :)

Plus, he makes accounting apply to the real world so you can see how companies use it on a daily basis. The videos are really interesting too! :)

Great Prof. Study before the tests for a bit and you'll ace them. Not difficult concepts and he teaches them well. Hw=50%, tests=50%. He'll bake cookies every once a while and play movie clips during class to express how he views life or relate it to accounting. TAKE HIM!

I was intimidated going into this class with no background in accounting, but Professor Anderson made the class so interesting with videos and real world examples. My favorite class this past semester! Don't buy the textbook, just buy the course packet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANDERSON!

Professor Anderson is super chill and funny. He makes class enjoyable and if you are anything like me and just wanted to get intro to Accounting 1 out of the way, I would definitely recommend taking his class. Compared to the other accounting professors, Anderson is the easiest. The notebook we use has the same exact question format as his tests.

I recommend going to him after class or email him and make an appointment if you have any questions...he is VERY happy to help you if you ask for it. Also, if you would like an "A" on your tests, go over the classwork on your own. Rework the problems yourself & practice with classmates-- this helps a lot!

TAKE ANDERSON! He is truly the greatest professor you will ever have. He really makes an effort to get to know all of his students and he also relates the boring subject of accounting the the real world. He even shows videos like every day :) Best class ever!

Tests are super easy, do your homework and review before your test and guarantee you will ace it. Don't study for your test and you will fail. I got a 58% on my first test, i study afterward and pick up my crap and now im getting high 90s on my test. I AM NOT KIDDING YOU.

I love Anderson's class. I learn something new every lecture. As long as you're there for lectures, you'll learn a lot. He's a fairly lenient grader and offered 50 points extra credit on a 200 point assignment if you turned it in early. Instead of teaching out of a textbook he teaches out of a course packet he created which makes it easier.

Professor Anderson is a grat teacher! He definitely makes accounting more interesting by showing little video clips and such. The class work is exactly the same as the test so study that! It starts off hard but it really isn't that bad :) plus he gives a huge extra credit opportunity! (No textbook just the course pack)

Professor Anderson is probably my favorite professor that I have taken at APU, and I am a junior. His teaching style is incredibly helpful. Every class he goes over the material, and you have the exact same material in the course pack. All of the answers are right there. However, you have to study for this class. Just keep practicing, and its an A.

He is a really chill guy and his lectures are really straightforward - he doesn't go on random tangents but keeps it focused. He's nice, lenient and resourceful. One of my favorite teachers at APU!

Simple class, great teacher. Don't buy the textbook, only to workbook. Attendance not take, and you really don't need to go because he basically gives you all the lectures. Great guy, and I will take him again.

Anderson is the easiest accounting teacher at APU. He gives many extra credit opportunities and gives you everything you need to do well on the tests. The tests are not long and if you review the material for 30 minutes before, you can get an A very easily.

Professor Anderson explained everything well and I really enjoyed taking his Accounting 1 class, but just be careful because after taking his class and then moved on to Accounting 2, it was really hard so really pay attention and try not to just pass!

You don't need the textbook, but you do need the coursepack. He is really easy (just tests which is the same format of the coursepack and one hw assignment); he is passionate about accounting and his students; he made me want to change my major to accounting. He makes it interesting. My favorite professor of all time.

I never used the textbook, but I used the coursepack every day in class. Never any required homework. Tests every three weeks or so. Easy material, but I felt like I did not learn a lot about what real accounting is like. We covered the same thing for many weeks and progressed very slow. Really nice guy.

If you aren't an accounting major and just looking to get through your accounting classes, Dr. Anderson is a must take. He does not over complicate accounting, and does not give out of class homework. Study for 1-2 hours before each test and you'll do great. Overall: A fun class that gets you another "A" to pad that GPA!

Paul Anderson is so great! I had him last semester and now I'm taking his 121 class! There's only a few tests, and he works really hard to make sure that you understand the content. If you sleep in or whatever, the day-to-day lectures aren't super important, but I would recommend going just so you don't fall behind. No homework!

Super chill prof. Makes accounting simple and doable. Lectures are a bit dry but that's accounting. I hear it's hard to have a different prof for acct 2 so make sure you get him for both classes. Great guy take him.

Really easy class, attendance not required, although make sure you study for tests because that is normally the only grade you'll receive. Homework is pretty rare.

Every class we go through the interactive textbook from where we left off. He does a good job re-explaining things when they don't make sense and we get zero homework. There are tests every couple chapters and no final. Most test questions come straight from the textbook or the jeopardy game he has on canvas.

Professor Anderson is the nicest person I have ever met. He is so nice and I really enjoyed his class. Acct 120 and 121 is supppppper easy, its impossible not to get an A from him. the only down side is that his classes are usually offered as mon, wed,fri:////

we always turned in class work that was done through the lectures, so if you miss that day you miss the points for class work. we didn't have any homework and he gave you packets that were very similar to tests. tests were m/c and pretty easy. if you come to class and turn in work you will be good. He's a great guy and definitely recommend him

Prof. Anderson was so sweet and was willing to answer all questions whenever anyone asked. He got straight into lecturing one class started, and never ended class early. The only drawback of this class was the fact that we had to spend money on the book and also spend money on the "workbook" which was just his slides that could've been printed out.

Was nervous taking the course as I never had exposure to acct. though the class was pretty cool. 6 exams made up our grade & were based off our class lectures. He took away points if you did a wrong # or entry but wouldn't dock any more if you still executed the concept correctly. Recommend printing out the slides & taking really good notes. No hw

Professor Anderson makes accounting really approachable. The class is mostly lecture-based, but he's great at explaining the concepts. The tests are fair and focus on the key material. I found unstuck AI super helpful for practice questions and exam prep. Overall, a solid course with a chill prof.
