Dr. Richard is a very good teacher. He explains really well. You do not have to read the required book if you come in class every day. Furthermore, the exams are easy. Ywill get an A in his class if you do everything he says. I recommend you to take his class.

B. Diddy a.k.a Professor Bernstein is awesome !! He's a great professor, he's helpful, kind, and funny! Very nice guy. Class is very interesting and test are super easy. He is just so nice!! An A+ teacher. I definitely recommend him.

Best Math Teacher ever!!! If you are looking for a college algebra or statistics teacher, you better take him. I took him for both of these classes and trust me, as long as you do your homework, you should get an A on your tests. His finals come DIRECTLY from the 4 tests. After each test he goes over all the questions that were on it in class.

If you come to his class, take notes and do the homework just as a refresher you will get A's on all of his test. He is very clear when he explains the work and is willing to answer any of your questions he is a very good teacher. I highly recommend him.

Professor Beaulieu is a good professor. He is very helpful and fair. He goes fast though so you have to pay attention in order to keep up. If you want to learn Statistics and not just get a grade he is the professor to take.

Don't get me wrong, HE is excellent, but word to the wise DO NOT take him for a 6 wk class. He goes way too fast. Overall he is great, he will go over the material until you get it. Tests are hard-show work you'll get extra pts., do homework and pay attention in class.Gives extra credit. if wrong, will rtn to correct to get full credit.

im horrible at math! BUT i got a B in this class. I never opened the book, never did any of the homework. All i did was attend every class and take good notes-write down everything he writes on the board-all the examples. Tests were easy. If i would have done the homework and actually studied i could have got an A-He is very helpful-knows his stuff

took him for a 6 week summer course. i slacked and got a solid C. I suck at math. write things you need to remember on your table sheets and get a calculator. I recommend this class for an easy non-pain-in-the-ass class.

This guy rocks! It is so hard to find a math professor that is organized and explains everything in detail. There are times where he goes off on tangents, but he will NOT test you on stuff if he hasnt covered it in class. He is willing to help you out any time. He also lets you use a packet on all the tests which has all the formulas you need. #1!

I took the 6 wk. class. A lot of material, very complicated, but he helps you get through it. Accessible via e-mail, always in class early and will stay late if needed. I'm sure I could have done better, but I guess I can deal with a B. Copy down all notes and examples and do h/w. He doesn't collect it, it only helps YOU! He's cute too, that helps!

This professor is very clear with his explanations of Statistics. However, there are no prior reviews with any exams he gives. The test are based off his notes. He does help by giving you x-credit to assist you in passing. Overall, he is a very good teacher.

WOW, this is the second time I took this class. Got 79.5 and he curved it to a "B". Great Prof., very intense about Stats. Come every class, do h/w, go to lab(duh, and you will be fine. This is the only guy you should take for this course. You will not be sorry.

He is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Study your notes, do your extra credit, and show your work on all tests and quizes. This class is not impossible, I got an A.

Take him. I'm terrible in math, but earned an A! Attend every class, study your notes, and do the h.w. for your own good & you will have an A too! I took him for intermediate algebra as well and he is a good teacher. He has a tendancy to write fast but he is always willing to help before or after class. Explains thoroughly. I am happy to be taking him again. We used the book but you can either use that or mymathlab. Tests were not bad and quizes are easy.

Statistics is a hard class, period. So you have to anticipate you will have to pay attention and practice!! Paul does a great job explaining and teaching a very difficult subject. I recommend him highly, but you will have to work hard. Not an easy A, but it can be done

Mr. B is awesome! Very fair tests. The subject is hard, but he makes it bearable and interesting. If you come to every class and study for each test, you'll be fine. You CAN live without the text book as long as you take notes!

I took him this winter semester 08 and he is a great teacher...love the way he expresses points. He will go the extra mile so you understand. If you are not prepare for a test he will allow you to take it at a later time (if it's convenient for him). Don't lose any of your exams because that's where final will come from....I love him. Honestly not a bad professor. He teaches differently from the book though so you'll have to understand his method before you tackle the problems in the book. He tries to be nice (seriously) but he does have his favorite set of people.

His class is not a walk in the park, you have to do the homework to make sure you really have the info because he goes so fast in class you probably won't grasp it just based on the lecture,But he will go over and over the info to reinforce it and he gives extra credit and will help you out. He is better than most stat prof out there. writes notes on the board, if you from his notes alone you shoud be fine but try to do your homework from the bood and it will be beneficial. If you must take this class for your degree, then this is the Professor for you. He makes an extremely difficult subject("One giant word problem")bearable. He is generous with his grading and will give you partial credit for wrong answers. I prayed for a C and rec'd a B.(This was a 6 wk summer course and my 1st class in 14 yrs since becoming an RN)

I took him for back-back Algebra & Stats Saturday mornings. 1st day, I was lost, but after that I got used to his style. And really he is awesome!! Don't need to buy books. Everything on tests is from class. Take good notes. Some problems are exact. Final is exact problems from prior tests. Made math fun. Got A's in both classes. Gives extra credit

Great teacher, I had him for statistics. Hard subject, but he explains the material very well. I would suggest sitting in the front of the class because his notes can be hard to read at times. He is very entertaining and good natured. You must study for this class in order to pass, Statistics is not an easy subject.

He is awesome!!! The beg is easy but as we get more into it does get a lil bit harder so study.. He will help you in whatever way you need to make sure you pass just ask for help. The quiz and test are easy as long as you do the hw. I would totally recommend him to everyone.

His voice is a little annoying and he is at times picky but he is a very good teacher and is fair at grading things. If you go to the classes and pay attention, you should do well. He talks about things that he doesn't always know about (like medical/social issues), but through his negatives he is generally a positive experience!

Great teacher, partial credit written test, muilt-choice final, no mid-term. I didn't even use the book, studied from notes only. He makes sure you understand, and yes he repeats as much as you ask him, but does not like to. Tells you what to study, no review (your tests are reviews). Saturday 3hr class 1-10min break (normally). Highly recommended.

Math is not my forte, but this professor is awesome. He is very clear in his lecturing, and he will go out of his way to make himself available to help you in any way he can. He returns emails and also gives extra credit to help you pass. He makes you feel very comfortable asking questions before, during and after class. I highly recommend him.

Took this over the summer. Very fast paced but I passed with a B. There are 4 tests and a final. Gives extra credit worth 12-15pts on a test. He drops the lowest test if you get higher on the final. He will help you if you have questions.

Loved the class, loved him and his teaching style. I have had many bad math professors here but he's the best. I wish I had found him sooner and I might have enjoyed my math classes much much more. I had Des Jardnies and Toussaint who were nightmares. Also had Grosso here who was fair. I wish I had Professor Beaulieu for all my other maths.

Prof. B was very knowledgable and did a fantastic job teaching this class. He gives examples and tells you what to study to pass his tests. If you study and take notes, you will do well. There is also extra points for doing homework. He is well organized. He does talk fast, and can come across as a Elem Teacher, but only to help you succeed.

Prof. B is one of the best professor at BC North. First two exams was a bit tricky, but once you get into the sections where you use the calculator, STAT 2023 becomes easy. Attendance is mandatory as you cannot afford to miss class as the text book is of no help. Take Prof. B. Easy A if you put in the work.

Honestly he is a very nice teacher. But he has some flaws. Very strict (very) test are hard. No multiple choice, you must write and do the work the way he wants it. Personally i found the Finals quite easier than his test. He is sometime clear, and is helpful. But other than that he is okay. He is average.

Took this class over summer MTWR for two hours. Its a long class but the weeks go by fast. Sometimes talks to us like were children but he's clear, gives partial credit on tests, 1 pt extra credit for each homework (20 in total), and replaces your lowest test grade with final. Not an easy class, but hes the best teacher to pass the class with.

Best math teacher I've ever had I took him for mat0018 and stats. I would have taken him for all my math courses but he wasn't available so I had to settle for less which I'm still paying for. This teacher truly cares about his students just put in the effort and you'll do well.

He writes all his notes on the board, copy them exactly in order to pass tests. There's a combination of 8 quizzes and 4 Test in addition to Final. You earn extra 20 points by completing MyLabs. He's very energetic and animated which I liked. I needed to read the text in addition to his notes to fully understand the material. Would take him again!

I can't even begin to explain how amazing Professor Beaulieu is.. He is by far the BEST MATH TEACHER AT BROWARD COLLEGE! I have not taken a math class since elementury school other than my GED school ofcourse. I took Paul for 0018 and mac 1105 so yes I tried several other teachers but Paul was by far the best!!! He is very honest he'll tell you like it is no cherries, no iceing! All I can say is LISTEN cause he means what he says and says what he means. Work hard & you will pass! Mac 1105 is not easy at all & thanks to Paul business calc should be easy since I mastered 1105. Don't take the easy way out Paul will make sure you leave knowing your stuff no question about it & you'll appreciate him like no other once you get to know him. He cares about his students and will not tolerate students disrespecting eachother. He treats people with respect! Most caring Professor I have ever met! Once you have him you won't want anyone else!!! I'll never forget you Paul you made a difference!

I took Paul for 0018, mac 1105 & stats. I could not have done stats on my first try without him. It was a difficult class but I studied daily and took notes every class. Don't ever miss a class & tests are based on class work so study the class work!!!!! He is by far the best teacher at broward college & most caring respectful person I have ever met! He is not shady ask a question & he will tell you straight up! Do your work don't slack & you will pass!

Prof Beaulieu is excellent. He just gave us 8 quizzes and 4 test, final replace the lower grade. Also, if you do hw in mylabsplus, he gives u credit for that. He explain very well, he is funny and he help you to understand stats. He also left you use the formulas and tables during exam. You don't have to memorize anything.

I saw some comments that did not give good credit to Mr. Beaulieu. However, the professor explain very well the course. A little bit faster so you have to pay attention. Statistics is not a common sense course, you need to study. So do not blame the proffesor if you do not have time to study. I really enjoy his class full of real exercises.

Amazing professor...I normally have trouble comprehending and solving math problems, but professor B, was clear on the types of problems that would be on his tests and quizzes. Don't miss a day of class because math is sometimes difficult understanding the first time and he goes over about two to three lessons a day.

Difficult subject and He is tough. That being said, He gives extra credit for doing mylabsplus, and he will give partial credit on tests if you show work. He moves quickly, but will take time answer questions during office hours. He is passonate about the subject, but his class is not the easy way out. Overall good teacher.

He's a tough grader, although he does give half credit. The half credit isn't always beneficial because he'll also take off points if you don't show work for problems you can solve in your head. He does give extra credit for my labs plus though and neither the book nor my labs plus is mandatory but you'll need one or the other to pass.

He's a great professor. Listens if you need a little extra help and makes sure you understand the material.

For a math class he is an amazing professor, first professor in my life that was clear and made hard formulas and concepts easy to grasp. Would take again for sure.

This class wasn't easy, I just worked hard for my A. He does give you the tools you need it just takes effort. Do the math labs for xtra credit! Then go back and do them again before any quiz and exams. Study the material as you go so you don't get behind. He is a fair grader and wil give partial credit. Don't miss class for your sake!

I took Paul for all my math classes from elementary to stats. His class is not an but I stuck with him because he's really good and clear on grading you don't get any guessing games with him he tells you like it is plain and simple! Follow instructions and you will pass! I passed stats my first try some people take it 2-3 times I hear.

Professor Beaulieu is a really great guy. He's funny and willing to ask any questions. During his lecture he has multiple examples and he definitely knows his stuff. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking into taking STA2023.

Professor Beaulieu makes it very easy to understand math and he's willing to go over every questions. Do your ALEKS. Do your class work. He grades fairly. I recommend Professor Beaulieu to anyone. He is a wonderful math teacher !!!

Prof. Beaulieu is an amazing math professor. This is my second time taking statistics (first time with this prof.) I miserably failed the first time but prof. Beaulieu made it very easy to understand. He provided so many examples and is very good at explaining math. He's also a funny guy and you can tell he's passionate about teaching.

Wonderful professor. His provided examples make it easier to understand the material. Write EVERYTHING he writes on the board in your notes. Definitions, examples, etc. Everything. Study that for the tests and you'll be golden. One of the best professors I have ever taken. Easy to pay attention as he is fully engaged and enthusiastic!

The first days of class i was nervous at first because this was my first teacher at bc and that being of a math class can be overwhelming. there was tons of work to do. but to be honest past the overwhenlming part of this class was one of the best college algibra classes ive had. ive taken all maths and physics in college and this guy gets it ....!

Professor Paul has one of the most energetic teaching methods I have ever seen. Not only was the assignments difficult but they were persistent. Although, I was completely receptive to the topics of MAT1033, my ability to retain the knowledge was tested relentlessly. I commend Professor Paul on his work ethic and applaud him on his patience...

Doesnt record class online so if your sick u fall behind to fast. If u dont understand math easy its confusing. Doesnt check email. Doesnt let you make up a test if your sick.
