if you need to take a math class, for the love of god take it with this guy! i'm attending SVSU right now and none of the math teachers here even come close to how good bedard is. he is the man!

Awesome. I didn't believe I was doing pre-calc, he made it that easy. He's pretty dorky, but he's such a nice guy and you can tell that he loves math.

I am horrible at math, but Mr. Bedard made it a lot easier for me to understand. Seriously, if you want to actually understand what you're doing, take his classes.

if you want to learn calc and not worry about your grade then this is the teacher for you. very easy, very clear, very knowledgable...the dude will do differiatials in his head that takes us a page of work to do! hes nuts

Proffesor Bedard is an awesome teacher. He is extrememly helpful, a fair grader, and a cool person. His classes made hard material easy to learn. Anyone who has a chance should take his class!

Anyone who can enjoy math as much as this guy should be a good teacher. And he is. While it seemed once in the class I had with him he was helping someone more than he should've he was always excited about what he was teaching and taught it well.

He's a great teacher and teaches very well. His stories that have nothing to do with math though, and kinda creepy and weird.. he's a big nerd, but he still can teach ya well.

Possibly the best teacher I've ever had. He is really good at working with students on an individual level and adds appropriate humor to the classroom with stories that are very interesting; the other review is incorrect in that regard. Although the material is not the easiest he makes sure that everyone is where they need to be. A++ professor!

Professor Bedard is an extremely intelligent teacher and very helpful.

Mr. Bedard is a great teacher who can always articulate the usefulness of math. He has great enthusiasm and is able to break a problem down in terms that a non-mathleate can understand. He does most of his teaching when students ask questions from the homework instead of at the introduction of a new section. Which helps out tremdously!

he makes a hard class easy! really cool and funny. i didnt even test into the class but i got a note and worked to get an A. if you go to class, listen, then you should get at least a B no problem just put forth a little effort hes the best

Mr. Bedard is a great asset to SC4. I was told before I even signed up for the class that he was the professor to get for this class and they were all right! He goes through all of the problems with you on the board, gives you a practice exam and then the real exam. I am taking another statistics class now and wish Bedard could take over :)

Math is my worst subject and Mr. Bedard has helped me so much. He is a fantastic teacher and has a great sense of humor. I have never done so well in a math class. I would recommend Paul Bedard to anyone at SC4. He is awesome! :)

He is so funny and makes a math class as fun as possible, but his calculus class is very difficult if you have no prior experience with it. He does not give an A for effort that's for sure!

By far my favorite teacher at sc4! I had him for statistics as well as calculus. He is hilarious, and very helpful. He made math fun and kept me interested. He's also super adorable! Haha I highly recommend him!

Mr. Paul Bedard is a hilarious professor who has a good sense of humor. He is very intelligent and knows about the history of mathematics. He loves math. He provides a practice test before the real test and goes over it, which helps the student know exactly what is going to be on the test. Students do not have to do the homework, but should.

He is my favorite teacher at sc4. I had him straight for my two years here. He is a good teacher who will help you when ever you need. He gives pop homework quizes but as long as you do your homework you will be fine. His class goes by quickly and I feel like everyone should have him for a teacher. He is the type of teacher that leaves an impact.

Professor Bedard's class is a very fun class to be in. His homework is optional, but he does do random quizzes on the homework. The quizzes are really easy if you do the homework, same for the tests. I definitely recommend Professor Bedard.

He gives stickers for extra credit if you participate! He complains about not having any chili peppers on this site so I GAVE ONE! LOL I would take him again though, he's a great professor. He made what was supposed to be a difficult class seem easy.

Paul Bedard is a nice professor that generally cares about the students in his classes. He doesn't grade homework, has homework quizzes (problems from the assignments) every day in class. He talks not only about Calc, but about the history of calc. Sidetracked easily. Teaches at a slower pace, good luck with calc 2 anywhere else.

Paul is the most caring professor I think I have ever had. He is such an amazing person. I am not very good in math, however he is ALWAYS there to help, before, during and after class. I would recommend Paul to anyone, 10 times over.

Paul Bedard is by far my most favorite SC4 instructor. This class is a fairly easy A. Make sure you do your assignments because he allows you to use your homework on the quizes. (The quizes are directly from your homework)! He gives study guides and then goes over exactly how to do them for the test. Definitely recommend taking this class!

Best word to describe Paul: AMAZING. By far the best math professor I've had. Easiest math class I've ever taken. He lets you use all handouts and worksheets on your tests, even the final. The class was different than any other one I've taken. He cares about his students and will work with you. Would definitely take him again.

Great guy but if you are in a course where everyone has had him for more than one semester he gets very attached and sometimes more play is done than work. He doesn't grade homework but does homework quizzes. Differential equations class was pretty fun :D

Great professor, genuinely wants his students to pass and gives plenty of opportunities to earn extra credit. Hes hilarious, every class is like a comedy show! Gets off topic sometimes but always teaches us what we need to know with clarity and eagerness.

Let me start by saying that Bedard is one of the funniest professors that Ive ever had. He never failed to keep classes interesting. He also gave out A LOT of extra credit. Hes close to retirement, so definitely take him while you can! One of the best math teachers Ive had.

I have struggled with my previous math courses tremendously so I was very nervous to head into my last one, Math 104. However, Professor Bedard is very laidback and approachable. The homework is very easy, and you are allowed to use all of your notes and worksheets on the tests/quizzes as well which helps a lot! Take him while you have the chance!

I never enjoyed a math class, but Professor Bedard has changed that. He is genuinely kind and compassionate and is passionate about his work. His stories and jokes are what makes class entertaining and not a snooze, he explains things clearly and has no problem going over something multiple times until you understand. I highly recommend his class.

Mr. Bedard is definitely a unique character, but he is hilarious and very tolerable and kind. The quizzes are all open note and the easiest tests you'll ever take! Assignments take maybe 10 minutes. No brain power required! Makes math fun and easy! If I had to take another math class he would be my top choice!

Mr. Bedard is very helpful when you need help and is very understanding! The class work was very straight forward and his work layout was not confusing at all! Any help that I needed he helped me very well with and I 100% recommend Mr. Bedard!

This class is 80% using a calculator, 10% vocabulary, and 10% mental math. Prof. Bedard offers TONS of extra credit, and I ended with over 100% in the course, and I didn't even take advantage of about 20 points of it! I only put 4.0 because I feel that I learned how to use a calculator, not necessarily math, although we make two studies in class.

Professor Bedard was so amazing!!!! Ive never been good at math, let alone statistics, so this class was definitely tough for me. Nevertheless, Bedard helped me throughout the whole semester. His office hours are at great times, he gives good feedback and is incredibly reliable when it comes to needing some extra help. Super amazing class!

Prof Bedard was super helpful with assignments and would allow us to fix assignments and give back full credit. A lot of extra credit opportunities and if you watch the lectures the homework and quizzes are easy. Exams were easy if you paid attention and did well on quizzes. I wish he taught all of my math classes. Wants his students to do well!

Professor Bedard is truly one of the best professors I have ever had at SC4. He's always available for help and he's very caring towards his students. I have never gotten an A in math before, but his lectures are extremely straight-forward. There is quizzes every week but they're very helpful. I recommend him to anyone who needs a math credit. :)

If every math teacher actually cared about the actual meaning behind math like Bedard does, the United States would be a leader in the world for mathematics. He doesn't care so much for memorizing formulas as he does actually making sure you understand what's going on with them. This guy deserves tenure if he doesn't already have it.

Best professor I've had at SC4.

Always ask questions and dont be intimidated by his quick math processes. He has a good heart and always tries to help in any way. Go to office hours, do the practice problems, and constantly ask/participate in class.

Absolute best professor I have ever taken in college so far. He really cares that his students do well. His lectures are amazing and very thorough. He lets you retake quizzes and assignments two to three times and gives random extra credit points here and there. I was worried stats would be hard but he made it great!

Even though I took this course online Prof Bedard had office hours and was always willing to take as long as you needed to help you understand a concept. I also like that he incorporated movies into the class that helped with some of the concepts that were covered.

Prof Bedard is the backbone to the SC4 Mathematics Dept. Down to earth guy, demonstrates his love for math, and deeply cares about the student's success. If you've made it this far, Bedard won't let you fail. Although, you must put in the effort and have a willingness to learn. Online math can be tricky at times but utilize prof & other classmates!
