Professor Bounds is a WONDERFUL instructor! I was not looking forward to taking this class at all, but Mr. Bounds made the course so interesting that the time flew by. The topics we discussed were very interesting and he couldn't be more reasonable with his grading- providing plenty of make up assignments. No reason not to get an A!

IF YOU HATE ENGLISH then TAKE THIS GUY!! He's fantastic! He has a really great sense of humor which helps in a boring class, howeve, he reads the poetry like an actor which makes it amusing. He helps students all he can and gives credit where credit is due! You will be happy you took him.

Best teacher ever! Very engaging, gives great insight into all the reading material. Every class was interesting, and he's very open-minded about everyone's opinions. ok so at first i thought he would be a difficult teacher and very demanding but hes very funny, helpful and gives you chances to make extra points. i took him for a summer semester. got a B you do have to try but he makes it interenting! recomend you take this guy(:

He is a bit weird. But keeps the class engaged for such a boring subject. I do recommend him, he gives essay assignments ahead of time but he is a tough grader, so keep that in mind. If I had to take another eng class I would probably pick another professor though.

He is a very good professor, he tells you what you need to know for every test, he lets you rewrite ALL of your papers exept the final paper but you learn from your mistakes so the final paper is not very hard. he is so funny and really cares about his class, and he also provides extra credit! TAKE HIM!!!!!!

Mr. Bounds is the best English teacher I have ever taken. He teaches very well. After grading essays, he gives the students a chance to revise them, and turn them back in for a better grade. He, also, gives extra credit on tests. Easy A class

Great professor, the man knows what he's talking about and explains everything clearly. Not the easiest professor out there, but as long as you go to class and absorb the information, you'll be fine. His tests are a little tricky, but he'll explain everything you and actually teach you from your mistakes. Highly recommend!

Wonderful professor. He was sooo clear - every lecture was in the same format, and it was easy to follow him. His lectures were basically the tests. He lets you re-do your first and second papers if you turn them in on time. you can get 100 points on your papers if you fix the mistakes. He is so great. I'm definitely taking him next semester.

He is the BEST ENGLISH teacher I had ever had!! He is not only kind, but EXTREMELY knowledgable! He lets you revise your papers for a better grade after he grades them the 1st time and hands them back to you. Plenty of Extra Credits and Reviews before each test! HE IS JUST EXTRAORDINARY AWESOME!!

So many extra credit opportunities! You do need to someone stay on top of your work in this class but he is very helpful. He let's you revise every paper that you turn in. He he tells you everything you need to fix to make an A.

Taking this class was the best choice I've ever made in college. When I finished this class I left with more than a basic understanding of English- I had a stronger awareness about life and myself. If you put in the effort & show up ready to learn, this will be one of the easiest courses you'll ever take. Do yourself a favor & take this class.

Loved Prof Bounds! He is very understanding which makes him very easy to approach with questions, comments, concerns. Five tests, lowest grade dropped. If you do good on the first four you do not need to take the final. Four papers, one is a work cited. PLENTY of extra credit opportunities. Do as many as you can. And if you want to pass make sure you READ.

Professor Bounds class was the best. He is very funny and makes the lectures relatable to us. For a summer class it was obviously quick paced but he never made it feel like we were cramming. His tests are open note so take good notes&read lot but you get EC if you volunteer. for essays he gives a deadline&then you can turn it in for a higher grade

Professor Bounds was an amazing professor. I struggled with English my whole life and I walked away from this class with an A. He assigns four papers and he edits the first two then he returns them and you can make the changes for a higher grade. The test are OER but you come to class knowing 510 of the questions. YOU MUST DO THE WORK THOUGH.

I took Mr. Bounds for a five-week mini. He offers each paper to be redone after you turn it in. He will go over what you did wrong and how to fix it. There is some reading so get the book. DO the extra credit I had a low B before the extra credit and with it i got an A. Extra credit is usually talking in class and presenting your opinion.

i love this professor so much he actually taught me how to write papers accurately. i have learned so much from him he really captivates the class. im taking him for English 2 and humanities next semester

Just finished his final and boy am I going to miss this class. Professor Bounds was always in a smile this semester he made the topics interesting. He was very up front about test reviews and how he would grade. I was scared about taking Humanities but I learned so much. Would take again.

He is nice and offers extra credits for students who actually do the works. His lecture was fun and interesting.

This is the second class I've taken Bounds for, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get into it, I'd absolutely reccomend him to anyone who is even remotely enjoys Humanities/English, the dude knows so much and want to share it with you. Put in work, and it's an easy easy pass

great professor, really cares about you passing and its easy as long as you participate and actually try. pretty easy class, you do have about 2 stories to read every night (I took the 8 week class) and really need to know the material for class. he gives a bunch of options for extra points on tests and has an extra credit opportunity.

Take his class!!! So many extra credit chances. Drops lowest test grade including final. 5 tests. 4 papers. Revision on first two papers. You must read to survive. Please take his class to make your life easier. Open ended tests 10 questions. Test review made the class before the test day. 5 questions on the 10 question review are on the test.

took in a 3 week mini. was so worth it! great guy. makes things interesting and gives so much extra credit! uses movies as assignments. loved it. he made the mini course painless. take him!! lots of reading assignments but they're interesting and he goes over them. not hard at all.

awesome great professor read your syabllus and read your essays are whatever you will be doing and you will pass the test the test are short essay questions 3 or 5 sentences

Prof Bounds is amazing. His lectures are funny and interesting. He does give out a lot of reading assignments, but its not hard. He gives rubrics for each paper. It's sometimes hard to decipher what he means on the rubric. The reviews for each test and he uses questions directly from the review on the test. I have gotten over 100's on his tests.

The only book we needed was, "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman. We read the book through the semester and talked about it every week. This was such a fun class! Mr. Bounds is very down to earth and the more you participate in class, the more you'll get out of it! I've already signed up to take English with PB.

Professor Bounds happens to be one of the best professors that I have had so far. He's hilarious and really knows his material. If you ever get stuck on something he is there to help you. He gives lots of extra credit opportunities. As long as you read his material and pay attention and show up to class you will pass.

Professor Bounds was great! He was extremely funny, made class interesting, and taught us some cool stuff. Prof Bounds was amazing. Hes very smart,funny, and makes class interesting. He makes you use critical thinking. Reading is required to pass this class. This class consisted of 3 Tests (very easy) plus he adds any extra credit obtained to them. 3 essays (essays can be a bit hard)which he gives rubrics and lets you revise for a final grade.

He is an EXCELLENT professor. I took him for the winter mini and though it was a lot of work it was really worth it imo. 3 weeks, 3 papers, 3 tests. The final isn't comprehensive. If you turn in your papers on time you get the option of redoing them for a better grade. I got an A. SO happy with this class.

I took Professor Bounds for the holiday mini. The class was condensed but everything fell into place and he made sure we were all clear of what to expect, so no surprises. One essay due for every week but he gives chances to revise if turned in on time. He is a very charismatic teacher, lectures were never boring, and he encourages participation.

Overall an amazing professor. 3 papers and 3 tests. Although he does not use a textbook, he'll assign readings to read before class and discuss them in class. I took this class in a mini. 3 essay and the 3 tests and if you turn in your essay on time, hell give you a conference for revision and tell you what to fix! Hes an awesome professor

A rare one of those perfect professors. Allowed us to turn in our papers a week early to review them. hed give one on one feedback and allow us to fix it up before turning it in for grading. There is some group work, but nothing scary- no big presentations or having to meet classmates outside of class.

At first I was a little worried because of the lack of assignments given. There are two tests and two papers, opportunity for extra credit throughout the course. Is straight to the point and also very lighthearted and funny. He made this class very enjoyable and was always in such a positive mood. He replys to emails quick. Take him for Humanities

Professor Bounds is by far the best English teacher I've had. He is passionate and very knowledgeable about English, to include randomly quoting poems and stories in other languages :O. I always enjoyed his lectures as well as his humor. He gives opportunities for extra credit which helps a lot if you struggle with English. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite professors! very funny, passionate, intelligent. Took him for English 1 and 2. lots of reading but they are mainly short stories. He lets you correct your essays after he lets you know what you should fix. If you are shy no need to worry, there are no presentations and he won't make you read or speak aloud if you don't want to!

BEST English teacher Ive ever had. His humor made the hour and 25 minute classes feel like a breeze. As long as you read the readings youll be fine on the test (They are straight to the point!). The readings are not the usual boring classical readings like other English classes.

He keeps his class simple and balanced. There will be a lot of readings throughout the semester but they are interesting and some very easy. He will provide many extra credit opportunities which gives a boost to your grade at the end (don't ignore them). He gives feedback on the assignments you submit so that you can correct and re submit it.

He gives extra credit if you read the story and write the cpave on the board (u will learn what that is), his test are fairly easy. he kinda gives u the answers during the lecture. and if u turn in the essays on time he let's u correct them. Bounds class was an absolute breeeze! I wish I had him for both ENGL but was glad I was able to experience him for my second semester. I did this class for a full semester even though I am typically good at writing essays; speaking of, we have 3 essays/tests while also having class lectures. He definitely makes the lectures fun by cracking jokes!

He makes you read about 3 shorts stories every week ish in which you will discuss in class. these discussions are important as they will help you when you write your essays. pretty easy. for test u have to read a stories and write about it in that class period. I liked it but make sure you don't procrastinate. a lot of extra credit.

Professor Bounds was such a great teacher. His class was very laidback. WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. I loved how he gave second chances after a conference on all papers and although the class was easy, i still learned a lot.

Professor Bounds is by far my absolute favorite instructor I've ever had throughout my education. That man is knowledgeable, passionate, and very caring and flexible. He really wants you to do the best and as long as you follow his directions and do the readings and writings, you'll pass with flying colors.

You can tell professor Bounds loves his work and really cares for the students. I've taken 3 of his classes- both online and in person, and have had a great experience every time. The readings and class discussions were always super interesting and really make you think. Chose him as your professor- you will learn so much in his class!

His papers are not too difficult; he gives the whole semester to fix any issues with them, and his tests are very easy as long as you pay attention in class. 10/10

he was pretty cool n made class interesting. had to read stories for homework but not really lol but if you did and participated in showing you did you would get extra credit. theres only 3 tests and 3 papers. papers arent graded by length but on how well you went by the rubric. makes you add 1 extra source and 1 extra reading for full credit.

The most interesting English class I've ever been in! He handpicks readings from the textbook and they all have an overarching theme which makes it engaging to read. There are three essays which are pretty simple to pass if you go above and beyond the average. There are four exams where the lowest grade of the four is dropped. Good class!

Professor Bounds is great. His lectures are interesting and informative, which makes the class all the more enjoyable. The class mainly consists of three papers and three tests. The papers are pretty straight forward, but tests are done in class and are written on paper as long as you pay attention you will be fine on the tests. Overall great class

absolutely loved this prof and his class. You get a lot of extra credit opportunities, open note tests, and daily discussions which are all useful to the tests and essays. He grades tough, but if assignments are turned in on time you will have the opportunity to revise it for a grade up to a 100.

Really good professor and grades at college level, very fair grader and gives you lots of chances to correct your papers for revision and helps you with them before final grade. tests are easy if your paying attention and try in the class. lots of reading but that's expected. show up and do all the extra credit and you get an A. professor Bounds is a great professor! there is somewhat a lot of reading but nothing too bad. the tests aren't hard as long as you read the readings! also take notes and do the extra credit! i think his grading is fair, he literally tells you how to pass his class!
