He is the worst professor I have ever had. Every assignment has to be picture perfect in order to receive an A. He genuinely does not realize how much time and effort students spend on his 10 assignments assigned every week. I cannot stand him. Never take him.

do not take Dr. Corrigan as an english professor. Nice guy but an absolutely awful teacher. assignments every night worth one point each and then surprises everyone with big assignments to drop their grade at the end of the semester. DO NOT take him.

Dr. Corrigan is a sweet professor but if you want an easy class don't take this. You spend the whole semester on a research project which will make your grade. All the homework assignments are lengthy but only worth 1 point. He barely gives feedback and expects perfect work. He makes you feel like a bad writer and wish I dropped sooner.

If you want to feel stressed out every time you have his class, take him. I've done more work for this one class than my other 3, and still have the worst grade in his. Feedback does not explain what you did wrong and he expects perfect work. If your work isn't perfect, you most likely won't get any credit. If you happen to have him, good luck...

Dr Corrigan is by far the most difficult professor/teacher I've had in my entire life. Your work needs to be perfectly critiqued to this guys standards or else it's an automatic zero. You'll have homework every class and there's never a dull moment in this class. Take the course with another professor for your own sake.

Dr. Corrigan is an extremely difficult professor. Homework every class and will often give you a zero if it is not done exactly to his liking, which is hard to do, and instructions can be vague. Extremely tough grader. I have never gotten below an A- in a class until his class. Please choose another professor. Peace.

this teacher grades harshly and if you don't do your work perfectly you will automatically fail. he gives a lot of work and grades harsh on every assignment so if you don't write to his particular style it is very hard to pass the class. I'd rather watch paint dry than sit in Dr. Corrigan's AWR-101 class. Dr. Corrigan also seems to enjoy being as difficult as possible when it comes to grading and when his students are in need of help. Drop his class while you can.

Worst teacher ever, drop ASAP. Grading rubric is unfair as he grades essays on 20 point increments. It'll ruin your grade even if you're smart. I took 10 AP classes in HS and no teacher ever graded as strict and unfair as he did. He's a stuck up professor and seems to enjoy over-scrutinizing kids essays in his free time.

Professor Corrigan's AWR class is a walking L. There's too much homework and he's way to strict on his grading scale.

Dr. Corrigan will assume absolutely everything you write is AI with no basis for doing so. His grading scale consists of very few points, so even a few deductions will cost your GPA. He is incredibly homework heavy and you will not receive an A if you do not write exactly the way he does. Horrible professor, should be fired, DO NOT TAKE.

Please do not take Mr. Corrigan. He accused me of using AI and made me do a Zoom meeting with him about it then gave me no points on my work. I couldn't complete my other assignments until this daily writing was approved, so then he gave me 0's for "late work" that HE made late. I am practically failing because of him. He does not teach at all.

This class is EXTREMELY difficult, and you have to teach yourself everything. He expects you to write exactly how he wants but if you write well, he will accuse you of using Ai. There are only 100 total points, and every single point is from homework that he over-assigns. He gets pleasure out of failing his students and will not let you do well.

DO NOT TAKE HIM!! he only wants you to write a certain way and thinks there's no other way of writing besides how he does. The first 2 essays are fairly easy and the last 2 he grades HORRIBLY. He does not care about his students and if they fail out. He assigns HW every single class and it's so much busy work. I wouldn't take him at all.

Paul Corrigan is the worst professor I've ever had, hands down. He is so obsessed with AI that he always causes you every time you submit something, making you wonder if this guy even has a real life. He is so self-centered and wants everything exactly how he wants, or it's a big fat 0. If you're thinking about this class, don't take it.

WORST PROF EVER. Literally please run far away and don't take him. He wants everything to be his way or it's wrong. If you don't have his writing style he will fail you. he doesn't care if you want to do redo anything/ try your best to get a good grade. he ultimately doesn't care about his students at all and what grade you end with.

I am writing this review to save any of you who are thinking about taking this professor. You could be the best writer ever yet he will still find a reason to criticize your work and give you a bad grade on it just because he simply doesn't like the way you said something or just doesn't agree on it. Very hard grader, if you don't do the assignment perfectly, he gives you a 0. He lets you redo essays but will still give you a bad grade.

This class is so boring it should come with a warning label. Any positive reviews must be written by Dr. Corrigan himself because, no offense, but not a single student would have ever written anything like that about him. Yea you can "pick" your essay topic, but he has to approve it and he doesn't usually like your ideas. Also, he has not let me revise a single assignment/essay the entire semester so idk why he makes it seem like you can. he gave a lot of false hope then switched up on everyone for the last 2 projects, that are worth like half the course points.

I received a 40% on the biggest assignment of the course, and when I brought it up to him, he gave no feedback for this grade despite my asking. He refused to have a meeting with me about this and then ghosted me for four days and only answered because I had to meet with the department chair. I, too, got accused of AI a few weeks ago for no reason.

I had an A for like 80% of the semester then on the last 2 essays he gave me a 0 even though I did them completely and turned them in on time and then when I met with him he told me I could revise the essays for credit to where he made me completely redo both of them and then gave me 50s on both.

This was hands down the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. He doesn't communicate and when he does it sounds like a 5 year old when you take something away from them. Always thinks your using chat gpt

He gave almost all the kids in my class 0 on our last project that was a week before grades were due. I had a 1-on-1 talk with him about my grade to get it back up and he said it could go back to a B and he said yes then I ended with a C.
