Please don't take any class with this man. He is unclear when he teaches and offers little to no help with anything. He drops no tests and makes them all hard plus that he stutters when he talks and really has no good points to make. He is the biggest loser you will ever see its pretty embarassing actually I feel sorry for him.
His tests compose of 4-5 parts, at 100 points. If you get wrong question wrong thats a max of about 80% on your exam. Easy to fail if you don't KNOW all material. No dropped TESTS. But the great thing about it is that his tests only compose of questions xeroxed from the book. And he reminds us of Peter Griffin on FAMILY GUY & has funny lame jokes
Get him now! Such a dorky/cute teacher! haha even his jokes are dorky, and it makes the class so amusing! he is very respectful and always asks to make sure people understand. his teaching is very clear and he always covers whats ganna be on the test. hard class but he makes it as easy as possible, and you still learn a lot:)
Lazy teacher. always reading from the book and overhead projector. Have extremely CORNY jokes. HELPFUL but HARD to understand. DON'T ever take CLASS with HIM. STAY AWAY.
Dr. Duty is a great teacher. He is very available to help during office hours and will take time to explain everything. He is fair in his test giving but he is detailed in taking points off on tests (he's a stickler for details and interpretations). Class is interesting and relevant. I'd easily take another course from him.
duty is the far most the best statistic teacher ever, hes willing to help at all times and he's a very kind person. altho his class isnt easy, you must work hard and you will get what you deserve, if you feel that you didnt deserve the test grade he's flexable with changing it around a little after talking to you.
Don't recommend anyone to take his class!!
Dr. Duty is the perfect example of what a math teacher should be. He is very well read on the subject of math and because of this can teach the class with relative ease. He teaches problems by doing them with the class. There is no mandatory homework, but if you do the hw you will be prepared for the test. Best math teacher ever.
Great teacher! IMO, if you are not interested in math don't take it. Otherwise, you'll enjoy the semester with this proff. Have never taken any 100-level courses with him.
his great! very helpful if u do the hw, u'll do great on the test. some of the hw ques are on test. if work little hard u'll difinatly do well. his grading is fair. just take him u'll learn a lot. he is amazing. "simple man but deals with complex stuff," his famous quote. haha
This guy is a phenomenal teacher. He makes sure you understand before going ahead. Very fair with testing.
Best professor I've had at this MC campus. He explains things well and his tests are fair. Is pleasant and respectful to students.
Dr.Duty is the best stat teacher ever. He goes through everything slowly so you will understand. He makes the class fun by using real life examples. He is the best math teacher I have taken in my life
This guy is funny. Linear Algebra is a tough subject, but his clarity makes it easier. My only complaint is that the final exam was far more ****ulative than what he suggested, since my class did not have a last chapter test. He uses the book CONSTANTLY and will discuss anything unclear willingly. He will stay way beyond office hours to help.
Dr.Duty is such a wonderful teacher. Take him! His jokes are funny and help you understand math. He is the best teacher I have ever taken. He mkaes sure everyone understands. I got an A in his class. He is the best!
Horrible teacher. Taught way too fast, we were ahead of all the other 182 (Calc 2) classes. When we asked him why, he had no answer but said he felt sorry for other classes because they'd have to catch up. We were already 75% done, other classes were 50% done w/ the material. Insane. I did the work and still had to drop, so did 30~40% of my class.
He is a very good teacher, he is willing to help out students who need extra help. he makes a lot of jokes, most of which are somewhat funny. overall good teacher.
Really nice guy, makes statistics easy, knows what he's talking about. Exams aren't bad at all; just do the homework. He doesn't collect homework, so you can wait till before an exam to study up. He's also chill about lateness.
He subbed for my other Stat. teacher for a day, and I felt like I learned more from him than from my other teacher. He showed us how to use the calculator for solving problems and explains the material so you don't have to read as much. Highly recommended.
The comments about not taking his class-->completey false. If you are lazy and do not do your homework, then go back to high school. But believe me,wasnt interested at all in taking ma116, until I got my first A. He makes it easy and fun. Wonderful teacher, wished he taught all my classes. You wont regret him.Once again- do the work-u got an A
You can tell that he knows very well the material, but cannot explain why it works. He would rather give you and example and have you learn from it. Test wise the qust. are straight from the HW, and if you skip a step he takes a -1 so you can remember for next time to not repeat the same "mistake". You wanna learn math, take with Franklin, rockville
Im taking stat now..he always makes jokes, hes pretty corny. Tests..not that great i never got an A yet because he actually takes off points if you miss like a word in an "interpretation." Hes very helpful though and wont go on if you dont understand something. I would recommend him though
prof duty is a hilarious guy. he makes the sillyest jokes and will always keep you laughing. his tests are not hard if you do the hw and understand the material. he does grade a bit anally. i do recommand him as a stat teacher
He is VERY nice and helpful. Is willing to work with u. Tests are fair, and his teaching and notees is very clear. I would highly recomend him!
Great teacher but definitely not easy. Rather strict about minor mistakes on tests but they make you try that much harder. If you expect to take an easy math course, stay away from him. If you want to learn the material, I highly recommend him.
Don't take this class. You only have 4 exams, no quizzes. He doesn't go over the homework well. Whoever gave him good rating is whack. The class average for the first 2 tests were Ds! Awful professor.
Maybe this is a useful professor for stat., but for my Calc 2 class, he just made an already hard class into such a pain! Warning: VERY hard grader, can mess up GPA. More than half of my class dropped. His jokes are cute, and he is genuinely on the side of the students, but unless he changes his methods of calculating grades, I'd stay away.
Grade based on 5 exams, no quizzes. It is hard to follow his teaching style. He expects you to learn everything from the book. The class average on the first 2 tests were Ds. I dropped his class and I don't recommend him at all.
UGH he has got to be the WORST professor I've ever taken. His exams aren't hard, it's his grading that's hard. He WILL take points off for LITTLE mistakes and grammatical errors so make sure you're english is good and so is your math skills. I would NOT recommend him unless you're a nerd that spends 100000000+ hours doing math problems each night.
I don't know why he's gotten bad reviews. I thought he went TOO slow with his lectures. He always paces his class to the slowest learner which bored me to death. He uses real life examples and compares them to statistics. I'm naturally good at math, but never did homework once and got a 88%. Only complaint is that he would not round my grade up.
I've taken AP statistic in HS and received an A. took stat in a diff college but grades did not get transferred ...got an A. took his class. FAILED. why? because he wants u to round ur answer a certain way, write ur answer a certain way and if u dont, FAILED test even if ur answer is correct. now that just doesnt make any ****en sense
I hate him. He takes a ton off points for small mistakes on tests and I'm not over exaggerating. I've compared his test with my sister's tests. He will mark a problem wrong if you don't solve it the way he wants you to do. He is really unclear about what he wants to see on a test, and he won't tell you what he will take points off for.
I'm not a math person at all, and I struggled at first because I didn't do the homework. Dr. Duty really cares about his students, so if you go to see him he'll put things in a way you'll understand. The class is only based on tests, but if you do the homework and see him for help, you should do well. He has a cute sense of humor too. Nice guy.
he goes so fast that we finish 2 chapters in one day, he does give online quizzes which are very helpful to practice for the in class tests but rather than that i DONT RECOMMEND his class for anybody
Dr. Duty is quirky but genuinely tries to get everybody to understand the details of Stats. He is picky on exams but I can see why (most of the time)he wants conclusions/interpretations in a certain way. You definitely have to do the online quizes and HW to make sure you know what he's looking for. He is willing to meet for extra help - do this.
HORRIBLE PROFESSOR THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. I KNOW A LOT OF STUDENTS WHO DROPPED HIS CLASS BECAUSE HE DOESN'T EXPLAIN IN DETAIL AND HE'S TERRIBLE ON HIS TEST GRADING HE DOESN'T DROP ANY TEST. NOT DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED !
He's a good professor. He likes to teach using MANY examples. He also helps with homework, as long as you complete it on time. If you do your homework, it prepares you for the exams. That being said, he grades kinda hard..and takes off a lot of points for small mistakes, but that makes you kinda try harder. And, I pulled of an A!
Just do the homework, use the SOLUTIONS MANUAL to clarify things for you or to check yourself! You should be fine. Oh and be VERY careful with your work, he WILL take points off. Correct your SMALL mistake.
Grades extremely picky on tests. Does not teach the material well. He's funny and you must complete the online quizzes. their fairly easy. All in all try not to take his class unless its your last option.
Dr. Duty goes out of his way to help his students. He is very clear and will say exactly what he means to say. He is incredibly respectful towards his students, even when they don't deserve it. If you're having trouble with this class, go to office hours.
Boring
Dr. Duty is probably the worst "professor" I have ever had. We literally spend an hour doing an example problem every day before going into what he actually wanted to "teach" us for the day. Save the money, you'd be better trying to learn it from someone who speaks Greek, really this man is a terrible teacher. Avoid like the plague.
He has got to be the worst prof. alive. Spends an hour doing an easy example and doesn't even explain what means what and why it's that. He loves taking points off randomly and expects you to read his mind. Spends quite a lot of class time making jokes and watching videos, but then tells you the class is supposed to be hard when you complain.
One of the best professors at MC. Grades tough on exams (takes of points for missing steps). Highly recommend if math is not your best subject.
Dr. Duty is a really good teacher. He tells corny jokes and he covers th material extensively. Do the homework and ask questions, and you'll be fine. Also, go to every class. I missed two and fell behind for the entire semester.
really nice guy tries to tell jokes. will explain if you ask questions. a little bit of a push over but overall i would take him again
I really liked professor Duty but the online homework was something you need to keep up with and there were assignments due almost everyday. He also assigned homework on the weekend. He was a really nice teacher though and made pretty corny jokes. He also was available anytime if you needed help and wanted you to succeed in statistics.
Dr. Duty is a good professor however it up to you how well you're going to do in the class. The online homework gets really old after the first couple weeks but he covers just about everything you need to know in class and always shows examples. Laugh at his jokes and you'll be fine. JK he's a good professor
Doesn't have a clue about the material covered. He tells horrible not-funny jokes and takes off points for missing a dot. Do yourself a favor and dont take him
Very very nice teacher!! Loved him and he's extremely nice and helped me a lot. Honestly I feel like he focused on me and my work and I was special. Definitely recommend him!
DO NOT TAKE HIS CALC 2 CLASS! If you go Dr.Day, he will say that also,if your Calc 2 is a gateway course to another college, dont take his, if you are fine with math, dont take his, if you are taking 3 courses in one semester, dont take his class. He will give you hard exams, and so much homework to do,u have no time to study other class.
Lectures right from the book. Copies answers right out of the book. Not sure if he knows his material since he uses the answer book. Tons of homework. Tests are very short so your grade drops quickly. Takes off points for small things.
Spends 1/2 the class making jokes and the other half actually teaching. He will answer every small question asked in class and test questions come from the homework. A pretty easy class as long as you do your homework and spend some time outside of class learning the material. Not the greatest professor, but ok if you're just looking to pass.
Dr. Duty gave so much homework that it monopolized all my time from the three other courses I took. Unfortunately, I had to scale back my time on statistics so I could succeed at my other classes. I find that relative to the excessive amount of homework and the unforgiving manner of his grading test, Dr. Duty is largely an ineffective teacher.
Dr. Duty doesn't seem to realize that statistics is not the center of the universe. There are other classes students have to take and his killing us with 70 plus homework assignments, some of which took hours to complete, is not a fair way to treat non-math majors.
I really regret taking this class! By far the most difficult class I've taken. You would be better off taking it from any other teacher. Absolutely terrible teacher and gave too much homework?
This is by far the most difficult class I have ever taken! The tests were crazy difficult and Duty didn't really prepare us that well. Unless you have more that 24 hours a day to do homework, AVOID THIS CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a miserable class this was! I can't adequately express how much I detested how this class was conducted. Duty comes accross as caring and understanding. BE NOT DECEIVED!! He has a class with an unrelenting schedule of excessive homework assignments which I found to be impossible to keep up with. As to the exams, he is mean, unforgiving & petty
Horrible professor! Don't take him, especially if you struggle in math. Gives too much hw and all online assignments are due by 6pm. Acts as if stat is your only class and concern. You basically have to teach yourself the material. Spends entire class on 1 example. Refuses to give study guide or outline for test. Save yourself the time and money
Bad experience. Very inflexible professor. He made the class much more difficult than it really needed to be.
Terrible teacher! Expects all the students to learn the subject with little help from him.
He is really nice professor!!!I took his MA116 and MA180.He has helped me a lot after class. In both classes, I had A. He assingns a lot of HW, but it will help you on exams. He also gave us extra crdits sometimes. Some people gave him low ratings, but I definitely recommend him!!!
Dr. Duty is honestly one of the kindest people I have ever met. He does actually care, and wants students to do well. Assigns a lot of homework, but will give extra time if asked. Take this class if you want to learn.
Very helpful teacher after class. Lots of homework is given, but is necessary to be successful on the tests. His after school hours are really helpful and the best way to go through step by step processes that weren't understood in class.
Hard, for math lovers. there is an hour of homework every other day. to teach he simply puts a problem on the board and we solve it as a class. His tests are extremely difficult, a few things that he doesnt mention will be on the exam but they will come from the homework or the review. tests are much harder than homework problems. always available.
I love math but he assigned way to much homework that was not enough for the tests. The exams were easy until series and the final was incomparable to any test before. Would not recommend his class if you want free time either! So much homework!
Stay away from this guy. Way too much homework. He just throws too much your way too fast. Another thing, he will not give you an answer key to your test to take home. He will only let you view it in class. So you can never really correct mistakes. This was the worst math experience in my entire life. He comes off as nervous and goes on tangents.
Very picky and harsh grader. Is a clear and organized lecturer. Tough class but he genuinely cares about the subject and his students.
Really nice and genuine person. Does anything to help his students. Highly recommend.
Professor Duty is a nice guy, but an awful lecturer. He seems so nervous and ends up taking twice as long as necessary to explain something, wasting class time and boring the hell out of his students. Also doesn't recognize that students have other classes and will regularly assign large amounts of homework. His tests aren't terrible, harsh grader.
Dr. Duty makes an otherwise dull lecture somewhat entertaining. There is a substantial amount of homework but its sort of necessary to understand the material. Best advice is to practice the pre-test quizzes A LOT and the tests should be fine. Very strict about notation, but who isnt.
He has no idea what he's talking about (constantly mixes up things and directs you to the textbook whenever you have any questions), assigns far too much homework, and grades awfully harshly and picky on tests. (i.e. you can know the material well and show your work, but lose points for not showing it the exact way he wants it).
If you want to do more work than is necessary this is your guy. Professor duty has very poor character, he flipped at a projector during a final. He also makes test longer than it should be allowed, never managed to fit tests within class time. He is a very incompetent professor who doesn't know how much homework is too much, and no feedback.
Dr. Duty was an amazing teacher. He tries his best to make sure everyone is understanding. Even though his home works are a lot, he will compensate it by giving bonus on exams and finals. Paying attention in class matters.
He was an amazing and witty professor. He cares so much about his students, and tries to make people understand the content. His most helpful during office hours, and even though he gave a lot of homework it was so helpful with the exams. And he also gave extra points on exams. Such an awesome professor I would take him again.
He gives a lot of homework to make you work for it, but its very helpful on the tests. He is always accessible outside of class and office hours help a lot. He will curve tests so everyone gets a fair grade, he just wants you to succeed.
Gives good lectures with lots of examples, and curves exam grades. Also very affable in general.
Consider carefully other subs if you want to take this course b/c it's heavy and long. You will be practiced to climb onto high mountains. Try your best, do all exercises to attain the success. He stands in the middle of the boundary of a great father and an opponent man. 3 things for a good prep: the courage of a lion, the perseverance & a flame.
He is genuine professor and he means well. He gives a lot of homework that contribute a lot to your final grade and its quite tedious. His test are also really weird in terms of the formatting and are quite challenging. Only take him if this is the only class your taking or you're really good at time management or you'll be in for a ride.
" DON'T EVEN THINK about taking his class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Dr. Duty is a good professor who cares about his students. He explains his material well and is always open to answering questions. Only issue I had was feeling as if I had to teach myself some of the material for tests and homework as in class we only worked thoroughly on a few problems in a single class period. Overall, Id give an A- rating :)
Take him for calc 1. super easy exams. for each exam that contains 30 questions, he will give you 6 days to turn that in. its also has redemations. easy to pass.
Dr. Duty was a fantastic Linear Algebra professor, and I'm so glad I was able to take the class with him. It was difficultwe had two exams every two weeksbut Dr. Duty made it manageable by offering test redemptions and ample opportunity to meet with him outside class hours.
It's clear that Dr. Duty cares about his students and making sure everyone is engaged with the class; the course material isn't difficult at all if you're willing to put in the effort to keep up with assigned work, and there are many opportunities offered to help you maintain a good grade such as test remediations and office hours
He tends to be very impartial to student matters as if he does not care, he is defined by the textbook rigidity of teaching that has defined the past and as a result appears extremely artificial where he does things just to checkboxes no more no less. Not necessarily bad teaching but definitely not an inspirational figure meant to push a student.
Professor Duty is a real deal. The thing that I loved most about him is that he explained everything in the lectures, and he would do anything to make sure you understand, Not only that, he also gives extra credit, so as long as you do your part, he'll surely reward you with that. Math 182 is surely hard but with professor Duty, an A is possible.
This professor has to be on my top 3 list. He is very genuine and caring. He WILL go out of his way to work with you to help you out, but you do have to try. I would 100% take this professor again. Do yourself a favor and lock in his course ASAP!
You MUST master every single WebAssign Homework Question, bc WebAssign Exams are based on the WebAssign Homework. I got a B-/C+ on every exam, but after Test Corrections I got an A in his class. Seriously, be respectful, don't freak out on him, and do well on Webassign. Lectures might be slow paced, but focus on WebAssign at the end of the day.
Great professor. I like the way he teaches and is very helpful when explaining different concepts. Makes a lot of funny analogies and keeps the class entertained. Teaching style: walks the class through different difficult problems that will be on the HW and exams. As long as you do your homework, you will be fine.
he is really nice to his students and is very fair. His lectures are awfully boring and incoherent. If you are good at math and learn from the textbook, this could be a good fit. but if you need lectures to be helpful, this is not your guy.
pros:nice, gives u time for exam, and understanding. cons:lots of exams, LOTS of web assigns hw(almost everyday) and doesn't like it when u solve problems without using his methods(which is long and sometimes even more complicated). DON'T take this class if u are a slow learner cuz u will get overwhelmed
Very nice and patient professor. Gives ample extra credit opportunities and exams are directly related to homework assignments. If you do the homework, a B or above is guaranteed in my opinion. I highly recommend this professor for math.
Professor Duty cares about his students; every exam has 2 versions; every exam is from the homework; if you do the homework and practice for an exam B+ or A is guaranteed; there are extra credits for submitting on time; the homework has part where you can get help on how to solve the questions. I highly recommend you to take his class.
Don't be afraid to take Professor Duty's Calc 2 class. His teaches good examples/problems to prepare his students both homeworks and exams. He genuinely cares about his students. He would reach them out, answers and clarifies any question students have in a topic. I can't stress this enough: If you DO WELL on homeworks, you'll DO WELL on Exams.
I found the class set up and Dr. Duty's teaching style to be the most helpful of any math teachers i've had. He sets up the tests and homeworks in a manner which you can tell he actual cares about you learning the content rather than trying to catch you on what you dont know. His lectures are engaging, he is very funny and extremely attentive.
Absolutely amazing professor. He teaches some very hard classes, so don't take them lightly, but he's great. He makes a lot of jokes, but he really cares that you understand everything. The exams are LONG. The homework is very very important.
Very forgiving professor for a very unforgiving subject. Overall his attitude and helpfulness balances it out.
Prof Paul is a very nice guy, he's flexible and gives u lots of time to finish an exam. The thing is if u aren't a math wizard i suggest u look elsewhere cause there is wayy to many hw that will overwhelm u if u don't keep up and his method of teaching is very unclear. He also uses examity so that's an another down side.Overall please avoid if u can
Dr. Duty is AWESOME!!!!! I totally recommend taking his class. He wants his students to succeed and he gives lots of time to work on homework and ask questions. He does assign a lot of homework but it's all very useful since the homework and exams are exactly the same. Calc 2 is hard but if you apply yourself and show up to class you'll be fine
Professor Dr. Paul Duty is a very kind professor who understands his students! I can surely say his classes were so easy to understand with his jokes ( that helps during exams) and simple figures, and homework every 3 days at 1 pm was crucial because it prepared us before the class.
ALL EXAMS THAT WE CAN RETAKE!had a crisis and mostly kept falling ill this semester, and I badly needed those retakes. MATH 182 is hard, but practice makes it better Professor Paul Duty also holds in-person class office hours where we can go and solve questions with our peers and ask him questions about our homework. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
I actually liked Prof Paul. He's seems like a down to earth and very chill guy. He's very felxiable and understanding. Gives u a chance to retake exams! Not a lot of professors do that so in that sense he's awesome but his teaching style isn't for me. I was drowning in hw's and he also doesn't like it if u solve problems that aren't his way.
This class was a lot of work but Dr. Duty made it worth it. He is a very kind professor and allowed students many attempts at increasing their grades throughout the semester. This is a very difficult class but Dr. Duty will go over any questions or confusion. Definitely would recommend him as a professor.
His class has been one of the easiest math classes I have ever taken, he makes all the sub-sections easy to understand. His extra credit policy is very helpful, I was struggling a lot during the semester and his late work policy was very helpful.
Decent amount of homework but not much more than my previous math classes. He's a very caring and generous guy, automatically boosts exam grades and overall grade. Does use Examity, but I've never had any issues with it. Exams are based on webassign hw. Lets you retake exams. Most chill class I have rn.
Throughout the course always made sure students felt comfortable with his teaching methods, made sure everyone was engaged and understanding the lecture. Many opportunities to improve grades, as for hw, yes it might seem like a lot but for math280 you'll definitely need all the practice. Dr. Duty has been one of my best professors at MC.
Prof. Duty is an AMAZING teacher! He allowed retakes on EVERY exam and always made sure we understood every step of the way, you can tell he is very passionate. He encourages questions and has office hours right after class. He is super sweet and a jokester too, just make sure you do NOT fall behind on the homework. I could not recommend him more!
Someone described him as a "forgiving teacher for an unforgiving subject" and I second this. Homework due before every class and exams every other week, but his clear and lighthearted lectures made them less daunting. Allowed exam retakes and slightly curved grades. It is imperative you take notes and understand your homework before taking exams!
Great professor and guy. Makes sure the class understands a subject and gives out example problems to look over. Lots of homework, so be prepared, but they are very helpful when preparing for the online exams. He goes on tangents during lectures which made the class more interesting. If you need extensions on assignments, just ask.
Paul Duty is the Michael Jordan of teaching.
Prof Paul may not be the most engaging lecturer, but he's flexible and understanding. The homework is tough, but using Unstuck study and the textbook helps a lot. Overall, a fair and rewarding class.
Inhumane amounts of homework due the next day. Calc 2 was WAY easier and thats suppose to be the weedout class. Exam's incredibly hard but they're take home so everyone cheats on them. Even though exams are retakeable, its a better choice to take w another prof so youre not dying of stress and learn better. dude thinks we're math machines.
I've never seen a professor as flexible as Dr. Duty. Soooo many opportunities to boost your grade, its actually impossible to fail his class. Lectures were great, he shows how to do the hardest problem you'd see in homework, making the rest of the homework easier. There's lots of homework, but if you are math savvy, this class will be your easy A.
Makes the class extremely easy to pass, so he gets high ratings here. Doesn't seem to understand the material very well; he makes mistakes in lecture all the time and can't answer any student questions. His lectures are also very boring. You are better off doing your homework during them than listening to him, which he assigns a lot of.
Took Calc II online with Prof. Duty—very caring and flexible. He allows exam retakes, explains clearly, and offers helpful office hours. He also tutors at the STEM Ackerman Center. Homework has late penalties, but he really made a tough class easier.
Professor Duty is excellent. He teaches tough courses like Calc and Diff Eq but is flexible with grading—retakes and late work are allowed. He's very accessible, tutors in the STEM center, and genuinely supports students who put in effort. Great professor, highly recommend.
If it wasn't for professor Duty, I would not have passed this class. Multivar was throwing me around and I was genuinely having a hard time despite the hours of studying I put in. He made it interesting, and before the final, gave us a huge study guide that we could use to earn some points back on the exam. Quite literally saved me.
Dr. Duty was a great professor. Although I'm not the best at math, and calculus was pretty hard for me, the retakes and extra credit opportunities he offered helped me earn a B in this class. There is lots of homework, but if you are unable to complete it, you can do it with a late penalty, and every exam was retakeable, even the final.
