Sarcastically funny! HUGE project of at least 30 pages on another country. Fairly easy tests. Lets out of class early most of the time!
Really awesome professor, had no interest in management before now i think i'm going to switch my major
He is great. Super excitind and always fun.
he is the greatest teacher ever, the project is so much fun, it seems hard but if you follow the hand out he gives you then it is a piece of cake
Good teacher, nice guy, has an extensive collection of Polo shirts
Strong mastery of course content
Was his student assistant and then took his class. It was awesome!! Great teacher but better person. Very knowledgeable about the course material. The best I've had at UNF!!
Probably the most intersting teachers at UNF so far. Very nice guy with interesting stories. Expect to work hard to make a good grade in his class though. Not a slacker class whatsoever. Group projects in both classes, tests, and a presentation in international, but it was fun. Highly Recommended.
def. take this guy. easy B not trying. plus he is a teacher that keeps you awake.
Great teacher, good style. Some work, but nothing hard. Cancels lots of classes, grades well.
One of the best professors I've ever had. Always makes classes interesting and brings theories and concepts to the real world by giving actual examples. Usually has a team project in every class, but grades well and looks for creativity. Always will be fair with every student.
Make sure you read your text. 3 tests with no cumulative final. Major project includes a group presenting an assigned chapter to the class. Tests are from notes and text--not too bad. One of the most unorthodox classes I've ever been in.
Dr. Fadil is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He keeps class fun and interesting, while conveying his knowledge in a very clear and concise way. He is very understanding, has a great sense of humor, and easy to approach. You must read every chapter for the tests and the project is pretty in depth, but stcik with it and you'll be fine.Easy B
Awesome teacher, If you study you do well.
tough tests if you dont take notes, but overall, i really half assed it, exept the group project, and im getting my C, which means im on to the next class
Great teacher he made a borring subject pretty interesting. You do have to make a good effort to read the book to pass the tests. If you put in a half a** effort in your work he will call you out in front of the whole class. If you have any questions he is nery easy to get a hold of anytime.
And the winner for the most overrated professor is....Fadil. Maybe he was better in the past, or when he taught org behavior, but as an Org Theory teacher he pretty much sucks. Not much work involved with the exception of the group project, and the tests aren't that difficult, but he's unclear on his expectations of the project. And he's an ass.
fadil is awesome and unbelievably hot! I learned so much from his teaching and hope to take more classes from him! he is clear in his expectations and helpful if you have any questions. I only wish more professors would act and look like him!
You have to read the book to have any idea what the class was about (his lectures are more like talking out his butt). Oh, and you will hear about his "close personal friend who wrote the book" His instructions about the presentation are really unclear. Overall, he's easy and you'll make new friends b/c he emphasizes communication.
Very interesting teacher. Knows subject inside out. Not an easy "A" by any stretch. VERY clear with instructions. Material boring, but Fadil made it fun. He was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend him for whatever classes he teaches. I hope I get the chance to take him one more time before I graduate. It'll be worth it.
Fadil is by far the coolest teacher at UNF!First off hes from Jamaica so hes laid back, and his ambition to teach can be seen in his lectures and conversations. Take him for every class possible, im not sayin hes easy but you will learn alot....
The Best!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice professor. Tests are a little difficult. Lets the night classes out a little earlier. tests are m/c.
Paul expects alot of you, but gives alot in return- days off, early release, and with our class, let us opt out of the last exam. Laid back and treats you like adults, unlike other profs. Need help, he's very personable and warm. He is up for tenure so he's trying to make a good impression, which he does well. Work and you'll do well with him!
This professor needs to go back and lean how to teach. He does let you out of class early all the time and he is usually late too. Its like he doesn't want to be there, he doesn't want to teach. He assigns one big project and changed it 3 to 4 times. No need to attend class just read.
Took during spring. Was such a difficult class. He would write things down on the board so fast and then say ok you understand and go on. So no time for asking questions. The project is horrible and he doesnt want to teach. Never lets you out early.
doesnt let class out early ever, 3 m/c tests, attandence counts, one project that gets changed a few times.
Awesome teacher, really nice and helpful.
Nice Teacher, there is one exam that isn't easy. Just come to class, read the powerpoints and ask questions. Not a hard class
This was of of my best most interesting classes. he is not easy, by any stretch, but he is extremely helpful, supportive, funy and intersting. Most of all, you learn!!! This was a great class. I'll take him again in a second. He is a slacker's nightmare. If your expectations are an easy "A", you'll be disappointed.
Dr. Fadil is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had at UNF. Class is fun and interesting! You have to read, come to class, and be prepared to take notes. If you can handle that, then there will be not problem. He is very fair to his students and very willing to work with them.
I attended every class, took notes, studied and still did not do well on his exams. I believe that they were tricky. You really need to know the book inside and out. He seems nice, but when I went to speak with him during his office hours he wasn't as nice or helpful at all. The lectures were fun. I would not take him again.
Fadil teaches some hard material which makes his tests hard, but he is laid back and as helpful as can be. turns boring material into something that keeps your attention. i'm taking him again next semester and would recommend him to my friends taking the same classes.
Huge help, very motivational, tells the truth, hard but very strait forward teacher, knows how to get students' attention
This is by far one of the best classes I have taken thus far at UNF and I am a 2nd semester junior. He teaches from the book as well as his own material. His teaching is very insightful. I can truthfull say that I learned a lot from his class. He is very helpful and friendly outside of class. I would definitely take another course with him!
Dr. Fadil is by far one of the best teachers in the Business Department. He keeps your attention by using real world examples. You MUST COME TO CLASS!!! If you miss a day get the notes from someone that writes very thoroughly. His tests are mainly from his notes, but you still have to read the book to get a good grade. One of the Best by far!!
Fadil is one of the best professors I've had at UNF. He is so passionate about teaching and makes Administrative Management (a relatively bland subject) interesting and even entertaining at times. I've signed up for another class of his for next semester. Looking forward to it!
I took this class as an elective within the Communications major, and was not aware of how challenging it was going to be. I was surprised at how interesting the content was because of how Dr. Fadil taught the subject. He is very insightful, energetic and resourceful. MUST READ and study LOTS for tests. Not an Easy A!
He is awesome teacher. Keeps you into it. But he does not prepare you for the test as you would think. You really need to study. I tried to talk to him twice about past test. He told me to meet him at his office. Only that was not there both times and his TA was, and she knew nothing about the course. She told me that.
One of the worst professors i ever had, must show up to class every day to make sure he doesn't add anything to the book. Used to always complain about the book, but still ended up using it. Felt as if the class was a waste of time, a class to learn how manage people? In my opinion horrible class, and he makes it harder then it needs to be.
I absolutely loved this teacher. He was one of the most interesting professors I've ever had. He had great real life advice and ways to apply what he taught. His tests aren't the easiest and you definitely have to come to class to get a good grade on his tests. Take lots of notes and study hard. This class is worth it though!
I had this guy for 3025, came back for 4201 and probably 4240 too. Attendance is not mandatory, but tests are based on notes, so you kind of have to come. He is very fun, VERY clear, does not try to trick you, and he will repeat something as many times as you need to so that you can take good notes. All in all, GREAT professor! Go Fadil! :-)
Had this professor at Valdosta State University several years ago! He is WONDERFUL!!! He made what I expected to be a boring class, FUN!!! I still use the things I lerned in his class today.. particulauly the story about the woman's preception of how someone handed her money.. Dr. Fadil ROCKS!!!
Great teacher...Must go to class, test contains specific examples from lecture...extremely interesting lectures make content easy to remember however....is great at providing real world information...would take again in a heartbeat
I love this class! It was so interesting and the almost 2 hour class (summer term) went by so fast. Just write down everything he says and read the book (know it inside and out). You can not rely on just the notes, the book is a must. I found that it was not as hard as people say. READ and got to class thats the key...
Dr. Fadil made this a fun class by talking to the class as though we were all sitting in his living room. Very nice guy and has tons of real world experience to help explain concepts. If he writes something on the board - know it inside and out it because several test questions may come from it. Also, take onlile quizes on book publisher's website.

Can't say enough wonderful things about him! I LOVED HIM. He makes class fun, entertaining, and you actually retain the lectures. Tests are hard, but if you come to class and actually read the book you'll be fine. He's really helpful, incredibly genuine, and I wish he taught more subjects! take Dr. Fadil for anything you can!!!
This teacher is awesome! He is really funny and gives you a lot of great advice. He always tells funny stories and jokes that relates to what your learning. His tests are really hard. Everything he lectures on, he tests on. Just make sure to study the book and take really detailed notes!
Dr. Fadil is great! he makes class fun, interesting, and enjoyable. i love him!
I was worried going into this class bc of what everyone was writing on here. I have an A in his MAN 3025 so far. I've gone to every class and type my notes. I then scan through the text to add anything he skipped over in lecture. I've been aceing every test!(4 muilt. choice) TAKE HIM! The 6 page paper is worth 10% = CAKE!
He is the best teacher I've ever had. You do need to study and take god notes, but class in usually interesting and he's the coolest teacher to talk with. You can always go talk to him and ask him questions about anything. There is no choise because he's hte only one teaching this class, but read the book and study your notes. LOVE HIM!
Dr Fadil is a great teacher, he uses real life examples from his past to help you understand the concept's. You MUST take good notes AND read the book. Do not expect to pass his class without taking good notes and paying attention to his examples because he does use them on the test. He's a sincere teacher and wants you to have fun & learn.
Great teacher, study both notes and book. Must go to class to do well.
Dr. Fadil is enthusiastic and fun. My only criticism is for the lady who teaches the class jointly with him, Ms. Johnson. You have to watch your back with her or you will lose points for her mistakes, and your assignment with her is worth 10% of your grade.
Awesome teacher. Changed my life. Take his class!
Great teacher, hard tests. You have to go to class every day because he uses lecture examples on tests. Have to read the book. On Mrs. Johnson's paper, you have to follow her directions explicitly or she will kill on the grade and it's 10% of your grade.
The best professor I've ever had! He is a natural at lecturing. His tests are challenging but fair. They are not tricky, they just require you to study.
Got an A in the class, but had to work for it. The thing is that Fadil puts so much into the class you want to do well. The only class I've ever felt bad about missing. One piece of advice: every thing in discussed in class is fair game for the test, even personal stories he tells.
Probably one of the best Professor at UNF... I have taken Dr Fadil for 5 different classes... He is the best!
This guy is God!!! He is everything you want in a Prof. and more. You will learn and have fun, but don't expect an easy "A". I'm and "A" student and fought for a "B" but learned more than in any other class. The best class I've had, by far. UNF is better because he is there. Phenomenal!!
I ended up dropping the class because I bombed 2 tests and there was no way I'd pass. But despite the fact that I dropped it I LOVED this class. This is one class I actually looked forward to going. Professor Fadil is awesome, he keeps you interested the whole time. But the class is TOUGH! You must read, go to class, and study or you'll fail.
I thought overall, the course was well taught and very interesting. I disagree with his grading policy - I do not believe people who earned what would be seen as a B+ (88 average) should be penalized with a B while people who earned a B- (80 average) are rewarded with a B. It is unfair and discouraging.
Fadil is a great professor, but his tests can be more difficult than you might expect. He does not always cover everything in his lectures so make sure to read the book thoroughly! He is very easy going, but don't let that fool you. You will need to do more than show up and take notes to do well in his class.
WHAT'S ALL THE HYPE? This guy was ok. He tested us on literally, 1/3 of the text book (it's a big book, too) Gave us no study guide, basically said, "Memorize the book and my lectures". He tells each class, "I'm not going to sugar coat anything" which translates to, "Let me cram my opinions down your throat". enjoyable class, cool guy, not god!!
Interesting, fun Prof. Related class material to the real world. Actually presented both sides to every topic and made sure to carefully explain the controversial topics. He was captivating, educational, and just plain awesome to listen to. He is the best prof. I have ever had. Maybe not God, but pretty close!!
Makes the most out of dry material. Energetic. Makes lame jokes?feels like you?ve landed in sit-com hell. Everything you learn in there has already been thought in other classes. Class is great excuse for university to get more cash out of you. They pooled together sporadic info & tried to tie it together under ?management skills.? Embarrassingl
Best Prof. I ever had. Period.
I liked Fadil bc he is a nice down to earth guy, but I dont agree with his teaching. He strives reocognition and high standards for material that is easy. Def a b.s.'er. kinda tuts his own horn a bit when it comes to his past which you'll hear all about and be tested on. Test does consist of questions that have no relevance to subject but nice guy
1. Fadil's jokes and stories relate to the material being taught and are funny. Anyone who disagrees is just bitter because they made a bad grade in the class. His lectures are 100% vocal & the tests are 50%from what he says in class and 50% from the book. Study notes, Study the book (2-3 chapters per test) and its an **EASY A**, just dont slack..
Best professor I've had at UNF so far. Genuinely nice guy who has jokes and stories to help you understand the material. You have to go to class, but class was actually fun. Tests are half book, half notes. Read chapters (2-3 per test), take notes, and remember examples, and it's an easy class. Not to mention fun. Take him! He's awesome!
GO TO CLASS!!!! On each test there are questions from his lecture. If u only study the book or only study the notes, you will fail. Study them both see where they intersect and where they differ. This makes a difference on exams. Also be in class so that u can do the borderline assignments - that one point helps.. Fadil is a good guy.
Great Guy!!! This is not a light class u must attend every class and read and study the notes along with the chapters...So take good notes because he does place info from the notes on the test... 3 test over 1-3 chap and a paper...Great professor he's just not gonna give u anything...
He doesn't round, i ended up with an 89! Definitely go to class every day. his tests have questions from the lectures. Really interesting guy, and i learned a lot! I would take him again!!
Excellent course. I'd recommend taking this class to students that aren't even business majors.
He is very clear about his expectations and what is going to be on the test. He is a very fair teacher.
Fadil is the man. He's very clear on what he expects. He may the lectures so much fun. Far from boring he's rather enthusiastic in class, and quite funny too. I would take him again. Very helpful. Test are hard and definitely not easy. You must attend class for the notes and read the book to pass.
I loved this class because Fidel made it awesome! Watch out for Mrs. Johnson. She teaches the career planning workshop tied to this course which makes up 10% of your grade. If you don't have her proof your paper before it's due she'll give you a 62. She leaves out important details in her instruction packet. Still got an A though. Thanks Fidel!!!
Great Professor but the test's dont reflect the lectures
Fadil made this class fun. Write down everything and read the chapters.
Great Teacher. Very knowledgeable about subject matter. Makes ths class funny with his personal stories. Tests: need to read the book and attend lecture. Questions are straight from both. I took it in the summer and our grades were based on three tests. Not an easy class but he makes fun.
Fadil's tha man! Very fun lectures. Tests are not easy, but if you study and take good notes in class you'll do really well.
If you can't handle a little ambiguity, don't take this professor. Fadil is very easy going, but his tests are serious. Make sure you read the text and don't just depend on the lectures. Creativity on the group project will help your grade significantly.
Took this class in the summer. Take notes and READ the chapters or you will not do well on the exams. His lectures are packed with info but he makes class interesting. He stays after class to answer questions and is an overall nice professor.
The last rater is an idiot. Fadil does go by the book and uses his personal stories so we can better understand the material. Every story is related with a purpose in mind. He is as far from conceited and shallow as you can get. If you want a professor to read a book to you, go for it. I'll take Fadil any day of the week. He is awesome!!
Really nice teacher, and interesting lectures. Tests are hard! Study lectures and book for sure! Attendance is only mandatory so that you can get lecture notes..
Three exams (90%) and writing breakouts (10%) make up grade. Interesting, personable professor with tons of experience. Informative lectures but particular on exams. I would recommend taking Fadil for Admin Mgt!
This professor is great. As more classes I take, I assure that. He have principles, he is fair to ALL the students and even better...he admitts if he makes mistakes. I took already 10 clsses at UNF, and he still one of my favorites. Don't excpect him to remember your name because his classes are huge!!! but if you have the chance, take it!!=)
If you make notecards of ALL the bold printed words, and you know them like the back of your hand, there's no way you will fail. :)
One of the BEST professors I have taken at UNF. He does a great job at using examples to relate to the material we cover in class. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff! He goes above and beyond to help his student, stays after class to answer any questions you may have. I would take Fadil over and over again if I could.
Awesome professor. Very easy to understand. Made me want to go to class.
Can we just clone this guy and call it a day. When someone says let's build the world's most perfect professor, just replicate Fadil. The dude is awesome!!!
I really enjoyed Dr. Fadil's Admin Man class. I never learned so much in so little time (summer class), given the fact that they added a writing workshop to the class taking up valuable lecture time. He really knows what he is talking about. He gives great lectures and really keeps you engaged. Don't miss class!
Goes over the book and adds his own material as it relates. VERY clear on what he expects and tells you EXACTLY where test is coming from. Spends time after class and in office with students. He is ALWAYS there to help. Taken many classes and never seen a class break into applause for a teacher on the last day. We did for Fadil.
This is the third time i'm rating this teacher, but all of them was removed?!!! don't know why?!!! or he has reported as abuse!!! not sure! His class is very interesting, very god topics... but overloading information which you have to read the book+his notes! He doesn't care about your success, but he loves his job in his own way! very hard test!
Awesome professor. Awesome class. Everything he is advertised to be.
Awesome professor. First test is extremely hard. Take detailed notes and study from those and the book.
Quite simply the best professor here at UNF. He know's what he's talking about and he relates it to things to keep students interested. 3 tests. 1st one was super hard but he makes up for it later. (He let our class use test 2 for test 3) very smart man. Probably should be consulting not teaching. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!
One of the best professors I ever had. Interesting lectures, always helpful, a pleasure listening to him and his anecdotes. Recommend taking his classes whenever you got a chance to do so
Fadil was a great professor in a way that he knows what he is talking about. But he could be arrogant and boastful sometimes.. The average in class was low one time, and he suggested that the people who didn't do good should consider switching to a different major.. enough said!
Great professor!! Very interesting and a great guy. Always willing to help. Did say " If you studied as hard as you could, did the very best you could, and got a 30-40 out of 100, you should consider switching majors." I found nothing offensive about that. I saw no arrogance, just a great teacher who made lectures interesting and fun. Take him.
One of the best teachers at unf! He is extremely interesting and has great lectures. I never got bored in there! DO BUY THE BOOK. The Connect that comes with it will shoot your grade from a B to an A. It is super helpful. Wish I could take him again!
Fadil is an amazing professor. He is interesting, enlightening, enjoyable, insightful, communicates well, and places high value on respect for one another. He wants his students to be creative - and it helps to turn such repetitive business concepts into a fun learning environment. GO TO CLASS! Not because you have to, but because you'll want to!!
Dr. Fadil should teach every business class. He actually cares about the students. He is very knowledgable and enthusiastic. My lecture was scheduled for 3 and a half hours. Although it never lasted that long, I could sit there and listen to his lectures for that long. Write down EVERYTHING he says, read the book, and do McGraw Hill. Got a B.
Great Professor! Best professor I have encountered at UNF. Put the time in studying and go to every class and you will do fine. I wish Fadil taught more classes because I really learned alot from him.
Fadil is awesome! He has a way of commanding your attention and making you remember what he says. Pay attention during the lecture and take good notes and you will be fine....not as hard as everyone says.
Don't bother with the book. Never cracked it. Tests had like one question from the text. All the rest were from his notes. Easy A if your good at memorization, otherwise start studying early and drill those definitions. Writing portion sucks! It's 25% of the grade and given by another professor. Timed writing assignments and quizzes about grammar.
Great teacher! Have to go to class and get the notes. He is very entertaining! Take the night class! Tests can be tough if you dont read the chapters and study well.
UNF is honored to have this man.He truly has changed my life for the better. This is one of those classes you will remember about college. memorize definitions, categories and application of terms and youll do fine. First test is hard. Other 2 are much more simplistic. The writing just plain sucks. Kinda pointless since we all took business writing.
i don't usually complain about work but this class has more work than it deserves.for writing i went to ACE and her office to check my paper and i got 88. DrFadil makes exams harder than it shouldi spent over 20 hours studying and then get to exam knowing all terms but not understanding his questions.over all enjoyed his classes, smart guy
Nothing is easy about this professor or class. I know many people who have failed. Fadil's teaching style is fun &entertaining but his exams do not fully reflect the lecture. Trick questions on exams. Need to know book BACK to FRONT! Writing portion is ridiculous but doable if you know the English language. Study HARD & good luck. You'll need it!
Dr. Fadil is a brilliant, funny professor. He makes class enjoyable and you can tell the he really loves what he's doing. And he honestly cares that the students do well. Read the text and compare to your notes and you'll do well. Tests cover everything ... even his stories about personal experiences. He's GREAT!!
Awesome teacher. Enjoyed his stories and the man really knows his stuff. The only hard part about this class, the exams. Very difficult and must study from both book and lecture notes. Make sure to literally read the chapters given
Fadil has great sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable in the subject and does a great job of using real life experiences to assist the learning process. I took the summer 6 week course, so things moved fairly fast. There is a written portion worth 20% of the grade handled by Prof Howell. The remaining 80% was in 2 tests, study and you'll be fine
Dr. Fadil is a great teacher. You need to go to class as his tests are 90% from the lecture. His lectures are very interesting and keep your attention! I would take him again!
Fadil is a great professor. His tests are off of his lectures so you have to go to class but you must also read the book. His lectures are very interesting and keep your attention. The class is awesome. I looked forward to his lectures. His tests are killer though. You have to study hard!
His class was amazing. He loves to teach and cares about students who put the effort in. You have to go to class cause he goes over stuff that isn't in the book and it's on the test. There was a writing portion & it's a major chunk of your grade. Should really put effort into that to pass.
Fun professor, he gives very good examples to make you understand, he tries to get you into his lecture by putting you as an example, making people participate, doing some games. Just inspiring.
Fadil is definitely entertaining and the material is easy. I expected more professionalism at a business school though. I wouldn't take him if I wanted to learn something.
BEST PROFESSOR AT UNF. Very inspriring and loves to talk to his students and get to know them. Stop by his office and have a chat, you won't regret it! Also he leads Austria/Czech Republic study abroad every year and it was one of the most amazing things I've done during my 4 year at UNF. If you get the chance to go with him abroad, do it!!
I went on Fadil's study abroad trip and it was incredible! He is such a great person, and I would imagine that every class he teaches is a good one. Love this professor!
Full marks as an entertainer. Low on substance and content. Expect more from a business school professor.
This class was a waste of time. Go for the laughs. Don't expect to learn much.
This class should be online. Class meetings are a waste of time and filled with the instructor relating personal anecdotes. The material isn't difficult - read the book for an easy A.
Egotistical. Unprofessional. Told personal story that was inappropriate for the classroom - as example of a topic. Your grade depends solely on 4 tests. He gave us 2 assignments that were worth only 1 point each "extra credit". Wasted time to raze whole class about failed test scores, but wasnt helpful to our learning goals.
Dr. Fadil is very funny and cool but funny and cool doesn't help in a class like this. It's not difficult as long as you read the book. The lectures are kind of pointless because he goes off topic. You really only need to read the book and make sure you know the day of the test because he might change it a few times.
TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR ADMIN MGMT!!! so funny and makes the lectures super interesting!! His class is 4 tests and they are straight from his notes, and from book. Not hard material, if you read and actually study you can get an A on every test.
He teaches things that are not in the book. Barely had any class. We didn't have time to complete our 4 exams. 10 papers for 1 extra credit point, but we didn't get to do the 10 papers. Good luck passing his exams his first test average was a 64 and we had 14, 18% on the class
One of the best Ive ever had . Amazing lecturer and covered content appropriately. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Super knowledgable professor and makes lectures really fun and entertaining. People think he is not professional, but just tries to make things more interesting. If you study his notes, you can get an A on the test. I would definitely take him again.
He is knowledgeable. He is nice. He has experience. But.... I thought he was unorganized and I didnt like how he cancelled so many classes. His tests were super lecture heavy. Strict exam taking rules. Offered a 1% extra credit assignment but I only heard about it one time. Most kids failed the exams. No homework. Class ended early sometimes.
His tests are subjective and deviate from the book material pretty heavily. Slow paced class, only covered 6/13 chapters in a whole semester. Lots of cancelled classes. No feedback provided on any assignments. Material wasnt difficult but the most challenging part of the class was trying to determine his next step. Nice guy though.
Unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful of students time. Avoid if you can.
Dr Fadil is a great professor and his lectures where really entertaining. The semester I took him was kind of a mess with many canceled classes and we only did 3 tests instead of 4. He said this is the only time he's had a class go like that. It was never very clear what would be on the test, but if you hit the book hard you should pass.
Very disorganized. Sarcastic and rude if you ask for clarifications. Avoid if you can.
Dr Fadil is amazing, his lectures are so entertaining and he makes the chapters very clear. He provides a lot of examples & is very open to discussions. Hes very straightforward and honest. Not much credit for the assignments, but the assignments are also not hard at all. 10/10 recommend
Loved his lectures, full of wisdom. Attendance is not mandatory, but tests are taken from his lectures. Go to class, KNOW HIS PERSONAL EXAMPLES, skim the textbook, rewrite notes, you will get a good grade.
Only 4 exams-Difficult course in the aspect of the professor seeming to be fine if people did poorly on exams. He bragged last years average score on the first exam was in the 60s and that many students would quit the course after taking it. Even suggested people switch their major if they studied hard and didnt get the grade they expected.
Second time taking him. Doing much better since I'm not overloaded this semester and actually studying. 3 or 4 tests, 50 questions. Usually all the questions come from the lectures and very few(if any) from the book. Usually has some extra credit assignments you have to be in class to get. Study and you'll pass.
Professor Fadil was by far one of my favorite professors at UNF. If you don't show up to class you will miss material that's not from the book but talked about in class that will 100% be on the exams. I recommend going to class to avoid missing key info, but its not a waste because he's very entertaining with his lectures.
Prof. Facility is phenomenal-! He makes a potentially dry subject very interesting. He tells you upfront that the exams are drawn from his lectures as well as from the textbook; I found rewriting my notes from his lectures and doing a detailed outline of the textbook chapters really helped my exam preparation
The test are very tricky & tries his best to get you to choose the incorrect answer. Out to get students. Cancelled, time wasted classes. Class moral is don't read the book or it will confuse you. Doesn't post grades timely and makes wait until my wings post for final. Never gives paper grades. Doesn't provide any tools for success. Awful
Dr. Fadil, was pretty funny and very passionate about teaching. 3 test and 4-5 assignments that equal 10% of your grade. He takes forever to post your grades. He wont post the final grade until its been posted to my wings. Do not miss class, test come from lecture. Do your self a favor and avoid his class.
Honestly, Fadil is an amazing teacher. I loved his class but his tests were so difficult. And yes I studied... A LOT. I walked into the three tests super confident but I got Ds or Fs. If you are up for a challenge and don't have a full load take him. Fadil is wonderful. Just don't overbook yourself or you won't pass. And show up to class! It helps!
Professor Fadil is a good professor and a likable person. The trick to passing this class and doing well is to study his lectures. You cannot skip class because he goes over topics that are not in the book.
Fadil makes it sound like it's so hard but it's been one of my easiest classes. He is very full of himself but other than that, he's a relatively good professor. His lectures explain concepts clearly, he involves the class in discussions, he makes it interesting. He does test on some things he only mentions in lectures and won't be found in book.
Fadil is awesome. Don't sit on the ends of rows unless you want him to engage with you. You definitely have to study for exams. He's a funny guy and occasionally cancels class
Best professor EVER. I would take him for every class if possible. His lectures are always interesting and his tests are straight forward if you read, take GOOD notes and study. Going to class is recommended but isn't mandatory. Again, Fadil is a 10/10 :)
Dr. Fadil is a great professor. Make sure you don't skip his class because he goes over everything in class. Take notes on every single word he says, no joke, because it will more than likely be on the test. He gives you time to write the notes and he's a super decent guy. I wish other professors were like him.
Fadil is an overall kind person who gets real. You definitely need the textbook to succeed I would recommend the ebook. His tests are not difficult but are timed so be ready. He wasnt very specific about the group project but it was easy. Go to class and take notes and you will pass He is silly but is very informative. You will learn without stress
He doesn't grade anything until after the final. No access to the book for less than 2 weeks before the final. He is the worst professor I ever had. He spends most of class talking about himself. The tests are 60% of your grade and mostly based on the text. The tests are VERY hard. He has a low-class GPA average. 40% is group work. Hard to get +70%
Very engaging lectures, and easy to follow along in the textbook. Tests were online and easy to study for if you do the practices in the online textbook website. Only had a couple homework assignments and one group project, so overall it was a small workload. Great professor.
A hybrid class. Tests were online and proctored, so you'd have to prepare to take these, especially sicne you have 12 hours to start it.
This Professor is genuinely one of the best professors I have EVER taken, he is very kind and very understandable. I will say for this class we were very heavy on group presentations and Exams. His exams are online and webcam Proctored but If you attend his class and watch the videos he posts you should be fine. Attendance is very important to him.
McGrawHill assignments weekly, written assignments every week, hybrid class, met in person only before tests, zoom classes for the rest. Classes were Q&As and lectures were posted online, lecture videos were mostly around 50 min long. Tests on McGrawHill proctored with camera. Class was not interactive.Made a class that could've been fun boring.
The professor wrote the book, so the tests are all vocabulary questions phrased to confuse you. The course itself has purpose but because he wrote the book you have to memorize the most meaningless categorizations that are not even ever heard in the real world; they are purely academia. Tests are terrible, the rest of the class is good.
A little boring
Be prepared to self-study with Connect. There are 4 exams (80% overall). No extra credit assignments, so if you do poorly on the exam, you'll drop a grade. Most of the class time is Q&A, so many ppl stopped attending.
This Professor waits all semester, literally until the last week, to grade assignments after grading 2 assignments all semester so I never got to see my real grade. He does not respond to emails at all. His sarcastic nature did not bother me too much until he chewed a girl out for asking when he was going to grade assignments. Avoid at all costs
Honestly one of the best professors I've had at UNF. He is truly there for his students and will work with them. Weekly Homework was very doable and the time frame you have to do them is really nice. His assignments were primarily about you and that was really nice. Highly recommend taking him you won't regret it.
This is about as real of a college professor as it gets..You need to be mature and independent and capable if you take Paul's class. Skip class? fine. But he will NOT wait around for you or baby you or feed you information through email. You best be there or know someone to catch you up if you decide to miss. Great guy and I would recommend taking
Spent most of the class emphasizing that he was Jamaican. In fact I think that was the only thing I took away from this class. Stopped showing up to lectures because he would spend the whole time chewing us out over not finishing assignments early or talking about the fact that he's Jamaican. Even in the online lectures. We get it.
Hybrid course, all homework was weekly short papers about yourself. Only bad part is the big tests every few weeks which use mcgraw hill which kinda sucks but wtv they do a really good job of preparing you for the tests. Literally if you just do the homework test preps you will pass every test.
Lectures have very little relevance to his exams. If taking his class, you are better off ignoring lectures to spend more time reading the textbook over and over again until you memorize every word. There aren't exam reviews. You are to "review" on your own by going over textbook. Exams still difficult. Don't bother writing notes in your own words.
There's a lot of useful information in what he teaches that we could apply to our cultural understandings. However, most of it aren't on the exam. Rather, on the exam are mostly things about the McGraw textbook examples and the authors' point of view, which aren't really mentioned in his lectures. The class average, last I checked, was a mid-C.
He drops the worst test grade and allows 1 paper and one assignment to be dropped as well. Do the recharge and the questions over and over, and you will be prepared for the tests. He wrote the book so the questions will help on the test and are a majority of the grade, proctored 1 hour with 50 questions, but manageable.
This was an easy class. There's writing assignments due every Monday morning but they're easy. Each chapter gets 1 lecture recording and a reading, 1 writing assignment and an adaptive learning assignment. If you do the assignments, you will pass the class, just make sure to do a recharge before the exams. 50 question multiple choice exams.
