So, I never really even wanted to take this class. I accidentally signed up for a night class, so I had to find something else, and it turns out that this was one of those last classes. Well, from the very first day this teacher made it fun. I recommend taking his class! He is a wonderful teacher, and he is very helpful if you are willing to try!

He's excellent and very patient at explaining. He's incredibly articulate. In other words, you're never left clueless. He's very passionate about what he's teaching. His grading system is fair. If you flunk his class, it's because you wanted to or didn't apply yourself.

Mr. Fiorella's class was very pleasurable. The assignments are very clear. He grades on point system, so when you receive 900 points, you have an A. He gives every possible opportunity for success in this class, and if you fail it's because you didn't put ANY effort forth at all. By far my favorite teacher. To pass, just do the assignments. :)

This teacher teaches the material in a way that one understands. Making a good grade in his class is really easy but that doesn't mean that you don't have to work for it. All of the test questions come directly from his power points and he gives plenty of extra credit so that his students can redeem themselves.

One of the easiest teachers I've ever had. He is so willing to work with you to get a good grade. If you do all the vocabulary and in-class assignments you can easily get an A with no problem, just do the work. Take this class if you want an easy A and an awesome teacher.

For someone who was not interested in acting coming into the class, Mr. Fiorella made this class very enjoyable. It does take commitment and time available in your daily schedule, but it is a lot of fun. Mr. Fiorella respected my limitations and helped me do my best. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

I took his theatre appreciation class and he is AWESOME! very easy to get an A if you do what he says. Do the critques and study your notes. All of the test answers are in his powerpoints. The only way you wouldn't pass is if you didn't study or didn't do any of the work.

I took Mr. Fiorella for Development of Motion Picture. I absolutely love film, but the class wasn't completely what I expected. Mr. Fiorella has a lot of energy and is really funny, but the work becomes somewhat monotonous. If you have a busy schedule, I might hold off on this class because there is a lot of homework, but it is kinda fun, too!

No book is required and he can email you the powerpoints UPON request. He BOLDs, UNDERLINES, italics the important things to learn for tests. I really enjoyed his class because he's funny.

Does not mandate having the Textbook bcos students can get one in the library to read. But most importantly, students need to have his class notes bcos that where quiz and exam questions come from. This was a very helpful class,most of it was common sense, but still very helpful in transitioning to college. I really enjoyed this class! We got to watch movies, most of which I had never seen before. There is a good amount of homework, but it is easy to do because it's all in the textbook. You really do learn a lot about movies and it gives you more respect for film and how it is produced. I recommend taking this class, you will really enjoy it.

I attended this class online in the spring 2014. I loved this class, i did all the work and went to see 3 plays and did a Critique on them. and if I had question he did get back with me right away. I finished this class early and was exempt from the final and finished the class with an A. This teacher is great. and you should take him.

Very nice teacher, he gives students a lot of credit. Quiz is very easy and you can use your notes and textbook. If you want take the dram, I recommend him.

INTRO TO CINEMA very clear outlines of all the assignments and due dates for them this particular class since the book has 11chpts then there are 11 of each quiz,vocal,Facts assignment, and few in class qustionare. 4 exams only need to take 3 if you have an A. The quizzes very easy only 10 ques.& its over the pp u go over in class during the pp.

I would give him a okay to good rating because he seems to care what grade you make, but not what you learn, which is the important thing. Not hard, gives opportunity for extra credit, and I found him easy enough. Not my favorite but far from the worst teacher I ever had.

Mr. Fiorella is a great teacher. He is an open-minded and understanding individual. But don't get me wrong, he is still a firm teacher who treats all his students equally.

Mr Paul is THE MOST understandable prof I think I have ever taken. You do have a lot of independent work to do outside of class including watching a play and a few rehearsals but as long as you do whats needed to get done you'll do great. Just review the slides and his tests are a piece of cake. Seriously super busy guy I don't know how he does it!

Oh! what a great Professor and well understanding instructor? I never regret of taking this class but rather enhanced my knowledge. You can never be tired in his class and he is a very listening teacher who always there for any students. I wish to know him more because he is one in millions, a very good teacher indeed.

Professor Fiorella is extremely nice and understanding! his class is an easy A as long as you do the work and communicate with him. He lets the students interact a lot so class is more of a class discussion with the occasional activity. He's also pretty funny when he's being blunt. Overall he's an awesome professor

Mr. Paul is a great teacher. The Vocab and 3 facts are very easy to do. I checked out the book at the library to use it for the homework; it was no problem. As long as you do all the assignments, homework, and tests you will get the points to reach an A. Ask for the necessary PowerPoint chapters before class; it will be helpful for the tests.

Mr. Paul is an amazing professor, he gives you every opportunity to bring up your grade, but you still have to study for quizzes and exams, gives extra credit for every exam which makes it easier for you get high grades on the exams. Highly recommend him.

His way of teaching is very effective, he gets the students involved and makes sure you understand what is being taught, he makes us of power points with images for better understanding of the contents. Quizzes and test are super easy, all from the power points. He also provide various opportunities to earn extra credits.

This dude is cool as hell, he is lenient with homework gives at least a day or two for it, you can come in late and u sign ur own attendance, he is a fun teacher man, like if you fail that is totally your fault his lectures are cool and easy and he is a funny dude. I definitely recommend him to whoever taking a drama class or anything related.

Mr. Fiorella is awesome! He made it nearly impossible to fail. Vocabulary homework assignments almost every class, but makes up for it with no final if you have an A (which is not hard at all to achieve). He also offers extra credit. No textbook is needed, you can look vocab up online. He's hilarious and makes the class enjoyable, even at 8 am.

Mr. Paul is a very understanding and caring professor. He grades fair and gives numerous of opportunities to turn in assignments. His lectures are worth listening too as well as taking the class. Overall, you learn something when your having fun.

You have to accumulate a certain number of points in order to get an A , which I got done before Thanksgiving. You also watch a lot of good movies for his film class. The tests are similar to the quizzes so pay attention. Other than that it's an easy A

Mr. Paul teaches clearly, and is very accommodating to a student's needs in the class. His class schedule is very precise and available to all students, so you know exactly what to expect from day 1. His personality and patience, as well as his knowledge of the drama department, really stands him out as one of the best professors offered at TCC. A+

Mr Paul is the best teacher I have had at TCC. He gave us the option of once we have an A in his class that we no longer have to show up. He is funny, most of the class work is completion based and the tests are not that hard so long as you show up to lecture and read the PowerPoint.

Great class, great professor! Took him for his intro to Cinema course, and found that it was fairly easy material but he really made sure his students understood in order to help them get a good grade. Extra credit opportunities and most of the homework is completion.

When you walk into class, you're greeted by him with a 'Good morning'. As class begins, he'll cracks a joke about the lecture here and there to keep the class awake. The homework is a lot even but it's extremely easy so it's not really a problem. He gives extended homework days to everyone and if you need a longer extension, he most likely will.

Really really sweet guy, he knows most people who take this class aren't looking to major in it so he tells you what he expects and if you do it you'll be done with this class before finals week so you can study for more pressing/challenging courses. A really good choice if you need an arts credit.

Lectures are super long. Graded by a point system. Do all of your hw early, show up for quiz/test days, do the extra credit and you can leave the class with an A and not have to show up the rest of the semester or final day. Super easy class to pass. Hella long vocab hw but worth it when you get the A and be done with the class 3-4 weeks early!

Loved this professor! I have never been too into film,but did need a credit and I am so glad I took him! He made me really enjoy the subject and he is hilarious and easy to listen to and learn from! great professor! he tries to truly teach you about theatre in many ways . I like it when he teaches the class , i took the summer class. It was short but i learned alot. Make sure to turn in youre assignments before hand, and do youre extra credit assignments. I regret doing the presentation, but its really not hard once i saw it done.

By far the BEST professor in all of the TCC campuses. Professor Fiorella makes his own PowerPoint out of the book for the class. All you have to do is take light notes. Theres no easier class than this one. His lectures are entertaining and enjoyable. Never a dull moment. Quizes and test are open note. You cannot get a better professor.

Felt awkward at beginning of the semester, but hilarious in own way of teaching, he got a lot of experience, knowledgeable and can also provide enough information if you are pursuing a career in acting or theater. Overall the experience was good, I believe there should have been group activities, as it's all about theater, communication matters.

Mr. Paul's lectures inspired me to look beyond what's on screen to the inner workings of cinema. Always have time to answer questions in and out of class. Liberal grading criteria. His upbeat personality and professionalism served him well when a few times, a couple of students acted rude and disrespectful when he was lecturing. I give him an A+.

Hands down one of the best instructors at the school. There's a lot of work but it's as simple as being a college student and commiting to it, otherwise why bother being a college student. This class teaches the ins and outs of cinema, so if looking for Hollywood this is definetely the place to start.

Mr. Fiorella was inspiring and a wealth of knowledge, also very engaging. You will learn more than you ever thought about cinematology and will definitely view movies, film and photography differently after this class. Sometimes has a potty mouth but overall is a great teacher. If you are interested in film, he is the prof. for you!

I really enjoyed his class. He talks a lot and will call on you to use you as an example. You have to write a lot of vocabulary but its not bad. Quizzes are easy as long as you pay attention to the lecture. You will watch films and have a worksheet to go with it.

Mr. Fiorella is a great professor. Stagecraft is the best class i have every taken. If you ever wanted to know how theater worked (lights, costumes, makeup) you want to take this class. And if you are serious about doing theater, you could even help with the production that semester. He is a kind and caring person, and will always help in any way.

Stagecraft 2 was a fun class. You take it alongside Stagecraft 1, but you have your own curriculum you and Mr. Fiorella collaborate on. You get to go in depth and immerse yourself fully into what you want to do in theater. Going from just helping in a show, to designing an aspect. A great learning experience that will help me at university.

Took as a Summer 1 class, we missed out on hearing his lectures. At the beginning he sets up a clear calendar and his expectations are easy to follow along. He provides power points over each chapter that have a quiz. He is a caring teacher and provides a detailed daily email and will answer your questions. Highly Recommend

This class is great! As long as you read the chapters, and or use the PowerPoints, the class is very simple. Most, if not all assignments, are open note. For my semester, we chose our own films for the most of the questionnaires which just had questions pertaining to the previously read chapter. He also offers a lot of extra credit opportunities.

I loved this class. The textbook is necessary to help with context but the powerpoints are very easy to understand. Take notes because you are able to use them on quizzes. If you have a question or concern, he gets back to you fairly quickly. I would 100% take this class.

We had two big projects and then three little ones. You will get to do everything from costume design to make up! It was a lot of fun!

This prof was cool, laid back. Had quizzes but he let you know when and you can use handwritten notes. In exams, you can use your quizzes, and the final is the same. Do well on the quizzes and you do well on the exams. One major paper due but have plenty of time to do it. Would take this class again, I not a good sch person and I got an A. Take him

Profressor Fiorella was an amazing professor. I took his Drama appreciation course and it was very fun learning about movies and what goes on during and behind the scenes of movies. There is a textbook required but his lectures are pretty simple if you pay attention and take notes. Get ready for weekly quizzes but he allows notes so do notes.

I gave him a 2 in difficulty because he makes it very easy to understand what he wants and gives a ton of extra credit which I recommend you do. He has high standards but with effort you can do it!

GOATED. The most chill professor I've had by far. His quizzes are done in class but you can use the PowerPoints. If he can't give the one day he'll email it for you to do it at home. Tests are open note and you can use virtual notes but you can't use the PowerPoints but just take good notes and you'll pass. Definitely take his class

Drama is an easy A but Professor Paul would go off on students for no reason. Like at the end of the semester, My class did nothing but talk in a quiet voice (which he said we can) and he was extra mad and turned red for no reason.

You are allowed to use notes taken from his powerpoints, when you take quizzes and exams. His lectures are amazing and you won't get bored since he is hilarious. He is an amazing proffesor! I def reccomend!!

Mr Paul is extremely passionate about theater. While I initially was reluctant about the course, he made theater interesting and you can tell he is very knowledgeable about the subject he teaches. Any hateful reviews he may receive are undeserved and the students writing them are undoubtedly not keen on acquiring a thorough education.

Mr. Paul is one of those classes you shouldn't take lightly, his course consistence of 15 weekly quizzes (which you can use the slides on but not on the exams), 4 exams (including the final) that he lets you use handwritten notes on or an ebook for the exams, there is a critique essay with guidelines. Mr. Paul welcomes all ideas and opinions.

Mr. Paul's class is not one to be taken for granted. His passion for what he teaches is something I have seen so rarely. In addition to that, students are allowed to use hand-written notes on quizzes and tests. There is one critique, which has a clear rubric. It's challenging to dislike Mr. Paul, as he is accepting of all opinions.

Amazing!! Had a 10-question open notes quiz for every lecture and 4 open note exams. A questionnaire for every film, so seven in all but is easy if you pay attention and answer it while watching it. He will answer any questions you have even on the quiz. Overall, if you want a not too easy but definitely not too hard class take this one!!
