he's VERY easy. you're allowed to miss class 6 times unexcused. he tells you exactly what to write down and exactly what is going to be on the tests. there is a review session the class before every test so you will know exactly what to study. take him!! very nice and helpful too!!

Granahan was amazing. I transfered to a new school recently and by some freak chance had the oppertunity to speak at legnth with some of the philosophy professors here, and Granahan by far beats them all. He's clear, entertaining, and def. knows what he's doing and how to explain it so you can understand. He's a joy to be taught by.

Lectures are extremely hard to stay awake to and he is very repetitive which makes him confusing at times. Review sessions before the test helps and you basically have to repeat exactly word-for-word on the bluebooks to get a good grade. Don't recommend if you actually want to learn something, though.

He is a really great guy. I highly suggest this class. It's not hard at all if you read the book, take notes, and study. The tests consists of eight short essays but you only have to do four of them. He makes the stuff interesting and you have to love his sense of humor.

He covers material well and recaps it a lot and goes over basically what questions you could be asked on the test about so you just study the easy ones or the ones you have a lot of

If I could take Granahan over and over again I would. Class consists of 3 tests (33.3% each). The tests have 8 questions and you only have to pick 4 of them. He gives you all 8 questions before hand. The tests are all writing and usually require more then the hour given. he will stay with you until you have finished. I took 2 hours for each test.

Granahan is the man. He really knows his stuff and he's also very helpful and approachable. The class itself was pretty simple. I slept several class periods away, but still did fine on the tests. As long as you pay attention to the reviews, you should be fine.

Granahan was the best. So clear in what he wanted from you and gave you the material that you were going to be tested on. He expected no fluff and as long as you took notes and wrote what he asked you to write about on the test, he gave you an A. Very friendly and wants all to succeed.

The best philosophy teacher you could have. I took him for philosophy and now I have him for ethics. No homework, allowed to cut 6 classes. He gives 2-3 a semester which are exactly a rewrite of your notes (he gives the essay questions the day before the test during a review) Can be boring, but an easy A for sure

Legit easiest teacher I had at Scranton. Tells you everything you need to know in the review classes and allows you to miss 3 weeks of classes. It's semi boring but you can be on your phone or laptop the whole time. Just pay attention in the review classes

There's a lot of note taking but as long as you pay attention (which isn't very hard to do he gives a fun class) you will be fine. His tests are essays but don't let that scare you because he tells you exactly what he will be asking.

Paul is a great guy and a great prof. My only problem with him is his grading is quite unclear. He wants you to put in as much detail as you can on the tests (which I did) and took points off. His reasoning was that he wanted MORE detail. How much more detail do I need? I wrote like 5 pages on the test and still end up with an A-.

Very easy class. Get on his good side in the beginning and he will grade your papers better- just show him you care. VERY boring lectures but try to make the most of it and have him proofread a copy of your paper before officially turning it in (this got me a 100, every time).
