Though his subject is tough, he gives you plenty of study guides, q&a's, students recommendations, and other study tips. you have to be dedicated to this class and really take the time to study (which i wish i did more of). class is never boring and you are guaranteed to laugh everyday! 1 of the best teachers I've had

Paul is now one of my all time favorite teachers. He very clearly explains how to do well in his class and if you do it you WILL succeed. He provides plenty of study materials. He is very knowledgeable about his subject and obviously loves teaching. He has you do a workbook so you have to really apply concepts. I absolutely recommend him!

Paul is very clear and very witty/funny in his teaching. However, his tests were very hard and required you to have an in depth understanding of the material beyond just his lectures. There is no homework, only test points--so to be successful you do need to put in the study time. Economics was hard for me, but I do think he is a great teacher.

He is a funny guy and gets along great with his students. That is the only upside. No homework, so grade is purely based on incredibly difficult tests. You can't pass without studying his 30 page study-guides for each test. Tests have a lot more things on them then are covered in class.

Professor Harvell is an awesome teacher. While your grades are mostly based on test scores, they're not too difficult if you're attentive and use the study guide. Economics can be difficult, but he is a fair professor and keeps the class entertaining. His classes are also hard to fail (for instance, a 75% is a B and 65% is a C). Difficult A though.
