This guy is crazy but he is awesome!! Take him for your science requirements. His jokes are funny and he tells a lot of stories, some educational, some sickening. HE'S COOL!

I am at Loyola University now and I can't believe how much Paul taught me.I still use the study habits and notes that he gave me. All those little sayings have paid off for me. Sometimes I feel like calling him when I have a problem. U will remember him

There is a lot of info to learn, but Paul evenly distributes it, and makes class fun. I am smarter after taking his class, and I have become a better seductive dancer after watching Paul show us his moves in class. Thanks, Paul!

Paul is a great teacher. He is a lot of fun and he goes over the lessons over and over again, tying it all together. the only thing is he covers A LOT of material, so it's hard to get it all down. bring crayons.

My favorite teacher while at wright. Not an easy class and he will make you work for your grade but not a mean teacher at all. He makes class a joy to be in. I wish all my professors could be this great! Theres a reason he wins teacher of the year award almost every year!

There are some teachers with boring everyday assignments, but everyday there was always something different with Paul. He had more dance moves, new songs to sing in class. It was Club Bilology!! He made the class very very interesting. I would take him again ..

"Uncle Paul" (as he calls himself) is so nice, genuine, and caring. I took this class online, but we met two Saturdays for 7 hour lab sessions--he's so funny that the time seemed to fly by. Study for the tests and do your work on time and you'll do fine. He's not out to fail you, and will bend over backwards to help you succeed.

Janus has both + & -. Too much of a work load, condescending @ times, sexually inappropriate with male students..if he could get thru those bad traits he would be a phenominal teacher. He needs therapy. Has good, raw teaching skills..let's get his issues cleaned up. Was very close to reporting him.

One of the greatest teachers i have ever had, u will work for ur grade, but he has & will take the time to explain. If u think it will be a breeze, u'll be surprised, so only if u need one of his classes then take him, but remember that he is the GREATEST CUBS' FAN ALIVE!

He's a good teacher but his class involves a LOT of work and studying. Not a good class to take if you are a full-time student and a full-time worker. Time consuming. He did make class enjoyable to be in. His dance moves are the Best.

Janus is the ideal Community College professor. He knows his material backward and forward. He is a clown and makes classes fun for kids who might not want to be there. He designs his courses to make material sink in despite student laziness. If you need a BIO requirement, DO take one of his courses - can't miss part of the Wright experience!

Paul is awesome!! The best Prof. I've had at wright. I was afraid of taking science classes, b/c I hated science, but I got an A in his class. The class is hard and be prepared to study. But if you study the exam review sheet you should be fine. He gives extra credit too. Don't buy the book, you don't need it. He gives you like 300 pages of notes.

I took him for human bio. He is so funny and keeps you interested. You take turns baking a snack for break time. His tests are really hard tho. You have to study a lot. But hes funny n really smart, he's also helpful. I got a C in his class but i did bad on a lot of tests, I got an A on hw + labs and an A on the term paper tho. Id take him again.

Paul Rox!!!He is one of the most intelligent, funniest, and genuine teachers at Wright College. Take his class, you won't regret it.

Took the class over the summer where he packs a full semester worth of material into 8 weeks. Great teacher, funny, keeps the class moving and dynamic. Gives a lot of examples during lecture that help make things clear.

i have to agree with all these other comments. long class and a lot of material to cover, but a wonderful teacher, he basically gives you the answers to the tests! highly recommend him for anatomy! he has people bring in snacks for breaks so you never go hungry!

This teacher has a passion for this class. He is an absolutely wonderful teacher who really raises the bar for others, if all teachers were like him the world would be a better more educated place.

He is a good teacher, but he is Horible at calculating grades! Don't believe the "10 pts xtra credit for break snack" lie cause he doesn't give extra credit in the end. He is very easy but KEEP TRACK OF YOUR GRADE! most of my classmates received a letter grade lower than they deserved!

Good teacher, follow his notes and test / quizzes will come easy. Leave your feelings at home because he will challenge them. I took the 50 / 50 class and the on-line portion looks allot but it's really EASY!

He is an amazing guy! He is soo funny and will pick on like 2 students the whole semester. He uses our every actions to make us understand and remember the material. Also, no book is needed. He prints out his notes and basically gives you the notes+quizzes+exams+take home exam and study sheet for final with answers written in it. TAKE HIM!

this guy is a hoot great teacher kinda hard thou but all you gotta do is study from the study book that he provides.

Alot of notes and sometimes it is hard. But u just have to study the stack of notes that he gives you at the start of the semester. The tests and quizes are really easy because it is all on the study guide. the Q's are in order :)

This professor is so much fun! He had me entertained the whole semester! I hate biology but he made it very interesting! You stay awake in class because you color the notes non-stop! He picks on students but if youre sensitive, dont take it because he'll probably make you cry. If I had to take another biology class, I'd definitely have him again

I had Dr. Janus srping of 2007 and he was the most memorable teacher I have ever had in my enitre life. His lectures are stapled in my brain. As an English major, he made Human Biology one of my favorite subjects. His humor is not for the faint of heart,but his tough love pays off.Best professor ever!

FANTASTIC!!! This Professor is HILARIOUS!!! I hope he starts to teach other biology courses. I have a lot of school to left and I will be checking to see if he is at my university. lol. Paul is great. Get used to it, he'll tell you as much. His sense of humor made an otherwise unbearable topic one of the classes I most looked forward to. He's super clear about what you need to know and what you need to study, and is just as unforgiving if you haven't bothered to study. If you're willing to do the coursework, this is a prof for you

I was scared at first going into his class because he gives you a big packet the first day of school, but if you attend everyday you will see that it is helpful because he explains the material over and over. he prepares his students for the quizes and test. he is very funny

I loved Paul! He made my summer class great- except the workload was over the top with quizzes/exams every week. Wish I could have taken him during a regular semester. He's hilarious, organized, generous, and blunt. But he's not very confrontational and gets irritated easily + lacks basic grammar skills! Everyone should experience his class though

Best teacher I've ever had in my life. I HATED anything that had to do with science, but Paul taught in such a way that I understood everything and now I love it! He uses colored pencils (good technique) and he's outrageously funny! lol. He prepares you for test and quizzes and repeats stuff a lot so that you understand. TAKE HIS CLASS :)

He was awesome! It was a summer course so super face paced. He uses his print out text book, no need to spend 100+. study before tests and do the homework you'll get an A. Super friendly and really funny. I wish his 114 class fit in my class schedule. Gives a lot of test extra credit. Goes over everything in 3 medias. Awesome! :-)

Biology has became one of my favorite subjects thanks to Paul!I enjoyed Paul's artistic technique of using colored pencils.

Summer course was condensed from 16 to 8 weeks. Intense and fun. Paul Janus made us all sweat and laugh at the same time. I TOTALLY recommend this course if you are willing to earn an 'A' no matter what.

Paul is a GREAT Teacher! He made the semester go by smooth. Lets you know ahead of time what to expect from the first day of class. Attendance is mandatory, study for quizzes, exams and you should be fine. A must take class.

Professor Janus is a great professor, not taking his course would be a big mistake in your college education. BIo 115 inspired me to major in Biology, also to make healthy decisions when it comes to the human body.His summer course is great! Thanks Paul!

He is the best teacher I ever had. I learn so much from his class and I still remember a lot from his lectures 2 years later.. I learn more in his class than in Anatomy1 and 2. He makes the class funny, enjoyable and the things you learn are stacked in your head for a very long time.
