Guys communication skills are superb. You feel like your partners at a firm when you're in his class, rather then an authority figure speaking down to you.

If Ari Gold and Lewis Black had a baby it would be Morgan. He's the greatest professor. Easy to understand, really cares about his students and makes you want to go to class each week. If you have the chance to take this class take it, even if there's no reason to.

MBA course- "Law for Managers". Great class- very interesting material and he is a very fun and entertaining teacher. Would definitely recommend any of his classes either at the graduate or undergrad level.

One of the best professors at UAlbany. Morgan explains the material through real life examples. The class is 3 hours long but he only goes till 7:30 usually. attendance is mandatory if you want to get an A. don't buy the textbook. This class is definitely worth taking.

Don't use any powerpoint slides because everything that he says is on the test. Therefore, you really don't need to buy the book. Only has a mid-term, or what he calls it "quizzy-poos" and final. Kind of tricky though. Attendance is based on a sign-in sheet. Uses funny examples to keep the class awake and interested. He is a fookin. beast!

Amazing class. I took it as a junior in college, I'm currently a 1L, and I still remember what he taught me. If you're even considering going to law school, take Morgan's Trusts and Estates class. It will help you soooo much in your 1L property class, and even if you don't want to go to law school, take it anyway! He rocks.

There is no surpise to his exams. You need to know the material well and he provides a review sheet that covers the material on the exam. Exremely fair. I am not a A student but received an A. His lectures are never boring.

Class average over 80 after the curve. Many told me they got As. Very informative class. You have as good a chance to get an A in this class as any on campus. Funny lectures.

If you attend class, take precise notes, incl. his examples, and study longer than 30 minutes, you can absolutely get an A. Like most things in life, memorizing isn't enough--you have to apply the concepts, which isn't difficult if you write down the examples he gives. Excellent Professor, wonderful course. I don't see how people can complain bout Morgan. His tests can be hard but if you simply go to class and actually sit and READ his review sheet there should be no problems. He's always available out of class as you can call him or text him practically whenever. Topshelf Professor.

Morgan is the best professor I had at UA. He gives his cell phone number to all of his 700 students, is available an hour before class, and is crystal clear during lecture. Just sit back and let the wave hit you. He enjoys what he does which makes going to class easy. You're stupid if you don't take this class. Also, his curves are legendary.

Paul Morgan Jr. cares about his students. He is hilarious and kind. I wish I had him now that I'm in grad school at an Ivy League school-but I doubt he'd relocate.

If you have to take Business law or even want to you must take it with Morgan. He is the coolest professor you will ever have. I had him for freshman year and he took off so much pressure I had. If you bring him food every class you will have a great semester. Just show up and you'll get that A.

It was so refreshing to have a truly gifted lecturer finally in the program, even though it was one of my last semesters. One of the things he said initially that really rang true to me was, people don't learn if they are bored, which I think is completely true. He made Business Law entertaining and interesting. Wish he taught all the classes.

Only give 2 Tests during the semester and makes sure that you are overly prepared for them. As long as you go to class he will tell you the what to write down and to study. He has a bunch of in class stories that make the class move along quickly. Also doesnt keep you for the full 3 hours. Test tend to be challenging. Best teacher

I am now a 2L at a top law school and working for a trusts/estates attorney. I took Morgan's trusts estates class senior year of undergrad bc i was told i had to experience morgan. He was fantastic. His class isn't easy, he's just a great teacher that overly prepares you for fair exams. Professors everywhere have a lot to learn from him

There is a midterm and a final..50 questions each. He even gives you his phone number so that you can text him and ask him questions about the class.

I took every class he taught 220,320, 422.I'm upset my last semester at UA I will not be taking one of his class. He is amazing. Although I'm his teaching style is not for everyone. It is so refreshing to have a professor just tell you straightforward this is what you have to know and I'm just going to tell you about it. With this said, the class content is not easy and you have to show up to class and give him your full attention

Morgan's class is the by far the best class I've taken at Albany if not in my whole entire college career. Morgan keeps your attention throughout the lectures and prepares your for the exams. As long as you go to class and take notes you will get an A. Highly recommend the class, even as an elective. I LOVE HIM.

Morgan's class is the most amazing thing in the educational world. I had him on a Monday night between 5:45 and 8:35, a time that any student would hate to have class. Morgan however makes you want to be there and engages the students in a way that capitvates any student. His teaching methods work and if you show up you will be rewarded with an A.

If you don't pass his class, you are trying to fail. Show up, take notes when he tells you to, and study them 20 minutes a day the week before his tests. That's all there is to it. If you don't get something you can call or text him and he always gets back to you and makes sure you understand it. Also, he is hilarious. No textbook or homework.

Literally, I kid you not. this man is amazing. I even heard of him before taking the class. There are two exams and that is your final grade. On the first, I got a 62. I always came to class but I wasn't engaged. So I sat in the front, where he learned my name. So helpful! I became in tuned in every lecture, and received a 94 on the final

Professor Morgan is by far one of the best professors that I have had at this university. His expectations are crystal clear - if you show up to every class and pay attention, the class shouldn't be a problem for you. I would highly recommend taking a class with Morgan, even if you don't need it.

His tests are trickier than he leads you to believe. This class is not an easy A, it's an easy B. I wouldn't take this class if you're actually interested in business law, he kind of just rambles with funny stories and a few examples of the material. You really never study that much or have anything to study. He's a great guy other than that.

Very good professor. He works to help you pass, he doesn't want anyone getting lower than a C. There are only 2 tests for the entire class so you have to pay attention in lectures, but he makes it easy to pay attention.

I'm just a first semester Freshman and I might not have much experience, but I have a strong feeling that he will be the best professor I will ever have while at University at Albany. The class grade is based on 2 things, Attendance and Test Grades. There is one mid term and one final. Do well in both, and you do great. You need to come to class.

Morgan is the kind of guy who makes learning easy. Everything is right out of his mouth, no powerpoint/book so you have to listen/go to class. He tells you everything that's gonna be on the test in the form of facts but the test is all multiple choice, applying the facts so it can be kinda hard but in the end everyone gets A's and B's

Morgan is an interesting professor. There is no textbook use at all in this class or power points. He is very funny to listen too. Doing well I think is important depending on what kind of student you are. If you need a textbook or a powerpoint to review on not for you. If you can do well listening and taking notes then this is for you.

Amazing professor

Best Professor I've had so far. His class is only based off of two grades- the midterm and the final, which at first seems intimidating but it's not so bad because there's no unnecessary busywork! He is hilarious. Have to attend class to do well. Sometimes he can be confusing, but lets you text him if you have a question! Morgan is awesome!!

Funny guy. No homework, only two tests which are all multiple choice. He tells you what's on the test almost word for word. We only met once a week, for two hours despite the fact that it was supposed to be three. Everyone should take Morgan's class.

This guy is absolutely hilarious and teaches the course in a concise way that is easy to understand.

He literally told us the test word for word right before the test. This guy is definitely the best professor in UAlbany. Not only is he a professor, he's a judge for the upper New York district and therefore has first hand experience in one's happening in courts from all sides. He gives you a unique nickname in class if you sit in the first 3 rows.

This is the best class to take PERIOD. Morgan is so sweet and he ACTUALLY cares about all his students. He's the type of professor you want to know for the rest of your life. There only 2 Test which you get graded on and yes there is a curve on each test about 10-12 points on the test. He also curves the final grade up about 10-25 points. Overall an easy A. The only way to fail is to not show up to class.

Learned more in this class than any other and didn't even take the class for credit. Took the exams for fun and made an A. You have to attend class for the jokes alone. He is funny and makes learning so easy. Will give you a nickname and steal your candy (but sharing is caring). Wish there was a Morgan major where you could take only his classes :)

Morgan is such a great professor! If you're taking him for BLAW220, don't worry--that class will never go past 7:15. There is virtually 0 work to be done outside of class and he makes note sheets for you; during lectures, he tells you exactly what to add on to the note sheets. He is always available outside of class to help with whatever.

Morgan honestly is the best professor in the school. The class is scheduled for 3 hours but honestly, he cuts it by 30-40 minutes every class and even more sometimes. I have never been so engaged in a lecture before he makes it so interesting that time flies by very quickly and he is hilarious. Don't regret not taking this class.

The best! He does not assign HW, but all the notes come from him talking in class. Super compelling so he makes the 1hr 45mins in each class super fun (oh, you get out by 7:30 pm the latest each night, over an hour early). I can't wait to take a class with him again. Business Law became my easiest class and even online his personality and character shined through, a very funny guy. Cares about his students so much and HUGE CURVE ON MIDTERM. No assignments, just midterm and final that's it no quizzes either. Outstanding man.

Morgan basically tells you what is on the exams, but it is up to you to put up the effort to actually learn it. He doesn't give out homework or BS work to fill up a curriculum. His teaching style may not be for everyone, but everyone seems to like it.

He won’t take attendance but you will want to go to the lectures if you want to pass, no slides or textbook and he tells you what will be on his tests and will make it clear what to write in your notes. His stories are pretty interesting and go along with the lecture (sometimes) and is one of those professors you’d remember after you graduate.

Paul Morgan deserves as award for being the most amazing professor out there. He sends each student an outline for the midterm and final exam. On both he goes through each answer, so all you do in class is fill out the review sheet. He gives answers to questions on the test.

Morgan was the best professor I had at UAlbany for my first semester. I don't know exactly why I was put in the class because I had no interest in Business Law or any of the content that he was teaching, but he made it really fun to learn. He's a stellar professor. Go to the lectures, write down what he tells you to, have fun, and you're golden.

When you come to class you don't need anything but your notebook or laptop to take notes. He doesn't use lecture slides. He will email you an outline for the midterm and final and teach you based off that. He will make the lectures fun and entertaining and 9 times out of 10 you won't be there for the full 2 hrs and 50 mins.

You don't need a textbook at all in this class. Paul Morgan is probably my favorite professor I've had so far. It is very important to go to class since he doesn't have slides, he literally just teaches. I promise you, you will hear his very loud voice in your head during the test he gives. Very cool guy. Class should be ~3 hours, never takes longer than 1.5 hours. Clearly outlines everything that will be on the test. No textbooks or homework. Attendance is mandatory to receive the curve on the test, but if you have to miss a class he is very understanding and will send you a recording of the lecture. Almost impossible not to pass.

it dosent matter what class you take him for, he's an awesome professor. He gives the answers to the quiz-epoos and his number, which i still text to this day. If you actually give a crap about attending class and moderately listen, then youll do fine.

This has been one of my most enjoyable classes so far! Professor Morgan cares for his students and it reflects from his grading and class lectures. He makes his lectures enjoyable and interesting, that makes you want to know more. His class relates a lot to the outside world and I have applied his teachings to the outside world. Only 2 exams make up ur entire grade. Curves a bunch and gives you a answer for free of ur choice on exams. Thought I failed but I somehow got a 90 on my midterm. Lectures drag but if u take notes u will be just fine. I only took this class because I saw him posted up with his corvette lol. Wish we could've spoken about his cars.
