Great Teacher. Get him for any sociology class you can. He is incredibly easy and he lets class out early all of the time. You actually learn a lot also. An easy A for anyone who can write a paper.

Great teacher. Amusing and keeps your attention. Take-home mid-terms and excellent note handouts for every lecture. Highly recommend.

I have all good things to say except that his class can be pretty boring sometimes. He is a cool professor. His tests are all papers. Definitely take this class or another one of his. I'm taking another class with him next semester. Greatly recommeded.

easy class, adds random funny comments, tries to make the class as fun as possible..take home midterm and final one 12 page paper, easy to write though. Make sure you turn off your cell phone cause he likes to answer them. Take any class with him

GREAT CLASS. This guy keeps you entertained and thinking. It's exceptionally easy, i got an A on the midterm papers and did them both the night before. Very clear, he gives you the paper print outs of his power point presentations. No notes!

He's a great teacher, and anyone should take this class. He's pretty funny and you do some experiments that can be funny also. Be prepared to write three papers, but they're not too bad, as long as you understand what we learned in class

Very friendly and laid back. He makes learning fun. He does let you out of class early sometimes and the Midterm was a take home. If you need a 300 level SOCI clas, take Munroe.

Awesome professor. I would highly recommend Dr. Munroe. He is really funny. The sociology methods class isn't too bad with him. He explains what he wants very clearly. Good luck!

Dr. Munroe puts this class together very well. 'lab's are hilarious and get the point. material pertinent to everyday life. the 3 12 page papers in the class are easy if you know whats going on. but don't skip class, he takes it personally. Dr. Munroe still a very cool teacher to have

Great teacher. You do three 12 pages papers and thats it. The papers are written about personal experiences and applying a theory to them. Relativly easy course to get an A in.

I love this man! He is so funny and a really great teacher. Gives the option of takehome midterm and final-do the takehome, very easy. One 12 page paper, not bad at all. He plays music in class and gives you the powepoint presentations so u dont have to take notes. Labs are easy-and if u participate u get extra credit. Take him! Cute too :)

This was the best Sociology class I have ever taken. It was really good and it was a lot of fun. We did labs periodically but for the most part it was lecture. There are three papers in total. One term paper and the midterm and final are take home in long essay form. This is a Sociology class worth taking.

Excellent class...only 3 papers.. will clarify various concepts in society...very fun...prof. very easy on the eyes..

this class was funny...... when a cell phone rang he picked it up in the middle of class and he also looks out the door where the student looks.........overall he is good teacher,2 take tome essay tests and term paper but easy to bs your way through

Very nice teacher. doesnt count attendence but will point you out in front of the class if you show up late or ask for materials taht were given during the class you missed. He is easy going, will explain things and help with ideas on the papers. I am currently taking him for socl 391, I deffinetly plan on getting him for as many class' as i can.

he is a great professor. if you study and pay attention you'll do fine on the tests (midterm and final). research paper has 5 sections but you turn a couple sections at a time throughout the semester. he has a charming way of making a point. you'll enjoy this class!

Dr. Munroe is AWESOME. I had him when he first started at Towson.He presents material in a fun/entertaining/interesting way.He used to pass out dictionaries to people and once he let the class out early and encouraged people to reconvene at Bateman's instead (nobody showed up and we all felt bad about it afterwards).

Fun and interesting course. 3 papers at least 12pages in length. Not to hard to do though considering their content. Interesting course & fun instructor. Attendance not mandatory. Chill Laid-back class... good to take with a heavy course load. Gives great insight into everyday life. Good life-skills type course.

He's cute! He doesn't take attendance ut you should go if you want to do well in his class. I really didn't read the book other than using it for my project but you should still get it. He's a nice guy and he'll work with you if you need help.

He's a very laid-back individual. He doesn't take any crap from students though, he'll call you out. He explains the material very well and his tests are an average level of difficulty. Overall great class and professor.

i adore him. hes so sweet funny cute-as-a-button but really knows the info and very well established in the soci community. breaks down info so its easy to understand.

Very funny guy and easy to get along with. Class can be dry but he makes it interesting. For the people that complain about papers sociology is all about report writing so get used to it. I highly recommend this professor.

Definitely an intro class, if you just read on your own class doesn't even seem necessary.Lectures are boring even though he is a quirky guy. 3 or more absences and then a point off your total grade each time after. 2 midterms and 1 final plus 3 one page peer reviewed journal summaries (easy). all exams are multiple choice, an easy A if you try.

While this wasn't the most exciting class, it was easy to understand and he prepared us well for the tests. Pretty good teacher overall.

Great prof. Do the paper on something you really want to do when you graduate. You turn it in by sections so its not a whole paper at once. He is always available to help you out. Very funny and cool. Luv him

Not a bad class. There are 3 12pg min papers you have to write which might sound overwhelming but he tells you exactly how to format it and what he wants. Quote/cite from the readings in the pprs. He is an interesting professor, kind of odd but not in a bad way. I recommend this class.

I would take this teacher in every class he teaches. He's obviously passionate about the subject and the labs are a riot. It was the only class I never missed. The papers are not bad at all, a third is just a story. They're really actually quite easy and he's not a hard grader

I love this prof! He is so funny and always gives real examples of each theory he talks about. His 12 pg papers are the only grades and are simple, just follow directions! Easy grader, just cite from the book!! Wish he taught more classes I need!!

P. Munroe is the man! My favorite at Towson. His class is very interesting and he does a good job helping you understand the lectures. He relates a lot to his life & is extremely funny. You have 3 twelve page papers but honestly they are very easy. In the papers you talk about your life & copy the notes from powerpoints. TAKE HIM

Easy class. Material is a little boring but he is fun to listen to. The only real work is 3 12-page papers, but you get to pick 3 out of 4 to do. Very easygoing. Took attendance every class but I'm not sure if he penalizes for absence. Didn't seem like it. Final is based on songs that relate to the material. I chose to take another class of his too

I loved his class! was so much fun and very interesting! not exams or paper! only thing is 3 papers that are 12 pages each but the way he breaks it down is super easy! and on top of that these papers arent like research papers. you just take a situation and then analyze it through the theories that you get for each section! super easy!

Took two of his courses at the same time. Material can be a little tough to understand but he does a great job on explaining it in terms that students can relate to. If you don't understand something he will go over it until you understand it. 12 page papers but he tells you exactly what he wants. Great guy, funny, awesome teacher!

This is the best sociology teacher at Towson. I have taken 4 classes with him now and all were great! He makes it fun while teaching you what you need to know. Research methods was suppose to be awful but he made it easy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Take methods with Munroe if you can!! The exams are really easy if you show and, pay attention, and look over what he covers on study guide. The paper is broken down into sections so you don't have to sit down and writer 15 pgs at once. He gives excellent feedback so you know exactly how to get an A on paper.

No test except a final. This class really wasn't what I expected. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. The in class labs are interesting. He's a really nice and funny guy but I really didn't enjoy the class itself. 4 12 page papers but they aren't that hard.

Munroe is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He cares so much about his students and wants everyone to do their best. He is extremely helpful. The tests are easy as long as you study and come to class. I would take him again in a heart beat. Stats was one of my biggest stressors but he made it manageable. Great professor!

Loved this class! It isn't what you expect but it is highly interesting. His teaching style is... different. You will have to pay attention to the lectures and really understand what he is talking about. The whole class is 3 12 page papers which are easy to write and a final on songs played in class. Be open minded about this course.

Good at writing? You will pass this class no problem. You do need to go to class however because he does have these labs but no fret, the labs are actually very entertaining! Munroe is entertaining himself until the material gets boring. Take him though because it is an easy A if you go to class and write the papers!

Professor Munroe is freakin awesome. There are no tests in this class only 3 papers thought out the semester two including the midterm and final. He's not a picky grader at all which I loved, as long as you know what you're talking about he'll give you an A. Labs are fun and dome spontaneously so make sure you attend class. Overall awesome guy

Munroe is such a great professor. He doesn't give any tests. The midterm and final and both take home essays. He does labs about four times a semester that include role playing so it's fun and he's pretty goofy so you won't be bored. I would deff take his class again

I loved this class. No tests, just 3 12-page papers. They're really easy and he gives an outline. He makes lectures interesting and connects them to students' lives, He is always willing to answer questions and slow down if needed. Definitely taking a class form him again.

I had him for the intro class and I thought it was great! We had 2 midterms and a final which I thought were really easy. He gets distracted at times but it's pretty funny and his humor makes the class more enjoyable. Just read the textbook and the powerpoints and you're golden.

Sociology 101 was such a great class with this professor. Although he did stray from the topic here and there, we all got the gist and he was always available if you needed him outside of class. He's funny and listens to good music. You may be bored in class though, his lectures are dense.

Taken Munroe for both 313 and 265. His classes are very easy if you keep an open mind about it. At first it seems a bit heavy but he is very lenient grader. Both courses are just all about papers, no tests. Both 313 & 265 overlap and use some of the same theories. Also, skim the readings and put a few quotes in with your papers & you will get an A

He is the most easygoing professor you will ever have. Adds humor into every lesson and just an overall good guy and professor. He makes going to class enjoyable. Definitely would take his SOC212 and SOC313 over again if I could!

You will write papers, be prepared for that. Some of his classes also require getting up in front of the class in awkward labs. Other than that he's an amazing professor. Really nice humble guy, if you need stats make sure to take soci212. Sociology stats. Do not be that guy that his phone out though he will point you out.

Great class, thought statistics would be hard but I literally did about 4 hours of studying a week for this class and received an A

He makes sure you understand the material and makes sure you fully understand before he moves to next subject. He gives 3 tests including the final. homework is really light and tests are easy as long as you come to class and participate and ask questions.

Dr. Munroe is very funny and very knowledgeable in this subject. His class was interesting. Three papers, 12 pages each. Sounds like a lot but they are not very hard. You must participate in the labs, which can be awkward at times.

Professor Munroe is absolutely amazing! You have a total of 4 paper that have to be at least 12 pages long (at least 4 pages per section), but you only have to complete 3 of the 4 papers. There are no tests and the "final" isn't really a final. There will be a total of 14 "labs" and he says that everyone has to participate, but I managed not to

I loved this professor! He is funny and makes class entertaining. He does pop quizzes, they dont count for a grade though. His tests are easy and he gives study guides for all of them. Not a lot of homework and he allows you to fix assignments and resubmit them for a better grade. Overall, no complaints! He is a really good professor

One of the best prof. I would give him 100%. He truly want you pass, understand his lectures. Available and willingly to teach you during office hours if you have concerns or questions. He crack jokes during lectures to easy ur anxiety and encourages students.

Loved this prof. He makes sure you dont fall behind and will help you if you do. He eases the hard lessons/objects with comedy and relatable conversation. He truly cares about his students which is so different compared to other towson profs

Munroe was the most entertaining professor I had this semester. Very engaging lectures, which is good because he does not post the powerpoints and it's really important to pay attention in class. There's only 2 papers and 2 exams, plus attendance for grading, but he gives feedback and makes the exams online so it's not bad at all.

He's great. He keeps lectures interesting and even has us do labs. Don't let that scare you. He chooses who is in them, so you only do one if that. There are three papers. The term paper is long, so start early, but it is very much possible to get it done in one day. He is nice and cares. He will give you oranges, take them.

The lectures were engaging, he does his best to make them interesting. He only grades by having a mid term, a final (which are both take home essays), a term paper, attendance and a few labs in class. He allows the term paper to be turned in twice if you want a better grade. Never had a bad experience in his class, and I looked forward to it.

Professor Munroe keeps lectures engaging with fun labs. There are only a few papers, no tests. The grading is lenient, and unstuckstudy can help with paper prep. Overall, a chill class to take.

Dr. Munroe is a good professor, I enjoyed taking his course. I feel the people who didn't enjoy his course never paid attention. In lectures he always tried to incorporate personal stories which was a nice touch. He can be a bit vague but if you ask him to specify he goes into a lot of detail. He replied to emails pretty fast.

One thing about taking this course is if you participate it makes the class a lot more fun, it gets boring if nobody engages in convo, but I really liked this him, he was always trying to crack jokes. had 3 papers but they were fairly easy and he gives a guideline from lecture slides. make sure to pay attention in class, he doesnt post slides on BB
