Great teacher,does what he cans to help he students.Alot of work involved in this class but it's worth it in the end.

He is a great teacher. Explains things well, pretty laid back but teaches you what you need to know.

he does not make you buy a textbook! you use this online textbook (which is free!) he explains everything very well but you have to go to class every day if you really want to understand whats going on. you have hw every week (not hard) and many exams (also very easy)

took research methods. lots of reading. great guy.

He is a really good professor! He is truly interested in his students learning the subject. He does not get frustrated when students ask him the same question. He will patiently go over any questions you have for him. He gives out homework that is not turned in (for practice). He also doesn't make you buy a book. I really recommend him :)

Dr. Price is a great teacher! This class will no doubt keep you busy but he does a great job making it clear what exactly he wants! He is very helpful & funny! TAKE HIM!

challenging class...because its stats but he is ery helpful and the quizzes every week kept me in check with the chpt. knowledge. the projects were kind of challenging but not too hard.

Price was an awesome teacher. Makes stats easy to understand. Is willing to help you out whenever you need it. Way into studies and psychology but that makes it better if you're not really into math! Awesome professor and there wasnt a textbook... even better!

Great teacher and makes the class seem easier than everyone makes it out to be. Class itself is hard but Price breaks everything down and explains what he expects. Tests are a little tricky but as long as you know the material you will do fine. Only one book and it was like $30. Great teacher... Take 144 with Price!!

Price is the Best! This is a 5 unit class so you should expect some work. The text is very interesting and he makes himself very available for questions. The only warning is do not take lab with his TA stein, she is annoying & rude! You only need to go to the beginning of lab cause you take quizzes.

You dont have to buy a textbook. Its all on blackboard for you to print out. He is extremely good at teaching because he goes step by step so its easy to understand. Tests were easy because most were a,b,c and not a,b,c,d,e.

Prof Price is a good teacher. He is ALWAYS willing to help and lays out the course work clearly. Lectures at times can be boring but he always makes things fun by talk about current events and random stuff. Only complaint would be the tests. They are very difficult even after a few days of studying. Prepare to devote lots of time to the class.

I would highly recommend this professor to anyone taking Psychology 144. Dr. Price only required us to purchase one textbook, How to Think Straight About Psychology. He uses an online textbook that is free for the course. He is extremely helpful. My favorite thing about him is his ability to simplify the subject material. He is a very fair grader.

Amazing Prof. He's a really cool guy and really takes interest in his students. He grades fair and is understandable. His exams are fair; however, you'll only pass if you understand the material whereas if you memorize a vocabulary. overal, take the prof, highly recommended.

Easy one unit class. You will learn the importance of being proactive. Keep up with the discussion topics (as they account for the biggest part of your grade). Awesome class and awesome professor!

Best teacher! He doesn't require to buy a book, he provides an online book. If you do the assignments you will be fine. Test are hard but he does provide a helpful study guide.

His book that he wrote is awfully clear. You a quiz online each week, sometimes he forgets to do one. You can easily get a good grade if you come to class everyday (200 point attendance). His tests are a little tricky, and the experiment you choose to do is fun! Dr. Price is veery helpful and he is chill. I hear he is the easiest psych 144 teacher!

This man is so easy going and down to earth. This class requires a lot of work but he makes it fun. I did not really care for his T/A but he is a great guy!

Price, is a nice guy. However, the amount of work he requires for these classes are ridiculous.Prepare to do a lot of work. Some assignments are easy and some are a headache. He has us completing a book review,and apa formatted paper along with our final exam within the last two weeks of school. Sucks for you if you have other classes!

I agree with the previous comment. BB grades were not up to date all semester. Does give you an apa style paper due the day of his final when he paid a TA to pretty much do the assignment for you and gives you the info last minute. His voice will put you to sleep. I personally enjoyed his guest speakers more than him!

Price is an awesome professor. He's always clear and straight to the point which is what i prefer. There was some work here and there, but wasn't too hard. The class subject was pretty interesting esp. if you are into health. And i liked that he tied some cognitive psych in there as well. He's also laidback and nice. A favorite professor of mines.

Dr. Price is one of the BEST professors at Fresno State (hands down!). He is very thorough and explains things very well! There is a decent amount of work but it's pretty easy. 1 online quiz per week. Multiple choice exam. A research paper (you get to conduct your own research.) Overall, great professor who made the class seem fun.

Friendly prof, very approachable and helpful. Tons of points in the class (w a good deal of extra credit), so no single flub will impact your grade much. I suppose it's a lot of work, but the expectations are always so clear that I found the course fairly easy. If you need 144, take the class from Price.

Great teaching style. Lots of assignments but plenty of time. Attendence is worth like 200 points. I enjoyed him.

Absolutely loved his class. He wrote his own textbook that you use online so no extra cost for the book. He has a lot of small assignments that are fairly simple, read his text and study from the test reviews and you should do fine!

He was very clear. The big research paper was done step by step. You use his book and you read the very short chapters before class. He made this class easy to go through.

This class was intimidating at first but Dr. Price is a really good teacher. There is a lot of work but it is a 5 unit class so that is expected, but if you do all the work show up and really try you can get a good grade. I was 10 points from a B and I didnt really try as hard as I could have.

Dr. Price was very helpful. Even though the class is meant to be hard he made the class so easy. The research paper and the experiment was divided step by step. Tests were hard but he does gives you a lot of opportunities to make up for bad grade. I would highly recommend him for psych 144.

I love professor Price! I was so scared to take this course because I do not do well when it comes to Stats. Dr. Price was helpful and his office was always open. His lectures were structured and he's pretty funny. Makes sure you understand the material. I would have loved it if he taught more Psych classes. Wish more professors were like him.

There are quite a few papers to write but this is a 5 unit class with a lab. Must attend labs and class because you are docked points if you don't show up. Vey interesting class and labs were great.

Pretty good professor. Class had the potential to be hard but Price made it a breeze. Gives out a couple extra credit opportunities. Tests were average, you worked in groups which made time go by fast. You also have a lab where you take weekly quizzes and you write your paper in there. Overall pretty good instructor!

If you have to take Psych 144 THIS IS THE PROFESSOR TO TAKE! Put the work in and get the "A". He is very clear on dates and assignments. Paper is broken up into sections, this helps a lot! Book is online, mini online quizzes on reading, short quizzes in lab, 3 exams and 1 final. Generous extra credit! Loved him! He is a great professor!

Dr. Price is great! His lectures are interactive so class goes by fast. His test are everything you would expect to be on there. I very much suggest you (if you want to do well) to read the chapters and complete the quizzes the same week that they are due and have your TA or Dr. Price read over your research project.

Dr. Price was such a great professor! He definitely made this complex course easy and fun. He is very helpful and always willing to help. Would without a doubt take again if I could!

Lectures are enjoyable so far & a lot more easier to understand that I had expected. Price is more than happy to answer any questions you have before, during, or after lecture. Study the activities from lecture to study for exams. The exams are tricky at times, but doable if you study. The paper is done in sections luckily, which is less stressful.

He's such a great professor. I thought that I was going to have a difficult time in this class and he made it way easier than I would have imagined. He helped me out immensely in any topic I didn't understand. He's pretty funny too! Definitely recommend taking him!!!

If you can, I recommend taking Dr. Price. This is not an easy class, but he made it less difficult. I had trouble with Psych 42, but after taking his class I understand statistics more now. Like some teacher, he's never in a bad mood. And he's more than willing to help if you're having difficulties in the class. Overall, he is a great professor.

Although this course is meant to be very difficult, Dr. Price makes the material very easy to understand. The research paper is also broken up into mini papers which helps manage your time. Dr. Price is also very knowledgeable and a hilarious professor. Highly recommend!

Great teacher!! Super nice and caring. He really helps you if you need a better understanding. Easy class if you pay attention. With the lab he makes it easy for the TA's to explain exactly what you need to do. Class is easy if you pay attention and show up. Also, you don't have to pay for your book, it's free. I'd take him again.

Group assignments every week (easy, relates to lecture during first hour). Easily accessible, loves to work with students. Has lots of research experience, and loves particular ideas of research. It's dull material, but the group assignments make it easier/fun. Answers questions, even if nobody has any. Gives examples of all sorts of varieties.

One of the best teachers I've ever had! Dr. Price is amazing. He really cares about his students and makes all of the material easy to learn. Weekly quizzes in lab, but he tells you what their one before. Group work, 3 tests and a final, and a research paper and poster. It takes effort but it's easy to get an A if you show up and take decent notes.

Professor Price is seriously one of the best professors I've had. He is super nice and honestly cares if you understand the material. All the exams aren't that difficult and are multiple choice. This class was a lot easier than I thought it would be, highly recommend.

Dr. Price is an amazing teacher and very easy to follow. He is very straight forward. His test were 50 multiple choice questions every time, pretty simple if you read the readings and pay attention to lecture. I was expecting to struggle in this class and would be happy if i even received a c, but he made it super easy. Definitely would take again

Price is a great teacher who is impressively straightforward for a challenging class. The textbook is free online, and he wrote it, so the lectures go well with the reading. Be aware of the calendar so that assignments don't add up. Overall an amazing professor.

Dr. Price is REALLY nice and kind of laid back. He's willing to help you in whatever you need. The tests are easy, lab is okay, research project isn't too bad since its divided throughout the semester. If you're told this class is hard in reality its not cause Price really makes it feel like a regular 3 unit class instead of a 5 unit. TAKE HIM!

For such a dense subject, Price was really clear about everything. The way he lectured was very understandable. He made the material seem so easy! He is very helpful in all aspects! You gotta take Price for research and methods! Study lecture notes and read book is the key to get an A!

3 tests &1 cumulative final(tests EZ but you dont have to do well on them to do well in course); tests are 40 MC & 1 short answer (gives 4 possible ones & chooses from there).Dont worry abt project, its split up so you dont get overwhelmed. book is free but I didnt read, just payed attention in lecture &that was enough. good at explaining, TAKE HIM

Dr. Price is the kind of professor you pray for in college. He is approachable and does his best to make the course fun. The material is far from easy, but Dr. Price and his TA made things very easy to digest. He wrote the course textbook himself and distributes it for free, that should tell you everything you need to know.

Take him. He is the nicest man ever and breaks down the material so that everyone understands. 10/10

Overall Dr. Price is a very wonderful teacher. He gives clear instructions on what he wants for each assignment. He also gives out practice exams that really helps a lot. If you need extra help, don't be afraid to go to his office hours, it's very helpful. Also, I recommend you do as much extra credit, it will help you in the end. Study !!

Dr. Price is the best professor ever! I learned so much in his class, and I have to say, he is one of the best professors on campus. He certainly cares about his students, and covers so much content in class. Therefore, make sure to be there! Also, his exams are easy to follow and are based off a lot of his lectures so make sure to take good notes!

he is a really great professor!! taking him during the pandemic and he's gives such good feedback and suggestions with assignments. there's only one major group project but he helps you through the process, the research paper is also split up into parts so it's not as stressful!! definitely recommend having him as your professor! :)

I took Price for Psych 144. There is a research paper done in increments. Two tests and an extra cdedit opportunity. I emailed him at least ten times a day asking questions to get better a better understanding and he is very helpful. Overall very nice, and if you have a chance to take him in person do it! I enjoyed doing zoom but it's not the same.

Dr. Price explained the material clearly and simply in lectures. Replies to emails almost instantly. Midterm and Final exams. Lots of homework based on textbook and lectures. He does everything he can to help students succeed. Highly recommend him for this class.

Dr. Price is a great professor. He will always be there for his students if they need him. This class came easy for me but if it doesn't come easy for you, he is MORE than willing to help you out! I was worried about having to take an online lab class, but he made it very easy. This class was the best online class I've had to take. He didn't give much HW, and he did a good job of explaining the HW we did have. The textbook we used was written by him, so he clearly knows the subject very well. He and our TA were happy to help when needed.

Professor Price is an amazing teacher! He is very understanding and is also very available when it comes to feedback or concerns you may have. He would respond to my emails in very timely manner and would always leave great feedback on my submitted assignments. I cant say enough great things about him. Would 100% recommend this class!

I enjoyed this class despite not being too interesting in research. I found Mr. Price to be interesting and easy to watch in his prerecorded lecture videos. I thrived in this class and feel like many students will due to the nature of this class and teacher. He is very kind and helped me as soon as he could through email. Love love love this class!

Sweet professor. The class is not easy but he tries his best to make sure we understand and shows step by step how to get assignments done correctly. There is one big final research project and all the assignments contribute to that throughout the semester. He is always there to help. He really does want to see his students succeed.

the class has hard material but dr price is easy going and helps throughout. The papers grow on eachother and feedback is given very in depth. an easy class if you just work with the professor and follow instructions.

i took him in fall 2022 and he was the best psych professors i ever had. the way he teaches was fantastic. provides study guides for midterms and final. there is a group project and some papers but they're really easy to do. i emailed him if i can take my final online bc i had covid and he was verrrrryyy understanding and nice about it.

Dr. Price was a very caring and kind professor. He teaches exceptionally well and was always happy to answer any questions I may have had. This class has one big research paper due at the end of the semester, but he breaks it up into sections to make it easily doable. 10/10 recommend this class and professor!

Very nice and easygoing! Great and lecturing and wants all his students to succeed. Half of class is usually group work, but not graded. Very few assignments due, usually 1 a week, but are very easy if you pay attention in class. 2 exams with study guides, reviews, and nongraded practice quizzes!

Pay attention in lecture of course, but in lab, make sure to sit next to people who are cooperative because they'll become your lab partners when you start the lab research project. Dr. Price is an amazing professor! Weekly (most weeks) homework assignments based on his textbook that are very easy but you still get unlimited attempts. Provides review days, practice tests, and study guides for tests that are very helpful. He is very interested in the success of his students and very understanding. Lab attendance is important!
