He is the best Math teacher. He is very funny, outgoing, and best of all he teaches the material so well. If you don't understand math he is the best teacher you can get. He gives homework but he is really easy to pass. I highly recommend him.

He is one of the best math teachers i have ever had. His style of teaching is'nt confusing and he is open to helping you out when you need it. He does give out homework but he really does want you to learn. His sense of humor will keep you awake. Ask him how old he is.

I hated math and he made me see that math isnt as hard at is seems. He explains step by step and he makes everything understandable. He is also funny and this class was not boring at all. I recoment you take him for math, you wont regret it :)

Math has always been my weakest subject but Mr. Russell has truly helped me gain much confidence and understanding! I only WISH I had a teacher of his caliber when I was in high school. He explains everything very clearly, and he is always very helpful to all of his students. He has great character as well ^_^ You won't regret taking his class.

professor russel paul is the best math teacher ever. he teaches you step by step. dont be afraid to ask him questions. hes always ther to help you out. he gives you homework every week but there really easy. he gives you quizzes sometimes and mostly quizzes are group quizzes. i wish that he teaches math 50/ but he dosent!(

He is very clear and helpful, he helps you understand the material so you can pass the class and be ready for math 50,he also lets you do alot of quizes in groups only a couple tests are individually and as long as you do your labs you should do good in this class.

Great teacher but not easy....pretty much DO ALL YOUR WORK & QUIZES and study for the test.....But he does have some pretty good jokes

I enjoyed taking Russell's class. I really suck at math but he made math fun and a bit more interesting to me . He is understanding if you are absent for a good reason and he is very funny. He also provides office hours to see him if you have trouble on work . He does give a lot of homework but it helps if you do it all .

I really enjoyed this class, he's a fun, smart and entertaining! The only class i looked forward to going to. Makes learning fun, ASK QUESTIONS!! if you don't get something ASK! You get 2 weeks to do homework. He's a football coach too, i think thats what makes him a good teacher. Wish he taught MATH 50 :(

I shied away from math classes all my life -- but not anymore after taking Russ' class. Now I have confidence. I actually enjoyed math class. If someone had told me I would have enjoyed math class I would have taken it as a joke. If you suck at math like I used to, take my word, take Russell. He ROCKS!!

Professor Russell is amazing! He teaches in a way that makes you understand, & is funny too. The learning environment is so comfortable to learn & pay attention to in class. There is homework & study hours required, but it's not that hard if you do the work & ask for help. Reakky clear teaching & makes you feel comfortable. Take his class!

By far he is my favorite teacher. Very clear on what is expected and must do your lab hours or he will drop you. He is serious but he makes it fun with math. Better way of understanding equations.

Paul Russell is an amazing teacher. He is very clear and specific on each and every equation we work on in class. We have group work/quizzes, he can help us on an equation we get stuck on and shows us a fun way to do our class work

My favorite teacher so far. He likes to help students, goes around the class check everybody's work. In the middle of the semester makes you do the problems on the board and explain them. Gives a lot of word problems, so one can get better at them, cares about one passing the class. If one needs to refresh memory in math he is the perfect teacher.

Professor Russell is such an amazing educator! I absolutely loathed math until I took his course, he is passionate about his craft and wants students to succeed. He assigns homework, however he only collects certain weeks. The first few weeks he does board problems then he has students take over, half of lab hrs are due by midterm. Take him!

He makes sure everyone understands the lesson. The assignments are very easy, they mostly come from the textbook so yes, you do need to get the textbook. Routine in Learn 49: warm ups, review lesson, and practice word problems. As long as you show up and do all the work and pass the exams, you'll do great!

Mr. Russell was an amazing teacher who got me back on my feet in Math. Never before had I understood Math as much as I did as when I left. If you need a refresher, he's a good choice.

This is my very first math class here and I love him. I enjoy his lectures and how he put examples, so that we can learn the concept better. He make hilarious jokes about his wife. He want you to pass and not fail. If you study hard enough you will defiantly pass. Ive struggle at math my whole life and his method of teaching made me understand it.

He is patient, detailed with explaining, provides practice work for test and homework, wants to make sure you understand, gives shortcuts, and syllabus is accurate. You receive points for hw assignments and make sure to get your lab hours for extra credit.

He is great. I very much enjoyed being in his class. I took his class in an Intersession, so there was a lot of homework, but it was reasonable and necessary to understand what is being taught.

He is a great teacher. His grading is very clear on his syllabus. Prof. gives you extra credit options through participation. Honeslty, i'm not a math person and he made me feel so confident in math world problems that I now enjoy them. That alone should say alot. Plus he makes alot of jokes.

He was absolutely a great math teacher. Very clear and always want the class to pass by respecting students questions and being so patient showing us over and over. He is also hilarious which helps, but you need to pay attention or you will miss his funnies and his points.
