I took Prof. Schumann for MGMT 305 Business Ethics class. The class was extremely boring and long, especially for a 2 hour class. Since it was a one credit class we met once a week for seven weeks and he lectured the entire time. At the end of each class period you take a quiz on the lectures. The quizzes are easy. You don't need to buy the book

Really great teacher. Class was very fair and fairly easy. Read your book, do the work and show up to class and I can't imagine you not getting an A. Lots of group work, if you like to be lazy your team will fill out an evaluation at the end of the semester that can drop you by 2 letter grades if don't show up and don't contribute.

He is really easy to follow and very clear to understand. I would recommend the online book on Chegg because it's cheaper and you use it for all the learning activities. If you don't study for the quizzes, it's mostly common sense and you will at least get a 15/20. Final is about everything, but is really easy.

Best class to work in groups. You work in groups every class period to finish in class assignments (Learning Activities). Learning Activities are based on chapters in the book. They are very simple almost every activity you are copy and pasting from the book or a website provided. Almost everyone gets an A or B.

Class was very helpful. The students basically are responsible for themselves in terms of attendance. You are responsible for letting your teammates know you won't be at class. A huge chunk of the grading is based on how informative and responsible you are to your fellow teammates, so keep them in the loop on your whereabouts.

The instructor is very helpful and makes himself available to any questions or issues you may have. As long as you attend class in order to complete the daily activities, and study the study guides for the quizzes you will have no problem passing and understanding the material.

Entire class consists of group work everyday. You show up, do about a 12 hour assignment together, and leave. There is a quiz at the beginning of each section, which is the only thing you need to study for. Quizzes are outlined in his study guides very clearly. Easy A if you show up.

HR MGMT is a great class because I felt like I actually learned important information throughout the semester. Paul is by far the greatest professor at MSU-Mankato. Our Management 340 class was divided up into groups of 5-6 people. Paul believes in the quiz and group work while your here, study and read chapters on your own. This way, Paul can answer questions and be specific in class while you're doing group work. Read the book, help your team. The quizzes and the only exam were easy. Use common sense.

Easy Class. You don't have to go to class, you can for extra credit. There are no assignments at all, which kinda sucks cuz then you reply souly on test grades. Memorize the study guide, and you get an A on the tests.

Very good professor. Go to class and he will give *hints* on what is on the test. Attendance not mandatory, but he offers extra credit for attending class.

the only days you have to attend class are test days, but everyday you do show up you get extra credit for it and he gives out exam questions. his exams are the easiest I've ever taken.

Paul is a great guy and one of the best instructors that I have had in my college career. He gives you hints on what you need to know for the exams and if you have questions he is always willing to help you out. Definitely take a class with this guy!

Although attendance is mandatory, it is REALLY important to show up to class because he gives out hints on what will be on the exam and they are really helpful. He usually curve the grading scale based on the class' average. Made everything run smoother and less stressful!

Great professor! Honestly one of my favorites I have taken a class with. Class is optional, but you receive extra credit for attendance. He provides you with great study guides for each chapter that perfectly layout what will be expected on the exams with no surprises and will even drop hints to what WILL be on the exam. I would highly recommend!

Great professor, good lectures, you can tell he cares about your education and wants you to get the most out of the class. He lets you choose the resources you want to use so whether its reading the book, using his powerpoints, or going to lecture, you can choose what works best for you.

Never once attended his zoom calls or emailed him, and i am doing just fine. There is 4 tests, a WSJ project, extra credit, and a final. I am probably going to pass this class with a B+, and i have put nearly no effort in, and i still have learned more in this class compared to others. Highly recommend taking this class, you will thank yourself.

one of the best professors I've had. he lets you learn how you want which is really nice. he is always there for questions and makes things very simple. study guides and tests are all on the powerpoint he gives you. although this class had an easy structure to help me get a good grade, I also learned a lot. highly recommend him!

Great Professor. No Textbook needed, Gives great examples for the content he teaches, not required to be in class, basically whatever works best for you. Always willing and eager to share more information with you if you ask him questions.

This class was a breeze! That said, I am not saying it in the sense that all the answers are online. However, the PowerPoints are very convenient and will allow you to take the exams and receive an A!! You will not regret this professor truly amazing and very caring.

Class is based off exams, but he allows us to truly understand what we are learning by having open-note exams. He cares about his students and wants us to succeed. Always available to help students!! Also, just because attendance isn't mandatory, I recommend going anyways. Helps with exam hints and can be a great connection for your future!!!!

I don't have enough good things to say about Paul, nicest guy ever. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the topics that he covers. He makes the course very enjoyable and gives you all the tools/resources necessary to succeed. You know exactly what's on the exams before you take them. One assignment the entire semester.

Very very nice professor. Gives you everything you need to know for test. Wants you to do well and have material necessary for expected knowledge. Do not have to show up to lectures. Posts all powerpoints. Doesn't require book to do well on tests.

Professor Schumann was one of the very best professors I have had. He wants his students to succeed. Best part is he understands that we all learn differently - some by lectures, some by reading, etc. and provides the ability for all students to learn the way that works best for them. A must-take prof!

Paul is amazing, even if this class isnt in your major but interest you... TAKE IT! He will always let you know exactly what will be on his exams and how to do well on them, no reason not to succeed!

Really helpful and willing to help in any assignment

This was my first management class- he exceeded my expectations. He was a great professor if you went to the lectures and made them seem interesting and relatable. He gives you the option to come to the lectures, read the book, or to look at the powerpoints so a learn at your type of style. He is an amazing professor and I loved his course. 10/10

He's very organized. No textbook needed for this class. He gives out the pdf version of the book on d2l to students. Very nice person and very helpful. The presentation slides are what's important to pass the course and the study guide for the exams. The exams are all from the powerpoint slides.

Very organized professor and cares about students' success. There are 4 exams based on his lectures and 1 comprehensive final. He allows open notes for exams and the material learned is helpful. There is 1 project that is straightforward and is not time-consuming.
