i had him last semester. the class is easy enough. everything is out of the book.

everything is note based. dont bother buying the book. he is a jerk though. very arrogant and defensive when you ask questions. mean to the students. he should go back to his day job, REALLY!

Professor Siegel is the best teacher i have ever had. He has influenced me to want to take more psychology based courses. His classes are very interesting and he has stories that will blow your mind from his own experiences as a psychologist. he isnt a very easy teacher..come to learn.

This is by far the best professor I've ever had. He is enthusiastic about teaching, and has plenty of office hrs. His test tend to be "tricky", but once you get the hang of it you will get straight 90's. Got an A on the class.

Seigel is the man. Very smart and quick. His tests are excruciating and he can get a bit confusing when he has had a hard day. Utilize his office hours.

Very nice and helpful guy! Just read the textbook and youll have no problem understanding what he talking about. Tests are hard but if you study you'll be fine and plus theyre open notebook so take good notes (you'll need them)...And he's also VERY HOT! A++++

Dr. Siegel (I don't know why that's misspelled.) is one of the most dynamic professors I've ever had. Exams require a lot of studying but grades are fair. Does not patronize and does not dumb down anything. Always willing to help and listen to comments. Great dialouge and thought provoking lectures. Don't take this class lightly but it's worth it.

I took Abnormal Psych and Dvlp of Childhood Psych with Seigel, he is THE BEST.Not only knowledgeable and passionate about what he does but also a fair grader.As long as you take down the notes you'll do great.He never puts anything on the test that was not gone over in class. Not to mention I didnt mind looking at his tush for three hours a week!!

Professor Siegal is smoking hot. He is also an incredibly gifted teacher and I would encourage anyone taking psych to take class with him. His tests are open book. He is fair but not a pushover, and detests people coming in his class late. Be sure to knock on his door if you are late or he will make you go back outside and do so. I luv Paul Siegal!

Best prof. ever! Had him for general psych and tried so hard to get him for abnormal but unfortunately I couldn't =( He is the perfect prof. Don't miss class because it might be hard to catch up on his notes. He only tests on anything he has talked about in class, so as long as you take good notes and attend class you'll for sure get an A

Great Professor, but just take him if General Psychology is recommended for your major. TOO HARD!!!!! Never worked so hard in 4 semester at WCC, as I had to for his class. Even thou my major is Business, I learned and still remember most of the things I saw in class. You really, really have to work hard for this class. His class is like 4yr college

He is a great teacher! One of my favorites, he was the only one that really believed in me. He has 4 steps to succeed in his class. DO IT!. Get the textbook, take good notes, and don't be late for class he will make you knock on the door. STUDY HARD for the tests they are difficult. pick up the practice tests in the lib VERY USEFUL!! take his class

Sets the standard for being a professor. He is very intellectual, excited, and interested in his field. Never a boring lecture. He does give hard tests but he gives you prior exams to study from and curves his tests. Recommend you bring a recorder to recap on the lectures. Honestly, you will never want the class to end.

He's a great man! Took him for general psych, ab. psych, & ab psych c&a. He's passionate about his field and is super approachable and happy to help you in anyway. He was the only reason I took the abnormal psych courses. He even helped write letters of recommendation when I was transferring. He's super connected. Befriend him-- it'll benefit you.

He can be rude sometimes (never happened to me, but I've seen with other students). I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Test are not that hard if pay attention in class.

I'll get straight to the point. Your grade is worth 50% assignments and 50% exams. For the assignments, you have to write a lot, though. Which was beneficial for me, because my assignments were 100% but my exams were 70% and I got a B+. He gives extensions on deadlines and he is empathetic. I recommend his course for any student.

Attendance is a must if you want to do well because there is a lot note taking. I'm not a psych major but i really enjoyed this class.

This online class required in depth reading and a complete understanding of the material-this will enable you to complete the assignments and do well on the tests. This is not a "just memorize" type of class, but I recommend with Mr. Siegel. Work hard and you will get the grade you deserve.

He's a great professor! Words things perfectly so that students understand, he relates things to your every day life. He's super enthusiastic and full of energy. He does take attendance and starts class on the dot. Super helpful, he uses blackboard a lot and posts online practice exams, which are pretty much like the actual exam given in class.

I was going to drop the class because it seemed like he was going to be tough based off his intro letter but Im glad i stayed. Every other week you have to do a chapter outline, based off the textbook, which you need, and every other week you have an exam. Make sure the outlines are DETAILED! He reads every word and gives you feedback. Easy A

I don't think I can do Professor Siegel's class justice in this description. He is so passionate about what he teaches, his lectures and energy levels are extremely high, and his subject matter is very interesting. I honestly miss his class so much. Study study study

Such a friendly person who is welcome to any discussion. Very understanding. The overall grade is based off of your scores for 6 tests that he gives over the course of the semester and he also drops your lowest grade. He is very good with making sure that exactly what is on the slides shown in class is what is on the test. Very Clear.

I took his online course. it was A LOT of work. But it was so organized that is hard to fail his class. he gives you two weeks which is enough time to complete and his test a completely based on the homework so if you get a high grade on the assignment you will pass the class. he responds to email quickly and is very understanding. great class

I took this class online. Prof. Siegel is a phenomenal teacher. Textbook is mandatory. He gives 2 weeks for all assignments. Must study for tests. Any questions, just ask-he will answer immediately. Helps build self confidence with school work. I would take a class with this professor again. OVERALL-AMAZING TEACHER.

Assigns no homework, read textbook and take notes. Gives a test every two weeks but gives a clear outline and reviews before test. No midterm, just final. Drops lowest grade. Lectures are clear and adds humor to each one. Has a good personality. Will def. take a course with him again.

Class is mandatory to understand the material. Study hard, write notes in class, read the textbook and you will pass. Overall one of the best professors at WCC. If you are looking into transferring and want to experience what a real 4-year university professor is like, take him.

Siegel is one of the best professors Ive had here at WCC. He has a Phd so he is very knowledgable and lectures are complex. He doesn't give papers but there is a quiz almost every other week. He drops the lowest grade and gives extra points when he feels like it. Im a B/C student and I got an A in this class.

He worked with me to help me understand why I wasnt grasping certain concepts, which is difficult while taking this course online. I also havent been in school for quite a bit of time, so my study skills werent the best, so when I reached out he was there to help give suggestions.

I can understand the negative reviews on here. Class is extremely work heavy. You really have to dedicate yourself to getting work done. Originally 2 classes of mine were dropped due to low enrollment so I had an advantage over my peers due to having lots of free time. If you have work, kids, etc. do not take this class. You'll be dooming yourself.

If honors a lot is on your own. He"s very nice and his quizzes are simple. He gives textbook for free.

I loved him! You mainly just watch lectures and take tests but its fairly easy. He is very clear in his lectures and he gives practice quizzes before the real one so that youll definitely pass! No hw besides watching the lectures and doing the practice quiz.

THE BEST. Not racist. Im so honored/lucky. He is a serious man but SO INTELLIGENT. He makes videos lecturing and you can access to them anytime and it's helpful to study. No assignment but exams. He does practice exams almost the same as the exams. Practice ones are more difficult than the exams, the only grades come from exams and participation<3

He gives you the textbook for free, participate. He is funny too sometimes, he is not rude. I feel that his wife and children are so lucky to have him because he is just amazing. The class is so interesting and he makes it so excited. He gives extra points if 3/4 of the class got an exam question wrong. But participate!

I was nervous to take him especially after going back to school after 10 years out. He was a little rude at first, but warmed up quickly when he saw I really put in the effort. Got an A+ in his class and would take him again. He does take a while to respond though.

Prof. Siegel was an amazing professor. I looked forward to his class every thursday. It was a long class but he made it entertaining. His grading was simple. It was usually 1 quiz per week on the topics discussed in class. It was very easy especially because he made his class easy to understand. I struggled with Psych before. His class was AMAZING.

I had a really great experience in Professor Seigel's class, he was so caring about the students and you can tell he really loves teaching psychology. He keeps you engaged in the lecture, which most times would become a group discussion, and is super helpful, answering any questions. I felt very comfortable speaking in this class.

Great Professor, took his hybrid course so I would have him once a week and a video lecture. No homework assigned and all test are online on brightspace. He gives no midterm or final because he doesn't believe in that. I would definitely take him, he is an easy A. Attendance Matters.

I had Dr. Siegel for Psych 101 and loved his class. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field of study, and his humor made class enjoyable. You can definitely pass this class if you pay attention and study! Will be taking him again for abnormal psych.

As long as you don't use AI and are engaged with the content you will do great. He lays out a very specific way to pass his class I'd suggest doing exactly that. He even allowed me to interview him for a journalism class. My favorite professor of the semester.

His outlines for how to study and do well in the class came in clutch. It laid out a framework for studying that I took into other classes. If you pay attention, do the reading, and fill out his study guides, you should pass no problem. He loves answering questions, even tangential ones, and is very understanding if you need to miss or make up work
