He is a very nice professor and well knowledgeable about the subject. His powerpoint presentations are well done. From his notes, you can understand that he made a lot of research before teaching. Also, he is well up-to-date about the Customs Acts and Regulations and I think this is due to his work experience.

This teacher in nice. I really dont know what the others are making those comment about. What do you honestly thing that he will freely throw the marks in your hands ........work for it seriously....he isnt that hard and plus an easy marker.... gives you a lot of chance to make up if u mess up in the test. Life isnt easy do your best he will see.

He is determined to give his students the necessary chances to acheive a good mark. He expects you to attend classes, and you should because you'll never pass if you don't attend. Ask questions because he's very knowledgeable and frequently will confuse you from assuming his students are as knowledgeable as he is.

Take customs with him if you are interested in gaining some customs knowledge related to real life. He is not an easy marker but he is very fair though. He will always find time to chat with you after classes and he remembers good students well.

Paul is good teacher as long as yu attend all classes, do homework and practice what he says. Otherwise it's going to be complicate to understand the course. Paul has great experience in the field so he can be very helpful, but his teaching stile isn't perfect so you shoul study more by yourself, but it's Ok for me.

Paul gave good review materials for exams. From the beginning it is difficult for international students to catch up his classes, coz this course doesnot have textbook. But you will learn a lot after getting used to his teaching style. He might offer loads of assignments, which make us know more different cases in customs.

Paul is by far one of the best professors i had if not the best! His knowledge in the customs industry is very rich and he is very helpful with all assignments and gives many chances to get extra marks.. Paul is very calm and cool person, however attendance is mandatory to do well in his class!!!

Paul is a very caring professor, with lots of Customs knowledge. He stayed for multiple weeks with classes after class trying to get people ready for cbsa professional exam!!

The real world is not soft, and Paul teaches us to be prepared for challenges in Customs. His exams are really difficult, but if you understand the topics taught you're able to do well in the exams. Memorizing is not a great idea because Paul challenges us in the exams. For me it's a pleasure to have Paul as a teacher.

He answers our questions sincerely and send us email reply quickly. But he takes a lot of time away from us, so keep in mind! ^^

Paul is a great teacher to be respected. He's professional and very conscientious. Although the course is difficult, he will spare no effort to help you. I tend to think every bad reviews are by people who have rarely participated in his classes. All you had to do was Ask. Ask and he would help you. I was failing the class and I told him about it. He inspired me to be a better student and his words actually made me work hard. The subject is a bit challenging but you'll get the hang of it.

He is a good professor, but you may find a little bit challenge in his lesson (i took online) because his sound is soft and difficult to hear clearly. All the assessment are assignment basis, which are straight-forward. Take the lessons, read through the lecture notes with provided links.
