Great teacher! I love his teaching style. He goes over each concept in detail. He is tough, but this is Anatomy and you have to be well-prepared. His notes are amazing! Do not miss any class and write down every word he says. He tests only on what he has taught. He is strict and old school, but awesome!

This class is not for those who want to get an easy A; you must work your butt off for your grade; he gives notes which are helpful,some extra points on all quizzes and tests, drops the lowest quiz, test, and lab; complaints: disorganized labs, missing materials, no make up work so you MUST come to every class or you'll miss alot!!!

His anatomy class has been the most challenging class I have taken thus far at FSCJ. I learned alot and if you take the class ,expect to feel enlightened.

Excellent professor! If you want to learn, take this class. He prints out detailed notes on his lectures. The notes are very helpful. He is tough tester but more than fair. Not an easy class because it is not an easy subject. Attendance is important.

Professor Weinman is a great teacher, definitely old school. Tests and quizzes are difficult, no multiple choice but with studying, the 'A' is quite possible. He curves every quiz and test which helps.

He doesn't go through the chapters in order.He only seems to know what he is teaching at that moment but he will stay after class to help you understand.Its not easy at all.Put a great amount into studying and you should do okay.He drops the lowest test,quiz,lab.Tests and quizzes are fill in the blank.He prints out detailed notes for every chapter

I had him in High School for A&P. He is strict and old school, but the best teacher I've had. Once you understood his style, the class was a breeze. I ended up making an A+. He used to love quizzes, but they are just like the exams. He's awesome! Take him. I was happy to hear he started teaching college again. :)

Professor Weinman is a VERY good teacher if you are planning on going into the medical field. PLEASE do not take this course with other hard courses. I spent about 4 hours a day studying. It is very fast pace and a lot of information. NOTHING is multiple choice, it is all fill in the blanks which makes it harder. Very good curves on tests though!

Definitely challenging! Quizzes every class meeting and exams are all fill in the blank. He does drop the lowest quiz, exam, and lab though. He gives nice curves on the exams.

Unless you plan on spending 3 hrs per day studying, dont take this class. Professor Weinman is a nice guy but his class is as or more difficult than fourth year university courses. If you plan on going into a masters program do NOT take this class. It is nearly impossible to get an A. Class is unnecessarily difficult, coming from multiple med.st.

He's a nice guy, his class is just really demanding. A quiz every class, the "brief notes" he gives us for studying are often 30-50 pages. He sums it up best in the beginning: "If you can't devote 2-4 hours every single day studying, don't take this class."

He is an amazing teacher. Hard yes, but if you study, you will make an "A". The quizzes are easy IF you study. He tells you everything you need to know. I have learned so much from him, and know/remember everything I learned from class three years ago. Just be prepared to work hard!!!

He is knowledgeable Professor! He is open to meet during his office hours and break down material you did not understand in class. His test and quizzes are difficult but if you study you will do fine. You will be amazed in how much you will learn in a few weeks. He is not easy at all though you need to study 4 hours a day

He is one of my favorite professors I've had! The subject is difficult, but he simplifies it so that it is easy to understand. There is a quiz almost every class, not too hard, and he curves the tests and quizzes, but it keeps you studying and actually learning the material. Hes super nice and is willing to help with anything confusing.

Very clear in explaining material. There's a fill in the blank quiz every class which prepare you for the tests (also fill in the blank). Don't skip class and take ANY/ALL notes during lectures. Gives his own paraphrased highlighted notes for each ch. which makes it easier to understand. Study both sets of notes! I got my only 100 in his class!

It doesn't matter what anatomy class you take, it will always be hard. Professor Weinman makes you learn the material and really get it so you pass. Yes he gives quizzes every class but it prepares you for the test so its a breeze. He types up his own notes which help you tremendously. Put effort and you'll pass!

There is a quiz every class, but trust me.. it will really help you prepare for the test. I thought this class was hard at first, but if you read the notes Professor Weinman gives you, along with notes you take in class you will do fine. He also curves quizzes and tests and takes your lowest grade off. I learned a lot in this class! I recommend!!!

Great professor, very thorough, willing to help if you ask. The only problem I had with him is that I am a highly visual learner and he is one who all the notes are straight from board at a fast pace. I would take again if I wasn't such a huge visual learner.

You will learn a lot! Very good teacher. Explain the subject matter crystal clear. No boring power points. I love his class. Read and study, you will get A. He gives a lot of extra points towards quizzes and tests.

Professor Weinman was a great professor but the class was not easy. Quiz almost every class. Quizzes and Tests are fill in the blank (no multiple choice) so you really have to know the material. Gives helpful notes. I learned more in this class than any other class this semester.

Okay! He was nice, but he's a tough professor. KEEP THIS IN MIND: 90% of all the questions you're going to be answering in his class are FILL IN THE BLANK. You need to know the material by reading, going over PRINTED and IN CLASS notes. Quiz like every class. Lots of extra credit. Makes goofy ways to explain things at times, but I did learn a ton.

Every class expect a quiz. Every quiz is fill in the blank with no word bank. He makes you learn the material. I enjoyed this class for the reason. There's no way you can just memorize the answers. You learn everything and that's what you're going to need in life. We use the textbook every second of the class. You must read it out side of class.

I took Professor Weinman for both AP1+AP2. I adore him because he not only wants you to get the grade, but he wants you to learn. However, you MUST MUST MUST put in the effort. He gives printed AND in-class notes, make sure you go over them. They will be your bible for both courses. He's goofy and fun but really wants you to focus. QUIZ EVERY CLASS

You will learn the material with studying and hard work. There are mostly fill in the blank question, but he gives you notes to print out. He is very clear of what he expects of you on the first day of class. Believe it or not, he's kinda funny during his lectures. Memory devices he gives are quite creative. You won't leave this class empty-headed!

I would recommend this class and professor. Don't get me wrong the class takes a lot of work, but you know what is expected from you day one. Professor Weinman is an excellent professor and you will leave his class prepared if you put in the work. Quizzes every class. If you are going any medical route, Professor Weinman is your guy.

Any one taking A&P must be seeking a degree that this class is very important for, so this is a good professor to take. It is a very hard class because he expects you to learn it as if you were in med school. Just dedicate yourself and make no excuses. You will come out understanding the material. If you are in school to learn, take this class.

Anatomy is a hard class. Professor Weinman is a good professor and I have definitely learned more in this class than in any other class. If you need to know Anatomy for your degree I would recommend him. He doesn't do make ups or retakes so go to every class. He's very approachable too!

Quiz each day on the previous lecture given at the start of each class help you gauge how well you are studying. Extra credit quizzes are given at the end of each lecture for points to be added to the quiz. It's not difficult if you pay attention/take notes, read the book, and follow his notes on the whiteboard provided on Blackboard.

Obviously anatomy is hard and there is a lot of termanology you need to learn. But he tells you exactly what he wants you to know. If you study and prepare before each class and make note cards you will pass.

He lectures everyday and there are quizzes and extra credit quizzes everyday but they are exactly what you take notes on and don't effect your grade too harshly. If you truly want to learn anatomy take him because the information will definitely get knocked into your head!

Great Professor if you really want to know anatomy and physiology. Studying and going to every class is a must do to pass. Quizzes every day and each of his test cover an average of 4 chapters. Test and quizzes are pretty much all fill in the blank and only about one or two multiple choices in each and a lot of the times none. Lectures are helpful.

This class was definitely a challenge. You have to be willing to put forth the effort to pass. He gives you exactly what you need to do well though. He always gives extra credit on exams and quizzes and drops lowest test grade. It is very possible to get an A in his class though. Really learned a lot and enjoyed it!

The class is hard but you really learn. He drops the lowest quiz and test grade. He gives ex credit quizzes. Quiz every class and spelling counts. Focus on handouts. Pay attention in class. The pics in the chapters help; he gives page numbers. Study group helps. Do not miss a class. I liked his humor and enjoyed the class. Not for everyone.

This class isn't as hard as it seems, you just have to find what works for you to learn the material and stick with it. Online interactive flashcards work wonders. Take advantage of the note sheets he provides, most quizzes and tests have information from them. Participate and engage in lectures and ALWAYS ask questions when you aren't certain.

He is a great A&P professor and I really learned A LOT!! Don't let anyone scare you away because he is not that bad tbh. If you want to be a nurse or in the health field then TAKE HIM! He wants you to succeed and gives you the resources.

I took professor this for both A&P 1 and 2. He was because he really cared about you getting a grade because you worked for it. He brought it being more important that you have learned the material and retained it rather than getting an easy A. There is a quiz every class, sometimes two, or a test. All fill in the blank, but he is quirky and caring

Study at least 3 hours a day to pass this class. Fill in the blank quizzes EVERY class. 5 tests (4 pages long). Spelling counts. I took this class twice. Made a D the first time but came back and redeemed it with an A! Hardest class and professor yet but you will be so proud of yourself to survive this class! He's a great professor! You will learn

Professor Weinman is a difficult professor not easy at all you will need to study! However, if I could go back I'd take him again because you really learn so much from his class. The medical field is complex, tough and the material is very intricate but he teaches it well & you can tell he's passionate. You will need to study on your own though!

This class is hard but I took it while working full time and going to school full time. got a B. I'm upset I didn't take him for a&p2. The stuff he taught has helped me in a lot of my other classes too. he's tough, you'll hate him at the time, you really will. its so worth it though. i wish i could go back and thank him honestly.

If you are looking for an easy A I would suggest you look for a different professor. You have to work for your grade, there is a test everyday. Although this is not a walk in the park kind of class, Professor Weinman does everything he can to try to help you succeed in this course. He is very knowledgeable in A&P.

Great prof that cares about your success in the class. A&P is hard but he tries his best to lecture and repeats multiple times. Quizzes everyday, 5 tests, and a final (He gives extra credit on everything if you stay the entire class, so dont ever skip!) you have to study everyday to keep up. Really not that bad if you are motivated and have time.

I took him for AP I and II, and both courses were online due to Covid. He has a quiz before every class. Also 5 tests and 1 final exam. He provides the BEST notes you could possibly ask for, and you need to print them and USE THEM. A tough grader but he gives a lot of extra credit if you come to class. He was the best teacher I think I've ever had.

LOVE HIM! Ignore the bad reviews, they had to be serious slackers. There is no homework, but a quiz every class. BUT he gives you a study guide to prepare for every chapter. Have the study guide opened in another window. You don't have to go to class, but every class he gives 5-15 extra credit points. He really cares, but is a TOUGH grader!!!

Open notes for EVERYTHING

No homework, open note (he gives study guides every test) quizzes every class and 5 open note tests. He drops lowest quiz and test grade and just for going to class gives 5-10pts extra credit on ur quiz that day. Record his lectures w voice memos and go back and listen he talks fast. Labs are coloring and labeling. He truly cares & wants u to learn

Took Prof Weinman's class a couple of semesters ago when it was in person and just had to come back to say how much I loved this class. No doubt one of the hardest classes I have taken, and I wouldn't recommend if you don't have time to study and memorize A LOT of medical material. But if you love learning about medicine this is perfect for you.

Hard grader. Quiz before every lecture. The lowest test/quiz gets dropped. The lab is basically coloring. Replies to emails fast. If you attend his lectures after quizzes/ tests you can get extra credits depending on the class average for the quiz/test (the most he gave this semester was 12 points). Answers are all found within his notesheets.

Quiz EVERY CLASS even on the first day. Quizzes are hard and they aren't multiple choice, you have to type in the answers. If you miss class you WILL fail. You have to work for your grade here. There's 9 Lab assignments for the semester which are easy. Despite the material being hard he makes sure you learn it. This class isn't for the weak.

Great Professor! Always available to help. Open book quizzes each class, 5 tests plus Final. 1 quiz and 1 test are dropped. Want an A? Record each class, after class print out each page of text in provided study guide, re listen to class, write notes on pages, tab pages for quick access. Study section of Mastering very helpful. Study, Study, Study!

Professor Weinman is a fantastic professor! I had him for both AP1 and AP2. He is very knowledgeable about the human body and will make sure you leave his class learning much about it too. He assigns quizzes or tests every class (even on day 1), however, almost all are open notes. Pay attention to your spelling! You get extra credit by attending!

Had him for AP 1 and 2. Best proffessor ive taken in all my years so far! He gives you VERY clear criteria for what is expected, has a detailed syllabus, and hes definitely why I passed the HESI. super knowledgable, information sheets are super organized. Pay attention well and take lots of notes and you'll do great. He's a professor who rlly cares
