Great guy, had him for 2 semesters now. Helpful, understanding with a dry sense of humor. If projects become difficult for you, ask him for help, he will assist you.

Hands down, the nicest guy ever. I hate math, but his class was enjoyable. He's so kind when you go to see him in his office, and he's just wonderful. I would DEFINITELY recommend taking his class.

at first he came off as a rude jerk, but you warm up to him after a couple classes. hes hilarious and will work on a problem until you understand. he wants you to do the very best you can.

Comes off like a jerk, but is really fun! He is a great teacher and is very easing going. He likes to pick on certain students, in a fun way. He won't move on 'til he gets an ok from the class.

What a fun class! We didn't get through all the material, but I learned a lot. This prof comes off as sorta cocky at first, but do your work and ask questions, and you will do great.

This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. He doesn't know half the answers to the questions that are asked inside of class, and he thinks he is funny, but he's not.

Sarcastic sense of humor, is personal which makes it easy to talk to him, and although lectures are sometimes hazy, he outlines every section with notes and examples. Don't drop the course if you are bored in the beginning, its worth it to stay.

He's kind of an ****, but in a good way. He's just really sarcastic. But he's really cool and funny. Just don't take anything he says to you personally. If you're easily offended or thin-skinned, you might not be a big fan.

Yanksak is the funniest teacher I've had. He makes comments while he is at the board, calls people jerks, etc. (all in joking) The material is relatively simple, if you don't understand, let him know...he will not go on until you get it. He does however like it when people answer his questions.

He is a real funny guy. Likes to swear alot when he messes up on the board. Always willing to help after class. He teaches well but it is always late and disorganized. This works out well though because quizes turn in to take home quizes alot!

Hilarious. I laughed so many freaking times. Swear he's ADD or just really unorganized. He knows trig and can teach it, as long as you ask him to clarify. Never did the hw and got an A-. Taking the class if you already know what's going on is better than going in blind.

Easiest going prof. Willing to help outside of class, even while not at school. Approachable and makes time for his students. Class is always interesting and fun.

The professor is awesome!! I loved to watch him teach because he always confused himself and then he would swear. I laughed at all through my class. He does know what he is doing though and is a very caring guy. He will go out of his way to help you too.

He cares about our grades and offers extra credit to help.

He's Great. This guy will help you if you ask for it. Compared to my other friends teachers he gives out the best notes. With him you are garanteed to get exactly what you were told on a test.

He is an excellant teacher that is very helpful. I understand the material so much better than I did when I took the class in High School. He will help you with anything if you just ask. Also if u get to know him it makes the class a lot better!

He is hilarious! Very helpful and makes things easy to understand. It's really not a hard class and he helps you to pass in pretty much every way possible. I'm a girl and so was most of the class and no one seemed uncomfortable around him. Also funny- he kinda looks and acts like Red from That 70s Show.

If you keep up with the homework and ask questions during class, you should do fine. He's really concerned if you understand the material and is readily available to help if you need him. Held an extra final review session on Saturday for students who needed more review time. Very helpful.

Paul is a really nice guy. He is very helpful and always willing to help. He will go the extra mile to make sure his students are successful in his class. If you ask questions and do the homework you should do fine. If you dont understand something he will make a point to be sure you get it.

He is great. Very laid back and willing to help. Attendance is not mandatory but comming to class and taking quizes improves your grade.

I really enjoyed his class. He had a fun sense of humor and took the time to make sure everyone understood what we were learning. I definitely reccommend taking him!

Great professor would suggest to anyone planning on going on at grand valley. Makes sure everyone understands and is willing to help all who don't. If you are still deciding he is the best choice. Altogether he is a great prof.

This class was definately a repeat of high school math. Yansak likes to talk to his students and get to know them outside of class. He's very nice and helpful. Really wants you to do as well as you possibly can in his class and in other classes. Gave reasonable homework assignments and tests and quizzes were not difficult.

Yansak is a great Prof. He's hilariously funny and made a two hour math class fly on Friday mornings. He does his best to make sure that everyone understands the material and he's very willing to work with students during his office hours. I'm awful at math and I was able to pass without any trouble.

Prof Yansak is probably the most helpful teacher I have had in my 4 years at GV. I am horrible with math and I was in his office almost every day. He was always willing to help me out even on his days off. I worked very hard and he helped me to get an A-. His exams are very long but I believe he is very fair in his grading.

pretty good teacher, has a good sense of humor. lots of quizzes so if you get one bad score, he lets you drop about 4-5 at end of sem. helpful at office hours and really fair grader. tests are sort of long... and he likes a lot of writing and explinations to some questions.

Great prof. :) Very friendly and funny. Explains things pretty clearly. Always willing to help. Tests are long so you have to get to class early, which kind of sucks. You take extra quizzes so that you can drop your lowest scores which is nice. Overall, great guy and teacher!

He's a good teacher for sure-do not miss class because he randomly collects homework and passes out quizzes. Made an 8:00 AM class interesting. His tests are long and lets you come in at 6:00 AM if you want to and it it worth it because you probably will finish early and then can go back to bed. I really liked him as a teacher-ask for help. :)

I loved having him as a prof. He was extreamly helpful and always was there if a student needed help. I would tell anyone to have him as a prof if they can.

He is an awesome professor..by far my favorite. Exams are hard and took forever to finish, but he gave you more time to take them if you needed it. No extra credit. He is not an easy professor, but will help you if you need help. If you need a professor to explain everything step-by-step, don't take him...if not, then he's the one for you!

Paul was a pretty good professor. His tests were a bit long, but he did give extra time to finish. He's not the most audible, kind of mutters, but I got used to that in the first week. He prints his notes, which was very helpful.

Professor Yansak is my favorite professor so far at GRCC. He is a great teacher and I throughly enjoyed having him teach me.

he was not my original prof, filled in as a substitute half way trhough the semester. he is a really cool guy. once he knows your name he picks on you, which is not a bad thing. before he came in i didnt know nearly anyones names in the class and no one talked. after a couple weeks everyone was talking and felt comfortable. great prof!

I took trigonometry with professor Yansak and am currently in physics. I notice my classmates struggle with the trig, but I do not. I am not an exceptional student by any means, which makes me realize that professor yansak did a great job teaching me. thanks.

Professor Yansak was a good teacher overall. He is a bit more demanding than most other teachers, and demands quality work be shown on most problems on quizzes/tests/homework. He is generous about giving students adequate time to complete quizzes and tests. He will make the subject very clear for you as long as you go to class, focus, and do HW!

Paul is a favorite teacher so far. even though he makes mistakes sometimes while copying something, he explains well, and was always ready to help you if u still don't get it. helped me after class. plus overall atmosphere in class is great, he is joking a little and the class wasn't boring

Quizzes & Tests make up your grade. Do the hw, ask questions, use the math lab & his office hours. Tests & quizzes are straight forward from the homework.

mr. yansak is probably one of my favorite teachers at cc. if you attend class, your guaranteed to pass his class. hes always willing to spend extra time on things and will meet with you before classes for extra help.

Paul Yansak is such a sweetheart. He has been the only professor I have found at GRCC to actually care about your grades. He's so funny, and made the class enjoyable. He's a great guy, and I would recommend him to any student!

I took math 108 and 110 with Mr. Yansak and he was extremely helpful. His teachings are very clear and direct. Takes the time to make sure students understand him. One of the best professors at grcc hands down. I learned a lot from him.

One of the best teachers hands down! If you don't understand something he will do everything he can to help you. He also has a great sense of humor. Loved him as a professor. I highly recommend taking his class.

Prof Yansak is such a nice person. However, I reccomend sitting near the front of the room if you want a good grade. At times, he speaks quietly. He also cares a lot, all you have to do is ask for help. I failed a quiz and I asked if he would allow me to retake it, and he did!!
