One of the nicest and best professor i've ever had.

Very into material. Lectured for full 3 hours. Tests material from notes. Write down everything and then study everything and you'll be OK if you're not a history buff.

Prof Zigo is a legend. Guy takes care of you real. You show up to class and make effort you'll get a B or higher.

Great teacher, very interesting, He shows clips of what he is talking about to make things more interesting. Able to get 90 extra credit points added to midterm or final. Test comes from notes that he gives. No HW. Never read Textbook. I recommend you take him very nice guy.

He is a very nice man, if you take good notes and review them for the test, you should get an A without a problem. He also offers unlimited opportunities to earn bonus points. Took Recent US History with him. He's the man!!! I believe everyone should take this class because everyone should have some background knowledge of this country and there's NOONE better to take it with than Zigo!! Makes it amazingly interesting. Textbook not necessary at all, just study his notes well and that's it. Thank you Zigo!

I absolutely haaaate history...it is the most boring class in my opinion and i cannot focus on it. zigo made it pretty easy to pass the class. tests are easy and i hardly studied, didnt need to open the book like at all, soooo much easy extra credit to do. he loves history so he gets really into it. we had to do one group project. id recommend him

I'm taking his class now! He's wonderful!!! You come to class and he plays music form the time he'll teach about! It sets the mood! He teaches so clearly. ABSOLUTELY TAKE THIS CLASS!! He's a fantastic teacher, uses different media to keep interest (pictures, movies, maps, music, audio) and it helped me understand a lot about America in this century. He's very knowledgeable and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities- do them all!! If u study and do the extra assignments you'll pass(and learn too!)

EXCELLENT! Super easy and IMPOSSIBLE to fail. Gives lots of extra credit work and tells you EXACTYLY what's on the test. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

I never enjoy studying History at all. Prof. Zigo makes the material super easy to understand! Text book is not needed. However, you need to attend class to take notes 'cause it's very important for tests. Plenty of chance to have extra credits. I got A+ without trying hard. Highly recommended!

This is long overdue. I had Prof. Zigo last Fall. You could be having the worst day imaginable and one class with him will make you forget all about it! He is honest, kind and fair. AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE. Prof. Zigo is the gift that keeps on giving!

loved his class, so interesting and an easy A. no homework but he gives you extra credit every week, do it and you can fail the test but still get an A. didn't use the text book at all so i wouldn't bother buying it.

I took this class back in 2006 and I still think back to when i took it. This teacher is the absolute best! I looked forward to his class every week and it was super easy! Just show up, take notes, and you'll do fine. No homework and easy extra credit (10 pts worth) on midterm and final. I got 102 on mid and 108 on final. Best Teacher at BCC!!!

best teacher for history!!! there is no way you can fail his class unless you dont do the little work given. all you do is a group project and do an interview and take the tests and you can do as many movie and book reviews for 10 extra credit points to be added on your grade. i didnt go for like the last 2 months and still got an A!!!!

Thak him!!!! The class is really a midterm and a final, both only 25 M.C. questions + extra credit, an interview of someone, and a group project. Dont worry he also gives you the chance to get a ton of extra credit durring the class. he is understanding on late work. HE WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE EASIEST AND BEST TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD.

Professor Zigo is the best history professor at BCC. I've taken alot of history classes and although all the prof. are great, he is the best. He really cares about his students and wants them to do well. Don't but the textbook, he gives tests from his notes. There is a ton of Extra Credit available, so if you fail, you are an idiot.

OMG I LOVED PROF. Z! he is the cutest little old guy! be prepared for ALOT of notes but this man DEFF knows what he is talking about only 2 tests and 1 project if you wanted to get an A the easiest part was the project i did on jfk and he loved it! he gave 100 extra credit points you could earn but you really didnt need them

I never liked a history course until I had Professor Zigo... not only he's the best professor I have ever had but he is extremely sweet. I recomend him to everyone but specially to people who hate history...it's nothing like any other history course

I ADORE this man. I've never found history so interesting before taking his course. He gives a unique and interesting outlook on historical events and opens the floor for his students to think and judge the facts for themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and learning from him. If you need or want to take history, he is the professor you want!

Prof. Zigo was awesome! I had him for History of World War II. For our class, the midterm and final were take home. He also gives you extensions on them if you need. He gives tons of extra credit oppurtunities. He teaches the whole class but he makes it interesting.. He has little outbursts to startle you.. It's really cute haha. TAKE HIM!

Very good teacher. the class is totally structured and consistent. Its easy to know what your responsible for, its very simple. 2 tests, one group project, and one individual project. They are all VERY reasonable in difficulty. If you like learning and dont like teachers that make it unnecessarily difficult, take Zigo. You wont regret it.

I took Prof Zigo for a WWII class and I LOVED him! He was a tough grader but because of him I learned a new way to write papers. The papers I wrote for him were lengthy but I learned to be very detailed! I wish I could have taken him in class! I very much enjoyed reading his feedback. He also gives you very positive words of encouragement.

Awesome syllabus...One discussion question and 5 Essay questions gets you a B or better. You have the opportunity to write a paper for an A or better. I probably should have..the class was very easy and I did learn a lot, he is a great teacher.

Amazing professor, but not good wtechnology;Lectures sometimes get boring, but he's entertaining. If it weren't for his extra credit, I would have gotten a C-. Really wants you to do well&tells you what you need for a certain grade. If you're not a good test taker, I recommend you do every assignment&extra credit&you'll be fine. Highly recommend!!

He is a really good professor. His tests are so easy. If you just follow what he hands out and certain things in the text book you will pass this class. He keeps you the whole class to the minute but missing class isn't a big deal, he doesn't take attendance. He gives you the option for extra credit every single week to count on your tests.

TAKE take TAKE. I loved Zigo. He always got back to me asap. His online portal for his class is a bit unorganized, BUT TAKE HIM ONLINE. EASY. He does expect thorough answers. So, just add everything and anything you think is important, with tons of padding material, and you'll do fine. He will he clarify anything.

2 exams plus a group project. Loved him. He is such a nice man and always assured us we would do well. Extremely positive and encouraging. I would take him or my other favorite Leo Zaccari. Pay attention, take some notes, review them lightly and u will pass.
