Sooo nice!! It's her first year teaching at FLC. can't say enough good things about her. If you're nervous about public speaking, TAKE HER! she makes you soo comfortable from the first day of class. SUPER FUNNY AND NICE!! Highly recommended.

Loved this class!!!! she made it fun to learn and she made giving speeches a little less stressful!! she was entertaining with her 'okie sayings' but most importantly she wanted to see you succeed and she wanted to see you having as much fun as it looked like she was. She does make class fun and as relaxed as it can be for a public speaking class, but she is not that easy. You have to be very formulaic with your speeches or else she will just give you a bad grade. she will give very dull and just stupid speeches an A if they meet the guidelines, dont try and make ur speech fun, youll pay for it.

Very talkative and witty, as a good communications professor should be. Intercultural Communications is deceptively difficult, so be sure to do the reading. She is a good lecturer and makes the class fun and interesting. My only complaint would be that she permits loudmouth students to do a lot of talking, but it is a communications class ...

She is an AMAZING teacher! She is super friendly and extremely hilarious. Her lectures do get redundant but that is to be expected with communications. It really was not a hard class, just put some effort into your speeches she will tell you what she expects, and read the textbook and take notes for the tests and you got your A. Just don't slack

Excellent teacher, but don't believe students that say her class is easy. Fun and friendly, but deceptively difficult. The real secret to doing well are the tests. They're much harder than she leads you to believe, so do the reading and get ready as each question ends up being worth .4% of you total grade.

Paula Haug is a great teacher. She has a very infectious, positive attitude. The quizzes directly relate to class lectures and the textbook. I did not read the book and still got C's and B's on the quizzes. Since taking her class I am much more comfortable with public speaking.

She is very easy, but she has one of those really annoying personalities and tries to be sarcastic, but it just comes across as fake. If I could do it again I would take her, but not show up to as many classes as I did. You only need to be there %50 of the time to get a C or B.

Mrs. H is a wonderful teacher. Her lectures will CLEARLY outline everything she expects in your speeches, which makes the class seem easy, even though you are learning a lot. I took the online class. Piece of cake. She makes it extremely easy. You have to check d2l regularly. Can't say much about her teaching but I had no problems understanding the assignments posted online so.. she must be good.

Excellent professor! I took this class for a GE requirement and I'm actually really enjoying it! Prof. Haug is very funny and I've learned a lot about public speaking. Favorite Professor of my college career. She exudes positive energy and passion for the subject of communications and life in general. It is because of her that I finally found my perfect major. If you can get into any of her class online or otherwise DO IT! The online classes are great! I have taken 3 classes all together.

Such a fun and hilarious teacher! She had the whole class cracking up and our final was watching a powerpoint presentation she put together and eating donut holes. The quizzes are all done online, do those and the reading responses, show up to class and you will get an A. I would absolutely take her again if I could.

I took 2 classes with Prof. Haug, one online and one on campus, and both were excellent. What is required for a given grade is clear from the start and Prof. Haug grades very fairly -- as long as you are clearly participating and submitting the required assignments, you will get a good grade. Exams are all online, as well, which is great!

One of the best professors hands down. Hilarious, and made my Monday mornings bearable. No finals in her class and easy online exams (12 Qs per exam) and you get to use the textbook. She also makes helpful power points to help with the quizzes. Great Professor if you want a communications class take Ms. Haugs class she is GREAT!

Great class if you need it. The quizzes have no time limit, which is very nice. Most of her quiz questions come from her power points. Attending class is worth 30 percent of your grade so attendance is essential. Haug is very funny and keeps the energy up in class. Would take her again.

This is one of those great classes where if you show up and do your work, you'll get a good grade. She is hilarious and going to class was always enjoyable. She likes to have you work in groups on an in class assignment each class period so you have to come to class or your grade will suffer. Read the textbook and you'll pass the weekly quizzes

Her assignments, quizzes, and paper are easy so do not skip them! Just do it and you will have an A! You dont need the book you can use the power points to take the quizzes.

She is one of the chillest teachers I've taken. First day of school and understands we are broke, so she doesn't use a textbook. 4 speeches and she doesn't grade harshly. I want her to teach all my classes til I graduate. You won't regret her. First class I've made an effort to go to and not be lazy about.

Her lectures are filled with ramblings, but she's very funny and offers a lot of cool facts/info on many different topics. Quizzes were online and homework was graded on completion, so the class was extremely easy. Very passionate and takes much interest in her students

Literally one of the best professors at all of FLC, she will inspire you, she is hilarious, I use her sayings all the time now. You dont need the book, she will tell you that, but there is one if you need it and its interesting stuff. She will make the class for you, any and all communications classes should be done with her. Prof. Haug keeps her lectures exciting, she has incredibly high energy, and she's totally organized. She's awesome at keeping D2L updated and she returns grades FAST. She posts virtually all the reading needed for the quizzes in PowerPoint form on D2L, meaning you don't need the book! Most of all, she's passionate about the subject and it shows.

Such a sweet and charismatic lady! She's totally funny and engaging, and teaches you a lot without making it feel like a boring lecture! If you take her hybrid class, make sure you still show up for lecture, and stay on top of your quizzes! There is no homework aside from the quizzes, except for two easy projects. Would recommend!

Took an online class and enjoyed it a lot. Usually I do not like online classes, but this class was amazing. Grading criteria was very clear, work was graded on time and lots of fun assignments. Professor Haug wants you to learn the material and succeed in her class. Chapter summaries allow you to use your own ideas and express yourself.

Paula Haug is by far my favorite professor I've ever had. I took Organizational Communication and Interpersonal Communication with her and both were actually informative and a breeze. She is a very personable person and will give you credit on mistakes if you contact her and explain. I highly recommend taking her.

Professor Cardwell is one of the amazing professor's I've had for communications 315 studies. She provides great feedback and LOT'S of extra credit! She does make you do lot's of papers but, she helps you before doing them and her lectures are very well done. She wants to help you and succeed. She even helped me to be a great writer too.
