Also had her for 202.The textbook is strictly optional, she makes a hard subject very simple.She's very kind and as long as you come to class and take notes, you are almost guaranteed an A . Almost made me enjoy Economics! :)

Had her for macro and micro econ, Thumbs up! Dont buy the book... you wont need it. My friend didnt even show up (only for exams) and he got a B+. I didnt ever study and got a C+ and B-, which is okay for my poor standards. GOod teacher! A+

She has a brilliant teaching method to accomodate everyone in the class. This is the professor to take if you have trouble or do not like economics. She will get you through it with out a bad taste in your mouth.

I had her for 202 also, and she was awesome. Make sure you go to the library and get the practice tests on reserve, they will help you a lot. She explains everything clearly, consicely, and is respectful of students.

I took micro and macro from her because she does explain a difficult subject in an easy to follow manner. Created an interest in economy in me. Test were fair and you know what to expect. Girls did not seem to like her but guys do.

Don't bother buying the book, you won't need it! I thought that her class was difficult because it leaves no room for errors. There are only 100 points in the class and very few extra credit opportunities.

Make sure you're there for every class. You take notes just about every day and they are needed. The isn't too hard, just need to make sure you study your notes and read the book. She's a nice professor wanting to be accepted by everyone.

she is still trying to work the bugs out on giving exams. All essays and she is grading harsh. If GPA means something take another class until she gets it all worked out. She just regergitates the book. No real world examples.

I don't know what these guys are talking about. Law and economics is definately a challenging course, but Paula did everything possible to help us learn the material. Everything is written on the board and she grades fairly easy with partial credit. 5star

I waited to make a comment until I received my grade. Take someone else. Her essays were hard and she cut noone any extra points. I don't know what the other person is talking about. I agree with the other two. Think twice before you take her class.

This is a challenging class for sure.She may still have some kinks to work out, but I would recommend this class to anyone. Everything you need to know is written on the board and discussed,no surprises.She uses the same #s in the examples on the exams.

I love her class. I dont know about the law class but for 201 and 202 she is the best. You dont have to buy the book and she puts all of the notes on the board. If you go to class and do a little bit of studying you will Ace this class!!

She's so nice!!! She has literally said she really wants us to do well, and with the way she teaches, you should do well. 3 scantron tests make your grade, she even tells you what will be on the test before you take it. Come to class, you will do fine.

Blow off class, extremly easy. I stopped going to her class after the 1st exam. All she does in class is present the book on the chalkboard. If you're a retard or just lazy, go to class to get the information, but you can easily pass with a high A if you just read the book alone.

She is a very good teacher, who is extremely clear and wants to make sure you get it! I made sure I had her for 202 after having her for 201. My friend had her husband for the same class I was taking with her, I had to copy my notes for her so she could do well in his class.

I took this class online. The quizzes were a bit difficult, but as long as you study and practice, you'll be fine. She seems like a nice professor. I did not communicate too much with her.

Quite easy. Only 3 tests and some very EASY hw. I did not really like that only tests count (hw is worth 3 pts) - missed 3 questions every test, that's it - you got an A- instead of an A. She does let you do the extra credit powerpoint presentation, but to me, I would rather have a longer test and do better on it then have to do public speaking.

She writes notes on the board and students write them down in their notebooks (or computer). The very definition of boing, sorry! She is the nicest woman in the world and gave out extra credit options (debates and helping children with stuff). I thought her tests were well reviewed, easy, & straightforward. Never read the textbook and got an A.

Paula is a pretty sweet teacher. Grades are based off 4 pretty short multiple choice tests. If you take notes you will pass no problem

I just loved her!!! She will always answer any question u have, and she's always available during her office hrs. Her tests might be taught, but she curves at the end of the semester which helps a lot. I would recommend coming to class and taking notes. U won't need a book if u come to class :) So, good luck!

Great teacher, super nice. TAKE HER!Likes students that are there everyday, but dislikes the ones that socialize during class and disrespect her. Very fair towards all student and is always there to answer questions.

She's one of the best profs at UofM-Flint! She's very nice, treats everyone with respect, knowledgeable and makes econ easier than you would think. I bought the book, but never used it. Just come to class and take notes! All the exams are based on lecture notes.

Awesome teacher! Take her! The exams are tough so study for them. Every class I have take is worth 100pts. 2 exams are 33pts and 1 is 34pts so exams are vital. I have taken three of her classes ECN 201, 202 & 375 and wish I could take more.She will stay late to help. If you send her an email she will reply...she CARES! I highly recommend her!

Her tests are somewhat hard, you really have to study. She is very nice and she writes notes on the board as she teaches. She is helpful, and she will email back if you need to email her.

Professor Nas gives a review before each exam and most of the exams are closely related to notes taken in class. So as long as you go to class, take good notes and do the homework in this class then you will do fine in this course.

DONT TAKE HER ONLINE CLASS. I was very disapointed after signing up for her online class and seeing all her great ratings. She must have trouble translating what she does facetoface to online. She wasnt very helpful at all and I struggled with the material. This was my 1st economics class since HS and its going badly. Ill probably retake the class.

One of the best teacher I have ever had. She really cared alot about her stidents and wouldnt move on till she knew atleast 95% of the class was getting the material. She made the class interesting. Just make sure you attend every class because if you miss it you will have a hard time catching up no matter how good of a teacher she is.

This was Economics for Education. It was a fun and easy class. She is very nice and laid back, and this class is specifically to help SST TCP majors. She is great in doing so, she structures the course to fit your needs to help teach econ in the future and pass your MTTC. If you are a SST TCP major, take this course!!!

Paula Naas has a pretty easy class -- you show up, you pay attention, and you pass. There isn't much more to it. She isn't completely clear with her grading scale, but she is really nice! You get a nice grade-boosting presentation-style project at the end of the semester too.

Writes notes out for students, can use the book but not necessary. Only 3 tests for grade, but the material is taken from lectures. About 20-ish questions per test. Don't miss classes or you will fall behind. Easy to understand her though. Easy to follow along if you attend classes. Goes over material on test multiple times. Cares about students.
