She's intelligent and funny. I wound up enjoying this class.

Really easy. Very few homework assaignments, have a long time to do essays and get to have people proof read in class. If not that good you can redo them. Not boring. Little use of book. Need in class occasionally but not at home.

Professor Priamos is a fun professor to have. Just read the book and you'd do well in the class. Be active in her class discussion. She has a good sense of humor. She's lenient on her essays because she lets you redo them. A must have class

She is one of the best teachers I've had since being in college. She explains everything and lets you rewrite your papers if you want to. Her assignments are fun to read, and I hate reading. She is understanding and willing to help you as much as she can.

Professor P is easy-going. You need to attend & read the text for the sake of in-class discussions. She doesn't like to use Blackboard which would have come in handy this qtr. If your writing skills need honing, this is not your class. She does not teach writing. This class is more about analyzing literature and then writing about it.

The essay's were not in good taste. That is in my opinion.

Prof. Priamos is by far the best instructor I have had up to this point (I have been at CSUSB for 3 years!). She is helpful, kind, knowledgeable, approachable, and it is obvious that she wants her students to succeed. You won't be sorry if you take her class.

Prof. Priamos-Brown is an amazing professor. She made lectures relevant and interesting. Some students may have found her humor sarcastic and too dry for their taste, however I feel this is what made the class interesting.

I was absolutely dreading this class. Priamos is by far one of the BEST I have had at CSUSB. I enjoyed going to class, the readings, the whole experience I would DO AGAIN (Yes i really WOULD!) I recommend her and ONLY her for upper writing. You will NOT be disappointed!!! She cares about her students, she does not require an enormous amount of work

Professor Priamos is by far one of the BEST teachers at CSUSB! There are only a few classes that I actually love to attend and this is one of them. It is one of those classes that you will miss when it's all over. She is funny, easy going, and cute too lol.

Easy class. Readings were easy, gave extra credit. She has a sense of humour that might not be for you but she's funny.

A great teacher. She has detailed discussions about the books we read and helps make everything clear. She is willing to help with our essays that we write, and she will go into more detail if we go in during office hours.

LOVE Prof. Priamos! Super helpful and knowledgeable about writing as well as publishing, as she is a published author herself. She has a funny sense of humor that some people may not get, but I take it as her being genuine (read: not phony). This was my 2nd class w/ her and once again was my fave of qtr. Classes are never boring. Show up for class!

One of the few teachers I had that made the drive out there worth it. Shes fun and easy going. I enjoyed her class and would take her again.

she is very helpful. The best part is she does not give a final in class all her midterm or finals is a take home essay about the book you read.She chooses interesting books for the class, read 6 in total. Recommend to take the class it was so easy. You do need to attend class, and she always lets you out 10 minutes earlier.

Attendance is mandatory. There is an attendance policy. Her discussions make you want to go. I received an A, but I also did the research essay and the other writing assignments. Great class!

One of my favorite Professors of all time! Super funny and energetic. Class is mandatory. Read about 4-5 books and discussed them in class. Did an essay for each one and one important research essay. Easy A if you do the work and show up to class

RECOMMEND!! Her jokes are hilarious. She gives 3 papers that are really easy if you read the book. She gives out a certain amount of pages to read by a certain date usually between 15-20 pages and usually is assigned for the whole week. Easy grading. Discusses the books overall concept in class so you know whats going. AWESOME TEACHER!

Very funny and chill Professor. Sometimes would get off topic in class and talk about things you'd find to be very inappropriate in a class setting but she's that chill! Super helpful on essays & she only give about 3 essay prompts in the quarter. Required to read 2 books but i never read them since she summarizes it in class so there's no point.

Read 3 books total! Basically she assigns reading everyday in class the next day she talks about it, all you do is listen, and she may asks you questions about what you think. Attendance matters! She's super funny and tells great stories! After you finish a book she will assign an essay which are easy! She's grades very easily!

Read 3 books 2 essays! Show up to class and you'll get an A. It's kinda stupid if you don't show up because attendance matters and can automatically get an A. Turn in rough draftspeer reviewand she reviews a paragraph of your essays! Easy grader! Received A's on all of my essays! Releases the class like 30-40 minutes early!!! Loved this class!

A two part class. be prepared to read at least three books every quarter and write essays. Need to write drafts of them for peer review too. Lets class out ten to twenty minutes before because it's a long nearly two hour class and there's no break in between. Great professor. Made me laugh and givs good feedback on your drafts.

Professor Priamos assigns one longer research essay and a final essay. She has you write the research paper throughout the quarter. Offers helpful feedback and great tips on improving my writing. Would love to take her again. You have to come to class and do the reading. Interesting book choices.

Class was fun, we read 2 books and had 2 papers to do. Almost felt like I was in a book club going to her class. She gives you freedom to write about any topic and really helps you with both papers and breaks down every few pages of your essay before you turn in the final draft. Awesome professor, you will have fun and learn a lot.

Priamos is my absolute favorite professor. She gives great advice and has first-hand experience with publishing her own books. She's kind when critiquing but still willing to help where you need it. Definitely recommend!

Basically just assigned reading daily, writing 1 paragraph responses to what you read, and writing papers based on a given prompt. You have all of 105 to prepare a research paper due in 106. Finals are just typed MLA papers. There's 1 group essay in 106 based on a movie. Her lectures are hilarious! I'd definitely take her for my upperdivision class

Prof. Priamos is a published author and knowledgeable in writing. She came up with her own writing exercises and doesn't rely on textbooks to teach the craft of writing because she's a real writer. She's funny, sarcastic and has a dry humor. Take her class and you won't be bored.

Don't really need to buy any textbooks. She asks for a book but you can download it online and you just take notes on the book. Really easy and fun class. Definitely recommend! She's really nice and will help you with no problem. 1 group essay(easy) and a 6-8 page essay but really easy because she breaks it down! Take her class if you can!!

Great professor, If you want to pass, do ALL the assignments on time and come to class. We read a novel and wrote half or a full page of notes then spoke about what we read as a class daily (Audible helps a lot). We did one group essay after watching a film and then did a research essay. The final was on the novel. Make sure to get your book FAST.

This class was super easy you do need to show up to be up to date with everything. we wrote 3 essays in total. one group/presentation, one 6-7 page essay that we worked on throughout the whole q you turn it in sections really easy. And one 3 page essay on the small chapter book we read. She's a great teacher really nice and shares lots of stories.

She's a great professor she's also very funny. Just make sure you turn in all the assignments on time, they are very easy.

Paula's an amazing professor. She reminds you of upcoming assignments and really does her best to prepare you for them. She really appreciates class participation and is hilarious. Her assignments are not that difficult. There is a group essay on a film, research paper and a final paper on the novel along with notes for the reading. She's awesome!

Prof. Priamos is simply spectacular. Great classes that encourage class participation, interesting course material, and an overall pleasant experience. She's absolutely hilarious, and draws her students in, commenting on and brilliantly educating on the material she's chosen for her assignments. I'd honestly recommend her to anyone taking ENG107.

Prof. Paula is such a great teacher her class is easy and the books she chooses to read are interesting. She has a good sense of humor. Best 105A English teacher !!

If you're a bilingual person trust me this class is for you. Your suppose to read to book which are interesting, a research paper ( if you need help she is more than welcome to help you), and the final essay is about one book that you read. Easy A

I would definitely recommend prof. Priamos she is by far the best English professor I have had. You read 3 books which are interesting, so get ready to read. there are about 3-4 essays which are based off the readings. Do ALL your work and you'll pass.

The books you read are actually interesting and she's really funny. She'll get on you if you miss class alot, but nothing serious.

Amazing professor, really cares about her students and makes the class engaging and comfortable. You read two books which isn't bad because you discuss in class and 2 essays. no hw besides reading but the books she chose were about serial killers and and the book called the dinner. Super easy A's no one in the class got less than a B on essays.

Amazing professor, caring, and very funny. Read couple articles and discussed as a class, had one group essay at the beginning of the quarter, and a 6-page essay divided throughout the quarter so 2 pages every other week. Very easy, no tests definitely recommend taking her for eng 107.

My favorite professor I have taken yet. The material she assigns for reading is very interesting and easy to get through. She is very funny and doesnt give too many essays. Easy A for sure.

Honestly she is one of the best professors out there. U do have to read 2 books, but all u do is discuss them in class. This class is an easy A, just show up read and thats it. There are about 2 essays but they are easy and she gives u the answers and helps u. She really cares for her students.

She's so awesome!!!!! My favorite English professor, goes out of her way to make sure you're succeeding academically and very flexible with all assignments as well as very understanding. If you have the opportunity to have her as your professor make sure you take it.

Professor Priamos is such a great teacher! She really cares about her students & her class is not hard at all as long as you put in the effort. All we do is write essays throughout the quarter (not that many) & read a few books which are pretty interesting. She really engages with each & every one of her students, helps them out, & is very chill.

Professor Priamos is awesome. You could tell she really cares about her students especially with the stories she has shared with us and in the way she tries to encourage people to write more fiction. There's a reading assignment for almost every class, but they're very easy reads, just make sure you read them or else she'll make a quiz for class.

This class was a breeze! Enjoyed this class a lot and found it easy despite being supposedly the 'advanced' class. One group essay, one research essay, and a take-home essay. Very fun lectures too and she's honestly the best. Just do all the work and not procrastinate and you'll be successful in her class!

Professor primes is truly a gem of a teacher, she truly wants you to pass her class so she will work with you if you have any concerns. she can be very funny at times and makes you do research on interesting topics and the book she made us read was very interesting. not very lecture heavy.

I had Prof. Priamos in person for ENG105A and online for ENG106A (due to covid-19). We had 3 essays in total, read 2 books, and had discussion posts to complete for class meetings (when we transitioned to online). If you had a question about anything, email her and she responds back very quickly. Take her if you have the chance, awesome professor!

She was really easy and welcomed everyone of her students with open arms. I would look forward to attending her class. We read some books such as "Death in Belmont". Due to covid, I feel as if she handled the situation just fine for being an online class. She's understanding of your education and genuinely cares about her students.

Professor Priamos is genuinely a good professor . Her class is not hard at all a lot of readings and she will call on you for feedback of stories she's assigned no textbook she provides pdfs. Her class is more of free writings. I will say she doesn't grade so you won't know your grade until the end of the semester that's the only down side.

Love this teacher!! She is chill, funny, and makes every class session interesting. Easy grader on the essays and gives helpful advise if you come up to her and ask questions. Read one book, a couple of discussions, 1 essay throughout the semester, 1 reflection page, and 1 final essay.

I took English 1070A in the fall with professor Priamos and loved the class! I love her teaching style, the way she broke up the essay into parts and we would proof read it each time until it was time for the final essay to be submitted. She would tell stories mid reading relating to the book which kept the class entertained and involved.

Love her!! Only one essay and one final essay. She has discussion boards every other chapter and you need one question or comment for every class and its easy participation credit. She revises assignments several times so if you miss something she'll likely say it again. Overall a really fun professor!! Understands life happens and is very caring.

Very sweet and nice lady! Her content for the class is not hard readings are easily accesible and she gives them too you. Just do your readings and participate in the class for full grade and turn in two essays not hard at all. She gives amazing feedback on your essays and with readings.

I absolutely loved this creative writing course and the professor's style of teaching. The readings assigned provoke thoughts and her lectures are intriguing. Attendance isn't mandatory but participation helps you understand better. She is kind, and caring, provides helpful reviews, and tells stories relative to the topic for better engagement.

She's chill and tells stories which makes the class more fun. Make sure to read the book she assigns and do the work and you'll be fine. It's fairly easy and she broke up our 6 page essay in sections which made it easier to do. She asks us to bring a question/comment to share to make sure we're reading the book, but it's really easy...just read.
