Mrs. Ralph is awesome! She can make the worst math student into a math master. She KNOWS math forward, backward, and side ways. Uses different techniques until you understand...very patient! Not intimidating at all.

Ms. Ralph is great teacher. She young and she is not bored the subject matter. Ms. Ralph explains the material throughly and give reviews right before she hands out the exam. She also gives her students opportunities to enhance their grade. Good Job!

I took a computer-assisted class, but she is very helpful. She walks around and makes sure you are doing okay. She gave me another chance to take a computer quiz I didn't do so well on. I would reccomend her.

Absolutly on of the best math teachers I have ever had, I actually got what she taught and she was really open to helping. For teaching once a week she went at fast pace but she never jumped a head if you didn't understand the lesson. Definently recomend her, wish she could teach other math classes.

She is a great professor, very helpful and kind, teaches alot, but in terms a monkey could understand. If you email her with questions, she responds within hours. I've never had a better Math teacher.

I enjoyed taking Mrs. Ralph's class. She really does all that she can to hlp students learn. She writes all probs out & walks around the room. Very nice.Hard class for summer. Tries to be lenient- ie partial credit on tests, book homework not collected but is used during quiz so do it! drops lowest quizzes, 4 or 5 angel assignments-also averaged.4 chpt tests, +1 final. One complaint- no review or study guide for FINAL?? eeek! that hurts.

AMAZING TEACHER!!! I hated math before her, now I understand it great and her summer course in 08 got me an A in my Fall class. She is absolutely amazing. She is very personable and is sure to remember her student's names which is always nice. I wish she was my teacher now, lol. However much SPC is paying her it's not enough, that's for sure.

Online course. She answers emails quickly and always gives a clear/detailed answer. She will use a video to explain her answers! No book, we used Plato online, which I feel needs an overhaul.. Outdated material, slow and I had to seek other ways to learn the material. Aside from that, I am looking forward to taking Mrs Ralph next semester.

Mrs. Ralph is awesome! She is so helpful and responds to you very quickly. She is very fair and I wish I could take her for my next class. She does tend to be a little harder on tests but as long as you do your homework then you should be okay.

Took online. Ralph is quick to reply to emails and always there to answer questions, but online it is difficult to explain sometimes. You are given lessons through Plato, and need to be self disciplined. No matter how well you do in the class, if u fail the final you don't pass. SO pay attention!

She had videos of herself working out the problems, had labs for us each unit to keep the past work fresh in our minds. She had a great review set up for us for the final. I hate math, and wasn'table to pass the class, and she gave me an N NOT an F!

She is one of the best math teachers I have had. She is clear and great at showing how she got a answer for a problem. She is always available for help or any questions you may have. Always responds to emails. She always records her lessons so you can go on angel to watch them and review, best thing if your a person who misses class a lot.

I took this class online and was amazed by how helpful this teacher is. If you have a hard time doing math online and have no other choice choose her. She uses many different ways to show you how a problem is worked and will work with you through your problem. By far best teacher here!

She is a great teacher, sort of. She teaches extremely fast and expects everyone to know exactly what to do without any problems by the end of class. Which, is very hard for some students. She does offer help, and when you do get help it is nice. I just wish she would slow down a little in the lecture.

She's a luxury to have when it comes to taking a math class. Each days work in class shows up online in a video. She's well paced and pauses for anyone. It really cant be much easier.

She makes it very clear that she is available to help. All questions posted on the message board were promptly answered. She sent messages regarding the assignments and due dates each week, and posted videos covering material for upcoming tests. Midterm and final reviews were extremely helpful and relevant to the actual tests. She was fantastic!

The best math teacher by far! She is so sweet and willing to help! She does a great lecture and then lets you do your work and is there to help. Shes funny too, her class isnt boring. Shes AMAZING take her class!!

Great Teacher

For many this math class may seem like a breeze. I am not one of those people. Professor Ralph was very helpful to me from the beginning. She is an exceptional instructor.

Professor Ralph was a gr eat teacher. For an online math class i was surprised. Everything is done through ALEKS and you have two weeks to finish each module. The assignments are clear and easy and the professor is willing to help if needed. id absolutely recommend this class and teacher to anyone

Professor Ralph genuinely cares for her students and wants you to succeed. She sends weekly emails and encourages you every step of the way. If you have any questions she is quick to reply and helps you figure out how to reach a solution.

This will be my 2nd semester with Professor Ralph. I'm taking a 7:00 evening class just so I could have her as my instructor. ALWAYS available to help when you get stuck. She goes over every little thing in the modules very clearly. I suggest taking notes of what she writes on the board during lectures. I am very grateful to Professor Ralph!

I have always struggled with math and this is the first time in my life I feel confident answering problems. Mrs. Ralph is really strict on attendance but will go above and beyond to make everything clear and doesn't care how long she has to explain problems. I would take her for every math class if I could.

Professor Ralph is very engaging as a professor. She wants you to succeed as long as you are willing to put in the work. She definitely makes the formula's make sense in the real world and tries to make every class fun and encourages questions and participation. Loved this Professor!

Mrs. Ralph was great. Since her class, I found out I technically did not need to take this class, however, she really made it worth it. I was out of school for a long time and was not excited to get back to math; if I could even remember any of it. Her teaching style was clear and positive. She reminded me that I actually use to love math.

Mrs. Ralph is a great instructor to have for the algebra lab course. Weekly in-class assignments, and two exams. Always availble if you you're having difficulty or need to ask a question. Overall, awesome professor!

Mrs. Ralph is a good choice as an instructor for college algebra. There is a lot of work in this course, but it can be accomplished in a 16-week semester. 5 modules, 5 quizzes, and a midterm and final exam. Is available outside of class if needed. As long as you stay on track of everything, you should be just fine. Overall, great professor.

Her lectures were pretty straight forward. If you needed any help during it, you would ask and she would clarify. There wasnt a lot of note-taking, but only if you needed it. She gave a lot of examples that would help when studying and on the Aleks math software she made us use. She also gave helpful memorization techniques to remember some topics

I have struggled with math grade school - highschool and Ive always been so flustered with it. I can honestly say I hate math , but professor Ralph is so great. Im taking her for liberal arts I. She explains things so well shes very clear and if you have a question she wont move ahead she makes sure you understand I will take her for all math!!

I took College Algebra class with professor Ralph on this summer. Her lectures are really good, for she is very detailed in the explanations and clear to understand. He teaches in a way that makes math really less harder than from what actually is.

I took Mrs. Ralph for College Algebra. Great professor. I have taken many math classes and she is by far one of the best. You need to be in class for the lectures but she is willing to meet with you outside of class to help you pass. She gives you all the opportunities to pass and it's up to you to do well. I have taken this course 3 times in the past and failed it each time. This time around with Professor Ralph was fantastic. The material was challenging but she takes the time to help you when you ask. She responds quickly to any concerns. She makes great helpful videos and worksheets (since its online) that truly made a difference.

As someone who isn't strong in mathematics, Professor Ralph is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She managed to connect with us as students despite not being there in person. She makes lectures and criteria very clear and always gives you the chance to improve if you're willing to put in the work.

If you needed any help during a lecture, you could ask and she would clarify. Always sent emails if she felt you were a little behind with the ALEKS topics. A lot of work but gave plenty of resources to make sure you understand the material. Not that hard of a professor. Honorlock on every chapter quiz, the midterm, and the final.

Hear me out, this class requires studying but this teacher does care and is super helpful on everything! There is a system this teacher uses called ALEKS and it makes it super easy to learn!! 10/10 recommend!!

She's one of the best professors I've ever had! She took time during her lectures to make sure you understand every part, lecture usually finished in 20-40 minutes and she gives you time once the lecture is over to do homework. If there are any misunderstandings she is happy to help. You can tell she really does care and wants the best for you.

She explains things very well and is very adaptable to everyone's learning speeds, so she will slow down if the majority is struggling, or offer a zoom session is just a few people are struggling. Professor Ralph was very understanding and had a clear class on subjects, she explained everything very well, what was on the homework was exactly the criteria on the test. I struggle in math, this being my 2nd time around it was a lot more simple for me, she also reply's very fast and was there for a lot of my questions

Great professor I learned more from her than I have from any other teacher I had in both highschool and college. I would have loved to take her again, she was understanding, had great explanations and her classes were always interesting I was very young when I took her class and she was great for what I needed. All tests are proctored

She's very awesome professor. If you be on top of the quizzes and Tests, I guarantee you will get an A. Make sure you study at least 2 hours a day.

She is a good teacher, makes her expectations clear. Her lectures are very organized and makes sense. If you have any concerns are questions, she's an email away or her office is open. Overall, I would take her class again.

This is my first math course with a professor, and I would retake her class. Although she doesn't accept late work, you have two weeks per module, of which there are 8. The midterm exam is worth 20% of your final grade, and the final exam is worth 25%. The calculator restrictions are strict, but this is a developmental math course.

Professor Ralph uses ALEKS and weekly Zoom sessions to cover the course well. Attendance is mandatory, but the grading is straightforward if you stay on top of the work. Unstuck ai was a lifesaver for practice and review.

I messaged Prof Ralph sometimes multiple times a day when working through this class, if it was during 'office hours' I always got a clear and very thorough response (sometimes she even did a video walkthrough on the problem) within the hour. If I sent messages in the evening or on weekends, I still got a response within the day.

Professor Ralph provided opportunities for extra credit and answered questions promptly via CANVAS messaging. The grading was fair and she dropped the two lowest grades (not including exams). I would definitely take her class again!

I took MGF 1130 but it's not listed as an option. I've known many teachers personally and professionally, and had many teachers through life. Paula Ralph is the real deal. Hands down the best teacher, I've ever had in my life. She's incredibly smart, articulate, and makes math make sense!
