Awesome! Very personable, easy going..interested in his students progress, not only in his course, but in life. Offers extra credit. Is extremely helpful. There is a quiz every clas, so attendance is mandatory or you'll miss it. He is flexible and understanding, a knowledgeable pathologist.

i took him for a summer term and hes AMAZING!! supper understanding he knows students have a life and that they work and he really takes it into consideration. he was great the material wasnt the easiest because we only had six weeks to cover it and he was extremely understanding of that as well. he goes over the tests and is just overall caring!

ez class, 1st test majority failed, then he gave us a retake of test, i mean come on how many professors do that, and ohh yea everyone passed the retake test, he knows his stuff and its real comon sense whats gona be on tested, NO BOOK NEEDED

Super easy professor! You dont really need your book unlerss bio is your major. He gives you a study guide with exact questions and answers given on review day, that will be on the test. You dont even really have to be in class to pass. just memories the study guide and do extra credit he always gives and you pass EASY! RECOMMENDED!

Very nice teacher and straight froward with the info you need to know. Quizzes and practicums come as no surprise if you listen in class and study. Unfortunately students take advantage of how nice he is and he seems to be getting sick of it (I don't blame him)

Prof. Hoyo is superrr sweet. Hes a cute old man. all he really does is play the powerpoint videos and gives you a couple easy assignments. the class is ok just do good on 5 the tests (which he gives u the answers for) and youll pass with an A. (( dont need the book))

Professor Hoyo, is a very helpful and sweet. He gives you many hints on what to study for the tests, and also he gives a review before the test which is very good! The attendane is not mandatory, but if you have perfect attendance he will give you a 2% extra on your grade. Tests are not multiple choice, but it is ok that way you learn more!

Professor Hoyo is a great professor! Im currently taking him for BSC2085L and he makes the class interesting and extremely easy! There is alot to study and memorize but he helps you alot and makes sure the whole class understands everything. He does have a strong accent but he isnt hard to understand! I definately recommend him! Book isnt required.

BSC 2086L - Great professor! Super understanding and will go out of his way to help you if needed. He is fair, takes care to teach in a way that will help you do well. Gives a good review prior to quizes and practicums but you will have to study in order to do well. The best thing is he teaches you what you need to know and does not go overboard.

Professor Hoyo seems very boring at first, but all you have to do is find some friends and focus your time to study for his class. Everything is based off of his powerpoints. It really helped me to sudy in groups. Anatomy 2 is not an easy subject, not to mention the lab, but you can do it if you put your mind to it. ADVICE: try hard on every test.

He's possibly the most dedicated professor in all of MDC. He has a genuine interest in his students and will do everything he can to help you. However, if you think it's an easy class and you don't have to study, you'll fail. It's very hard but if you STUDY STUDY STUDY and take it seriously, you'll pass with an A. This is quite possibly the most genuinely nice and helpful professor ive ever encountered. You'll probably find his lecture boring at times and his tests are pretty hard, but if you study the structures and stay after class and ask for help and really try to do better , this guy will make sure you pass his class. Great professor that cares about his students as long as you show interest in the class/ subject. The test are not as hard as long as you study. Is a Power Point mostly based class so you won't really need the book, tough I recommend it for studying. As far a study guides there isn't, so basically pay much attention to what you covered in class.

Great professor, take him. The class is basically 4 quizes and 3 practicums. No homework or projects. Just print the PowerPoints and get a highlighter so you can mark what you need to study. If you do this you won't be lost trust me. Take him , he's a very caring professor.

This professor is beyond helpful! He does have an accent. There are 3 test and 3 quizzes in-between test. If you interact with him after class or during his office hours, he will help you out. No one really fails his class unless you really don't want to pass. He will give you chances time and time again.

Really great guy. No book needed, everything is in the powerpoint that he provides. Doesn't speak very clear, and all exams have a second half done through powerpoint where he points to the questions with a laser.. he goes fast but if you miss something he will help you out. Professor Hoyo, is an incredible professor for BSC2086L. He uses the powerpoints as lecture and mentions which powerpoints are very important for the exam. There are 3 practicums and 4 quizzes. He also gives 2 mini homework assignments that are very easy to do. He is very kind and truly cares for his students. Highly recommend this professor!!

Professor Hoyo is a really good professor, quizzes every 3 weeks, 3 practicums and the easiest of homeworks!! A little messy but you can manage to make sense out of it.

First of all, you can't miss class because he tells you what he will test on, you won't have to buy a book he gives you the powerpoints with are the best in the school. For those that are having a hard time in the class keep in mind that you need to know this stuff its not like the Pythagorean theorem

All I can say is like this professor no one. I had a little of a rough semester and he was beyond understanding, he was available through mail and class was easy as long as you studied.
