This is the best teacher I had in my years at HFCC. His class will be some of the most fun you've ever had in a class room.

San Antonio is the best teacher you will ever have. He made me a good writer and helped me understand how to write a good paper. I never liked Eng. and was nervous whenever I had to write a paper: however, because of him I love writing.

he is a very good teacher. he does not pile papers up for you to read.he gives you reasonable homeworks sometimes. he has a very cool way of teaching. he communicates very well with students not just as teacher but more as a friend. he makes points very clear. he is also very funny.

he truly understands the art of teaching.you want to learn how to write then take with san antonio..i have become a far better writer than i ever imagined i would be

his class discusions are awsome, and everything goes, you can say whatever you want as long as you don't wonder too far off the subject.

Took him for ENG 131 in winter 03. He never returned papers except for one. Very nice guy but class is all about debate/discussion. Only B i ever got for my elective courses and he wanted me to take honors english too. I would recomend him to anyone who likes to participate in class discussions.

Best teacher ever! he let us correct our own midterms and we only had to write 3 papers! hes very nice and loves discussions..i would for sure recommend him!

Fun class especially the discussion sessions. Most of the discussions and writing topics were romantic comedy.He returns papers on a timely manner and allows one full week for students to rewrite them in order to get a better grade. Encourages students to see him during his office hours to talk about how to improve the students' level in writing.

he's a very good teacher. very clear on what needs to be done and is willing to help at anytime. class gets out of hand sometimes because i think he is to nice to tell peopole to shut up. very layed back teacher and work is easy class is a breeze i am looking forward to taking his 131 class later on.

if you did not take his classes. wtf you waiting for. great teacher. he is very very smart. i respect his openions. walla he made me open my eyes on alot of things on this world. his classes are easy but you have to work to get a good grade. still take it for the sake of humanity.

The guy is pretty easy, but not as easy as everyone says he is. I got an A- but im relatively good at english. 132 is a pretty complicated course itself, but class disscussions are pretty fun and he's a real cool guy. For the most part you gotta be there. He gives you quizzes often on the readings. Participate every now and then too.

Very easy class.

First of all he is NOT EASY. I love english and i do fairly well in it and i got a sad A-! I worked my behind off too! So if your not good in english dont bother taking this course. He is a very nice guy but his course was VERY VERY HARD!! I heard he was easy but he was far from it this is a warning for everyone whos looking for an easy A!NO WAY!!

he is a good teacher.. but you have to work a lil and its expected to be like that.. ITS COLLEGE PEOPLE ITS NOT ELOMENTARY SCHOO... SO WAKE UP.

I loved taking this class. I took this summer and my lectures were 4 hours long but I didn't miss one of them cuz they were fun. You have to read the books, but you will have so much fun discussing them in class that it's worth it. My advice is participation in class,and creativity in essays. I totally faild one of in class essays but still got A

Mr. San Antanio is a great professor. I had him for 088 and 132. I got an A in 132. He isn't easy like everyone said he is, but you will learn materials in his class that will last you a life time. I HIGHLY recommand him.

He makes the class fun. You have a lot of work to do but I think he's a good teacher.

I heard, he is the best but he is extremely hard....I would not recomened him...If you oftenly see him in the office, He helps out. But I guess 132 is a hard class no matter who you take it with. There are too many paper writing in his class. And 2 inclass essay in final exam.

A tough grader doesnt give much chance in reviewing your papers. I dont recommened him for Eng 132. Many students FAILED the class other than the DROPS do not take him unless you want some action in class "in class is awesome"

San Antonio is a very good professor. I like his teaching style, although he does tell a few too many corny jokes. You need to be a strong reader / writer to pass his course. My grades have been all A's so far (even on papers), so he does give out good grades. The first half of the class is all reading, so be prepared. I do recommend this class!

This is a good defention of a teacher that cares or loves his work, anyone who wants an easy A (You should not be in college)this is not the class for you, you want to learn then this is the best class for you , best teacher to work with a pleasure to be in his class.

he is funny, especially when he laughs at his own jokes. we only had about 3 essays all semester. we usually talk about movies and politics, but its interesting. great teacher, i highly reccommed him.

GREAT professor! Make sure you pay attention in class and read the books/novels/short stories. He's a great guy and he's extremely easy to get along with. Movies were great. If you read Homage To Catalonia in his class, it's the worst book ever written and should be burned. Kind of tough grader, but I got an A. Take it in the summer, it's easy.

Great teacher if you love to read. Loved the class discussion and he gives crystal clear instructions on every assignment per handout. Gives u choices on what type of paper u want to write every time;)

If you cannot comprehend dry sarcasm or bluntness, you might get lost. You have to actually do the work, participate in class, and you have to be able to chain together coherent thoughts and opinions. So if you can't do that, don't take it. Otherwise, it is an amusing and interesting class.

Interesting and very laid back guy. He's flexible, will work with your needs, and keep it interesting with witty humor. For English 132, expect several novels to read and understand moderately well. He grades not so much on the nature of your opinions, your taste, or broadness of vocabulary, but on the structural elements in your essays. Very fair.

I took him for ENG 132 and I loved his class. He's such an amazing professor and his willingness (if that's a real word) to help students earn a good grade is amazing. He's very kind and respectful, even when he's giving out constructive critism. The papers are fairly easy and he didn't have a textbook. I would HIGHLY recommend taking his class.

Great teacher.. Had him for 132. Works WITH students not against them. Gives you tons of different topics to write on for each assignment so you arent stuck on just one. Be prepared to read several books. Be concise, logical, and practical with your arguments and he will accept it even when he totally disagrees. ABSOLUTE RECOMMENDATION.

This is the best english teacher I've ever had. English is really not one of my strong points, however I got an A+. You have to read the stories, but quizes were not hard at all. This teacher actually made me like english. He was very fair with grades and explained what he was looking for in papers very clearly. Take him!

I really like this class. Mr. San Antonio really explain everything to you! Its a lot of reading but the information is very interesting,I have learned so much from him. He is the one instructor that you wish you had for all your English classes.

My favorite teacher this semester. I actually enjoyed going to his class. He really inspired me to become a better writer, maybe even publish a book one day. I really liked his class that much... He does assign an essay every 2 weeks or so, but allows you to turn in a rough draft that he checks and gives you the chance to rewrite it. An easy A

He's an okay teacher. You can tell he's passionate about his study. He makes sure to run the class accordingly, and doesn't mind extending deadlines. Personally, I wouldn't take his class again, not because he was bad, but I just don't have that connect that would make me want to take him again. But in general, pretty good teacher.

Professor San Antonios passion for teaching and willingness to help the students understand the material are just one of many reasons why I believe hes a wonderful teacher. The way he presented the material made the course both interesting and educational and this approach allowed for a fun classroom environment.

Professor San Antonio was one of the greatest professors I had attending Henry Ford. You will work for the grade but it was worth it because I soon realized I had a passion for English. He is willing to work with you as long as you try. Take him and you will not regret it!

I took Professor San Pedro over the summer as an online class. Loved the class, made me really think about I want to say in my papers. He was often helpful and return your emails in a prompt manner. Always clear, grades fairly, and occasionally will let you turn in homework late. It's clear he loves the subject he teaches. Get ready to read a lot.

I really liked Mr. San Antonios class, he is very nice, easy going and a fair grader. He only assigns readings and essays to write as homework. I would recommend anyone to take his class because if you do your homework you will do good.

Mr San Antonio is a good teacher. Great lectures and have good topics to talk about. Class is only reading and essays. Good class overall and nice teacher. But iIthink he is a little tough on grading but it's college.

Mr. San Antonio was a very good professor he is always willing to help when you need it, lectures keep you engaged, and he is funny. You will for sure need to read due to the lectures usually being based off the readings, but other than that I highly recommend his class. I could tell he really loves his job.

I had Mr. SAN ANTONIO my first year at Herny Ford college for winter semester and he was very patient with me he took his time to make sure I understood the work and I got a passing grade I will take his class again for sure.

Pedro san antonio was an awesome professor. I took his english class online and it was quite a challenge. He was there for me tho and always responded to his emails. I even met him in person for some help and he is willing to help anybody! He gives good feedback on your papers and is there for you. I got a b in the class i would take him again.

Mr. San Antonio is one of the best English professors I've ever had. He's interesting, enthusiastic, and seems to care a lot about his students. I understand why his class is hard for some. He assigns a lot of reading and grades meticulously. Attend class, do the reading and you'll do well. Try to make a connection with him, he's a very nice guy.

Attend class and put in the work. Mr. SanAntonio is a really pleasant man and does his best to get the class engaged. You have to read the material to talk about the material. I would take his class over every semester if I had to.

This teacher cares about his students so much!! He loves a great discussion in class and is funny. His tests are really easy if you just do your reading. Start ahead of time on essays and ask him to revise to end up with a good grade, that's the most important!

Great guy, great teacher. He genuinely cares about his students and respects everyone in the classroom. LOTS of class discussions, through out the semester we touched a lot of interesting subjects. He is really understanding also. He does give surprise quizzes sometimes, but as long as you read through the material, you should be good.

My favorite instructor by far at Henry ford. Hes a very nice instructor that truly cares about his students and understands that you have a life outside of his class.

If you enjoy reading and questioning authors opinions than this class is a solid choice.

The class was enjoyable. The writing assignments are challenging but give lots of creative freedom. Class discussion was fun and informative.

Fall '19. Books teach you more how to write the types of essays. In class: just discuss readings which can help think & make up new ideas. 2 in class essays, 3 take home. He gives you a chance to correct take home ones. He's a TOUGH grader, but overall you WILL improve in your writing. He's VERY understanding & knows life gets in the way sometimes.

Such a great professor! He's super caring and he seems like such a sweet soul. San Antonio is probably my favorite professor at hfc and he teaches you about things that actually matter in the world. We learned about something in class that helped me choose my major so that's always nice. I'm a good writer so his class was a breeze.

Best professor I've ever had. His topics for papers are fun and the work he assigns is very versatile. He tries to teach his students things that would help them in the real world and he's a very sweet person. You do have to be a good writer to get good grades for his class through. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mrs. Pedro is the best. I am new at English and he helped me a lot. I took the class at summer and online. It was my first online class, and I was so worried that I will not be able to keep up. But he made everything essay all the work he assigned are very interesting and easy to work with. I would highly recommend you guys to take him.

Prof. San Antonio is the father figure I never had and the teacher that I'll always cherish and remember. Truly lucky to have had a class with him. If you value education and want to learn, he will help you. His class isn't very difficult if you do your part. His sincere encouragement is just a bonus.

I would 100% take his class again, but he gives a lot of reading but it's easy reading.

He is one of the best professor I have ever seen and had. If you do your work, you pass, it is that simple. He is always more than happy to help students with essays and assignments on zoom and if you have any question. I would definitely take him again.

He is a great teacher. every two weeks he will ask for an essay about 4-5 pages long. and the final was easy. he gives you time for everything. he can extend the due date if you need time to finish your essay. if you do your best work you will get an easy A. I highly recommend this teacher.

Assignments were straight forward. Doing the necessary readings helped with doing the assignments properly. Very fair! Always responsive to email's and questions

He seemed like a professor that cared for his job. Some people liked him, some didn't. I feel like if you put in the effort, you'll pass. I think my writing has improved by the end of the semester. You didn't need to use the book. We had 3-4 page writings every 1-2 weeks. Sometimes he threw in a 4-5 page one. There were no tests or quizzes.

He gives an essay every other week. Usually 3-4 pages some are 5-6. Tough grader; However he leaves great comments about what could use fixing and what was good. If you're lucky he'll leave a compliment. He takes a while to grade but I believe that was due to personal issues this semester. He requires the book but you don't use it. Great professor.

he's a great teacher, he did hear everyone out in class and loves to open a debates and see how we all reacted to it. I have seen him help out a lot of students to understand and he ask us every week to have a zoom or office meeting to see how are we performing. I have seen some say he gives a lot of reading but not really for an English class

professor was great. His grading system is a bit tuff every 1 point is 1% of your over all grads of the class so if you get an assignment that is 5 point=5% or 10 points=10% of your over all grads in the class but overall its really nice class 6 essays 10 quizzes and 1 research he helped a lot of students get better grades, would take him again

Fantastic professor. I have never liked writing classes, however this one was super fun. The prompts were exciting, and he left very kind and genuine responses to my papers.

This class is reading-heavy and requires strong critical thinking and writing skills. It is tough to adjust to at first, but it is more than worth it. You'll come out of this class as a better person and a better student. San Antonio is a great professor, caring, and funny. Go to him if you're concerned, have issues, or just want to talk.

Professor is pretty demanding, with lots of quizzes and essays. But if you stay engaged and use study aids like unstuck study, you can do well. Grading can feel subjective, but office hours help a lot.
