Lectures are boring and hard to follow. Lepage reads lecture from typed notes. Poor communication for an INTRO class to A&P. Unclear about what to study. Learn more from reading book on your own and attending open labs. Test questions contain "trick" words. Take this class with someone else.

Lepage is a horrible teacher. Tests are made to trick you not teach you. Teaches as if you were a collegue not a student. Boring monotone lectures that talk about more of her life stories than the material. No help when you ask a question & everything is done her way. She says "That's the way it is"

Lepage is extremely unpredicable even if you study every day and think you know it all. She will some how find away to mess you up and deduct points. Im a diligent student and very concerned about how well I do. Im disappointed in what I get out of all the effert I put in. Very frustrating class.

Very unclear with everything that is asked for. BORING monotone voice with a big ego. Learned more by teaching myself than listening to her. Would never take a class from her again.

This coures is offered at several other colleges, like Hennepin Tech, so if you have the choice take it there. I wish I had!!! My friends told me about LePig, but I didn't listen. I am one of the lucky ones and will get a high B in this class. Over 60% of this class has dropped or failed!!!!!!!!!

The instructor in this class is very tricky and uses little games to try to get you to fail. It is extremely difficult to take her test if you do not have English as a first lanuage. If you are foreign student do not take this instructor, no matter how good of student you think you are.

This class is very difficult. Her voice is monotone and very soft, so it makes it hard to follow in lecture. She knows her material well, but does not try to help clarify, and definitely has a short temper when asked questions.

If you are a Siegfeld fan you will have the chance to take the "Soup Nazi" for an instructor!!LePage is just like him, she wouldn't listen, rude, has no time for you, and is very boring. Take someone else if you have the chance.

The greatest joy you can bring to LePage is to take her class and fail, which you will most likely do even if you work extremely hard. This instuctor doesn't teach or educate, is very boring, and disrespectful of students. Find someone else or somewhere else to take this course.

Anyone who tells you this is a good but"difficult" professor is lying to you! They would love to see you take this class and get low grades, especially when you apply to advanced programs like nursing. Do not under and conditions take this nasty person for your instructor!!! This teacher has a good example of someone who knows the subject, but does not have the ability to teach. She is very bad to her students and will not help you or make it clear what you should study or what is important. If you value your time and don't want the abuse,take someone else for this class.

WOW!!! The numbers are in, AND THEY DON'T LIE!!! Of the 96 students who started this class only 32 won't be retaking it, that means 64 will have to use their time and money to do this class all over again. What a wonderful teacher Lepage must be to have such a high rate of sucess!

Well my girlfriends at work told me how terrible Lepage was, but unfortunately I didn't listen. I wish that I had!! After working extremely hard on this course and putting up with the abuse and rudeness of LePage, I get to take it again. I passed, but my grade wouldn'g getme into nursing school.

Think of your worst day and your worst teacher. Now take LePage and you can have your worst day everyday!!!

Real simple take a look at LePage and than take a look at the comments on Dr. Ross. It becomes real easy to decide who to take. Dr. Ross is a kind person who will help you suceed and is an excellent instuctor. Lepage is just the opposite.

I did not have this prof, I had Dr.Ross. I had friends that had this prof at the same time as me and we learned the same exact material, it's just she tested you more to make your life misserable. You will not get anything more from her, except a bad grade. If you are serious about the health care profession and want success, take Dr. Ross.

I agree with the comment below. I have had both Dr. Ross and I've had LePage. The material is not different, but Dr. Ross is a much better teacher. Dr. Ross is staight forward and doesn't try to trick you, with her if you do the work you will get a good grade and learn much more than LePage.

LePage doesn't try to educate you to the subject. She is more interested in showing you how smart she is and how stupid you are!! She likes her power over students and isn't afraid to abuse it or you.

This instructor has no idea how to effectively teach or educate students at a college level or any other level. Her tactics of suprises and tricks don't serve to perpare or educate anyone, they just confuse and demotivate the students.

Lepage has a big ego.Your grade will not only depend on your test scores,but also her personal opinion of you.She may know the subject well herself,but has no clue how to teach it.You will be tested in lab over subject not covered in lecture for weeks.The tests suck. Her teaching is condoned by NHCC, or they would have gotten rid of her years ago.

The person below is correct, this professor shouldn't be teaching anywhere!! Her lack of organization and clarity cause students to over study and still not be prepared. Maybe it is covered or maybe it isn't, but you will never know from this professor if it's important.

In fourteen years of education this is the worst instructor I have ever had the displeaure to meet. She is rude, nasty,abusive and spiteful, on her best day. On her worst day you don't want to know!

To the writer below. You got very lucky!!! I didn't know how bad LePig was and unfortunately took her. It was the worst educational experience I've every had. I worked hard and learned very little. She has no idea how to teach or train anyone. She nasty to the students and could care less if you learn.

Lepage is one of the best reasons why there shouldn't be tenure. She is totally worthless as an educator and yet she can't be fired. If she is your only choice look at Hennepin Tech, they have many of the same courses available with good educators. Metro State is also a good alternative.

WARNING: If you are a minority do not take this person for classes. LePage doesn't like minorities and especially dislikes Asians. She will do every sneaky little thing to get you to fail. Take Ross who is not **** or find another place to take your classes.

If you have enrolled in A&P with Lepage RUN!!!!! Get out now and don't waste your time or money on this course if she is teaching it!! A&P is taught at many schools and you will have a much better educational opportunity if you tranfer for this course. With Lepage you will work extremely hard learn nothing and have to take it again.

Completely agree with the comment below. I had heard about LePage before I took it, but figured people were just whiners. Boy, was i WRONG!!! Take all these comments seriously if you are enrolled in her class now, and run for your sanity's sake! and your gpa's sake! Its no use staying to bang your head against a brick wall! I can testify to that!

LePage knows a lot of information, she just lacks the ability to present it in a way for ANYONE to understand. She is one of the worst teachers I have ever had.

I had Lepage last fall and it was as bad as these comments reflect. I did take the advise given here and went to Henn Tech, five minutes from NHCC. I learned twice as much as from Lepages class and was able to pass with an A. My advice take Dr. Peterson over at Henn Tech.

She is a psycho! She thinks that she's a genius just because she got her doctorate, but if she's so damn special then why is she teaching at a community college?

I had her last fall and she is just a nasty as she was than. Anyone who tells you that she is "nice" or "clear" or what ever is just lying or one of her little pets. If you can't figure out that this is a horrible teacher, you shouldn't be in college.

This professor is in deep and dire need of long-term psychological counseling. She is in no way fit to be attempting to educate anyone and should be immediately removed from the faculity of NHCC.

I have yet to see a positive comment on this person. I am interested to know people's thoughts as to why she is still teaching here. It is clear that she shouldn't be, so why do we still have to pay her, when there are many good teachers available.

She is still teaching here because she is to nasty to quit and the management is to wimpy to fire her. I've had this teacher and in any other company she would have been fired a long time ago.

This is the worst teacher at NHCC. You should take her just to find out how horrible a teacher can be. You will find out what its like to have four continous months of "that time of the month"

There are so many good options and ways not to have to put up with the misery of taking this "teacher" that it makes no sense even considering risking her class. I wish that I hadn't!!!!!111

Now I remember what it is like to be treated like a kindergartner once again. If you like sudden eruptions of fury she's your gal. I wish there was another Bio teacher willing to teach 2112. Maybe she ought to consider thinking about her behaviour since she is aware of these critical reviews.

The reason there is not another teacher is so that Lepage can have a job, no matter how bad she is! It is clear that if students didn't have to take her they never would.

I think she wrote the 1/06 review herself.... she's an awful teacher. Reads notes to you in lecture instead of explaining, unreasonable when probs arise. Don't take her! She has lots of knowledge, but presents it poorly. Be prepared to figure the info out yourself. Got a B, but had to work insanely hard for it!

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!! I have heard many, many times (some of the nicer teachers have let it slip also) that LePage is still teaching because she has Tenur!!! She doesn't give a Sh*t about the students, she reads her notes for lecture, she gets pissy if you have a question in lab. She will tell you the 1st day of class 50% WILL FAIL!!!!!

Wow, I only get 350 letters to explain why you should not take this lady? I'm shocked there are even some good comments. I have never worked so hard and gotten so little out of it. I'll never forget when she said, "Good luck on the mid-term, but luck doesn't have much to do with it!" Unbelievable- some of the words she utters!

Not a good teacher. Grades tough. Pointless class. I took this class because I needed a science class for my generals and it was the only class available. Do not take this teacher's course! Things might've been better in her Biology of Women class, but since it was online and not an in-campus class, it seemed like we just had a lot of tasks.

I took her class to learn more about my body and the information was very helpful but when it came to assignments she was not at all easy. This class was not required for me to take and I regret taking this class because she barely helped you and was not very understanding. This class requires too much work.
