The only two classes at WSU I remember information about were 340 and 440 with Peggy. She is a great teacher and very helpful! She's fun, too.

This instructor is the best for finance. If you show that you care about your grade, you will be rewarded. Also, if it comes down to it TAKE HER OPTIONAL FINAL... she grades it relatively generously.

Her teaching explanation aren't very helpful. Study the homework. I said study, not do, the homework and you will surely get an A. Very easy but worthwhile as well.

Great instructor and lecturer if you can actually pay attention to what she is saying and not with admiring her amazing beauty. Nice lady overall.

The Fin is for fine, not finance ;) Anywaz, this class was a very easy A, and she practicall does the semester project for the students in class, you just have to take good notes while she is going over it.

Lays everything out very clearly. Some of the material is difficult, but she is able to make it considerably easier. Nail the first tests so you don't have to take the final.

Oh my... Was she a model? Not only that but I will say teaching is a gift for Peggy. She knows how to explain. Put effort into the class, don't miss any and you will get a 100%.

Absolutely great!! Not only can she teach well but she had lived through it all and can explain what happens in the real world from her own experiences.. very helpful... also... va va voom she looks hot!!!

Used to work out at Genesis.......looked great on the treadmill and extremely helpful when you have problems.

Yes she is attractive and helpful. Finally a class with no fluff. If you don't need the information she doesn't confuse you with it. Also she is extremely helpful if you have any problems understanding the course. My advice is start your project early and let her get involved she will help. Do not take either of these classes from anyone else.

Peggy would go through the text book and tell us what to study and what to ignore for exams. She was a CFO for a fortune 500 company so she brought real world experience to the class. The downside; there were 60 students packed into a small classroom like sardines and it was hard to see the board if you sat on the side. Bad Vibe!!!

Knows the material and is an outstanding teacher. A problem-solver if students take the time to ask. Needs to have more office hours for contact by students. Email is good but is not face-to-face.

Go to class if you want to know what you're doing. Her tests are easy and she'll answer any questions.

One of WSU's best teachers. She is very helpful and knows her stuff. You will learn alot from her classes and she helps you to succeed.

She grades hard on the case studies but easy on the exams. Sometimes she allows notes on the final if the class does well on the written project. Only 2 exams and do well on the 1st one cause the 2nd one is hard. Lecture sucks, if you need help go to her office to clear things up so you can do well on her exams.

Class is easy. Don't take anyone else for this class, as they are much more difficult. She's too old to be hot, those guys that say she's hot are certainly creepy.

Class is not hard. Easy to understand but her teaching skill is not that great. She is not bad, OK teacher, help students but oh no she is too old to be hot lol. You guys are hella crazy if you think this woman is hot. Focus on your study, not her appearance, because she is an average looking woman. Just study all the best you folks.

her class is easy, just make sure you study for the review sheet she provides before the exam, then you should be fine. I think she looks good for her age.

Peggy's finance classes will definately boost your gpa if it sucks. Show up to class and participate. If you get anything worse than a B, you should definately drop out of college because you are a tard. With her partial grading even if you are completely wrong she will give you half the points if you even jott something down as work.

I am not a math person... AT ALL. Peggy's class is straightforward, but it required a lot of studying on the side, and find people to study with - it helps. Doesn't change her tests very much, so if you can find an old one it's great to study with. Teaches VERY fast, so pay attention -- she lets out early! Bonus!

Awesome Teacher. I dont think we stayed for class the entire time once because she always got right to the point and let us out if we didnt have questions.

GREAT teacher. Take her class if you can! She goes through the material fast, but you can ask her to slow down. We were never in class for more than 45 minutes. Loved it. Very nice and helpful. 3 tests (MC and problems) and one 30-point project.

She is a good teacher. Always has time to answer questions during and after classes. If you are good in math, then you will do well in this class. If you work hard and know the study guides well, then you can get an A in the class

I would have gotten a better grade had I not been staring at her behind everytime she turned around... But really she was a really good teacher.

Peggy is a great teacher. She gets right to the point and doesn't confuse you with things you don't need to know for the exams. Only bad thing I can say is that it took weeks for her to post grades on blackboard. Overall, would definitely recommend her!

Awesome teacher and a really nice lady. Class is pretty much all tests and she will tell you exactly what problems will be on the test. Class was always really short because she would go over problems and then let us out. Willing to help with anything and answer any questions.

Easy teacher. Three tests, and ocassional quizzes. Tests and quizzes are pretty much the same as homework just different numbers. Homework is optional; she doesn't pick them up. However, it is recommended that you do them for the tests. Assigns one project that is super easy to do. Overall, nice lady. Take her!

It was a pretty easy class because the instructor tells you pretty much EXACTLY what is going to be on the test. Study that and you're golden. The downside is that I didn't learn much because I merely memorized the formulas. She covers the material fairly quickly in class so pay attention. I received a 99% and averaged 3.25 hours per week studying.

Professor Ward doesn't waste time with stuff you don't need to know. I personally find the material to be a bit difficult, so I spend more time on it. But she's more than happy to answer every question. Sometimes I had to ask for clarification on some things, but I ask a lot of questions anyways. If you've got to take Finance, take it with her.

She is very clear at her lectures and explains everything so you will know how to prepare for a test. She definitely cares about her students doing well and encourages students.

Professor Ward is one of the best instructors at WSU. She makes a very difficult subject seem easy. She only lectures the material she tests on, which is still a lot. She breaks the concepts into terms normal people can understand. Go to class, pay attention during lectures and reviews, and there is no reason you will not get a good grade.

She is one of the best teachers ever. She speeds up in lectures but before the tests she will give us a short review. Her schedule are amazing. I guarantee that you won't feel overwhelm. The tests are pretty much along with the homework and review. Making sure that you go over the review sheet and all the homework for the test. Project is easy.

Great professor that makes turns a subject that is otherwise boring, interesting. She brings a lot of real world experience to classes which is needed because the text book is awful. She gave me a new found interest in the field of Finance.

Peggy's Financial Management class was the best surprise of my semester. She is outstanding. She understands that students have busy schedules and doesn't waste our time. Easy project, tells you exactly what you need to know for exam, always willing to go above and beyond to help you understand the concepts. Would gladly take again!

The lectures aren't long and everything is pretty to the point. For the most parts the tests are easy enough if you pay attention in class and do the homework.

Ms. Ward's expectations are extremely clear cut, and she responds to emails with lightning speed. She puts all of the homework answers on Blackboard, which was great for an independent learner for me. I used the homework and homework answers to study the concepts, which allowed me to get A's on the tests. Great class.

You definitely need to study and memorize those formulas. Her study guide is pretty much the exam. Homework is assigned, not graded, good for practice. Discussion boards on BB. Attend lectures because it's a lot of technical material to cover. Put in considerable effort and you should do fine. I studied pretty well prior to exams and got an A.

Professor Ward is a fantastic instructor and one of the most fair graders I've ever experienced in academia. She has incredibly clear expectations and is a wonderful person overall. I highly recommend her course.

By far one of the best Professors at Wichita State. Would definitely recommend this class. Her lectures are easy to follow and she teaches material in a clear and easy to follow format.

This class is fairly easy. The material is easy to remember and the equations used are very simple. The test questions are extremely similar to the examples she goes over in class. There's a project in the class but it is pretty easy to do and she grades it pretty nicely.

Professor Peggy Ward is an amazing professor. She explains the content quite well. But make sure you go to class as the content can get confusing if you miss class. Tests are relatively easy if you go through the HW. Please go to the review day before the exam as most of the exam questions are similar to the review questions discussed in class.

This class is fairly easy if you pay attention, take notes, and ask questions.

I would describe Fin 340 with Peggy as a straight forward class or better yet well organized. Attend and pay attention to all lectures and reviews, ask questions, do the homework problems even though she doesnt collect or grade them and finally pay attention to the exam review sheets as well as the breakdowns and youll do great!

Classic example of a teacher taking challenging material and explaining it in a way that we can understand. She also does such a great job of laying out what we need to do to be successful in her class.

Professor Ward is incredible! There are no powerpoints which was strange at first, but you get used to it. We really only used the book for homework, which wasn't collected for credit. Tests are easy and are specifically what she teaches. No trickery! 4 online quizzes, 1 extra credit opportunity, 4 discussion posts. Easy class!

Prof. Ward is one of my favorite professors at WSU! She is super helpful and lets us know what type of questions will be on her tests. One test has multiple choice/short answer but the rest are simply math problems which are super easy! Take FIN 340 with this teacher!!

I would highly recommend this class face-to-face instead of online, mainly because of the help she gives in class and because she teaches you how to use your calculator and is always around after class for questions. Study hard for your tests and try to do some homework problems and you should pass! *Used textbook for classtime and HW.*

Take this class in person and with this instructor. She teaches you the concepts and how to use the finance calculator, required on all exams. HW given for practice, not graded. Study the hw and exam reviews and you will do fine in this class. Exams and discussion boards are only grades taken in this class. You must have and use the book.

The professor was nice and even offered extra credit near the end of class. Her class was very lenient and gave a large window of time for me to complete everything. Her online video lectures taught me more than enough to understand the chapters. She also posted review guides which were helpful for the exams. Overall, she's a great professor.
