I like her style of teaching, but if you ask her something she doesnt know she just wont admit it. She'll start talking nonsense or she'll change the subject. Other than that she's a fine professor. By the way, she's hot, but not that pretty.

Smokin hot body. Definitely one of the best at Mason. As for the class, the material is explained well and the exams are easy. Book is useless dont bother with it.

She's nice and the course content is pretty simple. Don't bother buying the book because she provides powerpoint presentations that cover it all. Oh and did I mention she's insanely hot?

A very beautiful woman who is very intelligent. She is ready and willing to help if you have any questions. She never puts anything on the test she hasn't gone over in class, and she def. knows her stuff.

She was very clear and concise and the students were made aware of all material that woud be covered on the tests. No complaints.

If you attend class you can't get lower then an A. HW are extremely easy. Quizes are extremely easy. Reviews before exams. Don't buy the book you never use it. Study from the slides.

Explains things really well. Not too fast and and makes the topic easy to follow. Attend class, take notes, and you'll do well. Homeworks, quizes, and tests all focus on information she wants you to know. If you're taking this course, do your self a favor - take her class!

She was very nice and kind in class, and made it easy to participate in class. The only downside would be certain principles occurred at the end of some exams that had not been covered or explained as far as I knew. The explanation of parity bits was pretty well done though. I recommend her strongly, but be sure to ask about the exams

this professor has a natural talent for engineering and has a definite gift for teaching in all respects. she is really easy to learn from and you will do well if you ask enough questions, but be sure to read the material before you get to class because I know once you get there you won't be looking at what shes writing. hot hot hot.

Dr. Aksoy is a really good professor. She is really smart and knows her material. Her class is pretty challenging, but if you go to class, do the homework and keep up with the reading, you should do well. She's also very helpful and understanding. Take her class if you can!

Very intelligent, nice woman! This class is very straightforward; just go to class (print the slides out beforehand for note-taking). The HWs and quizzes are from the slides. The tests can get a little tricky sometimes, just make sure you study for them.

P.S. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. Mine is sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust and I haven't opened it once. Everything is from the lecture and slides.

A pretty straightforward class. The lectures were helpful, and she's light on the HW. Overall she's a great professor, but she doesn't take talking during her class too fondly. And she's pretty hot.

take her class, if you want to have some appreciation of the modern technology. just don't disturb her good mood and the class environment by talking while she's delivering her lecture because she'd stop the lecture on it and start a 10-minute lecture on how it is very rude for students to talk and make noise in the class. and yes she's gorgeous.

She is a well experienced professor who never deny to help someone. She really want her students to learn something from her class and get the most out of it. Her class is very easy if u attend her lectures. Her lectures are very important and she does not teaches from the book. There are like 7 homeworks. Her TA is totally illiterate.

Easy class if you go to it. Everything is from the book cause its her book. And she is unbelievably gorgeous.

She's cute, very nice, european and wrote the book. Gives weekly quizzes and assignments. Some topics can be confusing and class interaction is nonexistant. Many people just turn in their assignments and leave (these are the ones who are complaning about their grades here). Weekly homework and case projects take about half an hour a week.

This class was real easy, Dr. Aksoy makes sure that everyone understands the material. The class in general sucked, due to a good majority of students taking it just show up to drop off homework or not interacting with the professor when posed a question. As long as you attend class and listen, you will be fine in her class.

Go to lecture. She wrote the book so it's easier to understand when she explains it to you. Otherwise, easy class. Do the homeworks, yeah they're tedious but the format of the homeworks is the same as the tests so it helps you out in the end.

As you can tell by the ratings, she is the best professor you can ever have. By the way, she is a lot hotter and cuter than this pic. One advice, read your materials before class because when she is standing up front...you won't pay attention to what she is saying but to how beautiful she is.

She is a tough prof, but you will learn a lot. Be prepared for class and you will do well.

FAVORITE teacher of my college career! explains the content extremely clearly & is very nice to talk to. the tests/quizzes are easy as hell if you go to class & pay attention. likes to slip in things she explains only in lecture on tests -- but answers are practically given to you if you go to class. I wish she'd taught the entire IT curriculum...

Dr. Aksoy's class was great. She puts all of her lecture notes online and whether you're in class or not, it's all pretty easy to understand (i had to miss a few lectures). I cannot remember a single time that I couldn't understand her and everything she said was helpful for the subject at hand.

Dr. Aksoy is very knowledgeable and helpful. She follows the book very closely (she wrote it) and if you ever miss a class you can just catch up with the book. It's in your best interest to always attend class because she take attendance sometimes and grades on participation. She gives a lot of quizzes, but they are always scheduled. Take her!

I took her IT 101 and 300. She's an excellent professor and an expert on IT and engineering stuff. If you want to learn, take her classes. Her classes weren't easy but you can get A's with a fair amount of effort. Just come to her office with questions when you need help. Easily annoyed by immature students. But who wouldn't? This is college.

I had her last semester and I got an A. Only God knows how little work I have done and I still pulled it off. If you're thinking about taking her class and wannna get an A, just listen to what she says in class and study the ppt slides before the quizes and tests. She really wants all of her students to do well in the class and offers ways to bring up your grade. It's a really dry class and she teaches from the book that she wrote...so you know that nows her stuff but the class is still dry.

Amazing Professor. Teaches you everything you need to know. I am not that much of a computer person, but I learned a lot and the class was well organized, and if you do all the assignments and study before the test you will get an A.

Explains the material well, but lecture is insanely dry. you need some sort of self-motivation and interest in IT otherwise it might be painful. Most Students that are far more familiar with IT might not appreciate her lectures, the rest will be grateful for it.

She gives more homework than my other IT classes and some are case studies from the book that really suck. She started doing team quizzes this semester but makes the questions really hard. Comprehensive exams with lots of calculations suck too.

This class is great. Her tests, quizzes, and exams are based on your homework and what you've learned in class. Very fair at grading. As long as you look over her powerpoint slides and your homeworks, you'll do fine on the tests and quizzes.

Take IT 101 with her. She's really helpful. Although there was a lot of homework she started doing team quizzes this semester which boosted up the grades. She's not an easy A - you do have to study for the quizzes, midterm and final but she's better than other professors I've had.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL IT COURSES YOU CAN TAKE WITH HER. SHES VERY NICE AND TESTS/QUIZES ARE EASY AS SHIT!

EXTREMELY fair in grading. Tests are all multiple choice, as are homework. Gives plenty of extra credit, puts all of her slides online, a really great professor. She goes out of her way to help us. The lab was very hard b/c our grad student was awful, but Aksoy is great.

aside from the fact she is hot I still liked this professor. Offers extra credit to help your grade and exams aren't too hard if you look over homeworks and prepare for the essays. Im a slacker and this is the only class i managed to get an A in this semester and i actually learned something from this class.

I took her class online, managed to meet with her often when I needed help. She's awesome. She responds to emails quickly and helps you a lot. Exams are paragraph form, multiple choice and true/false. She gives you all the material, easy A.

I wish she would teach me all the ece classes ;-)

I find her taking her job of teaching this particular course a bit too seriously. First of all, this class was completely pointless. I could have taught the course. And for such a basic class the grading is bit strict. Her tone is always as if she's speaking to a hopeless group of people.

Yes, this woman is attractive. She's very nice, knows her stuff, and doesn't look at technology as just a job like others. Take any IT class from her, especially any of the fundamental classes, because most adjuncts that AIT hires for fundamental courses are just flat-out terrible. As for IT 293, it's a piece of cake and a very informative class.

You probably already know that she is very straightforward. Go to class and write down everything she writes because her notes will serve as your textbook, don't buy the actual textbook. The lab straightforward but you have to be on top of your game. The lecture and lab really don't coincide. Practice the lab experiments to perfection.

She's very nice and is a fair grader. I took a class in HS about Digital Electronics so I knew half the class material before the semester started so I got a little cocky. Like all college classes, don't get cocky. I realized just in time. She's a good teacher and really knows her stuff. I would recommend her.

Super easy class. Take notes exactly the way she writes on the board and you should have no problem getting an A. HW and Tests are exactly from the notes, no surprises. Easy grader on the research paper. But she goes hard on participation points. you litterally have to talk non-stop if you want them all, but theres only 5% of your overall grade

I took her class as a junior and she is by far the best professor I've ever had. She is very passionate and genuinely wants you to understand. She sends out links to interesting articles and helpful free programs. Class is very visual (she uses images online) and informative, but she always allows for input and questions during lecture.

Demands attendance and attention in class. Great teacher who knows her subject in great depth . Her methods of teaching are such that the student would understand new concepts easily. --- Go to class and learn, you won't have to study for the exams. Great!

Best ECE prof, clear explanation, notes are always available on BB, great websites links provided for your interest, i wish all ECE courses are taught by her. do your work and you're going to be fine, go to lectures, really helpful.
