Great teacher. Passion for subject and learning. Tries to keep class entertaining and useful. Don't waste money on textbook for this class. He gives handouts with terms and uses WebCt. He then defines every term and reviews before every test. Focus on specific Georgia Laws for tests.

This Jon Stewart look-a-like is the best teacher ever. I had him in the morning and he sure did a good job waking me up. The topics are pretty boring but he'll make the class fun. I barely went to class. He hands out the study guides and you can fill them out yourself with the book. The tests are straight out of the study guide. Take his class!

Best Professor at Georgia State University! I loved going to his class because he's funny, energetic and interesting. I thought the content was going to be easier than what it was.. He's tricky! Know every single word! Don't study word associations, they will cost you! I don't think I picked up a the book the entire semester- we used his notes.

Quite possibly the best professor at GSU. He is hilarious & keeps you really interested. I've found the subject matter applicable in my own life. At the beginning of each unit he gives you a list of terms and while lecturing he goes over every term. Tests are fair and straight from the terms. Stay interested (NOT HARD) and you'll get an A!

Totally great professor, funniest one I've ever had. No need to get the textbook but you should go to every class. Tests can get difficult, but all material is thoroughly covered in class so you should be well prepared. Do yourself a favor and take Binder's class.

Perry is great! His class isn't easy but I wouldn't call it hard. He offers "grade insurance" papers if you have a low grade. He makes the class a fun as it can be and he is pretty fun to watch... and a little weird.

The funniest, most energetic professor I've ever had! I liked him a lot. I had his class after lunch so I was always sleepy but he made it worth my while to stay awake. :) 3 Tests...just study the terms sheet and you'll be fine. Gives a few extra credit papers. The material isn't super easy so class attendance and studying is recommended.

Most entertaining lectures. Time flies. He doesn't use the book at all. Save your $120. Don't buy it. His tests can be tricky. Study the lecture outline and take lots of notes. He offers enough extra credit to bump you up a letter grade. The class was tons of fun. He is one of the best teachers I've had.

Ive attended both Clemson & UGA & have 100+ hrs of course work & this was by far my favorite class yet. I was actually sad when it ended! Perry is hands-down the greatest instructor I've ever had. I got a 98 in his class, which is my highest final grade EVER. He will forever be the person who inspired me to go to law school.

Professor Binder is GREAT! He's loud, he's funny, and he's very knowledgeable about his subject. Class: 3 exams, 2 extra credit assignments; you don't need the textbook because he goes over all the testable material in class; you NEED to go to class each day to take the notes. Most hilarious and entertaining class I've taken at Georgia State. The subject itself is difficult, but Perry makes it interesting. He has several extra credit opportunities, 1-3 page papers, and a final 6 page "grade insurance" paper that bumps you up a letter grade if you get an F or D. None of those are required. Fun class.

Perry is very entertaining. However, I feel like his teaching style was very odd. All we did was fill out the law terms and we were tested on all of those. I am more of a person who learns better out of a book. So I didnt enjoy his teaching method. Overall, class is fun!

This is my second class with Prof Binder which I specifically took just to have him as a professor. He will keep you laughing and makes learning fun( I know it's cliche, but very true in this case). Best prof I've had overall.

There's only 3 exams. No Attendance, No Homework, No Quizzes. So you will need to make A's on the Exams to get an A in the class. He's a very entertaining teacher though. Exams are not hard, just remember the scenario of each law term he presented in class. And there's little extra credit, DO IT!

Perry is an amazing professor. I've taken 2 classes with him now. Would definitely recommend. For this class: 2 non-cumulative exams, 2 papers, 1 group presentation. Grades fairly, gives extra credit. You'll definitely have a great time taking his class. Get ready to laugh!

Top professors at GSU. I took summer '15 and there were 3 exams that made up your grade. He curves the tests and gives you 2 opportunities to bring your test grade up. He gives a packet at the beginning of the semester and all the material for that year is in the packet. If you go to every class and just listen you can get an A+ easily.

Binder is hilarious and an amazing professor. I messed up in the beginning by not listening and going to class. I also messed up by buying the book. There were 3 tests and an optional paper. You can get an A or B in the class if you actually go to class and study. I recommend quizlet for his tests!!!

We had 3 exams, and he gives us 1 extra credit opportunity. This course is mainly based on your exam scores, but he is a great professor. Overall, I would definitely take him again.

Amazing professor, very passionate about what he does and really able to click with students. The course grade is based off three exams that will often have a curve. Show up to class, take good notes, and ask questions/be interactive in lecture and you should have no problem passes this class. I would definitely take one of his courses again!

This is my second time taking Dr. Binder. He is a very smart man who clearly knows what he is doing. For LGLS 4060 you only have 2 exams and a group project and that is it so show up to class and take good notes, everything you need to know he says in class. He makes his classes interesting with his great personality too!

There is no homework. You are graded on 3 tests which are worth 25%, 35%, and 40% . Although attendance is not mandatory, you should show up and listen to his lectures because they will help you tremendously with the tests. Take good notes on the study packet he hands out at the beginning of class and that's all you'll need to study to do well.

He was very clear on what was graded and it was mainly based on 3 exams which were very straightforward and material that he would review. He told us to use quizlet, which is basically the exam. I'm taking Perry this summer along with 4 other online classes. He has been the only professor this summer to attempt to actually teach his students. While others just give us chapters and program-based learning with scheduled deadlines, Perry gave us multiple Zoom learning sessions, group test review sessions, podcasts videos, plus test reviews.

He is a pretty relaxed teacher. Just listen to his podcasts and take good notes, the exams are directly from there. He cares about participation and will make you talk, but it is always about interesting topics. I would definitely recommend taking his class. Easy A and actually cares about his teaching.

Online summer in my Master in Acct Elective. Class very interesting as he discusses everything he has assigned and relevant law in the news that are going on.I learned a lot of law to apply to my business .Tests are from podcasts, case cases,youtube videos pretty much everything he assigned to read or watch is testable which I fine fair game.Great!

Take him! He is the best professor in GSU. He cares about his students, tests are easy because the topics discussed in the class is timely, memorable and useful. He is hilarious! Paper is very easy. He grades generously, and our of all my classes, the content of the course is the most useful especially for entrepreneurs. He's awesome!

Don't be scared by the "so many papers." There are three and it is mandatory for this class, so you will have them no matter the professor you chose. Perry, however, is very lenient with grading these papers. He is also lenient with grading the tests. He always curves them. He is also funny and tells stories that will keep you engaged.

TAKE HIM! I took LGLS 3610 with him at 8 A.M and enjoyed every single class! 3 papers, but they are very easy and fairly graded! 3 tests, one non-cumulative. He usually curves them, also an extra credit paper you can do! LISTEN TO PODCASTS THEY ARE YOUR KEY FOR PASSING TESTS. Failed my first cause I didn't pay attention, but passed the rest!

Perry is a fantastic Professor. I loved his lessons and his style of teaching. Just be sure that you actually do the homework and watch the videos. If you do - you will get an A. I got an A- because I missed one. 10/10 Would recommend.

Professor Binder's class is challenging but rewarding. His lessons are engaging, and using Unstuck ai along with the textbook helps ace the exams. Definitely recommended for MBA students.

I didn't show up to most classes and didn't really do good on tests but he's funny and honestly I did all the extra credit and did well on my papers and still managed to get a B-. Which I will take. He's hilarious and I would take any course he teaches if I he was an option.

Professor Binder made the class fun and enjoyable. There's pre-class work like podcasts or cases. No busy work, so take good notes! 3 exams and 3 quizzes (quizzes are worth more). Cheat sheet allowed. Papers take 2–3 days. The TAs are super helpful and give great advice!
