I think that he is one of the nicest professors i have met. He not only trys his best to help you but he wants you to try your best as well. Dont be fooled though he does expect you to work but as i said before he is always more than happy to help. Oh and he's not a bad sight neither! pretty good eye candy!

He seems like a nice guy. As far as his looks NOt my type nor is he hot. He has you study so much material and then doesn't put half of it on his exams. I would NOT recommend this prof.. Steer clear and take someone else.

First of all the professor is HOT and he is a cool guy. If you need help regarding the material he will be more than happy to help you, he knows his stuff and makes sure you understand.His test are fair everything pretty much comes from the book, and of course no MC only short answers.i recommend the professor to other students.
He is the best he is willing to help you if you dont understand, his test are fair and they mostly consist of open endned question , and a little bit of mutiple choice that are straight form the book . i would highly recommend him because he always encourage his students to work thier hardest

Havent had a favorite professor yet in qcc? well thenlook no further then professor caampbell. Aside from hime being eye candy he's actually hilarious and makes biology a very interesting subject. I didnt like bio before him but the material is easy to understand and he will help you 100 percent after class if you go to tutoring with him. Take Him!

Professor Campbell is a smooth talking, good-humoured, helpful & considerate professor. Beyond all the classes he teaches, he also works in the tutoring center so he makes himself really available to his students. He smells good, too.
Out of all of the professors that I had last semester Professor Campbell was the most amazing! He worked straight from the Lab manual and if you needed any help with the material he was always there to help you until you grasped it. If you miss two days in his class you fail obviously, but he was so hot to look at I never planned to skip anyway!
He is extremely strict when it comes to exams and if he tells you to study a chapter he means it literally! He is a good professor for those who doesnt have responsabiities out there..
Bad bad professor 14 students are left from his biology class the rest of the class decided to drop the class because they were scared of getting bad grades> NO homework- NO projects- NO extra-credit>> Your grade is based on Test scores ONLY and not the multiple choice ones Smh
Ok his class is 100% tests and no i dont mean multiple choise. Your grade is based on only the fill in the blanks tests which he gives. I do not recommend this class and if you do take it be prepared to study the textbook word for word.
He is a good professor. He's just terrible when it comes to reviews. His tests are basically his class notes and the book. He's a bad professor to those that don't take the initiative. Every test everyone bombs his tests. He's simple as long as you can explain yourself without using the same word twice
Great professor helped go over the models after the class ended. All the lab exams were based on the lab fill in sheets he hands out in the beginning of the semester. As long as you go over that you will be good. Just have to put in the work

Professor Campbell is awesome and his class is one of the best experiences I had. I took his summer class which was intense, but he was always willing to help and listen. He never makes you feel dumb for asking silly questions or not knowing something. He wants you to know. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is patient, knows his stuff, and CAN teach! :)

This professor don't really teach you much. He literally makes you read a text book and then just quiz you on it when you get in to class. I see no point of going to his class at all when he does something like that. You're basically teaching yourself
Lecture:He gives u a syllabus wich u shuld look at thruout the whole semester, in it r the chapters u'll go over in class.No hw, NO extra credit. The exams:u have to be prepared 2 answer urself bcus they are NOT multiple choice.NO review sheet be4 the exam so u r expected to kno everything & not know what u'll be asked on the exam. Lab: same thing
He is just so lovely. The funny thing is even if you know he's prob gonna fail you, he's still lovely. Majority of the class admits he's a great teacher but we the students are just unable to get it or we don't study as much as we're supposed to. So be prepared to study hard because it's the kind of stuff you just have to get in order to progress.
I read his ratings here before I took his class & I wish I didnt take it cus I ended up withdrawing from it. his class is very hard and its no walk in the park, alota ppl dont do good on his tests and they end up droping it. if your ok with failing like some ppl then go ahead take his class but I dont got time for that. theres easier bio profesors
Professor Campbell was not an easy professor. A lot of people did drop but I stuck with it until the end and ended up with a B. I have to admit, I thought I was going to fail but he did throw in an unexpected opportunity to get a higher grade. The hardest professors always expect the best from you so, in the end, it's beneficial.
Pop quizzes , no study gudies, unclear teaching vonfusing and isnt a effective teacher, he doesn't write on the board or explains in depth he makes you get into groups to write notes and walks around and doesnt teach anything and wheb you ask him to explain something he seems annoyed smh tragedy

He is a good teacher. He treats you as a really college student. He expects that you read and then to discuss in class. If you don't want to read in college you are wasting your time in. His quizzes are SUPER easy bro! but exams are touch, you must read to know the material. All sciences classes are touch and this is college no HS. Take him!!!
He's very nice to his students. He definitely knows his stuff. However his projection isn't great and I could barely hear him. He's bland and on my first day I was suffocating. I have him for Bio lab and he mostly just lectures which I think should be less off and more of hands on things. No calculator on tests!!!!!
I wouldn't recommend taking this professor. He gives quizzes every class, barely explains anything . His exams are very tough. You can take him if you are really really really good at biology.
He's a good professor but he's horrible at giving test, he's willing to talk to you on his office hours and lecturing you about the college experience. Overall if you have the time to teach yourself from the textbook your good, but for the rest of us who try to learn from lectures not so much
Best professor! Of course he's exceedingly gorgeous BUT very professional, profound, ethical and the list goes on. The indolent students who want to accomplish perfect grades without perseverance will rate him poorly. He's a remarkably helpful intellectual despite being known for having a low projection- he repeats as often as needed. Respect him!!
He is a cool guy you'd love to converse with, but as a professor he's horrible. He gave seven exams total. He refused to make review sheetsnotes for the exams plus every exam was much harder than it should have been. I had to work my brains out in this class and only ended up passing due to the lowest grade being dropped. I would not recommend.
Anatomy is tough regardless of who your lab or lecture professor is. Professor Capmbell is one of QCC's best BI-301 lab professors.

By far one of the worst professors I have ever had. I need addition to not preparing you for any of his multiple exams, he also deviates from the provided textbook and tests you based on these deviations.
Professor Campbell was a good professor his Test Are ALL short answer, he likes to put vocabulary on it but they are all short answer NOT multiple choice. Study hard... he makes things clear and has flexible office hours.
Professor Campbell was really cool. You learn a lot in his class, but be prepared for his tests. No multiple choice!!! They're tough, but study and you'll be fine. Attendance is required, no homework. He's also easy to get along with. Cool professor overall, bumped my grade too and I wasn't all that great in his class.
No review sheets, barely any lecture, didn't teach, didn't care about students grades. All he gave was a syllabus.

Prof Campbell was great. If you do the readings and study, then you will have no problem passing his class. A lot of students complain that he doesn't give out reviews, but on the contrary when he asks "does anyone have any questions?" That is the review session. He is willing to help out during his office hours & answer any of your questions
His instructions were clear, very laid back, tests were very easy etc. Class wasn't too hard, he's a pretty nice guy and he's approachable.
This teacher definitely saw potential in me. He actually wrote my recommendation letter that got me into a 4 year college. He is very straight foward and you earn the grade you get.
DO NOT!!! Take him for lab, currently in his lab class and I am barely passing, he takes off points even if the answer is correct but not to his standard. It might sound crazy but I am doing amazing in lecture and every time I leave lab I am in tears. Three students walked out of his class because they felt hopeless. Worst decision Ive ever made.
Poor lecturer. Had him for lab. He did not teach. Wanted to f everyone friend, rather than the professor. Just stood in front of the class and did nothing. Because of his lack of teaching my grades dropped.
Had him for lab and he didn't really teach us, he would just make us work in groups and make us figure it out by ourselves. If you decide to take his class, make sure to study everything in the workbook; literally everything.
This professor PowerPoint does not go coordinately to his Tests and sometimes his H.W as well but his projects are fair and also is a very tough grader and I strongly don't recommend so Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is a great professor that really cares about if you are learning or not, I am not the best in science and I really needed to pass this class so of course I asked a lot of questions and he never had a problem with that. But beware if you want a class where you can just come to class and pass, he is not the one.

I did very poorly in his exams because he very meticulous, I even sought help from other BIO profs but even if I write exactly what Im taught, I still get some points off. Now I am in Honors BI202 and occasionally tutor his BI201Lab students whom are also facing similar problems as I did.
Worst professor I've ever had. Doesn't review for exams, just says to study certain chapters that's on the test. Takes off points for EVERYTHING. Wouldn't take him again
Professor Campbell was awesome. He is a professor who actually cares about whether or not students learn what he's trying to teach. Lots of material to read and he is extremely meticulous, but he is always more than happy to answer questions and always encourages his students to ask them. Tough course but he is always there to help.
He is very knowledgeable and wants you to learn. Gives lots of opportunities to ask questions and explain. We are in college and he will not hand everything to you. Everything is straight forward. Just go to class and review for exams.

At first Professor Campbell seems intimidating but after a few classes you will see how passionate and knowledgeable he is about Biology. Before his class I have dropped a few other Bio classes because I felt lost but Professor Campbell made his class interesting qnd was always available to answer questions. If you want an easy A, he is not it.
Hes an average professor. You have to put in some effort inorder to pass, like most classes. You have to read the textbook before class so your not lost, study the notes everyday so you dont get overwhelmed before the test. You have to try in order to do well. He teaches off a PowerPoint which I use to study which was great.

He provides tips/techniques in learning from his past of being in charge of the Sciences in the Learning Center and is available for additional instruction during office hours. So, if You want a strong foundation and want to look forward to going to class, Choose Prof. Peter Campbell.
No homework, just 4 exams including the final. Lectures are interesting and boring at the same time because he gives way too much info. His exams are not tricky, they are straightforward BUT you much be able to connect the material to eachother. He will test you on this in every exam. He REALLY wants his students to learn BIO. Fair grader.

His exams are tough, all of them are written response. but biology overall is a tough subject. Hes very engaging and is open to answering any questions. No homework but reading the textbook helped me understand the material much more. He drops the lowest grade as well. I had him for lab and lecture and i enjoyed his class. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!!
Given four quizzes along with a paper and the lowest quiz grade is dropped. He is a tough grader so take good notes.

Absolutely terrible. He makes his exams way more difficult than they need to be. All short response. He also doesn't give you enough time for them. If you ask, he says it all depends on how well you know the subject. It's harder learning online due to covid but he doesn't care. Save yourself the trouble, and choose a different professor

He is honestly no help during reviews. He doesn't teach things properly and he doesn't give extra credit and never replies to emails. I worked my butt off this class and still barely passed.
Don't take this professor if you love your sanity. He has the biggest god complex I've ever seen in my life. As a health science student who was making up credit (due to a withdrawal), he teaches things incorrectly and is very unclear on when he wants a detailed answer or not. He's unaccommodating and has no consistent way of grading.
He is truly the hardest prof I've ever had. He doesn't give any homework or extra credit opportunities to help bring up your grade to make up for the unnecessarily hard tests he gives. Don't take his class unless you plan to be a biology major, and even then I wouldn't.
His lectures were hard to get a first but after asking questions and studying A LOT it was easy to pass. His final is super hard but if you study for everything like you are supposed to then it's easy. I really enjoyed professor Campbell. Make sure to ask q's. He's a joker and really good looking if you ask me.
BI 131-132. If you care about your mental health, stay out of his class. He might know biology, but has 0 teaching skills. Test are ridiculously heavy. Also, if he says some exam is going to be on certain topics, he WILL include different topics and barely include the ones he said he was going to include. He is unclear on assignments requirements
Prof Campbell lectures thoroughly and makes effort for students to understand the intricacies of lab models. Exams are as he says; there may be multiple part questions on small things but only because he thinks they are easy points. Overall Prof Campbell's lab and exams may be tough but always fair. The man is so fine I could barely focus tho lord
One of my favvvv professors. People thought he was mean, but he really isnt. He is super straightfoward and soooo kind. Wish I could give a 0. He literally tells you to study all the labs but the test consist of NOTHING from it. He does NOT give extra credit or review sheets. Even when my friend was asking him about the test he told her “what are you about to cry?” Please do not take his class I had to withdrawal which is now slowing down my graduation process.
I needed this class for the nursing program, and he made my experience of lab horrible. He constantly read off slides and never explained things well. Most of your grade came from tests, and this made things hard. Overall, he's not a teacher that would actually walk you through the work and make sure you understand the material. Don't take!
