This is my favorite class. He is very understanding and helps you out alot even if you think your questions are dumb...Over all diffinitely take this class.

Hot Older Italian Man- looedk forward to attending class every day. He'sdown to earth and has a great personality. Great class, easy work, great expierences. I learned more in 1 week of his classes than an entire year with other professors.

highly overrated!! tests are easy cuz they're open book but don't believe wut every1 says abt him cuz he doesnt give every1 an A. I went to class everyday took all the tests n ended up with a B.(I did better in Helldorfer's class!!)He's a nice professor but very moody.

i took him for 3 classes and he was great. All students majoring criminal justice should take him otherwise u don't know what you are missing. You'll get an A if u always go to class, no matter how poor your grades are. The lowest grade he gives is a B. Take him........he is so cool.

This teacher is great!! You will learn a lot in his class, he cares a lot about his students, unlike most St John's University professors. He is more interested in you understanding the material and using it in real life, more than making your life difficult with unnecessary amounts of work. Lectures are very captivating!

Great teacher. Easy going. He has a lot of knowledge, along with a lot of stories which are really funny. He's a good teacher to have first thing in the morning. All the test questions are from the notes, so just take notes during class and it'll be easy. I would definitely recommend him.

He is a very easy going professor. We didn't use a book. His exams are straight from the lecture notes. He even gives everyone the questions in advance. Plus its open book. It can't get any easier. Attendance is not mandatory but you should defn attend class. You will learn a lot and his stories were always interesting.

Awesome professor, very professional. Will go through important/relevant articles in Penal Law. Class is fun and often ends 10-15 minutes early. Professor will give you exam questions ahead of time for research. Exams are open notes (notebooks, lap tops, papers, etc...). Doesn't mind a lot, but does mind disrespect and rude behavior. He says everyone is guaranteed an A, but I'm still taking it so that's yet to be seen. Tests are open notes, but you have to answer context questions. He gives the questions before the test. Nice guy, loves his grandkids. I am taking him next semester again, so I would recommend.
