So cool, into hip hop, all the girls in the class wanted to hook up with him and probably some of the guys :). Can be a hard ass when he gets pissed but don't let the tatoos fool you he's mad smart and he's written a novel and a bunch of movies.

I WORKED !) TIMES HARDER THEN I DID IN 111. I GOT AN A in that class but only a b+ in Professor Conti's. But I don't regret it. Unlike 111 & most of the classes in my life i actually learned something. He's a cool guy but be prepared to read a lot.

You work your butt off but in the end its worth it. Never boring, always funny. PC can come off like he's the meanest guy in the world but once you get to know him (and if you do your work) he's a joy. Hope to get him for 151. AND YES HE"S HOT!!!

I never thought I'd actually miss a professor but I do. Loved his class. Would take anything he teaches but I think he only teaches 111 and 151. He should teach CORE because he actually knows about history.

If you're smart and you like to read Professor Conti might just be about the best on the planet. But if you try to slip by and your somebody who misses classes saty far away from him. He takes writing very seriously -- and he expects us to, too.

He is so hott...His work is hard, but if you stay on top of things you should be just fine. Girls, you will fall in love with him, Guys you'll think of him as one of your boys.

I had Prof Conti for 111 and he's not teaching 151 which sucks. P. Conti is hard but you learn soo much from him. He's mad hot and mad cool but he's also a good man. It was like having a really smart big brother. (Yes I had a crush on too.)

OK I'm in love with PC. And I'm not alone. The guys idolize him and the girls want to hook up with him. We went on a field trip yesterday and none of us could keep our eyes off of him. You work hard but its definately worth it just to be near him.

This class is hard because he gives ALOT of work! I love reading and writing and do very well in my english classes and even I spend ALL my time on his hw. Despite the work, he is a great professor and you can really learn alot from him.

I'll admit I didn't like him too much at first but it turned out this was one of the best english classes I've ever taken. To those who are taking his class appreciate it while you can because lemme tell you I have the worst professors now and none of them could compare to him. He's one of a kind.

He's hard but fun. I took his immersion class for writing this summer and i passed the test!! i took the class twice before and the teachers were terrible. he's really smart and cares about the students. don't take him if your lazy.

Mr. Conti the best professor that I had. Hes very funny and he cares about his students, he brought us on a field trip to see the yankees and ground zero. he is very hard and does expect alot from students. judging from a few of these comments i guess some of you couldnt handle it. i got an A- and ona b in 111 and that teacher was alot easier.

I didn't realize how good Conti was until I got got in 151. The class is so boring. Maybe we did more work in Conti's class and maybe he expected alot but the guy gave alot too. Im way ahead of the other kids. I feel like im back in high school. atleast with Conti it felt like college. and my new teacher, I dont even know his name, he's old.

Yes Prof. Conti is strict but you get used to the level he wants you to work on. Just do what he asks exactly the way he assigns it and you'll do fine. His class is definitely not easy!

A lot of essays, but usually short (250-400 words) and uses books, videos, music (Biggie? Tupac?) for material. Class is a joke, just write the essays, show up, and snap back at him if he pisses you off, and get an A. If you come off as knowing your stuff he'll like you. Sleep/don't show up, FAIL. PS: You will learn how to write well in this class.

I had Professor Conti for Eng 111 and Eng 151. He is great, so give him a chance. He is one of th most intelligent professor and teaches well while looking good! I do not regret taking him because I learned more from him than any other professor so far. Hes smart, funny, sometimes cocky, a great teacher, but most of all HOT!

I learned more in his class this summer in a month than I did in my 3 years at CSI in all my classes combined. Yes he's tough and strict but he's a brilliant man who can talk about everything from hip hop to politics to feminism. Dumb and lazy students should avoid him at all costs. but if ur interested in learning valuable stuff, he's the man.

Tough teacher, tough attitude but hes real. He may seem intimidating and in the first week more then 1/2 the class will drop, but if u try hard and do your work, ur bound to pass. Don't give up, keep writing and READ the books and ur good. A lot of class discussion, tables turn into a circle. This class will surly break u out of ur shell.

He is sarcastic,witty,intelligent and fun. He will challenge you and your views. Teaches you not only about good writing,but about life as well. He gives a lot of work and if you're looking for an easy grade then drop the class. Many feared him and misunderstood him and his ways. Great professor. Will teach you a great deal.

Took him a year ago. Must say, my papers have showed huge improvement due to his class. I absolutely recommend him! Even if your quiz grades are low, he sees the effort and repays you for it!

Took him in the Fall of 08. Received an A, but I had to work for it no doubt. He is harsh and gives tons of assignments, but that should push the students to work harder as a challenge. Plus he is extremely knowledgeable! From English to life in general outside the classroom. You can learn a lot from him. If you're a lazy student, then no chance!

LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM! Until this day, I am thankful for having him as my professor. People talk a lot of crap because they can't handle the criticism. Personally, it prepared me for the real world. At first I thought he was obnoxious & was going to drop the class but decided to stick it out. If you're not a complete moron you will really enjoy his class. Gives a great deal of work. Teaches the material really good. If you want to learn how to make your college papers good take him! He is funny at times, and helps people get adjusted to college by making friends! Just keep in mind there are loads you have to do for his class, including reading books, articles, shows, and assignments on the side.

Peter is a awesome teacher with awesome personality. I just took his class in fall, at first I thought about drop his class, but i realized i was actually learning things from him. I took him for journalism. he's smart, knows something about everything. not your typical boring prof. lots of the girls flirt with him which is a little annoying but not his fault.

As a fellow teacher, I highly recommend PC. He taught a class of 25 veteran teachers, not an easy task. Those of you who find him too hard maybe you should ask yourself the following question: Am I really college material?

Great Professor. Does fantastic at teaching how to write an interesting essay. Do all of the work and you will do fine. Always try to out do your last essay and keep an open mind. Disliked him in the beginning, but he grows on you. funny, interesting and different.

I just graduated and I went through my records for the last 5 years of my life at csi. PC is the best professor that I had there. Take him if you want to learn how to write. And take the advice on his syllabus: come string or don't come at all!!

If you want an easy A you'll need to look somewhere else. However, if you want to better your writing while exploring a variety of topics on current event issues, you will enjoy P. Conti's class immensely.

Class is very interesting and the prof is very helpful. I definitly learned how to be a better writer and college student in this class. Don't take this class if you are looking for an easy "A" but if you are willing to put the time and effort then definitly take this prof.

I finally passed the reading test becuz of him. i went from a 62 to a 83! hes my dude!

If you think that this class is an easy A,dont even think about!!he will make you feel dumb if you act and talk stupid.dont ever be late.he sometimes uses rap songs to make us understand writing. i hate when he talks because its the most irritating sound. but overall u will learn something. it does get easier towards the end. It's clear that Conti won't tolerate slackers and that his class isn't for sensitive students. Not an easy course but fair, you have to earn your grade. If you actually try, you WILL become a better writer, no doubt. The class was fun and interesting, one of the most memorable courses I've had at CSI. Seriously, disregard the previous rater.

Conti comes off as a hard ass but he is a great professor. He demands good writers; if you have no clue how to use the MLA format just stay away from him. He gives many opportunities for extra credit work. Oh and if you don't like group work than don't take the class he likes watching his students interact and participate. He's pretty good.

Conti was such an amazing professor because he attacks the real problems of the world and allows us to break those barriers in class. In the 2 hours I had him a weak because I took a hybrid, I learned about current events, how to write, and general knowledge I need to succeed in life. Conti was a life-changing professor.

Great teacher. Not for the faint of heart, he can be abrasively constructive in his criticism. We wrote briefly every class. As long as you put forth effort he was willing to help. Pretty funny guy and his assignments are straight forward no bull. I'm sure he hates me for my Nuclear Fission paper but TOO BAD. I hope he sees I said that too.

Professor Conti is equally impressive as an educator as he is a cool dude. He doesn't BS- BS probably isn't even in his vocabulary. Extremely down to earth but a tough grader. As long as you do literally everything he expects you too you will get at least an A-. He doesn't hand out A's easily but he is a fair grader.

I took his online class, which was not easy. There was a lot of reading and you HAVE to be on top of everything. It is easy to forget to do assignments when you are taking class online. However, Prof. Conti made the work interesting. He is not a piece of cake, but he gives you the grade you deserve!

He's cool and easy, but beware he likes to bash students. He will say your business in front of everyone. Assignments are pretty easy. Make sure you do his online work and your fine. Welp, I had this guy for tutor and surprisingly the words "Never judge a book by its cover" comes to mind. Although the tattoos and and mean face may deter you from talking to him, he is actually one of the rare individuals who will talk to students as equals and also JOKES around. I took him for a hybrid class and at first I honestly thought that I was going to regret it because he seemed tough. After the first few assignments and in class lectures, I was really liking the class and him as a professor. He is a super cool guy. He loves to focus on music and artists that he likes. The topic papers are different and interesting

Great professor! Be prepared to do the work but the work is easy if you apply yourself. Deadlines matter but he gives enough time to complete it. Assignments are based on current events so it easily keeps interest!

I took Peter Conti for both ENG111 and 151. This is a hybrid class, you only meet in class about 6 times for the whole semester. He is a tough grader and expects a lot from his students. He takes no excuses and if you don't do your work don't expect to pass. but he is a great professor overall I really did learn a lot from him.

The good: the weekly readings. Topics varied among articles, chapters out of books (good stories), and interpreting rap cyphers. Keeping the topics engaging is important because like I said, they're weekly. 3 papers, sometimes he'd say he told us something that I didn't recall him saying. "I told you guys a million times do this and that" When? Lol

very interactive class and funny chill environment, a lot of work on papers and readings online, only complaint he is a very difficult at giving instructions.

Hes not for everyone but if you can handle sarcasm and dry humor he's the teacher for you. The only english class that I truly enjoyed. Be on time, hand in your work and if you show you care its a great class. A lot of comments say that they wouldnt take him again, but if I had the opportunity to take him again I would.

He doesnt baby you at all! If youre not trying to actually learn how to write, let alone make it in the real world he isnt the teacher for you. Its a lot for people with no discipline Ill admit it but you get your moneys worth. A true value to the college and hes so supportive , once youve given your best he still meets you half way.

Honestly a solid professor. I had him online during the pandemic and he lightened up on the work SO MUCH. Only 3 papers and about 4 assignments which were just answering a question on a discussion. Will say he is hardcore on grading, did not agree on one paper and emailed him about it so we will see what he says.

If I could take this class again I would He's straightforward and extremely tough if you can't handle that then his class isn't for you he doesn't take sympathy on laziness he promotes hard work.He gives easy extra credit opportunities. if you're ready to learn how to write and transition your work out of high school this is definitely the class.

Professor Conti was extremely helpful and really helped me improve my writing. He was dedicated because he would think of lectures that would interest us, and that we could relate to. I wish I could take him again!

Despite the topics we covered in the course, the course itself was good. The online format was great, where you have to contribute to weekly discussion posts for your grade.

Professor conti was amazing and i wish i could take him again. At first he really upset me because he can get sassy but as long as you do the work and pay attention you will be fine. he gave no quizzes just 4 hr lecture, a couple papers and in the meet we would write a paragraphs on topics we were learning. he also jokes around a lot

Took English 151 as an asynchronous class consisting of three essays with the addition of extra credit. Very strict on grading; however, if you didn't have any issues with English 111, then this class shouldn't be too difficult. Expect weekly work; each essay requires a significant amount of work, so please be aware when taking this course.

One assignment a week, discussion posts where you need to reply to people and reply to anyone that replied to you. Allowed to miss 2 (don't quote me on that) without any penalties. His words tend to seem a little harsher than he means at time but if you keep up with the work it can be easy and breezy.

Tough grader, but helpful in improving writing. Attendance is mandatory, so be prepared to put in the work. Unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for preparing for the assignments.

this class was ez. it was online no zoom he posted work and gave flexible amount of time to complete it but he was a little weird, but other then that ez A.

Great Professor, gave simple and clear work which was easy. And also gave a great amount of time to do it.
