Really great teacher! He wasn't too hard, but definitely provided a challenge. He was always willing to help correct essays, and encouraged multiple drafts. We didn't use the book all that much, but it is actually very useful, and I decided to keep it instead of sell it after. I had fun with 4 essays we were required to do for the semester.

Professor took a bring subject and made it funny and interesting. He really cares about who is attending and how you are doing.

Peter is a great teacher. He was extemely helpful throughout the whole semester and you could tell that he wanted his students to succeed. He encouraged everyone to submit mutiple drafts just so he could help. Overall, he was fair in grading and the a good grade was very achievable with hard work.

Peter was by far one of the better teachers that i have had. I wish he taught comp.2 because i would have taken that with him. He made going to class enjoyable. Like the other comments he really wants to help his students pass.

I found that this professor was very helpful in teaching the basics to all types of essay writing. It was my personal favorite class out of the 4 that I was taking. I looked forward to going to every class.

He's on of the best writing teachers I've ever had. I have taken comp two times prior and dropped it halfway through each time. He's the only teacher that appreciated my odd writing style. He has a great teaching style, he and the class annotate your drafts, for a better understanding of what to do for your final. I will take a class with him again

Peter is an absolutely great professor. I took two summer classes and he blew my other professor out of the water. His material is super interesting and he really knows his stuff.His fascination with Jack Kerouac is interesting too.. I would take another class from him. He really is a great teacher.

Really passionate about teaching. He is a a teacher at heart and really loves what he is doing. He comes to class to help every student learn. But, you get what you give to the class. If you do the work, and the reading (its ALOT) but if you think you could swing it and get and easy A youre wrong. I would recommend him.

I came into the class hating Composition, and English class in general, but left with more than I expected. If you read the material and come prepared to discuss, you'll get an A. It's not a class for the timid. He tries to get students to think deeply about the topics, and as long as people are open to learning it works.

I was dreading this class because I can't stand english but Peter made it painless and actually engaging. I looked forward to class and wish that I could take another class with him. He is very animated and excited about the topic which only serves to draw you in more. He's very inspiring! You won't regret taking a class wit him! Awesome!

Instructor Eliopoulos (He didn't like to be called Professor) was one of the best professors I ever had. He was kind, amusing and instructive. His understanding of writing in general was so impressive to me, I think I learned more from him in a few classes than any teacher over years of schooling. He re-birthed my love of writing.

Instructor Eliopoulos has made my time at North Shore worthwhile. His cultrual and literary insight is so massive that I feel every conversation with him to be immensely helpful. I would take a course with him six hours away and never miss a class.

Peter was not only a great professor all around, but he taught me a few great lessons that I will never forget. Writing is not all about the grade, it's the ability to express your thoughts freely and beable to share your ideas with other people without fear of contradiction. Peter is a 10/10 intructor!

Prof. Eliopoulos is easily the most inspiring, relatable, and efficient teacher I've had at NSCC. I hated English from k-12, somehow he had me excited for class every tues/ thurs. If another Composition class fit into my degree, I'd take another Prof. Eliopoulos class without a doubt

I came into the course with no real expectations; just another class to knock off the list. Surprisingly, the class grabbed my attention, and the content was fluid throughout the semester. I would most definitely take another class with this professor. It wasn't a necessarily difficult class, as it was taught well, but typing his name isn't fun.

I would take a class with this prof again. No presentations!!!! Total of 3 essays which arent hard. He is also understanding and emails back fast. Only homeworks you get are to read and the essays. PARTICIPATION IS KEY TO THIS CLASS.

This class is pretty straight forward. He's very clear on what needs to be done to get a good grade in the class. In my opinion, I am not a very big fan of literature but if you are then you will like this class a lot. The easiness is average. If you do the work and stay with the syllabus you will earn a good grade.

A good and clear class, easy assignments.

I do NOT like english classes, and Peter made this more than tolerable. A class that usually gives me so much anxiety was straightforward to take. He is super helpful, outgoing, and makes classes fun (but you have to attend!) Go to all the classes and you'll get a good grade. He is very fair and enthusiastic about teaching.

Peters class was interesting. I really did enjoy his class and way of teaching. We did a lot of essays but he is constantly letting us email him and he will edit our essays which was a HUGE help. My only complaint was that the book was mandatory and although we did use it, not as often as I thought we would of. overall a great professor

Took Compo I. He is really helpfull, but expect a lot of work. You basically will have to write a 5 pages essay and a two pages journal every week.

I certainly learned many things from this class, which is what you want out of a college course that you're paying for right? I think so. The grading in my eyes was a little tough for a community college course but it made you work harder, so in the end, it's a good thing I guess. Peter was a helpful teacher and gives great feedback.

The professor was so inspired by the material that he makes you want to major in it. Attendance is a must but his lectures help a lot with the essays. Speak up and you will have fun. Great teacher !!

Peter Eliopoulos is one of the best professors I met during my school years at NSCC. He has great sense of humor; also a quick thinking professor. This was my second semester taking a class with Mr. E and I liked him a lot in the first class but this short story class was awesome. I really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Professor Petr was very interactive with the class, helped us understand everything and made us learned what we needed. He was very knowledgeable and experience in everything that he taught us. I recommend him and would love to take another class with him in the future.

Absolutely amazing professor. He is hilarious and so good and fair to every student. Truly cares about how you are doing and wants to see you succeed. Absolutely loved him!! So inspirational and an absolute genius. I would recommend him to anyone!!!

My favorite class of the semester. He really cares about his students. Offers great feedback and is encouraging. Show up and pass in your drafts and it's impossible to do bad. Answers emails within 24 hours. Grades and hands back work in a timely manner. Doesn't use blackboard. textbook is REQUIRED. Would highly recommend this professor. no tests.

Yes, attendance is really important, but he understands that we all have lives and to be honest, when I had to miss class, I really couldn't be there, but I wish I could have been. Mr. Eliopoulos is hilarious and down to earth. There wasnt a ton of homework. Maybe 4 or 5 graded assignments the whole semester. He genuinely enjoys teaching the material. However, he unfathomably does not and will not watch Game of Thrones. Its absolutely banana land. Anyway, good teacher and cool guy.
