You get all of the powerpoint notes in a packet at the beginning of the semester and during lecture, he just reads them. He does not respond to emails and the online homework is a joke. The system never works. The lab was easy but the TAs grade really hard.

All of the previous bad ratings are due to bad students not going to class, or going to class and reading the newspaper. If you are really interested in chemistry, he is a good teacher. But READ THE BOOK and do all the homework; the optional discussion sessions are extremely helpful as well.

Good teacher. He basically gives you the tests in his "practice tests" section of the book. I went to this lecture 3 times and got a B. Anyone who can't pass this class and blames him is just stupid and failed the class because they're an idiot. Just work the practice problems 2 days before the tests and you will do fine.

I think he is definitely a nice person, but going to class is kind of worthless as he gives you all the slides beforehand and simply reads them word for word in class.
