Be prepared to get a D in the class no matter what you do!

Wanna fail?...then take this class. He is a machine with no emotion, and doesn't care about his students. His grading system is flawed, and be prepared to argue with this guy every class day. Excellent class before gym.

He teach one thing and write something completly different in the test, and then claim he teach it. He fail 99% of his students in the tests he give.

Dont listen to these other math majors! If you need to take these annoying math classes to graduate and you can't really understand math to begin with- dont take his class! You will fail! Summer class was just as hard as during the semester

DO NOT TAKE HIM. He he is an aweful teacher. He gives worksheets to work on but it never ends up being the same on the test. He makes fun of students and goes very fast through the problems. Just Do Not take HIM!

This teacher is the TRASH! Please don't take him. He goes very fast, puts questions on the test that he never even went over and makes fun of you if you ask a question. It is impossible to get higher than a D in this class. He will ruin your GPA

If you can avoid it, stay away from this guy. I am good at statistics and usually get A's, and I got a C in his class. He puts things on the test he didn't go over, he makes fun of students, and he's mean to people for no reason. He also criticizes your english even though he barely speaksenglish

Hard to keep up with notes, and the test are impossible. Its very diff. to pass his class.

I took mat 100 in high school and got an A. my placement exam once again placed me at this level and took this guy. hes impossible. if you want to fail, take him. also if your lookign for no extra help and someone to make fun of you he'd be a great professor! HONESTLY, no matter how determined you are, seriously plan on failing. hes crazy.

Ex: Suppose you were to roll two dice, what are your chances of rolling a total of 2? The answer to most is 1/36, right? Wrong answer to this guy. The correct answer is that you cannot determine this since it was never specified that they were fair dice.

Ridiculous.. class average = 41... dont take.. unless it is your only class and you plan on spending 50 hours a week studying and meeting with the professor.. for him just to comfuse you even more

well other than him being a complete joke... he hardly gives notes - well the ones he give are unclear .. he's a math wiz but sucks at teaching it he doesn't know HOW to TEACH.. he can't talk.. its cute .. he says DEWIDE for Divide.. and he says ECHH for 'h' lol .. umm i would switch out if u have him but the class is quite humorous.. you'll laugh

The first yielded a grade lower then a 68 with the class avg being like 42. The second test class average was a 35, and the 3rd test average about a 50 if I can remember. You will do the work of 3-5 classes and still struggle to get a C-. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! CSC majors can substitute Calc 3 for this class, talk to Winnie Yu.

Ha ha! Well, if you get a question wrong, he will actually draw a skull and crossbones on your test. That was the best part of this class. Clearly mark all money references in american dollars ($). If you don't he will insert the Japanese Yen symbol. Mark the whole question wrong, and draw a pirate flag. Sweet...

Don't take his class. I know some one in the math dept. who said that they've been trying to get rid of him, but they can't because of his contract...sucks for all of us!!! He takes points off exams for dumb things regardless if you have the right answer!!!

hate him. he loves failing students. i was supposed to get a c- in his course but just for the heck of it gave me a d+ and refused to give me my proper grade. thanks to him my gpa suffered!!

This is the WORST professor I have ever had. He goes really fast and is unclear. The worst part is his grading of tests. Partial credit does not exist to him, and he won't give you formulas or let you bring any notes. **If you connect your bars in a bar graph you will get NO credit, be careful** Aviod him at all costs.

yes this is a low math class. i think since its so low, he feels that he can put us down. he sucks. talks too fast, can't understand him (LEARN ENGLISH) and thats the bottom line.

I have never had a problem with a professor until i took this class. I am a very hard worker, 3.6 GPA yet no matter how much work you do, you fail. Our first test, two people passed, two, out of an entire class. I ended up withdrawing because I couldnt afford yo have a failing grade. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO RETAKE THIS COUR

Impossible. Got a 17 out of 100 on the first test, then quickly withdrew.

He is the worse teacher at SCSU he does not know how to teach and can not speak english good i work my butt of in that class and i went to get help outside of class and the tutors didn't understand his way of teaching. He never used the book all he gave us was handouts. He had no interest in helping students however he loves to make you feel dumb!!

I'm a nursing major with all A's this fall. I took Peter last semester, and it was IMPOSSIBLE. His teaching is OK, but he goes too fast, + doesn't slow down when asked. His homework doesn't seem too difficult, but the tests are IMPOSSIBLE and dont reflect the claswork. Most of the class dropped out

he is absolutely the worst professor at scsu. impossible to get higher than d unless he "feels" like giving you a higher one. administrators understand that he just gives out grades at the end and say he's never failed anyone which is a lie. if you want to fail a class take his, i got my first f in my entire life cuz of this class.. grade appeal

He was the worst professor i have ever had! I had the right answers but would somtimes write the problem out a little wrong and he would mark the whole thing wrong I read rate my professor but I didnt listen i was sooo stupid for that. REDICULOUS doesnt even start to describe that class. I had to walk out because he refused to help. I literally asked him to explain something step by step and his reply was "I explained it yesterday". Have fun!

how can anyone even say his grading is fair? i did a stem/leaft diagram, and didnt put the horizontal lines, even though they were on my loose leaf, and he gave me a 0/5, then on a worksheet, we had to make up categories for 10 glass bottles and i got them all wrong because when i said height, i didnt specify in inch..etc this guy is utterly redic.

The worst professor I have ever had. He only cares about trying to present as much material as he can, as fast as he can, and he doesn't care if you learn it. Tries to impress the class with his intelligence. Is out to fail everyone. I dropped out after the mid-term, there was 25 in the class when it started, there were 7 left when I dropped out>

An awful teacher. If your graph isn't proportional to his likings the whole things wrong. Needed more time on 1st exam refused to give it to me or anyone else fo that matter. Belittles people and talks about VD an awful lot. I was the 5th person to drop from my class with 3 weeks remaining to drop the course.

Worse teacher, He is funny but he cant teach! I am a Math major and I failed his class, along with the rest of the class. His tests are absolutely impossible, he only goes over easy problems in class and then puts problems on the test uve never seen before. No one scored above a 35/100!whatever u do DO NOT TAKE HIM, its a waste of money and time!!

He is a terrible teacher and i would advise you to not take him unless you want to pass and have a good gpa. i thought that i would try it out even though his ratings were terrible and this is my hardest class and it's supposed to be elementary statistics. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASSSS save yourself

This professor was unreal. I did everything perfect and got a 63 on the first exam, which was the highest in my class. I became so frustrated at his idiotic BS I asked my sister, who is a licensed statistician to do a homework assignment (which does not count towards your grade), and he scored it a 2 out of 10!!!! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

He is a nice person but a horrible teacher. He is chinese and he writes left to right on the board, insane. Hard to follow his notes, also he has a very thick chinese accent, which makes it very hard to understand what he is saying, He hardly ever referred to text book,overall dont take him, 9 out 10 stundents dropped him after midterms.

He's extremely nit-picky and a hard grader. The math class that I was in was supposed to be math for liberal arts, with the reputation of being easy from every other professor who teaches it, but he covered completely different material and told us not to get the textbook. Even other professors have strongly recommended not taking him.

THE WORST teacher I have had yet. Not helpful at all, and very hard to understand. Notes are extremely hard to follow (writes right to left on board). This guy just basically hates all his students. He teaches way too fast and makes you feel like an idiot when you ask a question. Difficult to understand because of his accent and his handwriting sucks too. The tests were impossible and Im not even that bad at math. Overall just a really crappy teacher and I wouldn't recommend him to ANYONE.

I have a hard time with Math, but I try to do what I can and ask questions. This guy is AWFUL. He once embarrassed me in front of the class by trying to make fun of the fact that I had a stupid question. Yeah, I knew it was stupid but I had to ask it because I didn't understand. He also has a very strong accent. Stare away!

Seriously, do not take this class. I've never struggled so much in my life with a professor than I did with him. He made me feel dumb, and stupid if I had a question or wasn't understanding something. I withdrew from the class. Also his accent is very hard to understand, which for me, in a math class, was so difficult.

I've always gotten A's in math through college. He's a nice guy, and he makes jokes during the class. He gives homework, which he checks over. I would get them right, then I would get everything wrong on the test. He doesn't directly answers questions leaving everyone confused. Everyone failed the 3rd test, so he gave us all 100.

This is by far the worst professor. He made inappropriate jokes at the students expense. He would never answer a question directly, instead he used riddles to leave the students all confused. The class as a whole would fail exams, and he would take no recognition for his failure. He seems to enjoy toying with people's grades; DOES NOT CARE.

He is very mean to students and will call them out in class. Horrible grading system in which there is ZERO partial credit. Offensive towards anyone that speaks up and his grading system is unclear. If you are off by 0.0001 the entire problem is wrong (problems are usually 10-60 points out of 100)

This guy is by far the worse professor i have had. Also the hardest. Some find his jokes unfunny but i kinda like them. at the end of every class there is a 1 question quiz which 75% of the class fails. The test are the worst part. A 20 question test is given and the normal grade in the class is... get ready... a 0% to 30%! Bad grader. Bad teacher!
