Dr. J. is very organized for this online Comprehensive Medical Terminology class. He had 22 chapter tests, one journal review to write, 5 online discussions. He had available powerpoints with vocabulary, illustrations and practice tests. He was very clear in his expectations and fair. He was quick to respond to your emails. Great instructor!

Dr. Jaswilko was very organized and conducted very interesting lectures. He makes the course fun by using practical examples. I have taken few courses with him and as always I am very pleased with my educational experience. He does make you work, but you feel that you earned your grade.

Dr. J. is one of the best instructors at Triton. His Pharmacology class is not easy but he makes it fun to learn. He uses concept maps, discussions and critical analyis discussions and 4 tests. His lectures are interesting since he also works in a hospital a few times each month. I would recommend Dr. J. for an instructor!

I have had Dr. Jaswilko for Law and Ethics, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology and Patient Care. All his classes are extremely easy if you follow directions. He's always enthusiastic about the subject bringing positive aura to the classes. He haven't disappointed me in any courses. It's been always a pleasure to be part of his class.

The class was not easy. But Dr. J had a good portion of the class online and some face to face to lectures. Virtual lessons were outstanding. He tests you on critical thinking, which is not easy, but boy you start learning and applying the material super fast. Very good approach to teaching and very nice guy. Oph pharmacology is not easy. Instructor gives you access to virtual lessons, videos, discussions. Each virtual lesson has a test. Pay attention to his module summaries. He covers everything, but you have to study. Large drug cards project. Overall he is very nice, approachable, and always encourages everyone to try.

This was not online but we had to log in online to complete some discussions, get notes, and other stuff. Every lecture was a discussion about ethical issues. He keeps everyone talking and interested. He is nice and offers help. I will take AHL 120 with him next.

The class was no so difficult because the teacher gave very clear instructions on how to study for the class. Online website designed by him was used to submit homework and review lessons, study guides, short video clips. Professor Jaswilki is very practical in his approach.

Very easy if you know how to follow directions. Teach explains the topics well, tests are not your typical tests, you have to apply what you learned.

This was extremely hard. Professor was nice and clear, but the amount of terms I had to memorize was crazy. I understand that it was the class and not the teacher. This was an Online class, but he was on top of the material, gave us study guides for the quizzes and tests, its Medical Term so you need to study, there shouldn't be a reason why you should not pass this class, you study and work on the assignment on your own pace. I would take him again.

I had to take drug calculations class because I was not able to pass nursing drug calculations exam. This class helped me pass the exam with 100%. He is a very good teacher. All examples are done using visual method. He used hands on activities. Amazing!!!!!!

Amazing class, but challenging. He wants you to take risks by exploring many different views. I was pushed to see different perspectives from cultural and religious view points, which was good!

I was scared to take this class, but professor Jaswilko made it fun. He would use many props in the class, such as fake medications, syringes, etc. It all made sense because I was able to actually do it.

I took this class in a 7 weeks format, it was not easy. But if you follow his instructions and actually use the materials that he prepares for you, it not so bad. He was accessible outside the class for face to face meetings and virtual discussion.

Amazing professor. Its obvious that he cares about his profession and teaching. When my grade dropped below C grade, he contacted me to see how he can help. This just motivated me to work harder. And ladies when you meet him face to face he is so charming.

Dr. Jaswilko is a talented teacher. I personally hate math, but he made drug calculations fun. His activities are hands on. So you calculate drug dosage while pretending to administer meds. Simply incredible. He is so respectful, patient, and very handsome.

Lectures were amazing. He used different case studies with each lecture. You get to work in groups and share your ideas and opinions. But be aware that he wants a justification for everything (not just yes or no response). He will push your thinking to a level you would not know its possible. I would recommend him.

His lectures on different body systems are fantastic. After taking BIS 240 and 241, I still had problems with applying cellular concepts or applying physiology to medicine. His lecture style is 100% application. You will discuss different pathologies, treatment options, and A/P. Again, incredible!

I took this class as a hybrid(meet once a week and other half is online). I only went to the first class to see his grading criteria. From the first day he said our overall grade was the unit questions, participation on the discussion board, and the tests. He's very straight forward. He does not give any sort of extra credit though. Recommend him!

I completed two courses with Dr. Jaswilko: AHL 120 Medical Terminology and HMSE 58 Medical Scribe. Both courses were online. He is a good teacher. He kept me motivated, even when I felt like giving up. I was able to complete Medical Scribe certificate thanks to Dr. Jaswilko.

Easy class. The whole course just focuses on how to utilize proportions. I like that it's only a 7 week course. 4 exams, all online. Only use the textbook for the homework pages, PowerPoints are all you need. Homework is really boring and takes a lot of time. Straight forward, direct, and clear. Super easy to follow. Organized. I met with him face to face due to some personal issues. He listened and connected me with support on campus. Dr. Jaswilko was my mom's professor about 15 years ago. Now I had the opportunity to take his class. I enjoyed his class and was inspirated by his work in respiratory therapy. He is well known by the community and his work. Everyone seems to know him at many different hospitals.

One of the hardest classes I have ever taken. This was my second attempt and first with Dr. Jaswilko. He made this difficult class make sense. Everything we did in class was connected to the patient scenarios. I did not feel like taking a math class. His lectures are clear and organized.

I am applying to the Respiratory Therapy program at Triton because it was recommended by my hospital. Many people there know Professor Jaswilko and speak very highly of him. He is kind of like a celebrity in respiratory care. I was also excited to have him as my Medical Terminology instructor, which is a required course for the program.
