Smart is Sexy. This man obviously loves what he does. Lectures are interesting. Good sense of Humour, a great star of his classroom . He could at least have an email even if he hates cell phones, we are not living in the dark ages.

Hes a pretty dedicated instructor... his class is informative but he doesnt give you the right answers!!(none?) The textbook is impossible to understand because it goes on and on. Its hard to discuss any one thing which is what he expects on the test

Peter is a well seasoned instructor. His lectures are very clear and he animates them with a hilarious personality. A prof in a hard disipline, nevertheless, he makes it intereting.

Very clear and interesting lecturer! Uses humour, real examples and talks about economists with such zeal! Very unbiased and neutral in his discourse. Watch the tests, though, they REALLY test your grasp on the subject. In contrast, the quizes are a cinch and he even gives you the list of questions.

Notes are very clear, you don't have to read the text except for the M.C. assignements. Show him your assignments before they are due and he will tell you what to fix. Interesting lectures, helpful guy, best teacher at Douglas.

Absolutley one of the best professors at Douglas! He cares about his students, and goes out of his way to help you out. Lectures are awsome, very interesting and fun! You will both succeed in his class, and enjoy economics if your motivated and have a great work ethic. Take this professor!

Well, midterms are HARD, unless you are a fast writer, there's no way u can finish all short answers, an essay question, and multiple choices in 2 hr class time. Also you have to study extra hard on it. HATES ppl with cell phones and late. Notes are useful through but you have to be prepared.

Tells you exactly what will be on exams, then before you write exam he checks to make sure the questions he handed are done correctly...so he tells you what will be on the test, then he checks it for u...hard marker, nice guy, very clear...

I dont know how Peter is for higher level classes, but he rockes for 1101. He makes such a boring class so much fun, with his jokes and his stories, and his teaching style. I am so glad I took him. He tells you what to study, so there is no suprises on the tests. He is a bit picky though,but what econ teacher isn't!Great down to earth guy! Take him

Peter comes across as being a really tough intimidating prof, but he will go above and beyond to help you understand if you ask. He is an awesome teacher and you can learn so much from him.

Hes a good teacher that teaches his subject well and will tell you what you need to know. Very willing to help out of class. He is a fair marker but his tests are so long and you need to know your stuff well to get it done in 2 hours. Otherwise his 3 hours is enough time.

His notes are helpful, but when comes to midterm and final, the exams are quit hard. Half of my classmate is failed at the midterm.

Great lecturer! His classes are always fun and interesting. However, he isn't always clear about what he wants and his exams are quite hard. You can get a good grade if you study regularly.

He does teach very well, however his class is nearly impossible to succeed in. Massive drop out and failing rate. Somehow he totally doesn't care if most of the class does poorly even when they try. Make the class a little easier!

Took macro and mirco with him in the same semester; fun and interesting guy. Will not fail class if you study notes and text. However, dont recomend taking two of his courses at the same time. Great teacher.

Difficult course, but excellent teacher. Always willing to help. Will get a decent grade if you study and do the work. Would take again for another econ course in a heartbeat.

The course was pretty hard, but if you go to his office hours for help he actually gives you the answers to the tests. Just make sure to go to office hourse or you will almost be destined for failure. He is also really funny got a laugh every 5 mins.

Best teacher I've had in post secondary yet. Knows his stuff, makes class very interesting. Can't say enough good about him. Recommend waiting a semester if you have to in order to get him, you'll probably get a better mark just because he teaches so well (hard course).

Really easy if you pay attention. He does extra sessions before midterms and exams, ive never had a teacher do that in post secondary. Very intelligent and has evidently been defining his delivery of the material to the polished product you will recieve upon taking his course

One of the best professors I have had. Although, the concepts can be hard to grasp at times peter does an excellent job teaching the material and if you attend class honestly pay attention to his lectures and put in some time to studying the material you will do well!

Awesome teacher! by far the best teacher ive had at DC. he is very clear, funny, helpful. i learned so much. taking his class again for econ 1250. I love this guy. if you want to learn and have a good grade, i definatly reccomend him! you will not regret taking his class.

Extremely clear! Goes over the material thoroughly in a way that anyone can understand. Peter makes this extremely difficult course bearable. He literally knows the entire course's material off the top of his head. Definitely recommended!

Peter is one of the best profs I have ever had! His notes clear and concise. I took Macro with him prior to any other econ courses and had to study a ton but really felt like I accomplished something and had learned a lot during the semester. Peter was always willing to answer a question or explain something over. just don't let your cellphone ring

i took peter's class for both micro+macro.. favourite prof by far!!! super helpful and thorough. very clear with what he wants and makes these extremely difficult courses much easier to follow. would definitely recommend his class to anyone who needs to take these courses.. and make sure to take advantage of his office hours!

Micro was so exciting w him I had to take macro, even tho it wasnt a requirment because i switched out of buis. Its a hard class so b prepd to study but i wouldnt take it w anybody else

He is my favourite profs so far. His note is really easy to go through that you don't need textbook. he asks you to find real examples and the most part I like in his class. I surprisingly got B after final even I'd got only C- in mid of course. Go for him! :D

If you have a chance to take Econ with Peter, do it! He's by far the best Econ prof out there. He really cares about his students success, and prepares you for the midterm and final. If you attend his classes he gives subtle hints as to which topics will be on the exam. Study the terms, & you only need to do the review questions after the midterm!

Peter is by far, one of the best ECON profs I have taken in my entire college life. His teaching style is very direst and uses many relatable examples, thus making learning the material in the class a breeze. Others may say he's hard, but I think they just didn't study enough. In the end received an A, if you put effort in you get get an A!

Expects you to know your stuff from pre-reqs. Tough marker. Incredibly tough tests. His classes are going to hurt, but you'll come out knowing more.

He is a great prof! His lectures are very detailed, but he gives you a lot of real life examples and offers you help if you seek it. If you take his classes, don't skip and be prepared to put in the work and the time. It's not an easy course, but he is very clear about what he expects from you.

Peter is one of my favourite professors at Douglas College. Some students have trouble with his lecture style, which involves a fill-in-the-blanks notes package. However, his written exam questions are based directly on the class notes and he hints at what is on the exams, so it's clear what is expected. Good grades are achievable with effort.

Peter is an amazing prof. He will make the effort of helping you understand the material as long as you make the effort of asking/trying. He hints on what will be on the exams, and clearly lays out the exam format so you know what's coming. That being said economics is NOT an easy class. You have to read the book and keep up to succeed.

Peter was a fantastic prof. He made things as dull as Mirco-Economics seem fascinating. While constantly joking around with the class he also taught us so much. He's not joking when he says he has a strict NO cell phone policy but with his charm and charisma, you won't be bored during his lectures anyways.

Peter is amazing. Had him for micro and macro and couldn't have asked for a better prof. He lets you hand in optional homework and give you a grade on it to see how you're doing which REALLY helps prepare you for tests. Pre-read, come to class, PAY ATTENTION, do the assignments, understand the material and boom you'll have an A.

He is a good prof in general, every chapter there is assignment but is not mandatory and not for mark. But u can do it just for the feedback in order to have a better mark on Mid-term and Final. Overall, Peter is a good prof to take compare to others ECON prof in Douglas.

I've had Peter for three econ classes (1101, 1150, 1250). He's very good at explaining the material - that being said, the material is DIFFICULT so ask questions. Peter is incredibly helpful despite his disposition sometimes. He always tells you the exam layout and hints at the biggest questions so you know how to come prepared.

Probably my favorite teacher I've ever had, makes you buy his course notes at the beginning of the term which all gets filled out by him in class. Take Pete if you want the best understanding of Economics, might not get the best grade but will be way better for it in the long run.

Hands down the best econ prof I've ever had- tough but fair and have referenced Peters micro/macro notes in almost every economics/poli sci class since then. Excellent explanations of tough concepts, great examples and very approachable for questions/clarification. I've since moved onto University and wish my profs were more like Peter.

One of the best educators out there! Economics is very difficult for many, most of the class usually fails. But Peter holds your hand throughout the entire course. Lectures are amazing and tells you most of what is to be on the tests. For macro economics he gives you 3 quizzes, all base all open book and the last one is a "take home" quiz.

I really enjoyed Peter's class, it can be intense sometimes as he goes through A LOT of material but he repeats it over and over and I found that I remembered his lectures really well. I found his lecture notes to be really helpful in learning the material and engaging.

I live in Surrey & let me tell you it was definitely worth the commute to DLC; his quizzes are meant to be in class open-book but he changed his mind and let everyone take them home. Pay attention to his notes; his math qs were too easy & the calculations were a joke. For me the essay questions were difficult. See him during office hours!!

Without a doubt I can say that Peter is one of the best Profs I've had. His notes are clear and organized and he hints strongly in class at what is on the tests. He is a hard marker, but if you hand in the optional homework assignments he will return them with excellent feedback that will prepare you well for the exams.

Great professor. Listen to him and do exactly what he tells you to practice and you will easily get over 90%. Econ is naturally a lot of material and memorization but he is a very fair marker and explains all the concepts in a simple manner.

Amazing professor microeconomics is not an easy course which he does a good job of making fun and simple. If you work hard and read the textbook along with assignments you will pass. He strongly hints what he will ask on finals, so if you practice and spend time you can do really well

Peter is very passionate about teaching. While he initially comes off as strict by not allowing phones or laptops to be used or even on one's desk, this is because he wants his students to succeed at what he knows is a difficult course. He incorporates and incentivizes participation heavily, which makes an otherwise boring course entertaining.

You are given a half-completed set of notes and he fills the rest out. He is very thorough and never strays off-topic. Unfortunately he has just retired but if he ever does sessionals, take him.
