He was like a worst nightmare of my entire education at York! You couldn't neither hear nor understand what he was saying. I would never ever take his class again!

OMG what a boring prof...he drones on and on and totally reads from a paper which makes it look like he doesn't know his stuff. I had to leave class every time I was there. If you have him take the internet version cause his notes on it are excellent :)

BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST PROFS @ YORK. He hardly knows what he is talking about, copies notes off of other profs., can hardly explain the topics (let alone how to tie his own shoes), and its impossible to understand what he is saying.

Very lazy professor. He doesn't care about his students or his work. Try to avoid him at all costs. Many times students requested the prof to provide solutions for the homework that had been assigned and handed in. He kept saying he would post the solutions on his website, but never did so.

Yup...the worst prof. ever. He even refuses to recognize u outside class. Cannt understand anything. Take ur laptop/readings to class. Atleast u can catch up on that stuff.

This Prof has been in a Mental institution!!!! No parent would ever pay for their kid's tuition knowing this. These kinds of profs make York a "joke". Stay away!!

This prof is extremely boring and is extremely difficult when it comes to assignments and specially to exams. He is very difficult to understand but lenient when it comes to marks.

Worst professor ever in YorkU, don't know how to teach, and don't know how to keep his word. You would learn from him if you took his class.

I've been at York since January of 2006. In that time, I have NEVER come even close to failing a class, nor have I ever even dropped one. However this class I dropped for a financial loss. Do not take this course unless you have a math background and can understand garbled nonsensical English. If I only knew beforehand I'd have saved my money.

Really bad prof, you can barely understand what he says. His lectures are extremely boring and not helpful in the slightest. This course is really hard if you have no math background and his terrible communication skills make it that much harder.

He does not know how to teach a class. He sounds like he's bored to death whenever he speaks. And his powerpoints and notes are next to useless.

I have never met such a difficult teacher to understand, This course is already hard enough so being able to understand in lecture is important but i can only catch like 1-3 words in his sentences.

I swear, the comments ppl have put up are not lies, this man is possibly the worst ITEC prof in the department, BTW the department as a whole stinks. He mumbles, can't answer questions, very disorganized lectures. I highly suggest you avoid him if you have the chance.

Perhaps, I cannot put the blame on him because I got an 'A'? However, his lectures were damn boring and I really felt like he's the worst professor ever at York. Out of more than 100 students 60 percent got 'E' or 'F'. Mid-term is so easy, Final would be quite difficult if you do not study very hard. That's too much more than 50% Failure.....

Avoid him if possible, if you take his class make sure you study and have prior knowledge because if you are new to itec it is extremely hard!

This course is extremely hard just because this prof has a strong accent. if you're willing to teach a course to yourself take this course with him. I don't even know how he got hired!

EASY COURSE. If you understand binary this course will be a joke for you. I personally taught everything to my self its very easy. You just need to make a effort to learn it. But this teacher probably is the WORST. He cannot teach. NO TEXTBOOK NEEDED. Use youtube. I ended up with a A.

DRY PROF

There will be a TON of studying involved with this course, as he includes a TON of material in the final, and will test you on the most minute details. If you want a good grade in this course, be prepared to work extra hard. Also, the lectures are relatively boring with a ton of slides.

The slides are super long and boring. Prepare to study on your own. The project requires an IBM tool which is only available in classrooms where are always occupied. However he is not a tough grader since I got an A and i originally expected to be B or C. He gives partial marks on final even the answer is totally wrong. Final exam is suicidal.

This professor was unreasonable when it came to assignments and grading. He made us complete 4 group assignments with the same group and a report. He's the most boring lecturer you'll ever meet, no breaks and his classes are very lengthy and the materials are all out-dates. Try avoiding this professor.

Avoid if possible. Very monotone, boring lectures.

One of the worst professors in the ITEC department. Assignments and tests are way too difficult. Boring lectures where he reads off the slides. Doesn't explain difficult topics well. Avoid if you can

This professor is terrible at teaching, there are spelling mistakes in the slides that he hasn't fixed for years probably. 100+ slides per week, doesnt specify what exactly will be on the exam, meaning you have to spend over half a week on power point slides for exams where half the stuff won't be there.

if you think you've seen your fair share of horrible professors, never take peter khaiter. get ready to memorize thousands of slides and have questions cherry picked from a hat on the exam. Hands down the worst prof i've ever had and it's not even close. wouldn't wish this class on my worst enemy istg.

One of the worst lecturers in the department. 100+ slide long lectures, and he can choose any of them to test you on. His "reviews" are not reviews, he lists every topic covered in the lectures and says "They could on the midterm". No compassion, no empathy. He even disparages sections that do poorly on the midterm as if it's funny.

For your own sanity, avoid him like the plague. You won't find a worse ITEC professor. I promise.

The worst professor I've had in this department, take any other professor if you can. The lectures are 3 hours long with no break at all, the exams are basically your entire grade and the questions are picked from random slides of the 1000+ you have to memorize. He will insult students who question their grades and has a massive ego, avoid him!
