He gives ALOT of work...mostly packets. He is a very funny guy and usually lets you leave early sometimes. He doesn't belive in tests, so you don't have to take the midterm and final, but all that work makes up for it..Trust me....He gives alot of work!

He is an interesting teacher. A lot of work but doable. He teaches about things u can actually use in life.

FANTASTIC CLASS! There is a journal assignment in addition to other things. You will have to interview a person over 65. This class actually teaches you things you will need in life! IT'S GREAT! There are interesting videos too.

A great teacher with a great sense of humor. Lot's of work for a 2 credit class but his class is very interesting. He teaches much more than the subject--he teaches life lessons. A credit to BCC. There should be more like him!

As everyone has stated, too much assignments. But the professor is a great guy with a good sense of humor, and tends to go way beyond what is necessary for a basic WEX-101 class. And that is not a bad thing, because he provides a lot of useful info.

He is a good professor, he doesnt give tests or quizzes so u dont got to memorize anything, but the work consists of a daily journal, timeline of your day, etc. As long as u organize ur time to get ur work done you should get an A ! :)

Prof. Martin, very good teacher. He teaches health in a good way. As long as you do all the assignment that he hands out you will pass his class with an easy "A".

professor Peter Martin is the man. He gets his teaching lesson done while at the same time making class really fun, easy &enjoyable. All you have to do is fill out the handouts he gives you and you easily get an A

Books as expensive as hell...just pay attention and do the box of crap..easy A

My Professor Martin is very care about his students. Taking his class u'll become happier and healthier. I truly love his class and his lecture. His class has no stress at all. You don't have to worry about exam. If you do the homework and hand it the end of the semester,U'll get an A. @~~"~~~~~~~~

expensive book, but it is deffenatly an EASY A.. i did not even write in half of the journal he makes you write andi still got an A.. the book is the only complaint i had about the class...

TAKE HIM, easy professor, very very relaxing, if you are stressed, he is the one, his ambience music is the best, as well as the room, the stepped one, , if you sit in the back, you enjoy better the class. fill in all the books, and charts, listen to all he says, that class is the best choice OK !

great teacher, i mean, if you are like all stressed out about everything this professor will help you a lot, also, the books are really expensive but they're worth it. at the beggining i thought that class was a waste of time, but trust me, the old guy is cool as hell, and he teaches in a funny way.

Okay, not to sound rude, but you have to be an idiot to fail this class. He can be really annoying and cranky sometimes, but there is no way you can fail. There are no tests, just a lot of handouts, which are so easy. He's a little wierd - makes you meditate during class, but if you want an easyy A, take him.

Will teach more about life and what you need to do inorder to live a happy and successful life is an easy A but its not just about the grade its about what you get out of the class this class will help in life mo matter what your major is or what you end up doing in the end he explains the things in which we all need to focus on.

He takes an otherwise boring class and makes it fun. No tests, just fill in easy dittos. Very eccentric, but in a good way. Very funny. Very passionate. Politically very liberal-a bit one sided. Teaches some good life lessons, i.e. importance of investing-but it's never boring. Starts class with meditation, walking, and stretching. Take his class.

Prof. Martin is a man full of knowledge and wants to pass some of it onto his students. At least the ones willing to pay attention to his classes. No tests just alot of handouts to be filled out and COLORED. Gets a little cranky at times and can be quite bitter about it. Just pay the man the respect he deserves and you'll do just fine. Easy A.

EXTREMYLYYY EASYYYYYYYYYY A+. for the first 10min of the class u just sit down and meditate with the lights off. and then u stretch for 5min. there are no TEST or Quizes. NO MIDTERMS AND FINALS, just hand outs and serveys. no need to take notes. i've only been to class 4times. he doesnt check attendence, u could tell ur friend to sign in for u. he

the class is very easy, there is a lot of work, but hay there is no test. about attendance freind of yous can sign you in. also he doesnt check the assignments, he just looks at it to make sure you did it. another tip, he is an old guy, and forgets stuff. if you hand in the assignment late, just pretend that you handed to him but he didnt check it.

AWESOME Prof.!!! Teaches you life skills. Taught me how to meditate to de-stress. I am a returning adult student and didn't think I'd get much out of this class but I did. The steps to deal with stress were the biggest thing for me. I also really appreciated the way he showed us how things going on in the world relate to our lives.

He is very easy but if you are a republican, i suggest taking someone else. He doesn't like them. The work was nonsense but more time consuming than anything else. He is crude. Don't forget your name card, and don't wear a hat to class.

He wants everyone to get an A. You are allowed to redo all your work. Just turn your phone off, don't wear a hat, and don't slam the door. You'll watch quite a few movies and have some discussions. Homework is comprised of mostly self-tests and evaluations.

It is very easy to get an A. An Excellent Teacher. Just need to do homework and you will be o'k. No tests, just homework. Highly Recommended!!!! Very easy to get an excellent grade!!!

This man is the best teacher, honestly i learned so much in his class the work is not a lot obviously if you wait for the last minute its going to pile up but its so easy to get an A just do all the work and you will really learn a lot about finances and life in general, if your looking to succeed TAKE HIM!!

Should b teaching ICE w/ wut he focuses on: mental health & success. Don't take if already took ICE or if you're health nut or gym rat. The only thing about nutritional health & physical fitness you'll learn is from the book, & you probably know that stuff already. No tests. Lots of easy HW, but what the HW is often unclear. Ask him after class.

Easy, just get the work done. Talks too much about economics and politics for a health professor. If you're Repulican, conservative, or religious, don't take. Some things/views he teaches or shows videos on may offend you or make you angry with disagreement. Teaches opinions as if they are facts and tells us to apply them to our lives

P. Martin is the man! Class is about analyzing your life and making improvements. No tests, just homework which consists of short essays on videos from class and self help type surveys. Whether you agree with his opinions or not, just do your work and you'll be fine. He's funny, wise, and cares about his students.

Fits into the stereotypical old man category. Has been here for 46 years. he is 76. Will learn nothing about wellness/exercise, but talks about politics/health care/life lessons, ect. Gives u a million assignments, but easy as hell. No tests or anything. Most people just signed in and left. Just do the easy ass assignments, hand them in and leave.

this class is a joke. first day of semester you can tell it's an easy A! this guy doesnt believe in tests whatsoever...no midterm, no final, no tests, nothing! except homework...your grade is based on the homework and assignments..but all u have to do is just DO them and hand them in on time. u meditate at the beginning of each class.

if you cant get an A in this class then it's either your lazy, a bum, or just dumb. it's impossible to fail this class. just do the hw and you'll be fine.

I completely agree with 2 previous comments about the class and the teacher. From the first day it felt like it was one big brainwashing class without any health and fitness connection. All classes seemed to be political disputes, hating of rich people and lack in the Health Insurance field. Easy A, some homework and hours of people's complaining.

I just took professor Martin of the summer and its an easy a. Although you learn nothing about health at all,you learn about things things that will help you out in life. Professor Martin is a kool guy and this is probobly the only class whose notebook im keeping after im done with the class so I can back at the lessons Ive learned. Easy A.

Professor Martins class was by far one of the easiest A's. All you have to do is fill out the handbook and the workbook he gives you by the end of the semester. And there are also some "essays" you have to right on surveys. its nothing to complicating and sometimes the class was boring a with the movies he played. but overall his class was easy

prof. martin is so funny and he's a very good teacher. if you miss an assignment he'll let you hand it in late, but don't make it a habit. doesn't give a lot of work, no tests, make sure you do the whole workbook and little work he gives. very helpful.

He is very likeable & adorable! He is one very wise man--for his age he has experienced a lifetime of things & desires to teach us about humanity and its unfortunate realities. I found it really interesting. Work: NO EXAMS, but.. fill out 2 workbooks, 1 "interview", and write 1 paragraph essays. *He doesn't read them just checks if you wrote somin!

EASY A :) Just fill two workbooks, one interview. and some one paragraph conclusions. We do "mindfulness" for the first 5 mins of class. I def. recommend this professor, he's such a nice guy and he doesn't give any exams or quizzes. You have to be REALLY lazy to fail his class. Just put some effort into it, it's an easy class.

If you want an easy A this is the class to take, however, if you want to actually learn something about health science then you shouldn't take him. The class was molded into what he wanted to teach and strayed completely from any type of "wellness and exercise" Take only if you want an easy A

Mr. Martin was the best online professor I've ever had. He is very involved and truly cares that you succeed. He is incredibly fast with his feedback. I never even cracked my textbook for this course, his online lectures had everything I needed to succeed. I highly recommend this instructor!

If you think he offers nothing and isn't teaching what he is suppose to, you will never succeed in life! This is probably one of the most important classes you could ever take, not for health and wellness, but for the life he is teaching you!

Traditional students shouldn't take this class, I mean book"smart" students, it's really hard to find such a great professor like him, especially at community college, you are treated as friend, don't come if all you want is easy A, observe and think, talk to him that's how you learn
