Best Teacher Ever

First of all, I have to say that I hate math and I never understood it. However, with Prof Mancu math wasn?t so bad. He is best math teacher I?ve ever had :) Class with him was quite easy and he was very helpful.

Professor Mancu is a very nice man and his class is way too easy because he lets his students practice a lot and he makes sure that we are all ready for the test.

He was AWESOME!

I enjoyed his course. He cares about the students and makes Intermediate Algebra/Trigonometry both fun and engaging.

Prof Mancu was very generous with his time and helped me to review before the final exam. Also, he was always willing to review the homework assignments and problems from the text. He did not make Math seem tedious and with a little bit of effort on the student's part, no one should have had a problem in this class.

Don't be swayed by the easiness of the class, this class does require homework that needs to be done. Must pay attention or you will get lost! Overall very understanding professor, he cares about your grades and wants you to improve. He is also hilarious! Would take AGAIN!

This guy is the man

Statistics is a tough class. The topic is not fun what so ever. Every now and then you find a professor who enjoys what hes doing and knows how to translate it to the class. He was very kind and flexible in helping with course material when students didnt understand. Total 5 star professor who knows how to inspire a class to make an effort.

BEST PROFESSOR AT BMCC!! If you want to learn STAT or ALGEBRA and pass it with flying colors he's your guy! I struggle with math and it has Never be so clear and easy in all my life. I just hope he teaches the next level of math I need! Other professors need to take his class to learn how to teach math! TAKE THIS CLASS, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

The professor is cool, the way he teaches is confusing but he Gives you different strategies to work with and it actually works. I mean you should take him regardless because you ned help he will attend to you or give you one on one.

He is an amazing professor he takes the time to explain what he is teaching and has a great humor when he does it as well. His quizzes and exams are based on homework questions so do those and A is as easy as getting into his class. Take him if you want to go into nursing

Professor Mancu actually cares about the students, this was literally the 3rd time i took the class and with him i learned what i didn't with all the other professors! He's patient and caring and has wack jokes that are actually funny because we all know he tries lol Highly recommend you take him!!! Like now!!! lol

Professor Mancu is awesome. He has a very calm teaching style and has soooo much patience. He literally disects everything in class and makes math really simple. Anyone who gets lower than A/B should be dissapointed at themselves. His humor is the best! He is an interesting character and I wish to have him in future classes.

He is a great professor, not boring but sometimes he confuses himself while teaching. As he gives long homework, he does review it the next class but he does not actually check if you did it correctly, he just give you a check mark. He tries to be funny sometimes but he isn't a bad professor. gave my class 2 take-home exams

He is a great professor! Does not ask you to buy a book and would send you a pdf so you can save money. He answers emails quickly and you can tell he cares about his students. He will go over problems with you and if you dont understand he will try again. He also says he is available outside of class. Just show up copy the work and pay attention.

Professor Mancu is a nice teacher. He will review some of the questions in the exam before we take it. It is easy to get credit and increase your GPA. if you dont understand the questions, feel free to ask him during the class if being discussed or after class.

TTTAAAKKKKEEEE HIIIMMMMM. He was worth it, i failed his class,but he was worth it

He is probably the easiest professor out there. We only had one exam and one final. There will be homework which he does not check but it is only for you to understand the concept. The exam is very similar to the study guide that he gives out so there is no way you can fail his class.

One of the greatest professor I had so far at BMCC. He manages to make the work super understandable, if you have any questions hell go over the work with you until you get it. Only two test being, midterm and final. All the course lessons are based on the textbook, great for studying. Its really hard to fail with this Professor.

Professor Petruc is very clear for his grading criteria, he makes maths so easy, and teaches as if you and he are the only ones in class. Grades on homework which usually related to his lectured notes. He gives chances. I realized that the best professors are always found spring semester. Anyways please take his class you will not regret him.

Professor Mancu is a really nice professor. He goes over all of the homework and explains it well. I hate math but this class was fairly light on work and because the professor would always go over any problems, I didn't struggle too much. He definitely wants his students to pass.

Professor was straight to the point he went off based on a pdf in class, the textbook was free and not hard to follow. He was funny and honest. If you want to have a good 206.5 math experience I would highly recommend you his class, you will not regret it.

He understand the life of a student. His class is not the only one we are taking, so he tries his best to not assign a lot of homework and make sure that his students are truly understanding. Never be afraid to ask any questions. I respect him a lot and would take class with him again anytime.

Professor Peter Petruc is a good man with good work ethic. He make's sure you know what your'e learning and would slow down for you when you dont understand something. However, most of the time Professor Peter was late to class or did not show up at all. This did impact some people and even myself. It was annoying but overall a good professor. 4/5
