This is the worst professor EVER! The first test is pass or fail and he doesn't go over the material AT ALL. You have a second chance but it doesn't even make a difference because it's just as ridiculously hard. If you don't pass you have no chance of getting an A. All he does is read powerpoints, doesn't teach you at all. He's very ignorant.

He has such a thick German accent that you can't understand the majority of what he says. He's very anal about attendance. All he does is read the powerpoints and complain about people talking or sleeping. His tests are very hard. He gives practice tests, but doesn't use those questions on the exam, and then complains that majority failed the exams

This must be the worst professor I have ever encountered. He is incredibly ignorant but thinks he is the world because he wrote so many dictionaries. This man is rude and talks a lot of none sense. He does not review for tests, all he does is read power points. Do NOT bother buying a book for his class. He will never use it.

He is not a good teacher, he is really smart, but he just shouldn't be a teacher. The first test you either got a 0 or 100%. I got a 0 and still got a B in the class. Just read the book, do well in lab (which is easy) and don't rely on him for clarity or an understanding. Go to class though! He gives hints on what is on the test.

I need A&P1 & 2 to apply to the program that I want to get into.I had to drop this class after the 2nd exam bc it was impossible. i got a 70 on the first exam, and it was either pass/fail, and passing was 75% or higher,so I failed it. A&P1 was the hardest course I've taken, and it was with this professor. Go to his office hours and ask questions. I took Reuter in the fall, and he was an amazing professor, however this was a VERY difficult class cause all the lab quizzes/exams are written. He has a bit of an accent but is very funny. Be prepared to put in a lot of work, but his grading is very reasonable you just have to put in a lot of study time.

Reuter is VERY tough. By drop date, more than half of my lab class was gone. Weekly lab quizzes that are pretty difficult, 1-2 online quizzes weekly (all the answers are on quizlet), and we only had 2 exams bc of hurricane irma. I never went to lecture (its optional plus he puts them online), only labs (which are mandatory).

I never went to any of Reuter's lectures bc my class was a hybrid, so lectures were optional. However, I did go to his office hours every week and that makes a difference. He is very good at explaining concepts and giving you the big picture. He was very inspiring and encouraging to me. Most people don't like him bc they're not willing to work hard

A&P 1 is a challenging course, so studying is crucial to doing well. There are 1-2 online quizzes, and a lab quiz every week. The tests can be specific, but are generally fair. The lectures are long, and tend to drone on, but are helpful. That being said, Reuter is caring, and will help those who help themselves (e.g. going to office hours!)

He IS a great professor and is insanely intelligent. Going to lecture is the reason I received the grade I did, + SI. He covers the chapter entirely during lecture. I have never had to work so hard for a grade, but you leave this course feeling proud and educated. My tip is to WRITE the chapters out to study, and try to not double up on sciences.

Okay, the class isn't easy because it's an ANATOMY class. I think people leave bad reviews trying to compare it to an easy elective like Philosophy. For reference, I'm an average student, I go out, have a 3.45 GPA and I got a 96% in the class. Not hard. Anyone who leaves a bad review genuinely was just lazy. If you study it's not hard to understand

Professor Reuter is a good professor and has a good personality. He can be a little harsh at some times but as long as you follow the guidelines and study each week, you are guaranteed good grades on the exams. The only thing I didn't like was the $300 book you had to get for his course, which I think is just ridiculous, but it is by him.
