Very interesting to learn about politics from a former politician. He tells great stories and unlike some Polisci teachers, he's completely unbiased about political ideologies. Just make sure you read the book and understand it! Also, try to keep up on current events. He's very helpful if you ask him, but unavailable often.
Excellent teacher! He is very interesting, and doesn't give out a lot of homework. However you do need to put a lot of effort into the homework he does give out because of that. His tests so far have been reasonable, and hes great at working with you and explaining. You do need to read the text book, at least for the tests. I recommend him highly.
NOt a hard class as long you pay attention to the lectures. Theres extra credit and the test are open note. Do your work and this class will be easy.
He's a great teacher and he really wants you to get something out of the class by the end.
Mr. Rex is one of my favorite teachers. He's enthusiastic, helpful and unbiased. His lectures are engaging and he treats all opinions with respect. Plus, he gives great feedback and lets you know what you need to work on. Simply one of the best!
Rex is an amazing teacher! he knows his material and goes over everything that will be on tests very thoroughly! he makes history fun and interesting!
Mr. Rex is an amazing teacher! He is efficient in his teaching and doesn't waste your time! He knows what he is talking about and makes everything engaging and interesting! History has never been more fu. However, do your research and make your papers good because he judges very fairly and most things people write are not up to par but last minute.
Peter Rex is by far the best teacher I have had for any class. He has a way of making his class just click for everyone. He made politics a second nature to me. His class is extremely organized and he is very efficient in everything. He even brings cookies to exams :)
Mr. Rex was my favorite teacher this term! He has had extensive experience working in government, and it shows! He doesn't hide his liberal views very well, but at the same time, he's very inclusive of all views. I had an overall excellent experience in his Political Science class!
This teacher was very inconsistent with his expectations and grading. I will not be taking another class with him.
He's literally the best teacher I've had. He grades papers kind of hard, but once you know what he's looking for it's pretty easy. I took both history and poli sci with him and I learned so much.
Good guy, a little difficult at first but if you ask him for help he will sit down with you. Show him you are interested. Grades papers relatively hard I got a bad 14.5/20 on my first paper but then I got an 18.5 on my second after he helped me. when the final rolls around, remember VOTE REPRESENTATIVES NOT DIRECT DEMOCRACY, you will know why trust
He is probably my favorite teacher ever. He uses alot of real life examples and events from his experience in politics to explain concepts. He gets to know his students and is a funny, friendly guy. He gives opportunity for extra credit. His essay grading is a little difficult but his tests are fairly easy. I really enjoyed this class.
Great professor. Will be taking more classes from him.
Wow, what a great guy with such an open mind for debate. He is nothing short of the best teacher I've had at SPSCC. He know's what he is talking about, and keeps his students engaged. A lot of in class work too. He is a tough grader when it comes to his paper's though, as he likes to say "I go through these with a fine tooth comb."
Very bright, interested teacher. I enjoyed his class.
The best teacher at SPSCC. Funny, interesting, laid-back, open minded to all opinions in debate, very well informed, wants the students to learn and succeed. Makes Int. Relations a fascinating subject. Wish I could take him for every subject!!!!!
Peter Rex is the greatest man to ever walk this planet. I would recommend taking his class because he is the most funniest person ever. hehe Take his class :^)
An amazing teacher! I will definitely be taking another class from him. The in-class discussions are very interesting, but you are not graded on participation. The large papers are TOUGH but the smaller assignments are fairly easy. The tests have a lot of short answer questions on them but make sure they are several sentences long!!
You don't need your book, he makes power points for every chapter and then puts the power points online. Tests are fine, as long as you're familiar with the material. You can get him to negotiate almost everything, including extra credit on tests! BE THERE when you expect other people not to be, because you get extra credit!
This is a VERY hard class. A typical college class. Offers good extra credit. VERY tough paper grader. U MUST have good writing skills or revise your paper a million times. Tests have many short essay questions that take forever to write. He is an amazing teacher though. Makes politics interesting to learn & keeps you up to date with current events
Rex was hands down the best professor I have ever had. His class is easy if you ask for the help you need. If you have a paper due, send him a rough draft and he'll help you improve it. Great teacher, great guy in general.
Seems like students really respect Professor Rex. He's really nice and is a good teacher. I would recommend his class.
One of the best teachers I have had at SPSCC. He gives great feedback and really cares how his students do. Would definitely take this class again!
Loved Peter Rex. He loves what he's teaching and is a funny guy. Make sure you work hard on your papers if you're not naturally a good writer you might want to spend a little more time on them. Also you should research the basics of politics before starting the class because he jumps right in. Really inspired me.
One of the best teachers ever :) His lectures are really enjoyable and include many activities to deliver the message in a practical way. If you show up for all your classes-including Fridays and do your homeworks on time, you will be fine. He also welcomes providing helpful feedbacks on papers if you are done with them before deadlines.
My favorite college professor. He made politics fun, and I would take his class over again in a heartbeat. The best part was the the final was a take home final and all of the tests were open note. I never would have passed if it weren't for that. But you do need to take good notes and show up, or you won't pass. Incredible professor.
Many small easy papers throughout quarter. 2 big papers that are graded harshly as well as 2 tests that are harder. Gives LOTS of extra credit towards end of quarter though.
Rex is hands down the best teacher I've had. He knows the material, makes class interesting, and is open minded to all perspectives and questions during discussions. There were several small assignments, 2 big papers, and two tests - essay questions and open note. I expected a boring class but I ended up really enjoying it. Take this class!
Can't say enough for Peter Rex. Great instructor, very knowledgeable and always enjoyable class. Mr. Rex has run for office before and has held jobs in government, so he is not just talking rhetoric of political science, but rather information based on experience. If political science seems intimidating, don't worry, he could get anyone interested.
Rex's class honestly changed my life and taught me how to form my own opinion. He is incredible unbiased, which is what you want when you're taking political science! He is definitely the best teacher/professor I have ever had.
He's pretty cool, if you get a bad grade on the first essay don't worry. He gives plenty of extra credit to let you make it up. Participating in discussions does make things a million times more fun also becareful what you write on you 'about you' notecard. He will read it outloud. I would totally take it again, he made me not totally hate politics
Rex is a wonderful teacher, he's really into political science. He makes learning about it enjoyable. There's only two tests which are easy if you pay attention in class and take good notes. Gives plenty extra credit opportunities. I never thought I would like political science, but after taking his class, I'm an very interested in it.
He likes to make students think (sometimes a little too hard. I have had brain cramps from this class.) Good at explaining things. You could fall asleep in class as long as you look at the powerpoint later.
Rex is one of the best professors at SPS in my opinion! There is one long paper in the class, but if you avoid procrastination you will do well. Rex makes assignment expectations extremely clear, has promised to give anyone looking for governmental employment a positive reference, and brings cookies on test days!
Great teacher and a great guy. Rex is a family man. He has worked with and around politicians his entire working career. He does not shot favoritism toward one political party. He equally makes fun of conservative and liberal politicians. This is the second of his classes I have taken. He will help you with whatever problem you are have,
Very fun professor! Always shows interest in his students and provides help when asked. If you are a shy person who is not passionate about politics the class may be harder for you. His lectures are average with the occasional joke. He has really fun group activities that make class really exciting. But beware, he grades his papers really strongly!
He is a great professor in my opinion. If you need help with something or just do not understand, ask and he will explain to the best of his ability. There are only two major papers and a midterm. If you are in class and pay attention you will have no problem passing this class.
Rex is amazing. Take every course you can with him and you will learn, guaranteed. He is hilarious, wise, wants you to succeed and will do everything he can to help and encourage you.
I really enjoyed this class, but as the only conservative in the whole class, I felt it hard to voice my opinion without being shamed and looked down upon by my peers. The teacher seems to lean more to the left, which is excepted from SPSCC, I just wish there was at least one more conservative teacher especially in a government class.
I learned so much about our political system; stuff I felt I should have learned so much earlier in life. Enlightening class, great professor. He really engages us, pushes us to think beyond our everyday scope. Would highly recommend.
Best professor I have had so far at SPSCC! He really understood that its the content of assignments that matter rather than how long they are. You can tell he really cares about his students and I would definitely take one of his classes again. There is also a lot of extra credit at the end of the class so you can easily get an A.
One of my favorite teachers here at SPSCC. Never cared or wanted to learn about Politics before but now I'm interested. He knows what he's talking about. He does lots of activities with the class and expects total participation from every single student. I also love how he never shows favoritism towards a particular party which is rare.
Learned a ton.
Really nice guy and introduces ideas really well. Hes crazy efficient as in he does minimal work, and you do it for him. One of those teacher gods that has it all figured out. Just read the book a page or so a night and youll be fine. Take really good notes in the class and youll do fine on tests ... which are open note
Professor Rex is another one of my favorite professors. He enjoys his job and teaching students about the world around then as well as the government. I learned so much in his classes (took two of his pols classes). It was very enjoyable. The papers were difficult however.
I learned a lot from his class! He truly wants his students to succeed. Be aware, he has high expectations for papers.
Has extremely high expectations about his paper and will mark you down for the smallest of things. Average grade on the papers were C's but there were only 2. Really nice guy but teaching is not his calling.
Not a good teacher, is really harsh on what he accepts. He tells you how to improve but even when you do he finds the littlest of things to mark you down on.
Rex made you work for your grade, but he was a fantastic teacher. Very dedicated to his work and presented the information in multiple, interesting ways. I would recommend his American government class.
The best professor at spscc. He acknowledges when people are good at the subject. He gives great feedback with all assignments. He engages the class in activities which makes the subject fun and interesting. He offers students many opportunities for internships and extra credit. He is very kind and funny. Take this professor! you wont regret it
Rex is the best professor Ive ever had. He has so much knowledge and experience about politics that he makes you wanna learn more. Hes very engaging and thought-provoking. Papers are easy if you take the time to do them thoughtfully. Amazing professor!
He's amazing. Honestly, he should be teaching at a full fledged university, not a community college. He is so smart that he can convincingly argue for any political party. He is strict, but very fair and generous. He gives you every chance to succeed. Don't cut corners, speak up in class, take good notes (open note tests), you'll do good!
Rex is an awesome and funny professor, but the tests are SO hard! There's no clear study guide, and they're mainly essay (Although he does give the answers for the final). And there's only 12 assignments total, so if you get a bad grade it's hard to make up. Unless you're a Political science major, if you have a 4.0 don't risk it on this class!
He was enthusiastic and made politics appealing even for someone like me who doesn't like politics. He shared personal experiences and explained things in depth. His lectures were online and he responded quickly to messages. He left commentary and feedback on all assignments. Overall great teacher!
Rex is a highly respected teacher on campus. Taking POLS202 actually got me interested in something I hate. Rex changes teaching styles day by day and gives awesome lectures. His assignments are clear and concise and he is a fair grader. Attendance does not count towards your grade but will influence your end result. Highly suggest.
Hes a very nice guy but does grade a little difficult on essays but it very clear with what he wants from them. You have to read the book to do well and the book is very dense. I found is tedious to read.
Rex is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's very clear and organized and has the perfect balance between activities in class and lectures. I would strongly recommend him for anyone who's interested in politics or related fields. There is a fair amount of work, but always plenty of time to complete it. He also grades things quickly.
He's the best teacher I've ever had. He knows what he is talking about and is insanely smart. He's worked in government for a large portion of his life and knows politics. He makes learning fun and is more than happy to meet with you to discuss your work or answer any questions that you may have. I wish he taught more classes so I could take more.
Rex somehow makes a boring subject interesting and breaks things down so they are easy to understand. He gives clear expectations for essays, which is helpful but also means he can grade them very critically. Reading quizzes cover the book and lectures but you're allowed to use any notes you take. He also expects participation in group discussions.
He goes through lectures quickly, but it is all on Canvas. If you take notes then you will pass
He's a great professor through and through. He is super educated and informed, and it's very clear his loves Political Science. I would 10/10 take the class again.
Took him for Intro to Political Science. We had 2 essays. 1 for the mid-term and one for the final. Gives you plenty of time to complete them. Gives extra credit. You can use your notes for test. Great teacher! You will not be disappointed if you take him.
Great guy, hard class! Most Politics classes are supposedly difficult, but he made the class at least interesting and interactive! We are only graded on a few assignments, so everything counts! He gives you multiple places to find information and he lets you use your notes on the tests and quizzes! Show up ready to speak, b/c he will call on you!
He has 2 reading quizzes on textbook material but if you take the slideshow notes you will be fine. Only complaint is that he does the lecture really quick so that we can do other activities in class so you will need to take lecture notes on your own time. Plenty of EC and a unique class.
Best teacher Ive had at SPS! Its obvious he genuinely cares about his students and is also passionate about the course material. If youre engaged in class and do the readings you will pass. Its clear what he is looking for when it comes to papers and exams.
This is one of my favorite professors. Always clear on grading and feedback. Wants his students to pass, gives plenty of opportunity to make that happen while making sure you learn the material. Liberal bias can show through sometimes but always wants students of every political belief to share ideas and safely discuss controversys with a open mind
Rex is a very well versed teacher tht I enjoyed having multiple classes with. His tests are openbook as long as the notes are in your own writing and it makes the classes less stressful. There are different activities they do in classes that are mentioned later so I recommend showing up. If you have any problems, he's easy to meet with.
I love this class and Rex is an amazing professor. He does a lot of activities in class and he often gives extra credit for them. However, he is a very very tough grader. Especially on papers.
When I came into his class I had no background knowledge on politics except the usual things I see in the news. Professor Rex did a great job explaining how governments work and interact. He also connects the concepts we are learning to current events. Overall he's great, and I ended up loving this class and now I'm planning on majoring in PolSci.
If you hate writing papers, don't take him. Otherwise, he has a detailed knowledge of US politics, and government, and the group activities are fun, and designed to help you understand politics more. Also, take notes, you can use them on the tests. Will be easy for some, but not forgets. Otherwise, an amazing professor who knows what he is doing.
Before taking this class, I knew nothing about Politics & I was scared that I wouldn't do very well in the course. However, Professor Rex taught in ways that allowed me to appreciate Politics & help me find my own political voice. If you show up to class, take good notes, and follow his essay instructions then you will do fine in this course.
Peter Rex is a great guy who is passionate and makes all of his classes super fun! The quizzes and tests are a bit difficult and the he grades hard on the papers. but overall it was doable but you HAVE to have good attendence
Loved the class! Peter Rex is obviously very passionate about the subject matter and it makes the class very interesting. There is lots of participation in class, so if you are not into that then I would not recommend. My only complaint is you are graded on very few things, and he is an immensely tough grader. His classes are very hard. Fun though!
This is my favorite class I have taken so far at SPSCC. In general, politics don't interest me but Rex taught in a manner that made me start to be interested. If you have a personal problem he is very caring. He grades fairly and keeps the class engaged. He is extremely supportive and very knowledgeable.
Knows the material very well. Calls on you in class but always helps you out, or lets you discuss in small groups before hand. Gives lots of extra credit. Tough grader on papers but other assignments he isn't as tough. Reading the book does help on reading quizzes but other than that his lecture slides cover test material.
Professor Rexs lectures are great and engaging. He does call on random people. Hes a tough grader on the papers but not really on the small assignments. I encourage you to read the textbook to get a good understanding on the chapters for the reading quizzes. This was a really fun class and I really enjoyed it and learned a lot!
Great Professor who's very passionate about politics. You will need the textbook, especially to know the case studies in each chapter you read. As long as you show up and take notes on the lecture slides you'll do good. He's a tough grader on the papers, but not on the other assignments. I'd highly recommend this class.
He is an amazing professor. He is super knowledgeable about the government and he makes it super easy if you are coming into the class with little political knowledge. His assignments are not hard, and he does not overload students with work. Even in an online class, his caring personality is clear and he makes it easy to learn.
Peter is amazing professor! Very kind and teaches in a way so easily understood, he makes sure you truly understand and can apply what you learn in the real world and allows room for mistakes because he understands youre a student! Definitely take this course!
Mr. Rex is the most caring teacher I've had during my two years at SPSCC. His grading is quick and fair and he leaves comments about your content. The quizzes and tests focus on the main points, not obscure ones. Quick reply to emails. The workload seemed regular, nothing noteworthy except maybe long readings each week(about 35 pgs in textbook).
Great professor. He was very enthusiastic and gave great feedback. He is a tough grader on exams and papers. Heavy workload, but its manageable.
Professor Rex's class reflects on how deeply he cares about political science. His class is interesting, current, and not too difficult. Expect a 45 min lecture, 1 chapter, and a few interesting videos or articles, and a quiz per week. Tests are not that hard if you take decent notes (open book tests!). Funny guy and has experience in politics.
Peter Rex is my favorite prof so far. Spent 3-4 hours/week in this class. If I wouldve put in another hour per week couldve gotten an A. Midterm and final research paper are hard. Follow his intructions for preparing for them exactly Participate in zooms if he sets them up. Get to know him and build a relationship. He loves his job and you can tell
As long as you have a logical argument in your assignments, you'll have a pretty good grade. He grades harsh on the final paper, so put effort into it. There are several chances for extra credit, and as long as you aren't behind you'll do fine in the class.
Professor Rex is a great teacher. Hes funny and clearly cares about both the students and the subject. The workload is a lecture or two and corresponding readings along with some articles/videos an assignment. The quizzes and tests are not very hard if you do the weekly work. I havent gotten to the final essay but I hear its tough.
As a prof, he is very nice and funny, but I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME WITH THE TESTS. His tests are a pretty big challenge but the other stuff was okay-i. I only took this class because it was a grad requirement and I don't like government very much but he does make it interesting though. Wouldn't be my first choice but he is ok BUT THE EXAMS ARE HARD!
Honestly one of the best professors Ive taken at SPSCC. Always gave great feedback and you know he cares a lot. The workload mostly comes from learning materials like lectures, articles, videos, and textbook reading and not too many assignments each week. The quizzes are easy if you take the time to understand the material.
Peter Rex was the professor I most regret being unable to take in person. He was clearly very passionate about the subject matter and always gave detailed and specific advice. Just stay caught up on notes/lectures and work hard on the final paper (that's worth a lot of points and graded critically) and you'll do fine if you put in the effort.
I absolutely loved Rex. You can tell he really enjoys his job, even online and would always comment extensively on my assignments. Class is mostly writing, but it's reasonable. Look at the learning goals he gives you and write down where they are in the textbook to do well on tests. Really nice guy, wish I could take him again.
Probably the ideal professor, he's super easy to get along with and is very keen on what he teaches. Textbook is necessary if you actually do the reading per week but you'll need it to cite sources on a few assignments/quizzes. Make sure you touch up on chapter content before taking quizzes because you won't be able to find the answers on quizlet
great prof
Best teacher at the college
He is a great guy who really cares about teaching students. His gives out homework once a week but when he does, its pretty simple. His tests are easy but hard to get a 100% on it. Every teacher should be like him 10/10
As long as you're willing to show up to class four days a week, then you will like the class. Very little homework. Lots of lectures, but as long as your notes are decent you can get good grade in the class.
loved this professor, have so much great feedback especially on the final paper. lectures were clear and so were the notes, learned a lot taking this class. would recommend!
It's important to attend a class every day, don't miss the lectures. One assignment every week for homework and need to read one chapter a week. There were reading quizzes, a midterm, a final paper, and a final test. All were very manageable. By far one of the best professors I've ever had. He is extremely passionate about what he teaches.
Professor Rex is easily the best professor I have had at SPSCC. His class is awesome, and you can tell he takes time to plan out his lessons. His assignments are fun, and his lectures are awesome. If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes in person, you should really do so!
Amazing professor, recommend anyone takes his class
Professor Rex is excellent! He's funny and very passionate about what he teaches. If you can I would recommend taking his in-person classes as he does fun group discussions and makes the class much more engaging. There is textbook reading and an assignment every week but it's a very easy class if you follow the instructions.
my fav professor ever. his high school teaching background was really helpful as a rs student, his lectures were amazing. you could tell he really cared about his students and their success, as well as his love for what he teaches. he is very kind and understanding, and is always willing to work with you when you need it.
Peter is a very funny teacher who cares about every single one of his students. You will never be able to fall asleep when you're in his class. He is a very loud guy and will call on his students randomly. He gives great feedback and has fun in-class activities. PETER REX IS THE GOAT!
Prof Rex is THE BEST. He cares about his students and loves getting them engaged. Prof. Rex will randomly call on students but will always respect what you have to say, even if all you say is "no". As he states in the first day of class, prof Rex doesn't care what you think, but why you think it. This is a truly fun class. I recommend it to all.
Peter Rex was hands down the best professor I have had at SPSCC. There are plenty of excellent professors but I have never had anyone quite as good as Professor Rex. He is genuine, caring, nice, funny, and all of the above. Participation matters a lot which I found very helpful as when I was inside the classroom, I learned the most. 10/10.
A lot of reading and material to go over every week. Not too many assignments, just an assignment and a quiz every week with some bigger assignments at the end. You can tell he is very passionate about his field and makes subjects easy for students to understand. Put effort into the assignments and you'll pass, overall not too hard of a class.
Make sure to take the in-person class and engage in the lessons and cooperate with others. He likes to play games and do group activities to help build understanding of the topics. There is a textbook required and you won't pass the reading quizzes if you don't read it and take good notes. He's a teacher that actually enjoys seeing students succeed
REX IS THE BEST! Do the readings and coursework and you will have a good grade. Rex is my favorite teacher at SPSCC, so caring about students and very funny. He makes an effort to get to know you and cares about you succeeding. Gives ample extra credit opportunities and wants to hear what you have to say. He gives great feedback. TAKE THIS CLASS!!
Peter Rex is a great professor, I had him in POLS 202 as one of my first classes at SPSCC. Great first class and good engaging lectures.
Professor Rex is one of the best professor I've ever had! His grading is fair and spread evenly amongst quizzes, homework, and exams. There is a good amount of textbook reading. Less than half of in-person classes are lectures but even those are interesting. You can tell he loves what he teaches and has his students best interests at heart!
If you want to have a chance at passing any political science classes, take Peter Rex. I've had multiple friends take other professors and have absolutely no idea what they were doing and didn't pass with anything above a "B". Only professor I've met where people have passed with a A- or higher is Peter Rex.
Rex is amazing, by far my favorite teacher at SPS: just a chapter reading, some fun class activities and articles, and a weekly assignment. Pretty average workload with a midterm (this is the hardest test), a final test (very easy to prepare for), and a paper for large assignments. If you have an interest in politics take this class!!
Peter Rex is the best professor I've ever had at SPSCC. You can tell he cares about what he's teaching and his students. Classes are engaging and fun. He doesn't lecture often and when he does, it's a small portion of class time. There isn't much homework and as long as you attend class and are engaged, you'll get a good grade.
You can tell he really cares about your success in class and in life in general. Gives GREAT feedback - he takes the time to make individual comments about every assignment and provoke more thoughts and discussions about them.
Professor Rex is one of the best professors i have had at SPSCC so far. while i do think the grading is a little harsh at times he makes up for it by being very clear with what he wants us to learn. just make sure to study up on tests because his questions are more specific that what you would expect.
Peter Rex is a great professor! He is funny, knowledgeable, and cares about his students. The class is engaging and fun to learn in, plus the material is easy to understand. There are weekly assignments, textbook readings, a paper, midterm, and final (open-note). It's simple to do well if you participate, read, take notes, and get your work done!
Prof. Rex's class is engaging and rewarding if you put in the effort. Attendance is a must, but the workload is manageable. unstuck AI and the provided textbook resources were super helpful for preparing and acing the exams.
One of the best professors at SPSCC by a LONGSHOT. If you can take his class, great, in-person? Even better. He knows his stuff and is extremely knowledgeable in his field, and learning with him is always a treat. His class is a bit heavy, however, it is open-note, and you reach out whenever and always get help. Would take his class again.
Professor Rex was great! I really enjoyed his class, all of the material was interesting, and his lectures were very good. I would 100% take him again. He is very passionate and knows so much about the subject. He gives amazing feedback and obviously cares a lot about student success. I highly recommend taking Professor Rex if you can.
THIS PROFESSOR IS GOATED. MY GUY HE IS SUPER KNOWLEDGABLE AND KNOWS HIS STUFF BRU LIKE ONG CHAT. MY GOAT IS SO POOKIEWOOKIE ABOUT HIS WORK AND HE IS GIVING NONCHALANT SIGMA IN HIS FIELD LIKE BRO JUS THE THOUGHT THAT PPL NOT TAKING HIS CLASS IS CRAZY BRO...ON GYATT, THIS GUY IS THE ALPHA AND ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS IN SPSCC!!!!!!
I usually don't write reviews on here, but this one I had to. Peter Rex is genuinely the best professor I have ever had, and I guarantee you THE best professor there is of all time. This man is genuinely caring and passionate about what he loves, and it's clear to see that his number one priority is to see his students succeed. 100% recommended! :)
One of the best professors I have ever had. Never studied once outside of my in-person class. Lectures are informative and filled with games, debates, videos, and fun activities. He has been in politics his entire life and knows what he is talking about. He makes an effort to know his students personally and gives amazing feedback on assignments.
Don't make the mistake I did of accidentally dissing his home state (Wisconsin) on literally day 1 💀 I think he's quietly really really disliked me since, I feel so bad bc he's rly cool 😭 Rex if ur reading this I'm so sorry my cousin literally lived there for two years people from Wisconsin are real and I didn't say the punchline of that joke 😭
Professor Rex is one of the best professors I have had so far. He knows what he is teaching, works to help students, and genuinely wants everyone to succeed if they put in the effort. His quizzes/tests rely heavily on textbook material, but don't overthink it and PAY ATTENTION to the lectures, and you will do great! 100% recommend
