Very helpful - pace of class is good for an Express class - explanations are very clear

Great prof. It wasn't too intense for an express class. Just practice a couple of the problems after each class & you'll be fine.

Wonderful professor!! The best professor I've had at the College. Always willing to give as much extra help as needed, he comes to class an hour before each class for those who need help and is willing to stay as long as needed. Very entertaining and a great way of teaching!! He is the only way to pass stats is you aren't any good at it!

Great Teacher. Makes things very easy to understand. Lots of handouts add alot to the teaching. Could have learned more but he takes time to make sure that every student understands. That gets aggrevating after a while. I was dreeding this class but ended up with an A with no problem. If you hate math he is the one teacher that will change that.

I am not a math person and I ended up with a B in his Stats summer course. He is a great teacher who explains everything thoroughly and clearly. His notes are also GREAT! Everything is laid out, step by step, which makes studying for tests even easier. He's very nice, funny and easy going. If you can take one of his courses, you should!

Awesome teacher, like he states in the beginning of the class he is there to teach and he means it. He loves what he does and he makes sure everyone in the class understands. If you are scared of statistics take this class. As far as I am concerned he should be cloned...especially as a math teacher.

I took Statistics with Mr. S. He is the man, even if he is a Red Sox fan and doesn't believe in a thing called Manhattan Clam Chowder (apparently some idiot dropped tomatoes in it Haha). Mr. Saggese is an excellent teacher. He's really fun to have in class. He's there to teach. Mr. Saggese = a badass. Definitely take him if you get the chance.

He was the best Math teacher I've EVER had!!! This man does not need a text book or examples from the book to explain anything!! He takes Math out of real life and hands it to you on a platter!! Greatest professor I have ever had. So nice and easy. He comes to class like 3 hours early just to help students if needed. I recommend him to anyone who needs to take this class. If you don't get a A in this class, then something is wrong with you, not him.

He is a GREAT teacher. He is super fun and funny, great at explaining things, available, if you miss a test for some reason you can make it up or not take it and have your final exam count for more. on top of it all he has the BEST HAIR IN THE WORLD! is flows like Zach Morris's hair. If you attend class regularly, study his handouts, DO the practice problems, and get help when needed--you'll do just fine in his class. One of the coolest teachers I've ever had! I hate Math with a passion, and avoid it at all costs, but Saggese is awesome! SUCH A GOOD TEACHER! i had him in a 530-645 class, it flew by! he breaks down the material and goes slow and is really funny without over doing it! study guides are exact outlines of the test, so if you study and do homework its an easy A with him! i liked him so much that his boston accent didnt even bother me, haha:)!

Mr. Saggese was by far the best math teacher I have ever experienced. He broke down everything so simple, that it was almost impossible to mess it up. I literally slept through some classes and still got an A. He was always there if you ever had any questions. He talked to you like a friend than just a student. If I could I would take him again!!

Although the class is a bit like high-school, you actually understand. He teaches high school currently and uses a lot of handouts from there. Some of the subjects are tough but he puts them in context that you would understand i.e. the lottery or SAT scores. I dreaded math and he made it bearable for the last semester.

Professor Saggese makes class very interesting by telling stories related to what he is teaching. He is a wonderful man and is always willing to help. His homework is graded on completion and his tests are easy. The final is an "out of" exam meaning that he gives you like 20 problems and you choose 14 of them to do. TAKE HIM. YOU WILL LEARN A LOT!

I thought Statistics would be totally boring, but it was just the opposite. Professor Saggese made it interesting because he always explained the concepts by using examples that we could all relate to. I found myself looking forward to class because he made it fun. Any teacher that can make Statistics fun is definitely worth taking!!!

Professor Saggese is awesome. He made statistics fun. He would always tell funny stories during class, and you would never feel like you were in there for very long. Extremely helpful if you go to him! He even let me sit in on another class one day. If you see Saggese open when you register, you would be crazy not to get in his class.

Peter Saggese is the coolest statistics teacher this side of the mississip'. He makes everything extremely easy for you, as he understands that for most it is a required course.

Ohhh man. words cannot express the love i have for this guy. he gives homework but do it because it helps with the learning process though some of it does not pertain to what is on the tests. i hate math and got a b in the class with no homework and hardly any studying. i did pay attention in class though. i maybe missed 3 or 4. hes also a riot.

Dr. Saggese is AWESOME! I had him for a summer II evening statistics class and wish I had had him for a full semester. He always made sure the students knew what he was talking about. Tests were straight from the hadouts. He always gives out homework that was graded, but it REALLY helps on your tests. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN! He's Awesome!!

best teacher i've had in a while! he taught the material clearly and brought real world stat uses into class discussion. We had 4 tests. before each test he gives reviews and practice problems. Homework is from the textbook and handed in before tests. I had no interest in this class and now i enjoy stats! take sagesse if you can!

Great teacher, he's really helpful in and out of class and even gives you a formula sheet on tests. Attendance mandatory and theres homework, but they help your grade in the end. Very Funny. He keeps it simple. I like that he basically wrote his own math book. It's not hard to do well in his class. His analogies are my favorite. They have little to do with helping you learn, but are extremely funny.

Prof. Saggese has definitely been one of my favorite teachers! He has a simple way of teaching and never goes by the book; in fact, he made his own supplement guide to use as practice instead. Great Proff!! I'm not a big fan of math at all, and definitely not 8am classes, but this one was a breeze, and actually quite fun at times. As long as you pay attention and review its pretty easy to get an A.

Wow, what a great class! Easier than my hs AP Stats class! If you aren't good at math, take this. You move at a perfect pace. The tests are easy although the hw does not correspond with the material in class (kinda wierd). Attendence is mandatory. Five tests. Five groups of homework. That's it. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Fantastic teacher with great sense of humor. I hated math before this class but he teaches with real life examples from a spiral bound book he made himself. Only gripe is the HW is not always relevant for tests. Borrow the text for HW and buy his spiral book if you want to save some $. Gives study questions for each test, 4 and the final. Take him!

After AP Stats in high school I never wanted to take it again. Saggese really made the class enjoyable and is amazing at teaching! He's able to help everyone understand regardless of their learning style or lack of math skills. Definitely take him! Attendance is required but going is worth it anyway! Seriously- awesome professor, awesome class.

Saggese is wonderful. I had him for Math 104, which is an easy enough class, but he's so helpful. You only use the book for homework, so if you have a friend in the class share the book. His stories are funny and relate to the class which helps a lot. Take him if you can!

LOVE Seggese. I had him at 8 am, and he's so entertaining. tells stories that actually relate to the class. Stats was an easy class anyway. You have homework assignments out of the book- you don't use it other than that. Tests are easy if you study, always has an extra credit question, so it's not hard to raise your grade.

Easy class, he doesnt always stay on topic, and pretty much every class he talks about something that isn't relevent for quite a long time. he tries to relate everything to real life but it doesnt always work. HW doesnt always relate, but is mandatory, and so is attendance. if your not good at math take him!

Made statistics so easy and understandable. Great math teacher, made the class pretty entertaining too with his stories. The homework is completely irrelevant to the class, which is annoying but he doesn't check for right or wrong just if you did it, so it's not really a big deal. The only thing you use the textbook for is homework. Great prof!

I'm bad at math and I survived. He's usually understandable and class is entertaining at times. I wish the supplementary book was easier to follow along with. But It did help. The homework was just a waste of time when I could have been studying. Overall, he was a better math teacher than previous ones I've had, although he was a bit intimidating.

Mr Saggese is awesome. I took stats last year as a senior in high school and nothing made sense, never learned a thing, but i took his class and everything made sense. Homework is on a done/not done system and you miss participation points every time you miss class, but i pulled off an a minus missing at least 4 classes. TAKE HIS CLASS

Saggese is a great teacher. He's always available during his office hours and tries to help his students as much as possible. You will definitely use the red book you buy at the beginning. If you attend classes and follow with the red book there should be no reason not to pass the class.

Saggese is the perfect math teacher. He uses real life examples and keeps class light and interesting. 4 exams and an "out of" final. HWs graded as done or not done and an attendance grade. Professor Saggese is great. I understood everything he was talking about because he uses understandable examples and his own workbook. The workbook is amazing. Take him for this class. You won't regret it. The hard cover book for hw is awful. It is hard to understand, and didn't match what we learned in class. This made hw difficult.

LOOOOVE Professor Saggesse! He is hilarious and is always willing to help. He is also very encouraging. Such a great man, definitely recommend taking him! Had no interest in Stats and I'm not so good at math, but got A's on all of the tests :)

Professor Saggese is the best teacher I had my freshman year at CofC. His class was very helpful, and he offered many examples before tests. I loved the book he uses instead of the textbook because it was far less complicated and confusing. Definitely take him if possible!

He is pretty freakin' amazing. I'm not a math person, yet I understood almost everything he explained. If you don't understand, he'll answer anything without making you feel like an idiot. He makes the class entertaining with his jokes that he sticks in while teaching. If you have to take MATH104, take his class. You won't regret it.

Saggese is BY FAR the most incredible math prof. I've EVER had! I'm the worst at math and usually fail or have to withdrawl but I made an A in his class because he is SO helpful and really cares about his students. He uses the text book but he also uses a "green book" that he makes himself and its actually fun! TAKE HIM TAKE HIM! HES THE GREATEST!!

I loved using his text book in class. It was very helpful to look back at the examples when doing homework. Pay attention and do the homework and you'll make a great grade.

He is great. He makes class fun, even though it's math. Tests are very fair, and he tries so hard to help you that you should be able to get an A with no problem as long as you attend lecture, do the homework assigned, and pay attention! I would take him again if I needed another math!

Great professor! I'm not a huge fan of math, but his textbook is a step by step guide to his class and is extremely helpful. I heard negative things from friends who had other professors that used a standard textbook and apparently it makes all the difference.

He makes everything in his class understandable (more than the other professors at the college teaching the same course). I would reccomend him to anyone that needs to take Statistics. He made his own textbook, so he knows exactly what he is talking about. Very helpful answering any question. By far my favorite professor at the college.

Awesome teacher! He is always willing to help and makes his lessons interesting. Makes a point of remembering his students' names and cares about them. Homework not bad and is not collected regularly- all is due on the test day. Definitely recommend him to anyone!

TAKE HIM! He's friendly and amazing! He's so legit that he has his own textbook. He presents his notes in an understandable way. The day before an exam, he provides a review. Just take good notes, and attend class regularly. I made a 100 on my exam and final grade of an A. Also, avoid the math lab because they will confuse you. Visit Peter instead.

Do NOT take this class UNLESS Professor Saggese is your teacher! He is kind, knowledgeable, and gracious-- He even wrote his own textbook! Consistently go to class, be willing to listen, laugh at his jokes, do practice problems, and you will do great! Math is certainly not my major, but I had a wonderful experience.

Can't tell you how many Stat classes I've dropped until Mr. Saggese. He was SO helpful, encouraging and most of all CLEAR with what he taught. Professor Saggese is the best teacher I've ever had. As long as you go to class and take notes, you'll pass. He gives you study guides that are pretty identical to the test just different numbers. He's also very entertaining and has a good sense of humor

Awesome professor, wrote his own textbook so you know EXACTLY what he wants you to know. Practice exams in the back which are almost identical to the tests. Very helpful and clear with material. Never gotten better than a C in math, and I ended up with an A- in his class. Lots of homework, so don't procrastinate, but it's helpful homework!

Very, Very interesting class. I thought that Mr. Saggese was the most clear and helpful teacher I have ever had. I did horribly in this class (4.0 GPA first semester). Most of my classmates found it to be a breeze. Attendance is mandatory. Stay away from early classes. Get there before class and don't leave early. Saggese is helpful, so use his office hours. His textbook doesn't teach well alone, so pay close attention. Ample practice provided for tests.

He's a good teacher. All homeworks of that unit are due the day of the test, so it's easy to procrastinate. However, I don't advise procrastinating in his class. If you do the homeworks and pay attention in class, you will do well. He's also really helpful in office hours, and he's a great guy! His lectures are entertaining sometimes as well.

all other professors should learn from this guy! He really knows how to get everyone on the same page and is so easy only bc he S-P-E-L-L-S out everything he expects, do just that and you get yourself an A or in mycase bc i didnt do all my homework a B!! haha

Best math teacher I have ever had. I am usually a terrible math student and he made math fun and understandable. Gives you a step by step process for each problem and every question is related to real life problems. Keeps class interesting and is a good story teller when he senses the class is tiring of the regular class. Take him!!!!

Had a great time in this class. Examples make sense and are relative.

Test review packets were very helpful. Sometimes taking notes and trying to listen to you and see how the problem is to be solved was difficult. Overall the notes helped me understand the course material.

Great class and great teacher! He genuinely wants everyone to do well. Gives you credit for trying on tests wherever he can. Always available for extra help. Sometimes hard to keep up with him when he gives notes, but other than that an awesome teacher I highly recommend him!

Really easy going professor, doesn't waste time on the little things, straight forward, clear assignments. Fast grader, always gives extra credit on tests, gives partial credit, gets to know everyone's nane even if you never participate

He is good at teaching the material, easy to understand and really tries to answer your questions. But if you miss a class you better get the notes from someone else, and he does assign a lot of homework

Knew nothing about stats going in. He makes it so easy to understand. He uses a book he wrote himself thats around 100$ through the bookstore and you have to buy it new because you do the hw out of it. There is a lot of homework but its due before every test so you have a while. Tests were not hard if you pay attention and do most of the hw.

He seems to go on tangents sometimes but it always relates back to the topic at hand. He makes class comical and easy to understand. He makes sure to be accessible after class. There is homework but it's not due until the next exam and that's about every 2 weeks. I he taught all my math classes I would be set for like. Great professor.

Was an amazing Business Statistics professor over the summer. His lectures were clear and concise, and made sure everyone understood the material before moving on. He does give quite a few tests, however, he tells you ahead of time what is the most crucial information to study. Really loved taking his class :)
