Professor Sietins is really good. He loves to teach and he's really easy to get along with. There are study guides for all the tests and everyone pretty much does well. Lots of groupwork, if that's your thing.

Awesome teacher! He definitely knows his subject and teaches it very well. He never forgets your name either, so he will stop and talk with you outside of class, very cool guy. Highly recomend to be in his class!!!!

he is a great teacher he gives you the study guide and lets you know exactly what is on the test...but you do have to do the study guide and look at it....and make sure you know the essays....those are most of the test anyway

This guy is great...he should be everyone's friend

Great guy who explains the material very well. Class is fun for the most part. It's not that hard, he gives a detailed study guide for every test. Definitely take if you can!!!

a fabulous teacher, he is understanding to the students needs. gives out study shts before each test. goes above and beyond the requirements asked of him. Wish all the other profs. would take a class under him to see how to properly prepare for a class.

This guy really is awesome. It'll take you a couple of classes to understand his personality, but it doesn't matter. He's an easy grader, but you do learn the material. Definitely take him over other teachers.

This guy is da man! He's really easy going, great guy...who actually cares about his students. Class is based on notetaking, and all you need to ace the tests are the notes, u don't even need to buy the book!Take him if you can, you won't be dissapointed

Sietins is the man. Plain and Simple. You can tell he tries very hard to teach well at BSC and hes great at it. Tells cool stories of past experiences on the job. He's the man!

I had this guy in he fall of 02 and he was a good teacher. He is easy and explains everything in his notes. He even stayed after class and gave me some tips on a business I started, and now I'm rich ****!

very easy and tests are straight forward if you follow the study guide. he looks and talks funny (umm, ah, duh) but is a good guy. don't buy the book.

"A bullet class"- Relies on Power Point to much. Show up to class and study for his tests and you'll do fine. Boring but easy.

This teacher is very understanding and you definetly get some knowledge out of his class. You have two big presentation in front of the class and you need to definetly take the notes. He goes threw them so quick so be prepared to write your hands off.

He is a really great guy. Gets to know the class well, which makes it nice. However, he relies directly on powerpoint, which makes it a little boring. All in all, good class.

Very nice and gets to know every person in class. He gives good study guides, but you need to memorize a lot for the tests. He tries to make it interesting through group projects. I definitely would take him again.

Hes a good teacher, but the group work every class is annoying if you get a bad group. but thats a common trend in this major. But hes willing to work with you and using the powerpoint doesnt mean he doesnt know what hes talking about. write fast tho

I cant see how anyone else can post anything negative about this teacher. About 80% of this dept uses slides for their lectures, and I think hes more friendly and charismatic than most. Hes generally intrested in people sharing feedback and getting to know the students in the class. Fair grader 2

he is such a nice professor. he is helpful, understanding about students well, and well in communication with people so students can participate to the class easily.if you habe any question, you can ask him and he will answer you i am sure about it!

His class is very easy, he's very nice. My only complaint is that he pretty much reads powerpoint for his lectures (which are also on blackboard) and it can be a little tedious. But hes nice and the class is good.

Great professor! Easy in class assignments and study guides are exactly what is on the exams. He gives you the essays on the study guide too, so you just have to memorize the answers. Big on group work and attendance.

He is an AWESOME teacher! All notes are on power point slides on Blackboard. Print off the slides and use them in class. In class assignments are done in groups and he has copies for those that don't have a book. He gives you a study guide for EVERY test with the EXACT essay questions on it. HIGHLY recommend him!

One of the best professors on campus. He teaches from the powerpoints and almost all homework is done in groups during class. Great personality and makes the extremely boring subject entertaining. A couple presentations.. just a heads up if u don't like public speaking

Professor Sietins is the man very helpful if you have any questions and is a very personable teacher who builds friendly realtionships with students that shows he really cares. Make sure you go to class and you may not need book if you can follow the powerpoints. BEST TEACHER AT BSC WITHOUT A DOUBT DEF. TAKE HIM!!!

Best Professor I have ever had. Why doesn't this professor teach Mgmt 200 instead of that nut case Sylvia Keyes? 4 exams and a group presentation. goes over material in detail and tests are straight from material taught. Hard to fail unless you don't even try. This guy is super nice too. Absolutley the man!!!!

Online winter course. fast paced, as long as you do work you do well. Very straight forward in what he wants, answers emails and helps when he can. One major project at the end, powerpoint on a subject of your choice. Ended class with a straight A. Def recommend

Winter Online course, very intense, it was not easy.3 case study assignmts from text,2-3 blackboard assignmts,3 Quizzes, A powerpoint project and a Final exam-10 questions (written) not multiple choice. Also must interact on blackboard w/ other students (posting replies). w/ everything he was always helpful thru email.

Peters a good guy. Approachable and well mannered. He's crystal clear about when tests will be, whats going to be on them, and is pretty fair on tests. PowerPoints are painful but breaks up 3 hour classes by assigning groups at the end. You'll have to read the book to pass the easily misinterpreted test questions. Follow the study guide and pass.

Very nice teacher, knows his stuff. Most work is done in class in teams and we had to give short on-the-spot presentations each week showing off some web tool we found related to the topic. Easy and quick to do, no sweat. 3 case studies assigned as homework. One final project demonstration of a management tool. No final exam. Never used the book.

Dr. Sietins is a very interesting and funny professor. His class was easy, but hard and he gives endless opportunities to succeed. After he gives a test the next class we get to discuss it and if we make a valued argument and show we know the material he adds points to our test. Very helpful and a great professor.

This man is one of BSU's greatest professors. He's so understanding of student's responsibilities and actually wants everyone to learn, rather than be suffocated with work. His class was so interesting and relevant; it was the most useful class I've ever taken. He knows his material but is always open to learning from students. Highly recommend.

Took him for intro management class. The class is strictly lecture heavy while you follow alongside a powerpoint. Theres 3-4 tests based on the slides. Book is not needed at all. Group Project at the end, which is interesting. He repeats himself so material is clear. Gives great study guides and real life examples. Great guy! Recommended

I like when he gives good grades on Blackboard; he's really nice and easy to talk to, he gives great lectures in class

I took Fundamental Information Systems as a two week online class and it was intense but if you're dedicated then you can definitely get an A. The answers to the quizzes are online so don't buy the book. We had case studies to read and that's the only thing that took effort to read and articulate your thoughts. I'd recommend for a quick 3 credits.

Professor Sietins is great. He really cares about student progress and wants everyone to learn. I have taken him for two drastically different classes and both times I was pleased. Pay attention to the material and BUY THE BOOK TO STUDY, and you'll be totally fine. I recommend him!

Took as a hybrid in the summer for 5 weeks. Showed up once a week to listen to him lecture. 3 papers, increasing in length every time, individual presentation with the option of not presenting, and a group presentation which is mandatory. The papers were easy but lengthy. Take it over the summer, bang out the work, and you're done in a month.

He is a great prof. The assignments are easy to do and are interesting. There are a few quizzes that haven't been bad at all. As long as you do the work you'll get an easy A.

Great professor, I've taken him twice and would take him again. His lectures are engaging and he is not a tough grader, he explains the assignments very clearly and is a very reasonable guy. As long as you put an effort in, you will pass.

This professor is one of the best I've had at BSU. Very caring toward student success. Very flexible with due dates. Camera must be turned on for zoom for full credit. Discussions, one individual presentation, on team presentation, midterm, and final. Very good lectures and will answer as many questions as you have. I will miss this class.

The class was only offered over Zoom. He is a very nice man but sometimes not clear on his grading. there is homework almost every week, group and individual presentations, midterm, and a final. He made the lectures interesting enough by talking about real-world experiences. I would recommend taking him.

Taken a few classes with him , overall great professor and great man. Individual project and group project with a midterm and final.

Class is easy. You are expected to work in a group to do the daily assignment. He gives you 10/10 for it if you read your assignment to the class. No homework. Textbook is not needed, save your money. Sometimes lectures get boring but the doing the daily assignment makes class go by fast.

Good professor and offers opportunities to get 10/10 for the assignment. Group projects is the norm for this class. Textbook is not need, I never got the book. I just used the slides for reference. He is an understanding guy and knows that life happens.

This class doesn't have homework but instead we do daily group assignments. Easy subject and lets us out early most of the time. Chill professor
