I've heard many say that he goes into too much detail, but its not knowledge that wont be useful to you in your careers as nurses, docs, etc...so listen, learn something, and stop complaining. Besides for anyone who struggles with the material, he goes above and beyond to pull you through the course offering spare time to anyone.

If you are truly interested in science and understand that doing well in college means working hard, you will love Dr. Susan. He is one of the best professors I've ever had and I can't believe how much I learned in his class. Sometimes he gets a bit off topic, but he always loops back around to the subject at hand. He is always willing to help.

Dr. Susan is a very smart man, almost too smart for a freshman level class. I believe this is why his class is so challenging. He goes over SO much information and expects you to know things that the average person would never know. He is a very nice man, I just would NOT recommend taking his class. It could be a lot simpler than he makes it.

If you are taking this as a nursing pre-req, don't complain, if you think this class is too much then you will not be ready for the nursing courses. Study and pay attention!

Dr. Susan is definitely an outstanding teacher. I had him for my Bio 210 in Spring and what everyone else says is true, he teaches concepts and not definitions. My only complaint is that he does teach at higher level than where you're at in the class so I was lost for a while but if you study and read the material, it should be smooth sailing.
