Peter is a part time teacher who has his own business and he teaches internation business. He's very easy going and very nice. His teaching style is very smooth and there's no stress at all. He grades very easy and his class is very interesting. he talks about current issues and has guest speakers to talk to the class. he also shows videos etc.

Easy Ass Quiz and & Test.. I don't remember doing HW. There just one project at the end and thats it. The quiz was like 5 questions and the test was like 10 questions I think. Easy teacher & I learned some very interesting things. Easy A

Great class. Wasn't required for me, but I took it because I like International Business. Quizzes/Tests/Midterm all open notes. If you come every night and take notes, you'll get at least a B on everything. If you do the HW too you should get an A. The final paper was a bit of a pain, but I would definitely do it again if I had to.

Pete was a great teacher! He was very helpful. If I had any questions I was able to ask. If you get a bad great on your mid-term talk to him and he will automatically higher the grade 1/2 a grade. I have never met a teacher with a such great personality like Peter. Every night after his classes I felt a tremendous desire to learn, to work, and to grow. He is certainly a great mentor who not hesitate to share his own valuable experience in a business field. He is the teacher who inspire, and even change the trajectories of our lives.

He is really great as a professor. You can tell he is passionate about what he teaches. Only had two tests with him: the mid term and the final. Plus he let them be open note and they were relatively easy. Only one big term paper which is a 10 page essay. which can be simple since he gives you all semester to do it.

If you actually want to learn something from someone who truly knows the ins and outs of business, take Pete's Business 100 class. The way he structures the class makes you utilize the textbook, but it has a high payoff. I learned a lot from him not just about the class material, but business in the real world.

Very important to read and write notes; might seem tedious, but will help you pass the class. Extra Credit is available. Prof is a good guy with a lot of knowledge. There will be times where you need to work with the people around you. Big paper due at the end about any business of your choice. Class is a lot of fun and definitely would take again.

Pete is very knowledgable, he knows how to explain things so a person that's not familiar with the subject will still understand. He gives amazing lectures that are engaging and interesting. Pete's class is easy if you read the book and participate; if he sees that not a lot of people participate during lectures, he will give a pop quiz. The only thing you need to worry about in his class is the 10 page paper about anything business related, which you have the whole semester to do. He is funny and also approachable.

Great class. Would take more classes with him if I had the chance. Applies real life material to textbook matieral. 10 page paper on a company of your choice. Keeps things interesting in class by using a variety of teaching methods (PowerPoint, videos, groupwork, etc.)

Although every class included a lecture, he made sure to throw in some group activities to make class more interesting. Easy class if you simply do the work and show up. A+ best professor, EVER. Pete's classes are mainly lectures. There is a lot of reading, but manageable. Be sure to take notes, you will need them for the exams. Very friendly and knowledgeable; explains things very thoroughly(sometimes repeats too many times though). It's pretty clear that he cares more about students understanding the material as opposed to "earning their grade"(the tests were open notes, but it encouraged writing the notes in the first place), which I liked a lot. He's one of my favorite teachers I have ever had. He reaches you the material very well but he also reached you life lessons and is willing to help you with anything. All you have to do is take goo notes on each chapter and you'll pass the class.

Loved Pete! Honestly just take him. Take notes on the vocab from book and you'll ace the test. Doesn't hurt to take notes in class too. What bugged me is he never put our grades up during the year. It scares me because what if he input a test grade wrong?! He just submitted our grades and there is no way to check even after the course was over.

The level of professionalism and experience he brings to the table is exceptional, and it's an absolute shame for those that do not take advantage of his wisdom. He always dress clean with warm smiles. Materials used are relative to daily life; I find them useful, interesting, and inspiriing. Homework took me about 2hr to finish per week. He responded to emails very quickly even not during working hours. He knows about what is he teaching really well. His class is ESL students friendly.

Pete's lectures are very interesting, and he uses different methods such as videos, and group activities to teach the course material. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities to his students throughout the semester. As long as you read the textbook and take good notes, this class should be pretty straight-forward.

Great teacher but he does take things like paying attention to his lectures and personal integrity seriously and he feels disrespected when you look at your phone, not read the book or nod off. Be attentive and respectful and he will be nice and more forgiving to you when you need help.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class; Peter makes it very interesting and engaging. We always had great discussions about relevant BUS topics, and he truly cares about all his students. Mr. Bleichert is one of the best professors that I have ever had. He is very passionate about business and has a lot of experience running his own companies so he is able to bring his lectures to life with real world experience. If you read the book, do your HW, knock out a couple extra credits, and participate in class, you should get an A.

Legit just read the textbook.I'd recommend reading ahead of time and taking thorough notes. The tests are mostly definition based, you have 1 major project called a pitch deck which he helps you with. He does all the homework with you and gives you plenty of time to do it. He wants all students to succeed and gives hella chances for extra credit.

As a high school student taking a college class, I could not have asked for a better professor. He was thorough, never boring, engaging, and actually wanted his students to not only get a good grade, but learn and continue taking business classes. I would recommend this class to ANYONE, regardless of their major.

One of my best teachers. He really makes the topics interesting by showing videos, discussing real world examples, and applications. Students who takes this course will get a good basic knowledge of business including the stock markets and there are lots of opportunities for extra credit so anyone should be able to get a decent grade.

This was a great class! He gives extra credit for things that will help you in life, like making a LinkedIn or creating an IRA. It is discussion-based, so you will learn more if you ask questions. I took the summer class and we went through a chapter a class, so if you missed one class you missed a lot. Also, not coming to class hurts your grade.

Great teacher. His courses are well organized and he cares about teaching. You shouldn't have any problems doing well as long as you take notes and do the HW. Homework every week due on Canvas by Sunday night, a total of 4 exams, and plenty of extra credit opportunities. The exams can be challenging but they are always open notes.

Great Professor ! Has quizs after every chapter but open notes! Open notes on final and test. So write good notes. He makes business very interesting & makes the class fun.

Mr. Vonbleichert is an outstanding teacher who truly cares for his students. He clearly makes the effort and sets apart his time to help students outside of class. As a student in middle college, he is beyond the most helpful teacher. As long as you show up, dont use the phone in class, and listen, it is easy to pass the class with an A.

Dr. VonBleichert's class was my favorite. He makes lectures fun and engaging. There are quizzes after a couple of chapters but they are open notes. The final is also open note, and he offers many extra credit opportunities. He is a great teacher and I highly recommend you take his class.

Four exams all open notes. There could be pop quizzes after each chapter ends . The professor helps u achieve better grades and discusses over how you could work on that . Extra credits available. It helps a lot if you read the chapter in advance and also participate in his lectures .he also arranges field trips and extracurricular activities.

I was not looking forward to Business as I am a STEM major, however, Pete made this class so enjoyable! He was very clear, eloquent and helpful throughout the entire semester. You start the final project at the beginning of the semester and work on throughout so it isn't a last minute thing. The tests are open note- just read textbook. TAKE HIM!

Teacher Pete is has amazing lecturers, he inspires his student to do their best. His lectures are clear and very informative.

The class isn't difficult as long as you take notes, and there are lots of opportunity for extra credit. Professor is always available to help in office hours!

Prof. Peter Von Bleichert is one of the best! Everything you'll learn in the class you can use in the real world. You'll get valuable knowledge of the subject. The professor goes above and beyond to provide the most recent and useful information. He cares about you succeeding, but, of course, you have to study for the class.

Prof VonBleichert is one of the best professors i've had at CSM. I took Bus 100 in person and Bus 401 online. When I struggled on a test I reached out and he provided feedback, gave me extra attempts with extra time. He's a caring professor who wants to work with you to make sure you succeed. We had weekly quizzes, a project and final was a test.

Really enjoyed this class. Prof Pete is very adept online and provides a very rich and complete experience. I learned a lot in the class that I will be able to use in my career. Prof provides generous opportunity for extra credit.

All homework and quizzes are on the textbook cite, Cengage. Which I love because when taking quizzes or doing homework, if you get a bad score you can retake it usually 2-3 times. its all multiple choice. about 2-3 discussions every month and he's a very generous grader. Basically if you do the work and show effort he gives full credit. LOVE HIM!!!

Professor VonBleichert is by far the best professor I have had in my two years at CSM. You have to write a 500-word discussion every week but it's honestly not that bad. All the coursework is on Cengage which is nice because you get several tries on homework and quizzes. I definitely recommend taking any business class with him. 11/10 professor.

Professor Peter Von Bleichert is one of the best teachers I have had at CSM. His assignments, while tough at times, were always manageable and quite topical. Furthermore, he was very responsive to emails and gave great feedback on course discussions! I would definitely take a course again with him!

Easy class if you are looking for a basic understanding of business. Watching the lecture was enough for me to pass weekly quizzes. Quizzes are easy as it allows you to check if answers are correct /w no penalty. There are weekly discussions + extra credit by responding to more than the minimum. No midterm, final, papers, or projects.

The professor made the class assignments very clear as to what is expected from you each week. He also have zoom hour where if you have any questions or concerns he will be available. He usually gives feedback to your discussion and the class reading assignment is long but interesting. Quiz on every chapter and discussion every week.

Im glad I took this class, it was a very easy summer class. The assignments were very clear. We had a discussion every week and the prompt was always clear. He replies to the students discussion posts and that was helpful. If you ever have the chance to take Professor Peter Von Bleichert take him!!

Prof. Pete is honestly the kindest, most understanding professor that I have personally had at CSM. Very simple class with tons of information regarding the different positions, as well as a summary of businesses as a whole. Quizzes aren't difficult at all, very understanding on late work. 10/10 must take for business (trust me)

I took three courses with Professor Von Bleichert (BUS100, MGMT100, and BUS201). He is a great,​ clear, passionate, expert, and very responsive professor. ​I enjoyed all three courses and would take other classes with him.

Such a good class would take again. It is just discussion after discussion, so it's a bit of research, and there are lots of quizzes, but everything is so easy, you just gotta focus up.

Had him a couple years ago, still remember him. He always said “anything is possible and anyone who says otherwise is just insecure about themselves” one of the best teachers I've ever had

If you plan on taking it as a late start get ready for a lot of reading each week. He never responded to a really important email so that's why I took off a point other than that pretty straightforward on what you gotta do. There's a test and a comprehension assignment for each chapter also super easy

No assignments tab so I referred to the grades tab for due dates but for discussions the first post is due the Thursday BEFORE it says. No credit for posting on the night they are due. That's about all I didn't like about the course but got used to it. The rest of the work is multiple choice work from the weekly readings and its straight forward.
