She is a good and caring teacher. She will help you anything you need. Be mindful that you need to keep up with your homework. There will also be a lecture presentation that you need to do. You will have to make a powerpoint of a lesson and teach it to the class, but don't stress it. It isn't too difficult.

She is one of the best teachers ever for me. The Chinese language is required to take a lot of studying and taking time to learn. She is the best instructor and teacher. I took 2 classes from her. The class itself can be very challenging. You need to pay attention and prepare for new chapters. There will be a quiz for every chapter and the exam is hard. However, Laoshi is very caring and understanding. As long as you do your best and take your time to study hard, you will succeed in the class.

This class is hard but it's doable. If you have taken CHIN 101,102 then this class will not be super hard. It is going to test you but it will help you so much in terms of learning new vocabulary which will be beneficial in real word situation

Chou Laoshi was instrumental in cultivating my desire to improve my Chinese. The class takes a lot of work because normally lots of effort are put in learning a new language especially Mandarin. Chou Laoshi does a great job in laying down the foundations of the language.

She will ask students to discuss a topic and only give them about 20 seconds. Overall, she is knowledgable and you will learn a lot in her class.

Sister respond quickly to emails class participation and made the content engaging. Just make sure to stay on top of the readings and assignments there's a steady workload, but it's manageable.

Best Chinese Professor! Would recommend to take her classes and learn Chinese from her. She even takes time to research and help us understand the different uses of certain words or grammar patterns and not just stick to the book.

You need to make an effort in learning especially the expectations in 201 is higher than the 100's. No pinyin in the readings. While going through the text there is a section where we learn some behind the scene that can improve our Chinese which is very useful. Highly recommend to ask question because those questions can turn into lesson.

Sister Chou is the best teacher and this class she's started to show she cares more by preparing more material outside of textbook which i appreciate. Textbook work is a bit hard to work with in learning any language but she does the best she can given our materials. She always pushes you to do better but has mercy as its a very hard language.
